Author's Note

I hope you enjoy the story I'll try to make more but it might take me sometime.

prologue

Jacky Brook a broken man wondering what his purpose is. Jacky is a white male but with minor defects he was born with asthma and later when he was six years old, he lost all motion in his right leg making him crippled. Life has been harsh for the poor guy people miss treated him in every school he's been to, so his parent home schooled him. Later on, when he was fifteen Jacky was on a road trip with his family, but a drunk truck driver rammed the car Jacky an his family was in.

Jacky woke up in the hospital when the doctors checked on him, they gave him the bad news. Jacky was shattered that day he had no one to look after him no relatives no close friends nobody. the truck driver was sentence for life for what he asked Jacky to forgive him, but he sat there silent never saying a word.

Five years past since the event Jacky was driving on his way home or what's left of one anyway. Jacky had to sell his parent's home because he couldn't afford anymore so he sold it and bought a trailer in the middle of nowhere. The young man got out of the car with the same sad and broken face that he had for years as he grabbed his cane and walk into his home and sat down turning on the television but all he got was a blurry screen. He grabbed a picture frame of him and his parents that was on a counter next to him as he looks at the picture it brings him some joyous moments in his life. As he was reminiscing, he was unaware of what's happening outside he starts feeling the trailer shaking he gets up from the chair looked out the window it shocked Jacky it was a large tornado that he has ever seen, and it was heading towards him an fast he tried to take cover, but the trailer was shaking he couldn't keep his balance making him fall over and hit his head on the counter knocking him unconscious. Outside the trailer was blown off the ground into the tornado sending it who knows where.

*Several hours later in a new world*

Jacky was waking up his head was aching he look at his surrounding an saw his place was a total mess and he remembered what happened. As he got up to see the damage of his home the inside was a mess a view things broken furniture out of place no electricity, but the outside everything seemed alright except being moved to a whole new area as Jacky look outside all could see was trees around his surrounding it shocked Jacky to the core because he never expected this to happen. Jacky knew if he stayed where he was, he would die out here, so he grabbed his cane and marched through the forest and try to find civilization if there was any. As Jacky traverse through the forest, it seemed endless and Jacky was about to give up until he spotted a structure up ahead as he got closer to the structure, he realized it was abandoned castle. It looked like no one lived there for quite some time as Jacky decided to explore the castle and whoever lived here was tall because there are set of armor figures that stood out about seven feet. Jacky explored the hole castle through the armory, barracks, library, garden, and finally the throne room and the place looked like a warzone as he looks around, he spotted two throne chairs, and they had different symbols on them one was a sun the other was a crescent moon as he walked toward the chairs his cane clicked something on the floor and everything in the room started shaking and the floor opened up a hidden passage way. As the young man was contemplating whether to go into the tunnel that open up lead who knows where or he could leave and find civilization for help, so Jacky pulled out a coin to decide what to do.

"Heads I go into the spooky tunnel tails I leave and find someone to help me in my situation." he said to himself. He flipped the coin landed in his hand and it landed on heads.

Jacky sighed and walked through the secret tunnel as he walked further into the tunnel it was getting dark where he can't see anything when suddenly some lights were coming from these crystals that acted like torched helped him see better. As he kept walking, he saw a light at the end of the tunnel and what he saw was something he never seen before. He thought he saw the light from the outside but instead it was a huge crystal inside a massive room that looked like a shrine. for some reason Jacky was drawn to it and as he walked closer to it, he can't help but touch it. When he touched the crystal it felt so warm but as soon as he put his hand on the crystal his hand was stuck to it. Jacky try to pry his hands off the crystal but the more he struggled only making him more stuck. The crystal was growing brighter than before Jacky was getting scared thinking it was a trap all to cache thieves but as Jacky thought it was the end for him, if this was the end for him he would except what his fate. Soon the hole room grow so bright it looked like an explosion was about to appear.

Outside the ruined castle and forest, the ground was shacking then the ground erupted releasing a pillar of light that reach the sky for everybody to or every pony to see. As the pillar of light was fading away there was a crater with a crystal like cocoon at the center of the crater.

*Celestia pov*
I was sitting in my private study enjoying my cup of tea and reading papers for new laws from the nobles some were good some not so much like the one I'm reading now says to remove a local school to build a fancy spa even though canterlot has three as it is, so I burn the request to continue my work. When suddenly I felt a surge of magical energy, I made the balcony to look outside then I saw a massive pillar of light erupted from the everfree forest then my sister came rushing to see what was happening.

"Sister what has happened and what is this strange surge of light coming from?" asked Luna.

"It's coming from the everfree forest summon the guards and Twilight and her friends we must see what the cause of this is immediately." I told Luna. AS soon as we made it to ponyville Twilight and her friends were waiting for us by the edge of the everfree as we were about to march through the forest twilight was ask questions as usual when something comes up so I told her that I don't know we have to investigate and find out. We found the place where the pillar of light was and what we found surprised me there was a crater but what was inside the crater was a crystal cocoon. As we examined this strange object we all feel the surge of magic energy coming from it like its almost alive. One of the guards come over to report something to me.

"Princess, we have found a tunnel leading back to your old castle into the throne room." she reported.

"I didn't know there was built in tunnel in the throne room how strange?' I thought to myself. While I was thinking to myself another guard wanted to report something else as well.

