Diamond stretched out as she made her way down the large spiraling staircase. Today was going to be her and Silver Spoon's lazy day. A day to just relax and enjoy each other's company. She was dressed casually too, currently wearing a tank top, gym shorts and fluffy slippers. Super comfy and ready to veg on a big soft couch for hours watching Daring Do movies. Silver Spoon should be here any moment and phone call earlier confirmed they wanted to get started as soon as possible. As the excited woman found herself on the last leg of stairs that entered the foyer, her mom suddenly entered the room and instantly the air became just as cold inside as outside, the mid winter chill suddenly surrounding her body, making her shiver slightly.
Her mom looked still rather young for someone in their late 40s though to be fair, with how many beauty products she used, it wouldn't be that much of a surprise. Couldn't even remember what her natural hair color was or what her skin looked like when it wasn't super tanned. Not a single sign of aging and her immaculate rose pink backless gown hadn't a single wrinkle. Her heels clicked as she walked with incredible grace. Her long reddish brown hair seemed to flow with her movement, while her perky grapefruits managed to keep their slight bounce with each step. At this point, she could be bathing in virgin blood and no one would bat an eye if that were true. Even with all that though, she still couldn't hide that crooked cold heart of hers just beneath the surface.
For ever since Diamond stood up to her, finally tired of dealing with her insane goals that only seemed to hamper Diamonds bid for a happy life, she had been cold and almost distant. Only really talking to her when she actually needed something from her. Despite having the name Rich, being rich, her demeaner was anything but rich. Especially when it came to her own daughter. So it came at a surprise when the possible demi-lich actually acknowledged the fact that there was someone in the room besides her.
"Diamond... A moment." She said sternly. Her eyes seemed to stare into the young woman's very soul. Her hair seemed to bristle somehow as her very tanned salon skin seemed to move to allow a finger to point at the light pink haired thing that was somehow her flesh and blood. Diamond was starting to wonder if she switched at birth or something. No way they could be related. Much less her spawn.
The young adult paused, feeling like that finger was going to somehow pierce her like a knife. Or a green bolt of energy would leap from it. Even though she long ago stopped fearing her, this woman still carried a surprising amount of commanding aura.
Diamond Tiara slowly moved until she reached the bottom of the steps as her mother walked towards her. As the two now stood a few steps apart, the young woman could see she had something cooking up in that brain that was going to be a possible day wrecker for sure.
"You're going to see Silver Spoon today, aren't you?" Her voice was cold and almost monotone. Her gaze revealed only slight contempt.
"Yes." Diamond replied, trying to sound casual. Though a part of her could sense this vile creature was about to tear into her very soul any minute now. Hopefully this would at least be quick, Silver really could show up any second now. Did she leave the door unlocked? Maybe some light might cause her mother to venture back into whatever dark portion of the house she just crawled from.
"Why must you pursue such a simple child of a noble, when you could be chasing a king?"
Diamond felt a small smile crack across her face. "Because a king wouldn't be able to handle me like Silver Spoon does. His throne would be wrecked long before I would be done with him. Besides, I think its become very apparent which way I prefer my door to swing. I'd say a good 80 to 20 split if you had to twist my arm though." She replied with a bit of a chuckle, hoping the lighter response would bring some warmth back into the room.
Her mother scoffed in disgust. "Really now? You have all the makings to take more power. More fame. More riches. Why do you settle for less? Why do you settle for... That low tier woman?"
And just like that, it got cold again. Diamond felt a bit of heat begin to rise within her body though. "Because she is all I really need. This may come as a surprise to you, but some of us actually know how to derive happiness from others and not from how much you can take."
Pretty sure she watched a maid walk in just now, immediately turn and sprint out. The tension was thick enough to be felt just by being in their vicinity.
Her mother seemed to grow larger, her eyes growing darker even though in reality, she was simply standing there. Her scowl did seem to deepen. "I take because enough is never enough. How did I mange to raise a daughter who is content with someone so base? She should have been your stepping stone, not your crown."
"Funny you should say that, Silver asks me to step on her all the time." The young woman said with a mischievous small grin.
Suddenly the room went from cold to below freezing as her mother took a step closer. "This isn't a game Diamond Tiara. I want you to break up with this woman and find someone of higher power. Perhaps a prince in Canterlot or if you must go with the fairer sex, perhaps a Queen from a distant land. They are having a large ball in Canterlot tonight with ambassadors and royals coming from several distant lands." She paused, a smile slowly making its way across her face. "I plan on taking you with me to finally get you in a place of higher status."
