My Little Pokémon: Grander World
Bidding the Worst Goodbye
Previous ChapterNext ChapterUniverse 75. The Ultalysium Dynasty. Day.
The aftermath of the All-Seeing being pincered was massive. Massive enough to send all on each side back, levelling the surrounding area. Raleigh fell over, surrounded by all the rubble, but largely unharmed. Cosmic smoke blew across the area as Twilight opened her eyes, a bit winded.
"Ngh.." Raleigh fell over, surrounded by all the rubble, but largely unharmed. Cosmic smoke blew across the area as Twilight opened her eyes, a bit winded.
"What happened...?" The alicorn blinked, trying to register what had just happened. She could feel the warmth of the sun's rays on her face, and the sound of the rocks falling from the impact.
The alicorn looked around, her eyes scanning the area for any sign of the cosmic being. And as the cosmic smoke was clearing, the alicorn could see the All-Seeing was in a weakened state. She was slowly getting up from the ground. Her head hung low, and her body was trembling. It was clear that she had been greatly weakened by the attack. But her form was still intact, showing that her energy was still strong.
Slowly, the All-Seeing would rise from the ground, focusing on Raleigh. "Hah...Mortal filth...! To think that such an insignificant creature could ever hope to defeat me...I am immortal!"
The All-Seeing was indeed still immortal and despite all that damage, she could still stand, albeit with vast damage done to her body. Sparks of energy would come off her, and cracks were present on her armor, especially around the eye. Yet, the All-Seeing was still alive, and she was not going to let anything else stop her from completing her goal.
Her voice would echo throughout the entire place. "YOU ARE NOTHING! DO YOU UNDERSTAND THAT?!" With pure rage, she would move her massive hand, grabbing Raleigh.
"Gh!" Raleigh grunted, being held in her fist, his entire upper and lower body being covered aside from his head. Even after the damage, her strength was still impressive, though not as powerful as before. Still, she was able to hold the prince in her grasp, his body struggling to escape from the cosmic being's grip. "Let. Go. Of. Me...!" He would try to break free, but to no avail.
"You are no threat to me, mortal." The All-Seeing would smirk, her eyes narrowing. She would open her palm, exposing Raleigh to her. "Now, witness my true power and despair!" She would summon a large sphere of cosmic energy in her palm, aiming it directly at him. She was preparing a blast that was going to reduce the boy to dust.
There was no way to dodge or block her attack. He was completely helpless. His Magearna acted quickly, attempting to use Fleur Cannon once more. But the All-Seeing was ready this time, swatting the Pokemon away with her other hand. She would snicker, before focusing her attention back to Raleigh, the orb growing bigger and bigger in her palm.
"I shall enjoy obliterating you!" The energy in the orb became brighter and brighter, the intensity of the blast becoming more and more powerful. It was an enormous ball of energy that was ready to destroy anything in its path.
"H-Help!" Raleigh screamed, requiring help from any of his friends. And as soon as he sent out a cry for help, Alpha, who was clutching her chest thanks to Sombra's interference to her soul from within, heard Raleigh's cry. At that moment, something clicked within her.
The voice of Raleigh resonated with the Soul Clone. A memory flashed through her mind, of the day that Kimia saw her little brother when he was first born. Despite her young age, she was so happy to see him and was full of love. That was her earliest memory. She would look down upon her baby brother's crib, and in her child-like innocence, would call his name, and that would make him smile. And hearing Raleigh's voice, which was similar to his younger self, unlocked a dormant memory in her. A memory that had long since been forgotten, a memory that was locked away in the deepest recesses of her mind.
Alpha would remember Kimia's memories. She remembered the times when she was a child, when she would play with her brother, and the times when they would argue, and the times when they would reconcile. She remembered the times when she would hug him, and the times when she would comfort him, and the times when she would protect him from harm. She remembered the times when she would laugh with him, and the times when she would cry with him, and the times when she would share her secrets with him, and the times when she would keep his secrets.
