Dragonpony Snuggles with Fluttershy
Dear Mr. Tinker,
My name is Fluttershy. I live in the third cottage down the road from ponyville's southwest road, and I care for animals there with my friend, Discord. He's a Draconequus, and I know he can be scary, but he can also be a very good friend once you get to know him.
I've written this letter to ask if you would like to come visit us! My talent is caring for the creatures of Equestria, and I've met so many of them that I've decided I would like to try making a friend out of every creature there is, big or small. I've never met a dragonpony before, and I was surprised to find out that one is living right here in ponyville! If it's okay with you, maybe you would like to come visit this weekend? I'll make us some tea, I even have a recipe that's supposed to be delicious for dragonponies, I'd love to hear what you think of it!
And if it's not too much to ask, maybe we would be able to cuddle for a bit? I love talking to new creatures, and some of them can be so snuggly, too. I'm sorry if it sounds weird, I can explain better snout-to-snout, I'll see you on saturday if you decide to visit!

The moment Tinker's eyes passed over the mare's name at the end of the paper, it suddenly wrapped itself in a magical aura, making the brown stallion yelp as he let go of it. Just in time, the tiny paper discord opened its wings, taking to the air as it glared down at Tinker. "And don't be getting any bright ideas, buster brown, on what she means by cuddling... you hear me?"
Tinker quickly nodded, saying, "O-Of course, uh, Discord... sir..."
"Good", the paper Draconequus said, before pointing to the glass of chocolate milk sitting on the table in front of Tinker. "And wash up before you come over, please, you do not want to see what happens if I have to wash you myself because you thought you were decent enough to walk into somepony else's home", he said, as the glass shimmered, then transformed into a bottle of shampoo- chocolate scented, of course.
"....Hey! I was gonna drink that!" Tinker protested, scrunching his snout at the little paper creature. "And chocolate? Is that really necessary?"
Putting on a grin, the tiny Draconequus landed on the table as he said "Of course! Well, not by her request, I just think it's funny. And don't bring that blasted van of yours, for the love of all that is quiet, capiche?"
Tinker sighed, picking up the bottle to look at it. "I guess so... and I don't drive into town, those are for going way out to manehatten or something".
"Sounds good, Tonka Truck!" the little Discord chirped. "See you on saturday then?"
The nickname made Tinker's snout scrunch up a little bit, but the hybrid nodded again, saying, "Yeah, it sounds like fun I guess... when am I supposed to be there?"
"Try to make it in time for lunch, if you'd like a snack", the paper hummed, before laying down on the table, then flattening itself back into the page it had been with another brief flash of magic.

Discord suddenly looked upwards as his ears both perked, then he smiled back down at Fluttershy as he said "Oh, it looks like the dragonpony is on for Saturday".
"Oh, wonderful!" the pegasus chirped, gently tapping her front hooves together. "You weren't too hard on him, were you...?"
Discord merely laughed, saying, "Of course not, but it would seem my nickname wasn't a hit..." as he flicked his fingers, summoning a little metal Tonka dump truck in his hand, complete with a little Tinker plushie in the back with buttons for eyes.
"Oh, Discord..." Fluttershy quiely huffed. "And can you start over with your story again? I still don't understand why the monkeys are trying to pop all of those baloons..."

Tinker held the bottle of chocolate syrup close to his snout, taking in a deep sniff... he let it out, held the shampoo close, then did the same thing all over again, before setting both bottles back down.
"How in the world did he get soap to smell exactly like the real thing?" he muttered, tossing the actual chocolate back into his fridge as he set off towards his shower with the other one. Might as well see what it was like before the weekend came, after all.

Dragonpony Snuggles with Fluttershy
Tinker looked up from his phone, and... yep, this was certainly the right cottage. He let out a weak sigh, then he set off for the door.
Tinker had done his best to clean up, since he was going to be meeting not just one of the elements, but Discord. Discord! Chaos itself! Or however it was that he worked, Tinker tried not to think too hard about it. He'd gone all out on his grooming, even to the extent of heading out to the ponyville spa on friday just to make sure he was good.