Diamond felt her fists clench. "Excuse me?" She took a step forward, feeling her heart rate increase a bit. "Why in the freaking world would I want to break up with the woman that I love, just to go to some boring party where everyone is all too happy to bring each other down. All so one person can rise above everyone else?" The young woman could see her mother tense up. The smile had now faded. "I refuse to go. I already have plans today and will not be wrecking them just so I can be a pawn in whatever scheme you are trying to cook up."
Cracks in the loathsome creature's seemingly calm attitude began to waver as her temper began to rise. "You are wasting your youth! Honestly, I don't know what got in that head of yours. I remember when you used to follow my every word!"
Diamond another took a step foreword, now able to practically feel her mother's cold breath on her face. The two were a mere two steps apart now. There was a rising righteous furry that was beginning to work its way to the surface as Diamond felt her rage begin to really build. "Yes and I was miserable! I won't go back to that and I refuse to become something like you. Someone who only takes and uses everything until there is nothing left." Her eyes glanced around the room. "I don't understand why you are even here or bothering with me, you have more than enough power and money at this point. Why are you so focused on me or yourself having more?"
"Because that is what drives us my dear." She said with her voice slowly coming back down. Her scowl now turning into a grin. The whole atmosphere seemed to shift around her. The cold atmosphere now being replaced with a more sinister chill. Like standing in old haunted house in the dead of winter. "Because you are my daughter and I know what you will eventually need, even if you don't see it now. One day you will wish you had someone driving you to be more. You only have so much time. Let me help you become something more than that little tramp you think you love will ever be."
She pushed the Silver Spoon Button again... She shouldn't have done that.
"Are you crazy?!" Diamond shouted. "I will NEVER become a woman like you! I actually love her unlike you, who clearly doesn't love anyone but herself!"
There was a long pause as Diamond suddenly noticed Silver Spoon standing at the open door. So she did leave the door unlocked, good. The three woman glanced at each other before Diamond quickly slipped past her mother. The young woman practically grabbed Silver by the hand without saying a word. As Diamond led her girlfriend away, she glanced back at Diamonds mom. Or at the very least, the stewing creature that looked like her mom. "Is it just me, or is she staring daggers at me." Silver whispered, suddenly noticing it was still rather cold despite now being inside and out of the snow.
"Trust me, if she had her way, real daggers would be coming out of her eyes right now." Diamond said softly as she led the bewildered woman through a small door and down a long flight of stairs.

A door slammed hard enough to shake most of the house. An impressive feat considering the house was pretty big. While not quite a mansion, it was still a fairly large house with an indoor swimming pool and other luxuries. Down near the swimming pool, there was a bathroom next to a sauna room. Directly linked to that by a sliding non-see-through glass door was a large shower room with multiple shower heads and a large sunken bath in the middle of it. Two woman had just entered with the heavy door slamming behind them. There, fuming, was Diamond Tiara. Her now bare feet slapped along the tiled floor as she walked across the room before smacking her open hand against the wall. "Damn that woman. How the hell did I even put up with her as a kid, I will never know!"
Just on the opposite of the room, dressed in a sweatshirt and short shorts, stood Silver Spoon. She grimaced, running a hand over her long silvery white hair as she sighed heavily. "Yeah not gonna lie, I've seen snakes more warm blooded than her." Her bare feet soon slapped across the floor and stood behind Diamond. "Wanna tell me what that argument was all about? I only got the tail end of it and your moms death stare that could cause a raging bull to pause."
Diamond slumped her head against the wall. "You... The argument was over you..."
"Again?"
Silver Spoon reached forward, wrapping her arms around the fuming woman's mid section and gently resting her head against the back of Diamond's neck. "Its been years now, how is she still not over us hooking up?"
"It was more than that actually. In her words, she couldn't care less who I boned. What she wants is for me to hook up with someone with more higher class so she can forever indulge in her crazy lifestyle. At least, that's my running theory."
"The heck is wrong with my family?" Silver asked, feeling more confused than anything. "We aren't as rich as you but we sure as heck are well off and my family has nobility in Canterlot."
"She wants more than that. What she has now is no longer enough. She wants me to get with some high class royal or some larger business. All so she can just mooch off them. I don't know if she views me as her daughter anymore. I am just a pawn her crazy scheme."
Silver hugged her girlfriend tighter. Diamond sighed, feeling a bit of warmth start to run across her back. "You know, she wasn't always like this." She lifted up her head and looked around. "My dad says she used to give me baths in this very tub a long time ago. I would always fight her because I guess I hated baths at the time. But she was patient with me and even wanted to go swimming with me from time to time. Some of my earliest memories are of her teaching me how to swim."