And even when Alva ended up being the one tutoring Raleigh, manipulating him, Kimia would always worry about him, and would always have some sense of fear that Alva would try to do something to him. So, despite not being able to spend too much time together, she would still have that familial love for him. And after Alva's defeat, they grew even closer.
That's when all those memories that weer flashing in her head rapidly did something that the Arcane Institute would've never expected. In that instance, Alpha acted like Kimia. Specifically, by protecting Raleigh.
"Raleigh!" Alpha's eyes would suddenly flare, promptly having Gardevoir attack. "Use Dazzling Gleam!"
"Garde...Voir!" Mega Gardevoir nodded in understanding and would use a powerful beam of Fairy Energy, aimed right at the sphere. The blast was strong enough to knock the All-Seeing's arm back when she tried swatting it away, the rainbow rays piercing her hands, causing her to lose her concentration and the energy in her palm would dissipate.
"You...!" The All-Seeing snarled, retracting her arm, seeing the holes within it. Her other hand would have its grip open as Raleigh would fall, screaming for his life, but was rescued by Alpha who caught him. Raleigh would find himself in her arms, looking up to her. She would give him a comforting expression.
"Are you okay?!"
"Uhh..." Raleigh would blink, unsure how to process that. But from the looks of her, he was safe. "Kimia?"
"Ngh..." Alpha closed her eyes, gently placing Raleigh down. She would clutch her chest once more, still feeling her main soul being messed with.
The All-Seeing would roar, using her psychic powers to lift many large pieces of rubble, hurling them at the two humans and their Pokemon. Mega Gardevoir would retaliate with her own Psychic, lifting the rubble and launching the debris at the cosmic being's face, cancelling the attacks. But in the end, her power was nothing compared to the All-Seeing's power, and the massive creature would easily overpower her. Her psychic abilities would then tear into the Poke Ball of Alpha's, ripping apart the containment system and freeing her from her imprisonment.
"V-Voir!"
"Foolish mortals...Do you really think that your pathetic attempt at subduing me will actually work? I am immortal. Nothing can destroy me, not even that boy's little trinket." The All-Seeing would growl.
"Gh! Gaaaah!" Alpha got on her knees as something would flare out of her body. Thanks to Sombra, an array of souls suddenly started flying out of her. Hundreds and hundreds of them were coming out of her body and escaping her, going through the sky. Among these souls, were the Pokemon from the Nebel Plateau, the Canterlot and Crystal Empire Guards and the citizens of the Azoth Kingdom. Some of them managed to break free thanks to Sombra.
But they did more than that. Sombra directed the souls, causing them to strike at the All-Seeing. The cosmic entity put her arms up to block these souls, but wasn't prepared for how searing they were, striking her hard.
She hissed at the feeling of these souls crashing into her, her body shuddering. She would stagger backward, her feet digging into the ground. She could feel her strength leaving her. Her cosmic body was starting to crack and weaken, her body shaking and her eyes glowing. She felt herself weakening, and yet she would not yield. She was the one who would be victorious in the end. No matter what. She would not surrender, no matter how many of these pathetic little creatures would come at her. She would not fall, and she would not fail. Not now. Not when she was so close to victory!
And while these souls were hitting the All-Seeing, a handful would hit her eye, cracking it slightly. Eventually, the souls stopped flying out as Alpha managed to restrain the flow. But one final soul managed to break out her body. That being Sombra's soul, which would deal the greatest damage.
Unlike all the other souls that were bright orange, Sombra's were nothing but absolute darkness as it zoomed towards the All-Seeing at insane speeds, colliding with her in a spectacular fashion, causing a large explosion to emerge from the area. This was enough to create a huge hole in the cosmic being's chest, the wound being deep and wide. The damage was immense, and her entire form was shaking from the force of the impact, her body convulsing.