All of his thick fur was thoroughly cleaned and fluffy, all of his claws had been trimmed to the perfect length, and he'd even had his horns polished. He didn't even know that was a thing ponies did! His wings had no feathers to be trimmed, but they'd been scrubbed clean anyway. Hell, he even did his best to brush his teeth until they were spotless.
He was even carrying his tail up off of the ground to keep it from getting dusty, which had turned out to be harder than he expected it to be. Of course, most of the trip between his house and Fluttershy's cottage had been through the air, which made things easier.
As he lifted a paw to knock on the door, it suddenly swung open, and Tinker looked in... and then up, at the grinning Draconequus standing just inside. "Well, come on in~!" Discord said, as he moved aside for Tinker.
The dragonpony sheepishly said "I uh, thanks..." as he stepped inside, ears curiously perking up as he looked around Fluttershy's cottage. As he looked towards the doorway to her living room, he laid his eyes on the pegasus he'd come to see, and she smiled as she waved happily towards him. "Come on in!"
Tinker trotted into the room, giving her a shy smile in return. "Hi there...! I hope I'm on time, flying here was a bit more than I'm used to going..." he said, letting his wings unfold a little at his sides.
"Oh, it's okay..." Fluttershy said, as she walked over to him. She walked in a slow circle around the stallion, quietly saying, "So interesting... I can tell which parts of you come from us ponies, and which parts come from the dragons..."
Tinker rubbed his snout a little, saying, "Well... my Mom's the dragon, and my dad, he's the pony..." He held still as the mare had her look, and once she was in front of him again, she tilted her head slightly.
"Are your teeth as sharp as they look?" she curiously asked, "Sorry if it's weird to ask that one..."
"Oh, uh, aaaahhhhh...." He said, letting his mouth hang open for her. He couldn't help but be a little amused as she murmured to herself about canines and molars, before saying "Wow, your teeth really take after other dragons, and your tongue too!"
Discord was lounging on the couch by now, and he couldn't help but chuckle as he said "Be thankful, by the way, that it's not Twilight you're seeing... I'm sure that mare would be ten pages into a research paper by now, heheh..."
Fluttershy couldn't help but giggle, saying, "She is so scholarly... and, thank you for humoring me by the way..." she added, holding out a hoof.
Tinker shook her hoof, and then he let her hold his paw for a bit as the pegasus got somewhat sidetracked looking it over, whispering to herself something to do with his claws.
As she let his paw go, she said, "You can sit if you want...", while she trotted out towards the kitchen. Just then, Tinker picked up on the whistle of a tea kettle, and Fluttershy's voice as she chirped "Aha, just on time!"
Soon enough, Fluttershy was trotting back into the room, and she set down the teapot and some cups on the table in front of the couch. After she gave him a cup of the tea, Tinker sat on the chair somewhat like a cat might, with his tail curled around in front of his paws. Once she had the other two cups poured, Fluttershy chose to snuggle up to Discord on the couch.
"It's really nice out here, by the way..." Tinker said, taking another look at the mare's house. "Makes it feel like we're somewhere else other than right next to ponyville..."
As Tinker took a curious sip of the tea, Discord couldn't help but chuckle, saying, "Well, that can be arranged..."
"Oh, please, don't mess around with dimensions when we're having lunch..." Fluttershy huffed. "And thank you, Tinker... I'm not sure if you'd like them or not, but I made sure that cucumbers were safe to eat before I made these" she said, pointing with a hoof to the platter of cucumber sandwiches before she gently took one near the edge.
After a second swig of tea, Tinker held up the cup a little, saying, "And this is really good by the way! I'm not used to drinking tea like this... and the sandwiches, I don't remember the last time I had one, but..." Tinker said, horns illuminating as he picked up one of the sandwiches. Unlike fluttershy, he only needed four bites to eat one of them, horns going dark again as he smiled and licked a speck of food off of his snout. "Pretty good, actually...!" He said.