"Princess, we have found a small home deeper in the forest. we followed some footprints leading to the small home leading to the old castle." My lieutenant reported. I asked her to show me. As she led me and the others to this small home. When we found the small home, I was shocked what I had seen. The place looked it was used an a mess like it was dropped here as we walked inside the place was messy as well like a it was hit by a storm. as we were looking around, I stepped on a picture frame as I picked it up, I saw a photo of a happy family but as I looked at being in the picture I couldn't tell what they are, but I hope they are alright. as I was in my train of thought my lieutenant asked what I found.

"I think there may be a family stuck in the everfree forest was there any signs of a fight or any bodies nearby?" I ask. But she told the there wasn't any signs of a fight or bodies nearby. So, I ordered that the pegasi guards to move this home out of the everfree and have a search party look for any signs of this family. They saluted and did as instructed but my heart grow worry of the young one in the family in the picture. As we marched back to the crystal in the crater, I asked Twilight to take it to her lab an see what she can find she smiled and nodded she teleported the crystal with her friends. As I looked up at the sky thinking to myself that something bad was about to happen, but I ignored these thoughts and left this place so that I may continue my duties and explained to my fellow subjects of what has happened at the everfree.

As walk outside my castle there were reporter ponies ready for an interview of the latest update to what happened.

"Princess Celestia what was that pillar of light? Is it a new threat or is it something we should worry about?" one reporter asked.

"There is no threat but the rest of what I found is confidential so please don't panic I know you are scared but I promise you everything will be alright." I said to the reporter. As my subjects were talking amongst themselves, I was thinking about that crystal we found and what caused it to erupt that huge pillar of light and hoping Twilight will find some answers from it. While another thought came about the young couple in the picture frame I found and hoping they are alright.

*Twilight pov*

As me and my friends teleported back to the castle of friendship we begone studying the crystal. As I was writing many theories what it could be my train of thought was interrupted by the doors slamming open by three other best friends Barbara, Starlight, and Sunset.

"Twilight what happened? what was that pillar of light and where did you get that huge crystal and why is it in the lab?" Barb asked. I explained what happened and told them the pillar of light was caused by the crystal we found with Princess Celestia and Luna. When I was done explaining I continued examining the crystal it was giving off strange magic vibes that probably haven't been used in centuries.

"I think we need some outside help because thing isn't equestrian that's for sure does any pony know who can help?" asked Sunset. we were wondering who can help us Pinkie raised her hand. " Pinkie pie do you know any pony that can help us?"

"I think Maud can help us she knows everything about rocks and geological stuff and maybe ask Zecora for help as well for mystical answers for what it is." said Pinkie. As we were contemplating of who to asked but Pinkie chose the right ponies that can help us.

"Alright Pinkie you go get Maud and Applejack you go get Zecora While we keep an eye on the crystal." I told them. While they left, we continue our conversation of what the crystal might be. Rarity asked of the small home we also found in the everfree.

"Wait there was a house in the everfree how is that possible?" asked Starlight. I told Starlight the small home is something of interest but Celestia told me to look after the crystal and right on time Pinkie pie and Applejack return with some help.
As Maud and Zecora looked at the crystal Maud asked a question.

"Where did you find this magnificent crystal and why do you have it?" asked Maud in her emotionless tone. I told her where we found it and got a closer look at it and to my surprise, she started to hug it like it was hers.

"I don't know what kind of crystal it is but it something beyond anything I've ever seen before, and I wish I had one." she said. While Zecora stared at it like she was in a trance so asked her does she know what it is.

"I do not know what it is, but I can tell you it is something of great value because I think it is a gift from the gods of our world." she said. I looked at her and shocked because this is the first time, because she hasn't made a rhyme when she looked at the crystal. As she mentions that it is a gift of the gods, I asked her why would the gods send us a crystal of unknown origins.

"Twilight the gods play many games to see the outcome, but they also bring us many miracles to are world like the trees of life so we can have children and become mothers and many artifacts so we can thrive as a species an this could be one of them." Zecora said. Now that she mentioned it the gods of our do play a weird game with our lives and that could explain the pillar of light that the crystal appeared in. As I was lost in thought Barb shook me and I asked her what is it.

" The crystal its glowing brighter than usual." Barb said as she pointed at the crystal. As everyone stopped and looked at it became clear something was about to happen so I told everyone to take cover because I don't know what's about to happen, but it can't be good.

*earlier in an unknown reality Jacky pov*

As Jacky was in a deep sleep in a realm many of the Gods of Equast studying him seeing what he is.

"Oh my what strange creature do we have here?' said a feminine voice of a Kirin.

"It looks like a hairless ape to me what do y'all think?" said an angry voice of a dragoness.

" Now girls this being is the one we have been waiting for. For he is the next miracle that we shall for our world and who knows maybe something more to see how he progresses, but we might need to reforge him if he is to survive in our world" said a more elegant voice but this voice belongs to Galaxia the mother of both Celestia and Luna. As she said that the other goddess were conversing with each other but the goddess of the Abyssinians question Galaxia.

"Are you sure he's the one? Because he might turn bad like Terra or Umbra?" she said. But as the goddesses were contemplating Galaxia touched the young man's face she smiled knowing that she's making a right choice.

"He's not a bad person he just needs some love to fix his broken heart." Galaxia said. As all the goddesses were thinking they decided to this young man into something that will change their world forever. So, they repair the young man crippling flaws that he had and gave him a body that will help him for whatever comes his way, and they also gave a little something to make him more productive.