Eventually, the smoke would clear, and the All-Seeing would be seen on the floor, unable to move. She had been rendered immobile, Sombra's soul dealing the most damage to her. She twitched and groaned, her eye pulsating rapidly from all the damage.
And speaking of the souls, after they struck her body, they would return their owners to their physical forms. Sombra would manifest into his original physical form along with all the Pokemon, ponies and humans.
"Oof!" A Canterlot Guard groaned, falling flat on his face, and then getting up. He was just as surprised as the others. They looked around, dazed and confused. "What...?"
All of them would awaken, their heads spinning from the sudden change in their state of being, and the shock of their new surroundings. They certainly weren't in their universe anymore. Sombra was the only one with a clear head, landing on top of the All-Seeing's head.
"Sombra!" Twilight called out. For once, she was actually happy to see him, which was something she never thought would happen. "You saved everyone..."
"I was merely doing what needed to be done." King Sombra leapt off the behemoth as he responded. His horn would glow as he used his magic on the weakened cosmic being, preventing her from moving by placing chains around her. "There are still some souls that I could nto free. I attempted to free all of them, especially Princess Kimia's. But, I ran out of strength, I'm afraid."
"Kimia's..." Raleigh murmured, looking at Alpha, who was on the floor. He walked over to her. "Tha-Thank you. You saved me. But, if you're here, then where is-"
"Urgh..." Alpha's body shook a few times, before her form shifted, returning to its normal state. It was no longer Kimia, but Alpha. She was still struggling to get back on her feet. "...I'm not Kimia."
"Alpha! We'll call this mission early! I'm ordering a retreat!" Professor Gorgar's voice came from her mind. The Profesor saw that the situation was becoming unfavourable, resulting in a retreat of the Arcane Institute.
Due to this, a gateway opened up behind Alpha, the two Betas and Zetas, plus the few unicorn students. They would hop through the portal, which was quickly closing, as the institute was pulling their forces from the battlefield.
Alpha held onto her head, following her allies as she clearly needed time to recover thanks to what Sombra had done. "Wait!" Raleigh called out to Alpha, prompting the Soul Clone to look back. But any part of Kimia that came out of her was hidden back within her once more.
Alpha said nothing, simply continuing on her way, and going back to the Arcane Institute to report on the events that have transpired. And the gate would close, leaving only a handful of folks left. These being the Mane Six, the Humans, the Pokemon, the Ponies and the Azoth Kingdom. As well as a heavily damaged All-Seeing.
"Twilight! Hey, Twilight!" In the distance, rushing to the scene was none other than Ash. Alongside him were Rainbow Dash, Fluttershy, Brock, Nate and Hilda. The latter, still being carried by Samurott.
"...Ash! Everyone!" Twilight smiled once more, running to him and hugging him, their friends following in suit.
"Twilight." Ash said, his Pikachu jumping off his shoulder and nuzzling himself against the Alicorn.
"Pika!" Pikachu cried out with glee.
"Wait...Where's Rarity and Spike?" But Twilight noticed two individuals missing. This entire time, Rarity and Spike have not been seen at all. Pinkie Pie was present, appeaing as a massive monster while the others were their normal selves. But no sign of either an ordinary or massive Rarity or Spike.
"Ugh..." Both the All-Seeing and All-Consuming would groan while still on the ground. Their eyes were no longer glowing, but instead, were flickering. It was like they were glitching, their systems were failing. It was quite odd to see two cosmic entities in such a vulnerable position, with their bodies cracked and broken. They were barely holding on to their lives. "This is not how it is supposed to go...We cannot lose to a bunch of weaklings like you. It is impossible..." The All-Seeing whispered. She could not move at the moment, so she was completely helpless. Her brother was in the same condition, far too bewildered and dizzy thanks to Pinkie Pie's shenanigans.
