Universe 50. Mirados. The Mirados Circuit. Day.

A massive whirlpool was formed after Alpha fired a Quantum Cannon. The Quantum Outburst exploded upon impact with Goodra, causing Spike and everyone in the immediate area to brace for a shockwave of energy. As the explosion died down, Spike opened his eyes. He was relieved to see that Goodra was still in one piece.

"Goo..." But the damage was very much visible. Goodra used a majority of his body to shield the other Pokemon from harm, all that Quantum Energy was now coursing through him, burning through his slimy scales, his body in immense pain. Goodra was very much on the verge of collapse, having taken the brunt of this explosion while Spike watched in disbelief. "Goodra!"

"Go..." He couldn't even speak, his eyes were fading. This whirlpool was only getting bigger and stronger. Goodra, along with all the Pokemon that he had protected, was about to get swept up by this thing and who knows where he was gonna end up?

If anything, Spike knew he had to stay by his friend's side, even in this situation. So, Spike did just that. The whirlpool finally caught up with Goodra and the others, swallowing them all and bringing them into its depths. As they went down, they could feel the pressure and force of the water increasing, pulling them down deeper into the depths. They were being swept away from the racers, and their fate was unknown.

"Spiiiiike!!" Twilight shouted. She and the others had witnessed the entire scene from a distance. They could only imagine what was going on down there.

"Twilight! We have to hurry! Spike's down there!" Rainbow Dash shouted, pointing towards the direction of the massive whirlpool. They were getting farther away from it. They needed to act fast. Rarity nodded and the racers followed, heading straight for the whirlpool. It was a difficult task, the water was violent and they were being thrown around. It was only made harder with the debris and rocks falling from the hole. As they continued towards the whirlpool, Rarity could feel her anxiety building up. She didn't know what to expect when she got there, or what she could do to help.

"Dracovish! Go after him!" Ash would throw a Poke Ball, sending his Pokemon to chase after his friends. Dracovish was fast, but the whirlpool was growing larger and faster, so it was difficult to keep up. The Pokemon swam as quickly as he could, but it seemed as though he wouldn't be able to catch them in time. They had to get to Spike and the other Pokemon as soon as possible before it was too late. He wouldn't let anyone get swallowed by that whirlpool, no matter what. He wouldn't fail another friend like that. Dracovish would never stop until they found their friends and saved them from whatever danger they were facing.

Spike would find himself in an unknown location. It seemed to be an underground area, a large cavernous area filled with large stalactites and stalagmites, along with water. Spike would wake up, finding that he was on a small island in this massive underground cave system.

"Spike?" Spike looked behind him and saw Goodra. "Goooo..." Goodra was still in immense pain from all the Quantum Energy that had coursed through his body. "Spike..." Goodra said weakly. He couldn't believe that he had done something so reckless.

"It's okay, Goodra. We'll find a way out of here, don't worry." Spike reassured, taking a Poke Ball out. For assistance, he sent out his Druddigon to help carry Goodra.

Goodra nodded, he was relieved to hear that Spike wasn't mad at him. They needed to find a way out of here, but Goodra was too injured to help. Goodra looked at Spike, who was looking around, trying to find a way out. He could see how determined Spike was and knew he could rely on him. They would get out of this together, somehow. He knew it.

"Drudd. Druddigon would help Goodra up, wrapping his claw around his friend to help support him.

"We'll find a way out of here, don't you worry." said Spike.

Goodra would look around at all the Pokemon who had gotten trapped down here as well. A Mudkip, a Magikarp, a Chinchou, and even a couple more Dracovish were all in the cave system. It looked like the Dracovish had already tried to find a way out but were unable to.

Spike could sense the frustration coming from all of the Pokemon, especially Goodra. "Hey, don't worry about it, buddy." He said, trying to cheer him up. "We're all here, we're all going to get out of this mess. I'm sure Ash and everyone are already on their way."

The cavern was dark, dank and humid. There was a constant, steady drip of water coming from the stalactites above, and the sound echoed off the walls of the cave. Spike could see that there was a small stream running through the middle of the cave. The stream was fed by the water coming from the stalactites, and the water was clear and fresh. He took a small sip from it and was pleasantly surprised at the taste. He looked at the cave and noticed there were a few exits from it.

