My Little Pokémon: Grander World
The Ultalysium Dynasty
Previous ChapterNext ChapterAn Unknown World.
Ash and all those from Mirados arrived in the new realm, completely unconscious. Harmony managed to successfully lead everyone to safety with a new world, avoiding the potential Null Realm. Alas, many of Mirados's citizens were scattered after being dropped here as well as everyone being out cold, laying on the ground.
Silence filled the area. Everyone was sound asleep, unaware of the change of location. Ash was in the same state, lying on his back on the ground, eyes closed, breathing steadily, and looking quite serene.
But they were very much not alone. A hoof would step in front of Ash's face and another at the side, hooves from a Pony. In front of Ash was a pony, her head was hovering above him, watching him curiously. Her fur was blue like the skies and her eyes a piercing yellow. On her dress, there were three symbols marks, the symbols of a star and moon. The pony seemed to look down at the strange human, observing his features with great curiosity, perhaps trying to understand his species and where he came from. Brock was in the same boat as he looked strange to her as well.
But more importantly, she appeared to be an alicorn.
"Where did these lot come from?" She spoke as multiple hooves would also appear, stopping in front of them all. All of these ponies also appeared to be alicorns. These alicorns were now surrounding the humans. Many were confused by the appearance of the newcomers, their alien and unfamiliar appearances. Others were wary, on guard and cautious of the possible threat they could pose. There were also those who were curious, intrigued and eager to learn about the unknown creatures that had appeared before them.
"Could the Princesses know about this?" A stallion, a dark brown alicorn said to the blue-furred one in the middle. She was silent, her gaze focused solely on the sleeping boy.
"I don't think so." She finally responded. "Then, we can't leave them out in the open." Another unicorn would add, her coat a bright pink, and a mane a mixture of blues. She had a kind of regalness to her. "That is if we can't wake them up." The other alicorn added, stepping forward to the girl that the blue pony was staring at.
"Look at these two. They are the only alicorns here." Attention was drawn to Twilight Sparkle and Harmony. "Perhaps they're princesses as well. Probably came here with their subjects and their strange humanoid pet." One of the alicorns would comment on Ash. With the attention given, the blue pony's focus was brought to Twilight and then to the alicorns.
"Hmmm, indeed." The blue alicorn mumbled in contemplation, as the alicorns murmured and whispered to each other. Some were excited, their eyes gleaming at the prospect of meeting someone from another world, while some of the alicorns seemed suspicious.
"Take them inside." The alicorn ordered and the others quickly nodded, proceeding to help carry everyone to their palace nearby. "And the others." A few alicorns would turn to the large city in the distance. They'd take a moment to discuss amongst themselves on whether or not to bring the citizens to their palace as well. And that is what was decided in the end.
After some had time passed, Twilight Sparkle awoke from her slumber. As her eyes opened, she was greeted by an outstandingly ornately decorated ceiling and the feeling of a soft bed underneath her. Slowly sitting up, she noticed her surroundings. It appeared to be a bedroom, though unlike anything she had seen in the past. This wasn't their home.
"Is anyone here? Hello?" Twilight called out.
As Twilight sat in bed, her door would open up suddenly. Appearing from it were other alicorns. They looked to be maids or servants. They were holding dresses. Twilight's gaze was fixed upon the four strange figures standing in front of her, a mix of curiosity and confusion etched on her face as the group stared at her silently, almost studying her features.
The group was comprised of four alicorn ponies. Their striking features made them stand out in a way that Twilight Sparkle could not yet explain. They each had horns on their foreheads, wings on their backs, and different-colored coats that glimmered like jewels under the light.
"Alicorns...?" Twilight silently said.
"We have been tasked to take care of you." A soft voice came from one of them, the white alicorn who was standing in front of the three, taking the lead. As she stepped closer to Twilight, her posture remained regal and poised. "Please come this way, Your Highness."
"My what now?"
The white alicorn didn't reply, instead turning her head to the door, beckoning her to come forward.
