Mayor Mare has never lost an election since her political career began. The reason behind her success: she has never made a promise she hasn't kept. So when she makes a throwaway comment about how she'd suck her rival's cock if the new Ponyville bridge was not still standing by the time she was up for re-election in one year's time, she naturally thinks nothing of it.

That is, until it collapses the night before the vote.

Now, faced with the dilema of breaking her first mayoral promise right before the most important day of her career, or utterly degrading herself for all of Ponyville to see, she soon learns that small-town politics isn't all it's cracked up to be.