Spike decided to explore one of them, taking the lead and helping his Pokemon friends as he went. It was dark and cold in the cave, and the air had an oppressive smell that made Spike's stomach churn. He kept his head low, his eyes fixed on the floor as he trudged forward, the sounds of the other Pokemon echoing behind him.

After walking through a tunnel for a while, Spike saw something glimmer in the distance. As he got closer, he realized that the shimmering light was a reflection from a pool of water. As he got even closer, Spike could see that the water was clear and seemed to sparkle in the darkness.

Spike looked around the room, noticing that there was a large crack in the ceiling. He moved towards it, hoping to find a way out. He looked up to see that there was an opening above. It was a long shot, but it was his only chance.

He was about to make his move when he heard a noise. It was a sound he had never heard before. It sounded like a deep, guttural growl. Spike looked back and saw a giant figure approaching him. He couldn't make out its shape in the darkness, but its presence filled the cave. It was a creature that Spike had never encountered before. It was huge, towering over him.

This world wasn't just home to Pokemon. It was also home to other mystical creatures and one of these creatures revealed itself. A massive, green draconic monster, a Sea Wyvern, would fly in front of the group and let out a loud, high pitched roar, a signal that it was ready for battle. Spike was the one to challenge this creature.

The Wyvern's wings were tattered and ripped in some places. There was no fur on them, only a thin layer of scaly skin that looked like it had been damaged by years of use. Its scales were a deep, aquamarine. It was huge and muscular, its body covered in scales that glistened like wet moss. Its legs were thick and muscular. The creature had two large, red eyes that gleamed in the dark. Spike and his Pokemon had never encountered such a creature before. They knew they were in for the fight of their lives.

Spike looked at Goodra and the others. "Druddigon and I can take this thing on. Stay back and rest." Spike uttered. If they were all going to find a way out, they needed to get past any obstacle such as this one.

Druddigon roared and charged at the creature, striking at it with its claws. Spike and his friends were in a cave filled with monsters. The Sea Wyvern flew toward Druddigon and slashed at him with its talons.

Goodra, Spike and the other Pokemon watched in awe. Goodra looked at Spike, who was staring at the battle. "Gooo..." Goodra said in concern.

"Don't worry. I know what I'm doing. You have to trust me. We'll find our way out of here and get back in the race. Druddigon! Use Metal Claw!"

"Drudd!" Druddigon roared, lunging at the Sea Wyvern with a metal aura around his claws, striking against its scales with all of his strength.

The wyvern let out an agonising scream as its wings flapped in an attempt to shake off the pain. It was clear that Druddigon had done some damage, but the wyvern wasn't giving up.

Spike was focused, watching Druddigon attack. He was worried that the wyvern would overpower him.

The Sea Wyvern was clearly angry. It screeched and flew around, trying to hit Druddigon.

"Use Sludge Bomb!"

"Druddigon!"

The Sea Wyvern screeched, flapping its wings as it hovered. From his mouth, poisonous projectiles shot out from the ground, heading right towards the monster. The poison bombarded the creature, slamming against it, striking it and making it crash onto the ground. It was now on the ground and had a difficult time trying to fly.

Druddigon knew what he had to do.

Druddigon charged towards the creature, his claws shining with metal aura, he struck against the creature and made a large cut against its chest.

The wyvern screamed and thrashed. The Metal Claw proving to be rather potent.

"Now, Druddigon!" Spike yelled. "Use Scaleshot!"

"Drudd!" Druddigon roared. From his body, multiple of his scales would be unleashed, glowing vibrantly and flying out aggressively towards the Sea Wyvern.

The array of blasts hit the creature, knocking it back and sending a blast of light that illuminated the entire cave. The Sea Wyvern screamed and thrashed, its tail whipping wildly.

Spike looked at Druddigon. "Finish this, Druddigon! Use Fire Punch!"