Twilight was in a bit of a shock as to what was going on. But she followed them anyway to not cause trouble or any kind of confrontation. They led Twilight into a long hallway, full of paintings, tapestries, and sculptures cluttering the walls, each telling a story of a different time or place. They were also following in the air above them.
They had finally stopped. In front of Twilight was a pair of double doors with silver and gemstone detailing. These doors were large, almost towering over her. As she drew nearer, a gentle creaking sound signaled that someone else was opening the door from the inside. Twilight was then presented with a room that was filled with an enchanting bath, a room that looked like a dreamy retreat.
"Your bath." The alicorns began, the leader still taking the charge of talking. "And your clothes." As the bath was filling, there were clothes for Twilight on display. Twilight turned to look at them, and she was perplexed by what they had. It looked to be very regal and proper attire. "Your subjects and pet are also in the palace." They added. "And will also be getting cleaned. Your subjects are currently being treated in another room while your pet is getting ready here."
"My...pet? Hold on. I'm still a bit a hazy right now..." Twilight groaned, holding her head.
"Nothing a good bath won't solve. After all, you're an alicorn. You're among friends here. You have nothing to worry about. If there's any questions or concerns you have, you can speak to one of the maids and butlers. Or one of the servants here in the castle. Now, we will not let you keep the others waiting, you need to get ready."
With that said, they left Twilight alone, closing the doors and locking it.
"...I still need an explana- and they're gone." Twilight sighed. "What happened?" Twilight was hesitant, taking another quick glance around the room and spotting Ash. He was unconscious in a large tub. It looked comfortable, but she still didn't feel at ease.
Twilight sight as she approached the tub. She'd sigh in relief before stepping in. "Oh." She'd feel the warmth envelop around her as she felt herself sink in. "Okay, this isn't half-bad, but...What happened? Last thing I remember was a massive gateway sucking everything in. Did that bring us here?"
After a minute of being alone with her thoughts, Twilight tried piecing everything together.
She would then take a shampoo bottle, inspecting the bottles that had different labels for their intended uses and the types of skin or fur. Grabbing the one for ponies, While holding it, her thoughts were still stuck on the alicorns she just met.
"It sounded like I am one of them. But they were all alicorns, I could tell." Twilight was starting to put the pieces together, remembering what they were talking about earlier. Twilight began thinking to herself, trying to put the pieces together.
After Twilight finished washing, she rose from the tub and shook off any remaining droplets. The warmth had been a pleasant escape, but now she faced the reality of whatever was going on outside these doors. She quickly got dressed.
Outside, the four alicorn ponies, now finished their task of preparing the bath and clothing for Twilight Sparkle, were waiting silently, almost motionless. Their expressions remained as unreadable as before, as their eyes followed the pony they had escorted earlier. Then the door would swing open, revealing the alicorn who had bathed herself, and was dressed in the clothing that was prepared for her.
As the doors swung open to reveal the newly bathed and dressed alicorn pony, Twilight was left feeling somewhat embarrassed by her new appearance. She felt strange in the regal outfit the alicorns prepared for her, the colors and designs of which she wasn't quite accustomed to. And yet, at the same time, it seemed to fit perfectly, almost like she was destined to wear it.
The alicorn ponies, recognizing their duty was complete, moved into formation again and started moving with the newly prepared alicorn, escorting her towards another chamber in this grand, unknown castle. Twilight felt compelled to follow her guides once more. The corridors and the surroundings became even more grand as she continued.
"Um, excuse me. W-Where are my friends? And how are you all alicorns?" Twilight asked, wanting some clarification to all of this.
"Ah. You obviously aren't from this world, so you're very much lost. Why, yes. We are all alicorns. Every single one of us. The Ultalysium Dynasty has existed for millions upon millions of years. Our ancestors were all ponies of different tribes. Earth, Pegasus and Unicorn." The alicorn would explain.
