The royal cousin

"Orion Pax, was just like you, Twilight." Princess Celestia said to her prized pupil.

"Just like me in wich ways, princess?"

"Oh, in many ways. He is a librarian in the Iacon Hall of Records, he loves to know everyting, that is why he read the entire Canterlot Library in just two years!" Celestia said with much enthousiasm.

"Of course, the library was much smaller back then." She added.

They were walking through the hallways of Canterlot castle, discussing the next Summer Sun Celebration and its guests.

Celestia was about to give her favorite nephew an invitation. The last time she saw him was nearly two thousand years ago, back when she and her sister weren´t princesses yet.

"Can you take it from here, Twilight?" Celestia asked. "I still have to send him the invitation."

"No problem, princess, I shall have it all taken care of." Twiligght Sparkle said with pride.

"Even the landing pad for his airship?"

"Even the landing pad, but who would need such a big airship?"

Celestia just smiled and walked to her quarters to send the invitation.

When she laid in a comfortable position to write, she got a quill and some parchment and she wrote:

"Dear Orion Pax,

It gives me great pleasure to invite you to the next Summer Sun Celabration.

We have alot to catch up on, two thousand years isn´t nothing. Besides, how is your brother doing? Is he still a gladiator?

You may also take five friends with you.

..."

"...your cousin 'princess' Celestia. " A large robot read aloud.

"It has indeed been awhile Celestia." He sighed.

Optimus Prime sat in his private quarters in the NEST base in Washington D.C.

Having just read his invitation to the Summer Sun Celebration, he realised how much has changed in the war against the Decepticons: Megatron having betrayed him, his promotion to a Prime by the council, the launch of the Allspark to Earth, meeting the humans and killing his own brother twice.

"Optimus, we haven´t seen you in a while, is everyting allright?" A green robot asked his leader and friend.

"We have been invited by my cousin to the Summer Sun Celebration in Equestria, Ratchet" Optimus replied.

Ratchet was the Autobot medic, and one of Prime´s oldest friends.

"Equestria? Never heard of it." another Autobot replied.

This one was red and had two wristblades, he had an Italian accent, and the same kind of 'temperamenté'.

"I would find it strange if you knew, Mirage. Equestria is a magical land on the planet of Equis. This planet has been erased from the maps since the war began." Optimus replied.

"But how do we get there, Prime? The Ark is unreachable, the spacebridge is destroyed and the humans..." Ratchet made a list.

"Who said we have to take humans with us?" Optimus said. "We can ask NASA for some parts to build a new ship."

"I doubt that, big guy" a human said.

"Captain Lennox, I did not see you." Optimus said.

"And why would you doubt that, captain?" Ratchet replied.

"Space ship parts are expensive to build, especially for just a trip to another planet." Lennox said matter-of-factly.

"Capain Lennox, we got just invited by my cousin, to her own celebration, I haven´t seen her in nearly two thousand years."

"Only if she were a Princess, maybe Nasa would make an exeption." The soldier replied. "And even then, at least one human should join, for diplomatic reasons."

"It is settled then." Optimus gave the letter to his human collegue.

Lennox read the text on the parchment and said: "I will give this letter to Nasa, personally."

"This would give me great pleasure, captain." Optimus smiled.