"Gon!" The dragon roared in agreement and began to charge towards the wyvern. The dragon punched the creature right on the head, making it screech loudly and fly away, leaving a trail of smoke and fire in its wake. Victory belonged to Spike and Druddigon. He had won. Against the might of Druddigon, the Sea Wyvern was unable to snag victory.

Spike looked at Goodra. "See? I told you it'd be okay."

"Goo."

The other Pokemon nodded and looked around. The cavern had become much darker, and it seemed that they had been left behind. "Goo!" Goodra called out.

Spike sighed and nodded. He and his friends walked to the back of the cave where a large opening was. Spike looked back at his friends. "Well, we'd best be going and find our way back to the race."

As the group continued through the caves, they found themselves in an area that seemed to have a natural source of heat. Steam rose from the rocks and the walls. Suddenly, the sound of heavy breathing was heard from the nearby shadows, causing everyone to turn. It sounded exactly like the Sea Wyvern from before. Spike wondered if had returned for revenge. But it was far more than that.

In the distance, they all saw not one, not two, not three...but 40 Sea Wyverns, all surrounding them. It was at least 20 in the cave, including the one that Spike and Druddigon defeated. It was at that moment, Spike's jaw dropped and his eyes widened in shock. The Sea Wyvern had returned for vengeance, bringing the rest of its kind, a horde of Sea Wyvern's. All the other Pokémon started to back off in terror. This was beyond bad. This was a catastrophe.

"Goo...."

"Oh no. This is not good. This is not good at all." Spike muttered, looking at the 20 monsters. With all 20 Sea Wyverns present, Spike and his team would a very difficult chance of defeating them all. Spike looked back at the petrified Pokemon before taking out two more Poke Balls to engage with the Sea Wyverns.

However, he wouldn't have to do so. Not with the help that came from above.

"Dracovish, use Dragon Rush!" Ash's voice, called from afar, an intense, powerful burst of energy unleashing, blasting down and crashing the cave, breaking apart the stone, and the dust would spread, engulfing everything in sight, clouding the vision of every Pokemon in the vicinity.

Ash had arrived with Dracovish, steadying his hoverboard as he managed to reach Spike in time to help him. As the dust settled, Ash held his hand out, prompting Spike to come with him. He knew the way out of this area. "Come on, Spike! Let's hurry!"

"R-Right!" Spike would promptly return Druddigon and Goodra to their Poke Balls and hop on to the Dracovish. All the other Pokemon still had to be saved and thankfully, Ash had a response to this predicament. By sending out his Dragonite, all the other Pokemon could be easily carried. It also helps that Dragonite is wonderful at swimming, having aquatic elements within her. So she'd swim her way through, helping the others too.

"Let's go, Dragonite." Ash instructed, pointing at the exit that the dragon could spot. Now was not the time to dally. She had to leave the cave and get the Pokemon to safety. As for the 20 or so Sea Wyverns, they would follow in hot pursuit.

Dragonite would carry the other frightened Pokémon, using her own speed to propel herself and the Pokemon forward. While she was doing that, Dracovish, would use its feet to boost itself to speeds never imagined before, moving swiftly and carrying Spike, zooming ahead of the rest of the group. The water splashing against his sides. Despite the danger, there was an exhilaration that came from the thrill of the ride. Behind him, the Sea Wyverns would chase, flying in a V formation. They were gaining fast. If Dragonite or Dracovish couldn't keep their pace up, they'd catch the lot of them in their sharp talons.

"Come on, we're almost there!" Ash said to Spike and his Dracovish. He was determined to help the duo, knowing that they needed to get past the ocean and into the next obstacle. "We have to make sure that those sea wyverns are dealt with. Then we'll have to deal with whatever is coming up next."

"Yeah, I gotcha." Spike nodded in understanding.

The 20 or so wyverns were still in pursuit. Ash would call to his Dragonite and instruct her on a course of action to deal with them once and for all. The 20 would circle around, attempting to surround and block the exits of both Pokemon and their partners. They'd then unleash their attack. Poison breath would pour from their maws, cascading out in an attempt to ensnare and knock the dragons and their passengers to the ground, but this was a trap that the two were more than happy to fall for. A

At the last moment, Dragonite and Dracovish would take a hard stop, the momentum carrying the wyvern past and entangling them in their own noxious vapors, the poison would begin to affect their lungs and send them spiraling towards the bottom of the river, sinking and falling to their defeat.

