Adam's great adventures: Discord in the air

Chapter 1: A new story

Two ponies were sat in the silhouette of the sun as it fell beneath the hills, the brown pony with streaks of blonde in his mane cuddled the purple pony with streaks of pink in hers. He said "I can't really say nor measure how much I love you Twilight, it's impossible because I love you too much." He kissed Twilight on the cheek, she blushed and said "Oh Adam, knock it off, I get that you love me, but I still can't get over what happened."

Adam looked at her and said "Remind me again what happened, I'd like to hear it from you whilst it's peaceful." Twilight sighed and said "Some great magical being transported you to this universe for 5 days, expecting you'd learn nothing. However, you had learned love, friendship and compassion, this must have done something big, something in order to make sure that it would disturb both universes as little as possible."

Adam said "You know, it's not polite to sneak up on ponies or listen to them, they might get the wrong impression." Twilight looked at him and said "Me?" Adam replied "No, the brown pony with the sand timer cutie mark on his flank." Twilight looked behind her and saw the very pony Adam described, his mane was short and spiky. However, Adam had not bothered to look at the pony, Twilight thought "How did he do that, not even looking is a skill I'd like to have."

The pony walked up to Adam and sat beside him, the pony looking at his cutie mark, the Infinity symbol. He said "Hello I'm-" Adam cut him off "The Doctor, Doctor who, the man who traveled through time and space, just like I did. Also became a pony, just like I did." The Doctor gaped at Adam, who almost effortlessly seemed to work him out. He then said "But how? You? Time and space? You're a Time Charger?"

Adam smiled and said "No, but if my memory serves me correctly, I came here via a magic portal in the sky." The Doctor looked at Adam, for the first time in many millenia someone had managed to use a huge amount of logic in order for travel. The Doctor said excitedly "You're brilliant, you know that? First man to travel to another Universe, stories would be written about you, what's your full name?" Adam replied "Adam Wheatfeild, why?"

At the sound of his name, The Doctor beamed, a look of joy on his face "You mean Adam Wheatfeild as in human protector of all living things? As in the man who saved billions upon BILLIONS of races from extinction by his sheer kindness alone? ADAM WHEATFEILD?!" he looked taken aback, but he said "Yes? I can barely remember what happened in my human life now."

The Doctor hugged him "OH I LOVE YOU! But, I'm assuming this must be the one you love, oh, hello Twilight, pleasure to meet you again." Adam looked at The doctor and said "Yeah, you love me, just go easy on the hugs their pal, you're nice, but I'm not gay." The Doctor was taken aback at this statement then laughed "Not like that, I just really appreciate everything you have done and have yet to do. Wait, you're here, so how can you exist in this universe, you weren't really made to exist here."

Adam sighed and said "My human form is back in his universe, I co-exist as a Pony form, so long as me and him never meet, there will never be a paradox, otherwise, our amulets will attempt to fuse, which would not be good." The Doctor said "So this 'amulet' you speak of, it cloned you into two repeater universes, yet gave you both the same attributes. But made you forget EVERYTHING you knew about your human life?" Adam replied "Yes, actually you pretty much hit the nail on the head there."

The Doctor asked "If you don't mind, would you kindly let me have a look at the amulet you're speaking of?" Adam held out one hoof below his neck, the amulet un-clipped itself and dropped into his hoof. He then gave the amulet to the doctor, who examined it with his sonic screwdriver.

He said "Your amulet appears to have the capability to manipulate time, space and the universe in any way you choose. Normally under any other circumstances, I'd destroy that amulet. However seeing as you have yet to misuse it, I'll allow you to keep it, just watch it carefully." Adam looked at the amulet as he threw it at his neck, it automatically clipped around him. The doctor observed "That amulet only seems to work for you and seems to think that you are powerful enough to use it properly."

He said with caution "This concerns me greatly, for your amulet chooses to favor power and intellect. if you found anyone in this universe who was more powerful than you, it'd drain you of the magic you had and leave." The Doctor said "However, I am supposedly the most powerful person in existence, not bragging. But then why didn't it attach to me?"

Adam replied "I altered the amulets magical hard-wiring, it is bound to me until death, otherwise indestructible unless removed from the host."

Twilight said "Whenever you two are done nerding out." This made Adam laugh, his warm laugh filled the air, a deep bass laugh, it made Twilight and The Doctor smile. The Doctor said "I best be off, need to observe Ponyville for anything weird. Perhaps I could find out what made you arrive in the first place." Adam said "Trust me, don't, it might cause a paradox."

The Doctor said "By the way, your cutie mark, Infinity, never ending, in what means?" Adam replied "Never ending skill, I have no one talent because I have them all, that is what made me different." The Doctor smiled a ponified smile, Adam smiled back as He and Twilight walked away.

Adam said to her "An odd pony isn't he?" Twilight looked at Adam and said "Please, don't get me started." Adam laughed.