Fluttershy softly giggled, then she said, "Well I'm glad you like the tea! And if I can ask, do you happen to eat meat, like a dragon would? Or perhaps gemstones?"
Tinker looked slightly uncomfortable for a moment, but he said "Well, I can't bite into gemstones, and they don't taste like much to me... I haven't tried swallowing any of them yet, so I dunno if they'd digest or not, but I ah, I do eat a lot of meat, yeah..."
Waving her hoof slightly, Fluttershy said "Don't worry about me, I'm... well, at first, I was heartbroken to learn that a creature could eat other creatures, but with time I've come to respect the cycle of life here in Equestria" she quietly hummed. "Some animals will get sick if they try to survive on a diet of fruits and vegetables, not to mention the types of batponies who have to drink blood!"
Curiously tapping his snout, Tinker said, "Is... is it true that some of them eat only fruit instead?"
Fluttershy's eyes lit up as she said "Oh, of course! Not only do I, eheh, have my own experience with such a thing, but fruit-batponies get along just fine only eating all sorts of fruits! By far though, there's nothing they love more than mangoes... I'm not entirely sure why, but I've planted a few mango trees around, just for them, I let them pick as many as they want, anytime they want".
"Cool..." Tinker softly said, after finishing a second sandwich. "With fruits... hmm... I like grapes, watermelon is good but messy, and peaches are really good too..."
"My favorite is, well, Apples... and I suppose Mangoes as well, but I leave most of them for my batpony friends" she hummed. Drinking down the last of her tea, she set down the cup, and she giggled a little bit as Discord summoned forth a set of wings on his teacup just to fly it down to the table.
The tea from the cup was left floating in the air, and rather than drink it, Discord simply closed his mouth over it as if taking a bite out of the air itself. "I've suggested we plant a tree that grows only baked goods so we can attract some of Ponyville's other wildlife, but she seems to be so very against that idea..." Discord said, only to let out a laugh as Fluttershy gave him a tiny little bap on the snout.
"It's not like that, you... goofus..." She said with a soft giggle. "And I noticed, your horns... do you actually possess pony magic?" She asked curiously.
Tinker nodded, saying, "Oh, yeah, I have some sort of odd blend of pony magic and dragon magic... in my horns, it's all the pony magic, but I can breathe fire like a dragon, and I've uh... I've had an incident or two with greed magic as well, but never to the extent that other dragon did that one time..."
"Oh, Spike, I still remember that day..." Fluttershy said with a bit of a wide-eyed look. "Is your fire green...?"
Tinker cleared his throat, then after turning his head away from anything flammable, he spewed a somewhat large, though brief plume of fire into the air. He coughed up a bit of smoke afterward, but that was all as he watched Fluttershy gently tap her hooves together.
"Oh, beautiful...! So it's orange, closer to natural fire... so far, I've seen green, orange like yours, but also blue!" Fluttershy chirped. As she spoke again, he took the time to drink down the rest of his tea, before setting down the glass.
As he did, the mare let out a yawn, and she stretched a little against Discord, who looked down to briefly nudge her with his snout. "Oh, yes... did you decide whether you'd mind joining us for a bit to cuddle...?"
Tinker's cheeks began to redden just slightly, but he gave her a sheepish nod, watching as the Pegasus slid her way off of the couch. "Well, I prefer the bed... do you happen to take naps, Tinker? I've found it's easiest to simply invite someone in for my midday naptime, and then they can head back home all refreshed for the rest of their day..."
Tinker shrugged as he got off of the chair, stretching a little bit. "Sounds uh, fine with me, really..." He followed the pegasus as she made her way up a set of stairs, before nudging open a door to reveal her bedroom.
"Well, you go ahead and climb on first" She said, giving him a gentle nudge with her wing. Tinker awkwardly climbed onto her bed, laying down on his belly. Fluttershy took to the air for just long enough to clear the bed, and once her hooves came to rest on the covers, she gave him another gentle nudge, so he would lay on his side.