"But at a certain glorious point in time, they ascended to become the Alicorn. And from that point on, the population of all ponykind down the road became alicorns. Every pony here is an alicorn, and every alicorn can use every magic known to our race. The three tribes have vanished to make room for a better race. A better species. A superior being. An existence that no mere mortal could ever reach, not even in a hundred lives." She added.
"S-Seriously..." Twilight blinked at such a revelation. "So...everyone in this universe is an alicorn?!"
"Which makes you one of us. It's so wonderful to see another alicorn from another universe. How often does that happen? Never~" One alicorn maid giggled along with the rest.
"And what about my friends?"
"You mean your subjects? Ah, to see earth ponies, unicorns and pegasi again is rather bewildering. We've only ever seen them in history books, and we've learned that we come from those roots. But don't worry, your friends are in a special wing that you yourself may need to see for yourself." They assured, wanting Twilight Sparkle to see the rest of her friends and Ash. This caused the pony's worries to dissipate.
As they made their way towards another chamber, the interior design changed once more. This time, the room looked to have a rich history and was adorned with several lavish ornaments. The ceiling, much like in the grand entryway earlier, had a grand mural.
However, the contents of the painting were different, showing a grand story that told of how alicorns were created and came to be, and showed the history of the entire universe.
Finally, the alicorn maid that spoke up to speak to Twilight earlier started to address her again.
"Now then. There is much for you to know, my lady." They began. "And much for you to get comfortable with. Now that you are here, your role will be decided."
"M-My role?"
"Mhm. Even though we are alicorns, we still take our role. Some of us end up as maids and servants as you can see. Or, even as an alicorn, you can still live as a regular citizen. There is much for you to learn and see. But I will say this: we are in a much better position compared to most worlds." The maid chuckled. "To think that we get to see regular pony tribes, and a human of all beings, with our very eyes is just incredible. It truly brings back the times, if you know what I mean."
The other alicorns would chuckle as they continued escorting Twilight through the massive corridors, taking another left to head down. There were several hallways where some had more guards than others and seemed more active. Others, on the other hand, were as empty and lifeless as can be, though that was an issue that Twilight knew nothing about and couldn't see with the alicorns she was being accompanied by.
Soon enough, the maids stopped at an important door that led to a massive room with several different alicorns standing at a table that had several chairs. As the door swung open and everyone turned to see the entrance of their guest, she was met with another surprise. Not only did the room seem to house many different kinds of alicorns, some being of royal status, but also some being of high status and some that were the same as Twilight. Just a regular alicorn without a royal background.
"Are those the rulers?" Twilight questioned.
"Not quite. The Emperor and Empress are not available right now." One of the alicorns who wasn't part of the maid staff replied, approaching with a kind smile. She seemed to have the air and demeanor of someone very wise. She wore robes and seemed like someone from a higher society than a mere citizen.
"Every nation or kingdom has an emperor or empress. For the alicorns, we have the first emperor and empress." "Another alicorn replied.
"But-"
"Which you will have to ask them directly, I'm sure. When they're ready of course. For now, they are busy." She added, before looking to the alicorn maids. They seemed to get the message as they started leaving without any further orders, leaving the other alicorn in the room with Twilight Sparkle alone.
"Hm. So this is the visitor from another universe. So fascinating. To see another alicorn, of which should have been one of us. Another fine princess or perhaps a queen, if I may add?"
"Or, she could just become another citizen. Perhaps she is one back in her universe." Another alicorn responded. "It doesn't change anything about us or her." He said in a very monotoned, bored voice, suggesting he had been sitting at the meeting hall for quite some time.
"Yes. That is correct, my good fellow. No matter the situation, we should treat her just as she was another alicorn in our world." A male alicorn nodded, looking directly towards Twilight with a smile.
"Wow...to think that we finally have a guest that came here, of all places. The very world that would have the perfect solution for this issue." The alicorns began talking among themselves before Twilight had her questions answered, so she decided to speak up once again.
