Rose Ember is employed as Twilight Sparkle's new student. Upon arriving to the castle and making himself comfortable in his own room, an accident in the library results in him uncovering the journal of an unknown stallion left behind long ago. His discovery leads him on a journey to the fabled Dark Matter, a stallion said to hold untold evils in his heart. However, things are not always as they seem. The further Rose plunges into the mystery, the more he and his friends discover about the corruption in the Royal Guard.

This story will involve canon characters like the Mane Six and the princesses, however the main focus will be on my own characters. This story is also LGBTQ+ friendly and has several queer characters. Some of the events might not follow or align with the canon but...this is my story so I don't really care. The cover art was drawn by myself.