They'd struggle and thrash in an attempt to get away from each other, their attempts futile in the face of their shared toxin, the poison seeping into their scales and suffusing them, causing them to lose their strength and pass out. Their wings would slow their flapping, eventually becoming limp, leaving only the soft sounds of the currents to guide their bodies to the murky depths. At that moment, the threat of the 20 would finally be put to an end. There would be nothing left to do except continue onwards and finish the race. They'd have a bit of catching up to do.

With the battle won, the duo would resurface, being behind in the race. Now they had to play catch-up while also outpacing the Arcane Institute. Without wasting anytime, they accelerated, Ash having Spike on his back since he lost his own vehicle, the two continuing to traverse across the ocean waters.

The next section of the Mirados Circuit was an area known as the Spiral Fields.

The name is apt, because it is a field full of various, spinning objects. Some are stationary, while others are in constant motion, with a few moving at high speeds. In fact, the entire area is in motion, constantly shifting and reconfiguring itself in an unpredictable manner, providing a dizzying experience to anyone brave enough to navigate it.

That is to say, the track was filled to the brim with rotating and spinning obstacles, some of which moved faster than the others, and would change position without notice.

As a result, the path would lead to many unexpected detours, forcing riders to veer off their desired course. To add to the challenge, the course is designed in a way that the racers have to be in sync with their mounts, otherwise they would have difficulty traversing the frantic terrain.

It requires great skill to maneuver the ever-shifting maze of obstacles and avoid collisions, making the competition a test of both agility and teamwork. Even the most seasoned racer may find their nerves tested by the twists and turns of the Spiral Fields. Nonetheless, it is a beloved part of the Celestial Circuit, offering a unique challenge that keeps the competitors on their toes and the audience on the edge of their seats.

The first of the three sections to be encountered in the Celestial Circuit is a large expanse of land that stretches from one horizon to the other. This is an enormous and expansive region, consisting of hundreds of acres of verdant greenery and lush vegetation, dotted with a myriad of rolling hills, tall trees, and meandering streams. The landscape is a patchwork of fields and meadows, forests and valleys, each with its own distinct flora, Pokemon and fauna.

Each of the participants would have their own method of dealing with the course, whether that be a combination of aerial and terrestrial navigation, or purely focusing on the sky or ground.

Twilight looked back, wondering if Ash and Spike had made it out of the underwater section yet. She couldn't afford to slow down for them. She, Rainbow Dash and Applejack had to keep moving to outpace the Arcane Institute and its dangerous students and teachers. With a frown on her muzzle, Twilight pressed on, looking ahead and trying to forget that Ash might've been hurt somewhere in that cave. It wasn't worth the risk. She'd have to hope that he was safe.

But her sad thoughts were promptly interrupted by the sudden appearance of the BlueLight Sisters on their vehicles. "Hey there, Twilight!" Flawless bellowed with a devious smile on her face, her long mane flowing in the wind. Her sisters would giggle at her side, their faces twisted in a mixture of smugness and malice. But none of the four were prepared to hear the following words, which were like daggers in their ears. "Where's your boyfriend?"

"You recognize me!?" Twilight Sparkle gasped, her disguise not being as flawless as she hoped. "But how?!"

"I sensed your Aura. Duh." Flawless simply used the power of Aura to her advantage, easily finding out Twilight's Aura. "Too bad for you, you're not finishing this race at all. You're coming back with us to the Institute!" And so, the trio unleashed their magical assault on the team, intending to destroy their vehicles and kidnap Twilight for themselves.

Despite the heavy bombardment of magical beams, the group was able to dodge the majority of their attacks. But a single hit to Twilight's hoverboard sent a shudder of panic through her body.

The Sisters laughed as they continued to rain magic bolts at their prey, their malicious grins showing their pleasure at the suffering of their foes. "Hold on, Twilight!" Rainbow Dash acted fast, throwing one of her Poke Balls into the air. "Go, Altaria!"

