Say Anything,Please.
Load Full StoryWhen the rain had started, she couldn't remember. It didn't matter, nothing mattered, nothing except the anger, the shame. Autumn ran, she ran as fast, as far as she could, the wind and rain sucking the tears from her eyes faster than she can cry them, Furiously she ran forward, running from her shame. She ran until it came to a sudden stop, her hoof snagged on a root and sent her into a nasty spill through the mud and grass. "Just look at what happened to you now Autumn, not so great and creative now are you? more like Useless and Wet, Ruined and Hated...Worthless..and Alone."
Autumn's heart sped up and she felt everything she had pushed down inside her building up. She collapsed down, laying spread over the gorund. Her body began to shake, her lungs began to heave, gasping for the air she needed. The tears followed, slowly at first, rolling down her cheeks. Closing her eyes, she began to sob to herself, as she had done the past few nights, it became really hard to fall asleep anymore without doing so. Her body twitched as terrible nightmares sank into her mind. She was walking apon a pleasent autumn forest with all the leaves silently falling. Just as fast as she blinked the trees turned black, the bark was shedding greenish black wood, the leaves torn and shriveled. Her hooves began to sink into darkness. Her blue scarf stained with black sploches. Her shrieks were muted. She couldn't scream. Her mouth stiched all of a sudden. A dropplet of blood dripped on her nose and she looked up horrified, A bloody pulp of bloody flesh and bone which was once her parents hung in the dead tree above her.
She let out a blood curtling shrieked. Her eyes flew open, filled with fear and flashing with horrific memories. She was still dirty, the mud had dried on her orange fur and her dark orange hair was matted and un-brushed. She heaved, her breathing was heavy. Then she felt.... strange. Like she was being watched. She lifted her ears and turned her head. There was standing a Tall light green stallion was standing behind her. Look as if he thought she was amusing.
He look at her, his eyes filling with sympathy and sorrow, "Here, let me help you." He smiled. Autumn looked at him. His cutie mark was a stem with two leaves, His brown hair twirled with green stripes. She was wobbling as she stood up. "What is your name ?" He asked innocently. She blinked,
" A- Autumn....w- what is yours ?" She stammered, glacing up and down trying not to blush at the handsome stallion. His tone was soft and light,
" My name is Leafy Green. But everypony calls me Leafy." he was blushing heavily. "Hey, where do you live ?" he asked gesturing his hoof toward the distance. Autumn looked down,
" I have no home..." she murmured loud enough for him to hear.
"Then you can stay with me..Autumn. I have a guest room in my house. I would be happy to let you stay. We can get to know each other !" his welcome made Autumn feel warm inside. She smiled and her eyes brightly glowed,
" Oh that is so kind of you. How will I thank you in return ? Honestly I cant thank you enough !" she rambled. Leafy gave a curt nod. " No need to thank me", he started to walk onward, "I found a nice lonley mare in the woods and she has already repaid me." he said. Autumn walked behind him so she couldn't tell what his expression was.
" How ?" she asked. Leafy stopped and turned,
" She repaid me with her beauty. Even if she was covered in dirt." He turned and kept walking on. Autumn felt butterflies in her belly. She never heard another pony say this before.
