Michael is an intelligent, albeit a little absent minded middle schooler.

Ellie is a sweet and kind sixth grader who cares deeply about her friends.

What both of them have in common is they were both next to a certain apartment when it exploded with light, not only turning them into Pokémon, but sending them careening into another universe entirely.

Now they have to escape the new, terrifying places they’ve appeared in, a land of something resembling nuclear fallout on a glass desert, opposing a beautiful but similarly deadly jungle with animals and flora like nothing else.

Unless they can brave the locale and work together with the strange people living here, they may not be able to escape before the thing keeping them there finds them.

Also, what’s this about “Summons”?