"Altaria!"

"Use Ice Beam!"

"Tari...!" Altaria opened her beak, a chilling aura of ice forming as she aimed at the three sisters and their vehicles. Soon, the ice spread over the metal and caused it to lock in place. Unfortunately, the freezing effect didn't hold on the vehicles for too long.

As the ice melted and cracked, the trio would turn their attention to Altaria and use a series of spells and curses to bring her down. Their efforts were successful, causing her to fall to the ground below, her feathers covered in dust and debris from the impact of the magical barrage. "T-Tari!"

"No, Altaria!" Rainbow cried out, returning her to her ball and sighing in sorrow, turning her head towards the BlueLight Sisters, eyes filled with fury and rage. "Why you...!"

"Hm-hm." Phantasia smirked, keeping a cocky smile while Violet snickered. However, Violet soon felt dizzy due to her fear of fast-moving vehicles, promptly moving back into her seat for a brief break.

"Ya'll won't be laughing after this! Golurk!" Applejack would try next, sending forth the Automaton Pokemon, the large, golem-like creature rising up in front of the trio, its eyes burning with an eerie gold light. Using his jet boosters, Golurk would be able to keep up with the vehicles while also assisting from above. "Shadow Punch!"

"Gol!" Pulling its arm back, Golurk's limb would suddenly disappear, appearing behind the vehicle where Flawless was riding and aiming a shadowy punch right at the rear of the vehicle, hoping to damage it and send the unicorn flying.

"Flawless!" The other two called in worry. The leader was able to dodge the Shadow Punch, only barely. With a grunt, Flawless tried her best to stabilize the Aerial Car, getting a small headache in the process.

"Urgh..." The Elder Sister groaned, holding onto her head. "As if I'd let you get away with that. That was so-not the right move to make." Her eyes would glow a deep blue along with her horn, preparing a spell. She would unleash a flurry of blue energy blasts at the opposing team. Although the others managed to dodge the attack, poor Twilight was caught off-guard. The blasts would collide with her board and cause an explosion that knocked her to the side. Her board spun in the air, leaving her in a helpless daze as her vision became a blur, unable to tell left from right. "Whoa, whoa..."

"Twilight, hang in there, sugarcube!" AJ shouted, watching the fight with a worried look in her eyes. Golurk would continue to battle against the trio, dodging their counterattacks, but the number difference was starting to take its toll, and slowly, the automaton would become slower and weaker.

"G-Gol!"

"Castform, use Energy Ball!"

"Cast!" Castform flew out of Rainbow Dash's saddlebag, taking quick action. With a bright flash of light, a green orb of pure energy formed in the Castform's mouth. He fired the ball at the sisters, and the blast hit Flawless's car dead on, knocking the vehicle back and creating a fiery plume of smoke and fire in its wake.

Phantasia moved her Spectral Flyer forward, shooting directly at Castform. The Weather Pokemon grimaced, narrowly avoiding these rapid blasts thanks to his small body while Applejack moved her vehicle over to Twilight's position.

"C'mon, Hang in there. Are you alright?"

"I-I'm fine. I'll manage." The Princess replied, trying her hardest not to collapse in pain, but her wounds were proving to be a real obstacle, her wings having taken the worst of the damage, and the bruises were becoming visible. With a nod, AJ helped Twilight aboard her vehicle, giving her some room.

Flawless wouldn't give Twilight the chance to keep moving, promptly shooting out magical chains to try and restrain Applejack's vehicle. Golurk spotted this, promptly using Stone Edge to intercept the chains. "Lurk!" From its hands, multiple crystals descended at high speeds, breaking through the chains and saving the two equines.

As they were clashing with each other during the race, the obstacles of the Spiral Fields got involved in their battles. Violet Violet had to move her Spectral Flyer over stone column and duck beneath the branch of a tree, all the while her fear of fast-moving vehicles was growing. Phantasia was swerving around trees, her concentration slowly falling apart. And at the end of the track was the biggest and meanest obstacle yet: an enormous dragon-shaped rock that would block the entire road.