"What do you mean perfect solution?"
"Your friends, the non-alicorn, have been sent to a wing where they may spend their time. For beings as rare as them, one option has been decided upon."
"By which means that..."
"We've decided to transform them all into alicorns." One of the alicorns replied with a firm voice.
"...W...What?!" She gasped as her eyes went wide. Transform them all into alicorns?! Even though they came here because of that?
"It's rather easy, actually. There are some alicorn artifacts that can make a being an alicorn, as you may already know from back where you came from." They explained.
"So you're going to forcibly transform my friends...into alicorns?! And then send them to your empire?!"
"Not at all, my dear." The leading female alicorn responded back, still smiling. She began approaching the book she was given, as she took a book from the table nearby and looked through its pages before closing it and making eye contact with Twilight.
"The transformation will give them all an option, like I said." She reiterated. "The procedure is painless. If they decide, then they can return to how they were, if not they can remain that way for a limited amount of time, if they please."
"We're giving the option to remain transformed, so to speak, until the situation is under control. So they have to choose whether or not to be an alicorn and help the empire in their situation, or to stay here until things are done, which means there's no real threat from outside the planet." Another alicorn chimed in to make a point.
Twilight bit her lip. How did this make her feel any safer?
"Hang on! This is all happening too fast for me! You can't turn them into alicorns! I mean...I don't think my friends will mind all that much, especially Pinkie Pie but still!"
"Wouldn't being an alicorn solve their issue as well?" They responded as the others listened as to why Twilight Sparkle didn't agree to have them transformed, if not for their safety.
"And I'm pretty sure they'd love living in the empire or serving for the rest of their lives if they decide, right?" The male alicorn added. "After all, being one of us gives you many benefits. You get to be anything and everything, you'll live for thousands of years, you can live in peace with your new form..."
"They have their own lives back in the world that they are from!" She shouted. "Their friends, family, people that care about them and would worry! And are you planning on turning Ash into an alicorn as well?!"
"Ash...? I believe she's referring to the strange humanoid. One of the two." An alicorn spoke. "You need not worry about your pet. He's being kept somewhere special." She added. "The Apex Stadium to be exact." She chuckled.
"A stadium?!"
"For his fight against another creature, of course. Him and the other human."
"Ngh..." Ash groaned, waking up from his sleep to notice his head felt...a little weird, as if he was asleep on the cold hard floor, or perhaps something was stuck to the back of his neck.
When he opened his eyes, he noticed he was on a massive, wide-open field, no, not a field...A giant arena that towered high and had a great, big dome that looked almost endless in length, and it seemed to go on for hours, days, and maybe even years! The sun's rays beamed in from the outside and into this stadium-like structure, reflecting off the ground, and there was even some sort of machine overhead!
Ash tried to sit up, only to notice he felt like a million tons, his legs aching, and his chest feeling tight like he had just done some exercise. But he felt this before. It wasn't a bad feeling. It felt similar to many adventures, as he was trying his best to hold on and not slip out from his handhold.
However, Ash realized what was happening.
"Agh! Wha?! Guys! Everyone?!" He called out to his friends, hoping they were alright.
"Right here, Ash." But the only one here with him was Brock alongside Pikachu. Only these three were in here.
"Man...What happened? Where are we?"
"No clue. All I remember was that gateway pulling us in and..."
Suddenly, they could hear cheering in the distance as the alicorn audience clapped and chattered.
"Where are we? A concert? Or what?" Ash noticed the large crowd that gathered here to see the show. But just as they started clapping and chanting loudly, another sound came into their ears: It was a very familiar sound, and a very loud one at that. They looked in its general direction to see an alicorn in a dark cloak sitting atop a floating podium-like seat in the air, just a few meters away, who then lifted up a device with her magic to speak.
Ash and Brock had no idea what they had gotten themselves into. Compared to their pony friends who were about to ascend into the next level of being a pony. This was truly a universe unlike any other.
As the journey continues.
