I don't understand
I know a game
Load Full StoryI'm not a smart pony.
Mommy says im smart and can do a lot of other stuff like helping her clean and play our special hide game, but im not smart at least not like mommy.
Now mommy was the smartest person in the whole wide world! She can do a lot of cool things like reading and stuff. She tried teaching Angel how to read but im no good with big words. When mommy sees this she gets sad and tells me that she's sorry which makes Angel confused.
Mommy once told a story about a guard and a princess and how they were supposed to get married. There were flowers, candy, games, and lots and lots of ponies. Before they could though some mean bug thing showed up and tried to stop them. Wanting to fight and save their kingdom they combined their magic into one single blast that sent all the mean bug things away!
Isn't that great?
Mommy only shakes her head.
She tells me that the magic that was sent out traveled far and wide all over Equestria. The magic, itself began to change into something else.
Something bad.
When it hit other ponies it made them want to do bad things. Things that only big grown-up ponies can do.
They did this thing for a while until the magic went away.
Then I was born!
Mommy would always smile when she tells me this. She says that im a good pony and that she was blessed for having such a good colt. After this mommy would then say that unfortunately, daddy wasn't ready and that she was forced to leave her home. When I would frown mommy would assure me that when Daddy's ready we will all become one big happy family.
I can't wait!
Mommy would always agree but not before telling that because of the magic, a lot of older ponies will look down and make fun of us. She tells me that she needs Angel her sweet little colt to be big and strong.
No matter what.
I don't understand why people are mean because of the magic. Or why do we have to sleep outside sometimes and or why the mean ponies will sometimes scream and chase us with big sticks and other things
Mommy says it's a game we play, but whenever we play it she would hold me tight crying while running away.
Sometimes we can't run and the ponies catch us. When that happens mommy and I play a new game.
It's called who can scream the loudest.
Mommy always wins.
I don't scream because mommy says it's bad for your throat.
When it's all over we go home and cuddle on the bed. Mommy tells me more stories about daddy, her, and her mommy. She tells me how happy they were and how she missed them.
I make sure to cuddle mommy and give her all my love so she can feel better.
It always works!
Sometimes I would walk into town and see other ponies. Ponies with big old hearts on the middle of their back just like me. Some are moving around like me and mommy while others don't move so much.
When I ask she says that they are pretending to be worms.
Silly ponies.
Sometimes I would have to hide in the closet or under the bed so that mommy can play with her friends. This is the special hide-and-seek game I told you about.
Sometimes it's quick but other times mommy takes a while to find me. That just shows how good I am at hide and seek.
The trick is to always ignore the noises mommy and the stallion makes. She doesn't tell me but I figured out that they were talking in a way that I can't understand so mommy can figure out where I am faster.
Cheater!
When it's done mommy and I go to eat pizza together. We laugh, play, and chase each other all the way there.
One time I ate a ton of brownies mommy made for me. They were very good but also made me very sleepy.
The last thing I remember before everything went dark was mommy's crying face.
She said she was sorry.
I remember walking up with my tummy hurting a lot. Rolling over I see mommy beside me laying down with something big in her mouth.
She was crying.
I don't like seeing her cry.
When mommy sees me her face goes wide and she makes a funny-looking face before I knew it she was hugging me.
Then I went back to sleep.
I don't know how long it lasted or anything, but when I woke up again mommy was sitting right there waiting for me.
She couldn't stop saying sorry.
At least until she played the game.
The one where she never wakes up.
I don't know why, but after meeting her special friend mommy wouldn't move. It happened when the pony wrapped his hooves around her neck.
I don't like this game, but mommy says that you shouldn't be afraid to try something new.
So I did!
Now the stallion isn't moving either.
I frowned.
I was confused at first, but then I realized that maybe it's a type of game where you need more players.
So that's what I did!
Mail stallions, Neighbors, some of mommy's special friends, and even the fillies across the street!
Every pony I found played the game. So much so that others began to play as well! Now the game is both hiding and finding ponies to play the worm.
Pretty soon I'll catch enough ponies that mommy will finally wake up and when that happens we can find daddy together so she doesn't have to be sad anymore.
We can be a family like she always wanted
Well, this is goodbye for now I have to go before they find me again.
PS,
Did I tell you I made new friends?
They love playing the game.