The racers had no choice but to change the trajectory of their ride and fly in between the dragon's open jaws, making the task much more dangerous. The BlueLights were still focusing on the chase and the battle, their sights fixed solely on the girls and their Pokemon.

They didn't care about anything else. All that mattered to them was catching Twilight and returning her to the Institute. It was clear to see that the BlueLight Sisters didn't have a sense of self-preservation, and that made them even more dangerous to fight.

"We're gonna lose 'em, c'mon! Let's shake those losers and get the heck out of here!" Rainbow exclaimed, her face was flushed from excitement and her eyes sparkled brightly. The group continued on their way. While the race was intense, the thrill of competition was something that Rainbow couldn't resist, and it showed on her face as they raced to the next section of the Spiral Fields.

However, it was not going to be that easy. Not for Twilight's friends, the Institute or even the other racers. The Spiral Fields had one massive obstacle they all had to get through. The Pokemon that would get in their way.

In this case, a plethora of Torterra were their next challenge. Many were sleeping and laying in the sun, which would make their shells very hard and resistant to attacks, but the skin and the trees that grew from the shell were vulnerable, especially to a fire type's moveset.

But what really mattered was that these Torterra were absolutely massive. They had a mystical magic energy around them that allowed their bodies to reach gigantic sizes. So much that they took the space of entire islands and the land was the same. Getting past one would not be an issue.

But a group of Torterras blocking the way? This would certainly prove to be a difficult trial. But not as difficult as the one behind them all. Alpha was catching up fast on her upgraded vehicle, her Quantum Cannon already recharged. She saw all the Torterra in the way, seeing that they would slow all the racers down. She could use this to her advantage, but she also knew that Ash was far behind.

Alpha had a choice to wait for Ash, but she knew he wouldn't make it that easy for her. So, a second option came into play. She was going to blast through all those Torterra to press on as well as taking out a majority of the racers.

"Let's cut down the competition while also knocking out Twilight Sparkle. There's far too many of them Fire the Quantum Cannon once more." Alpha bluntly said.

"Uh, the BlueLight Sisters are in the way. Shouldn't we get them out of the way first?" A student asked.

"We will. But prepare it regardless. I'll make sure they're not in the way."

"...If you say so." One of the students in the back sighed, beginning to prep the cannon and charge it up to fire a massive blast. The glowing of the cannon attracted the attention of the racers in the back, their eyes widening. The Quantum Energy started building up rapidly, Alpha's eyes locked onto Twilight's group, ready to aim and knock her and her group out of the race and take the Alicorn out in one swoop. Alpha refused to let a single mission go to waste, no matter what.

The energy kept growing and growing, showing that this next blast was about to be massive compared to the last, potentially threatening to take down anything in its path.

"Fire." Alpha ordered, and the gun fired, a massive quantum energy beam erupted from the cannon, flying straight towards the Torterra. As soon as it collided with the giant Pokémon, the force of the explosion sent a shockwave ripping across the field, sending everyone nearby tumbling backwards and off balance.

"TOR!" The Torterra were thrown to the side, knocked out cold and their bodies scattered. Some were in bad shape, their shells broken and others were badly burned from the sheer heat and intensity of the beam, the Torterra cried out in pain, the sound of their anguish filling the air.

But the aftermath was what mattered the most. The Quantum Outburst and shockwave eclipsed the Torterra while disrupting every single vehicle. All vehicles would have their functions scrambled, and the cars would fall to the ground, the Flyers would lose altitude and crash, and the Boards would suddenly stop working, forcing their users to roll on their wheels until stopping completely.

All those watching the race from the stadium gasped, the racers having been slowed down, their vehicles coming to a halt and falling. Pendence watched with her eyes narrowed, a bit bothered by that. She didn't exactly want that kind of outcome, but she would keep watching out of intrigue.

Alpha's vehicle was the only one moving now as she approached Twilight Sparkle's group. With no emotion, she continued her mission. The injuries of the Torterra, the scrambled vehicles and the mass destruction did not matter to Alpha. She was far too detached from Kimia to care. Even for a slight moment.

As the journey continues.