"Oooh~" Suddenly, Pinkie Pie would jitter, her mane shaking rapidly. Even as a monster, her Pinkie Sense was still active. She could tell that something was about to happen.
"What's wrong?" Ash asked, noticing the strange reaction. Pinkie was starting to shake even harder, the ground trembling. She looked at him and smiled.
"This isn't danger I'm sensing!" Pinkie Pie giggled. "I feel 'em! Rarity and Spike!"
"You can sense them? Where?!" Rainbow Dash exclaimed.
"Hmm...Spike's all the way near that forest. Looks like they've got an Everfree of their own. Rarity' somewhere outside that big palace!" Pinkie Pie looked onward at the main palace of the Ultalysium Dynasty.
"Really?" Ash would turn his attention to the palace, using his Aura to sense Rarity's Aura. Everything went dark for him, soon followed by the collection of many Auras around the area. He ignored the auras of the cosmic entitites which were massive, but weakening. He went further and further, looking as deep as possible. And once he reached the palace, indeed, he sensed Rarity's Aura, along with the Auras of many other Mirados residents.
"Outside huh...Then now should be a good time to do it." said Twilight. She was waiting for Harmony to unleash the massive gateway, but had to make sure everyone was attainable. As long as the gateway was massive enough to encompass a wide area, then the positions weren't all too important. "I say we get out of here!"
"What if Rarity and Spike have been turned into monsters though?!" Fluttershy questioned.
"We'll fix that later! Right now, we should go before things take a turn for the worst." Twilight closed her eyes, using her magic to speak with Harmony via telepathy. "Do it now, Harmony!"
With that, Harmony received the message from afar. With the power of the Cosmic Gate, the Rift's powers and the Black Hole, Harmony would create a massive portal in front of everyone. At first, it was small, but would start to grow in size until it was absolutely gigantic. Bigger than anyone's seen. Even bigger than what the Arcane Institute unleashed back at the Universe 50.
Harmony controlled the gateway to a certain level and specification. She made sure that it would only focus on those who needed it, absolutely ignoring the Ultalysium Dynasty residents. She had enough time to build it up and perfect the specifications. All that was left was to send her friends home.
The gateway would open and the air in the area would swirl in a circular motion. Everyone felt the wind brush against their faces and hair, the sound of the portal getting louder and louder. The very air was being sucked into the rift, and the pull was strong. The force was powerful and the energy of the portal was immense, the sheer power of the gateway causing the earth to quake beneath their feet.
The sky was turning darker and darker, the stars were vanishing, and the horizon was shifting. It was like the world itself was shifting, the fabric of reality was bending, and the laws of physics were breaking. It was like a doorway to the multiverse had opened, and the universe was about to be consumed. But none of that mattered, because everyone was safe and on their way home.
"D-Don't let them escape!" The All-Seeing roared, attempting to break the Shadow Chains. The All-Consuming was far too dizzy to get up while the alicorns present were all unable to do anything, the ferocity of the battle either scatterin them and or knocking them out.
Ash and everyone affected the gateway felt themselves ascending, levitating off the ground. The power was overwhelming, and the feeling of the air being pulled in was incredible.
Princess Solar looked up, seeing her would-have-been husband Raleigh float up
"My Prince!" Princess Solar gasped, reaching her hoof towards Raleigh. "But what about my wedding?!"
"No thanks!" Raleigh wanted nothing to do with this universe whatsoever, and the same was said for the rest of the group. "I'm not marrying you! I don't know you and you don't know me! The only one or me is Hilda!"
"Eh?" Hilda heard this, causing Raleigh to instantly blush.
Those were the last words said as all of them finally passed through, the gateway pulling them all in at the speed of light. They all screamed, feeling their bodies travel at outlandish speeds and straight through the cosmic entryway. Just like that, with Harmony being the last to pass through, everyone not from this universe were gone. Only the residents of the Ultalysium remained.
And for the first time, they tasted absolute defeat.
As the journey continues.