Tinker hesitated before lifting his front and back legs somewhat, and Fluttershy just smiled as she said "Oh, perfect!" The mare laid down, then she scooted her way back against Tinker. The mare's flanks fit snugly between Tinker's thighs, and her back came to rest against his chest.
A tiny discord shimmered into appearence with a small pillow, then he pushed it up against Tinker's neck. Fluttershy laid her head on the pillow, then she let out a happy sigh as the mare allowed her body to go somewhat limp. There was some hesitation from Tinker, but he listened to his instincts as he slowly bent his body until he was curled around Fluttershy, wrapping his front legs around her barrel as his tail coiled around one of her hind legs.
He even opened one of his wings, laying it overtop of the mare like a blanket. It seemed to make her happy, at least, as she said, "Oh, that's a wonderful idea...!" Once Tinker was done moving, he let his own body go limp like Fluttershy had done, letting his breath out in the form of a long, quiet sigh. The mare quietly giggled, then she said, "You're so warm, and soft too... and I never expected you, hehe, to smell like chocolate too..."
To his surprise, Tinker felt weight on the bed behind him again. Without a word, Discord joined the snuggles. Being much taller... or perhaps longer, than TInker, Discord was able to cuddle up to the stallion's back much like he had done to fluttershy, and he even did his best to put his arms around the two ponies as well. Tinker's tail had coiled around his and fluttershy's right hind legs, so Discord's tail curled itself snug around Tinker and Fluttershy's left hind legs instead.
Fluttershy's head was resting against Tinker's neck from below, and Discord laid his head to rest against the back of Tinker's head, before a low chuckle finally rumbled forth from the Draconequus' throat. "I never said that I wasn't going to participate, you know..." he murmured, using his magic to pull a blanket over the three of them. Once they were all tucked in, Discord joined the others in relaxation as he let his body go limp, a soft breath escaping his lungs.
"No, it's... I don't mind at all, Discord..." Tinker quietly said, letting his eyes slide closed. He wasn't used to taking naps, but right now, he certainly felt like it. Fluttershy was already asleep, the yellow pegasus breathing so quietly that he could barely hear it. Not like he had to, he was already able to feel her chest rising and falling since he had his front legs hugging the mare close to him.
Much like Discord was holding him from behind... and oddly enough, Tinker really didn't mind. Sure, Discord liked to mess with ponies, and even though it was two different kinds of fur he could feel, both parts of Discord's body were still soft and fluffy, just like himself. To his surprise, As tinker began to grow tired, he felt Discord's head move, before the Draconequus gave him, of all things, a soft, affectionate nuzzling to the side of his neck.
"Thank you, Tinker" He murmured, his voice nothing more than a whisper. "It makes her so happy to meet new creatures, and nothing... makes me happier, than seeing that smile of hers" he said, with the faintest little waver of emotion infesting his words. As Discord laid his head back down, Tinker couldn't help but smile, even as a tear or two threatened to escape from his eyes.
He hadn't really trusted Discord before, but seeing the way that he and fluttershy truly cared for each other, now Tinker understood. He was happy for them, and on top of that, he'd gained quite a lot of trust towards the Draconequus.
Discord snuggled just a little bit closer to Tinker, and in turn, Tinker curled just a little bit more around Fluttershy. As Discord relaxed again, he let out another soft chuckle, and his voice was a low, amused hum as he said "By the way...? Heheh... nopony will ever believe you".
Tinker let out a quiet little snort, then he whispered "Glad I could help, Discord, really...", his words somewhat slow as he tried to hold off the approach of sleep. The dragonpony couldn't hold on forever, and the last thing he would remember before drifting off to sleep was the softness of Flutteshy's chest fluff on his paw, and the soft touch of Discord's snout as the Draconequus nuzzled him one last time.
The guy was right, though. Who in their right mind would believe that Discord liked to cuddle?