Silverspoon felt Diamond begin to sink to the floor so she kept her arms around her as they both soon sunk to their knees. Diamond carefully turned around as Silver shifted until she was sitting next to her. Her arm was left over Diamonds shoulder as the two leaned against each other.
"Is this why you come down here so often. Because its one of the few places in your house with good memories?"
The young woman sighed and nodded. "Yeah, its funny really. She used to try to hide so much of who I really was everywhere we went but here, I could just be myself. No one else in the house comes here much except to maybe clean. Dad used to host pool parties when I was super young but I was not allowed to be anywhere near those. It didn't matter to me because he told me I would have the place all to myself any other time I wanted it."
Silver Spoon cuddled up closer. "Is your dad still cool?"
The light pink haired woman smiled. "Yeah, he's still cool. Better than that, he one of the few people in my family still rooting for me and wanting me to be happy. I wish he wasn't away on business so much but I understand we wouldn't have all this if he wasn't busy all the time."
The silver haired woman rested her hand on Diamond's right leg. "When you said you got to be yourself down here..."
"Yeah, turns out that being a raging lesbian tends to go against your mothers wishes. So that will lead to having its up and downs. Even before we started dating, she wanted me to be such a bully but when I finally went against her, something changed. I guess I started seeing the real her or how much she had really changed. Who could have guessed?" She said with a chuckle.
Her gaze fell on the glass door near them, seeing the sun reflecting off the pool. "She started to real hound on me and it got old fast. I just couldn't seem to shake her and I had to act like it didn't effect me. If I showed any weakness, she would take advantage of it. I had to remain strong around her despite always feeling so drained after every conversation. Here I could finally just... Get away and recharge."
"So when did your mom suddenly make the big switch?" Silver asked, now slowly running her hand up and down Diamond's leg.
Diamond shifted, feeling her lover snuggle in closer as a result. "Beats the heck out of me. I didn't pick up on it till Apple Bloom, Scootaloo and Sweetie Belle helped to get me to see straight... In a matter of speaking." Diamond leaned in closer, enjoying the warmth her girlfriend was giving off. "She took every chance she got once I started seeming less cute to her to start berating me about how hard it was going to be to find someone who was down for the full package deal. Then it came to light I was into you and I guess it was all down hill from there."
Silver tugged on her sweatshirt a bit. "Guess she realized that her meal ticket's love life was going to be different than how she had imaged it and that made her afraid for her own future."
"Makes about as much sense to me as anything else with that crazy woman. Don't know what dad saw in her. Its like a switch got turned and she decided greed was now her main concern. Now she feels like an annoying stranger that just lives to try to break me into whatever she wants me to be."
Silver Spoon smiled. "Well too bad for her, I like who you are and I as long as I am around, no breaking will be happening on my watch." She slowly got up before turning around and bending down, grasping Diamond's hands. "I love you for you. So come on, lets go do something I know is going to cheer you up."
Diamond smiled a bit as she stood up. Silver opened the glass door with one hand while holding her lover's hand in the other. The two continued to grasp each other's hands as they walked into the pool room.
It was super warm. There were windows on the ceiling letting in some natural light. More covered sides of the room but were covered by large curtains. The windows along the side went about half way around the pool room but were usually drawn to keep some privacy. Dim lights from the pool caused little shapes to dance on the ceiling above them.
A single luxury chair-like pool-floaty sat in the middle. It had a foam head rest and was clear. It had arm rests and could be changed into lay down floaty by pulling a special tab on the back. Silver reached out, attempting to bring it in closer as Diamond glanced out the window past the curtain. Outside she could see trees and an open lawn. Down near the back patio door, she could see her mom yelling at a servant, more than likely taking out her frustrations on them. The young woman felt bad for the poor guy who was clearly just there to do some shoveling but thankfully, the only thing the servant had to worry about was her bark. Her father rarely ever fired anyone, not even if told to do so by her mother.
Diamond made a mental note to give that wonderful servant a bonus for putting up with all this. She soon felt Silver pulling at her hand and she glanced back. The floaty was now partially out of the water, ready for them. Diamond felt her worries begin to loosen. The two had made it their thing to just sit and relax on it together from time to time. Or at the very least, hang out in the warm room that had become the only place the two felt like they could be in without any possible interruption.
Silver carefully pulled Diamond toward her, spinning the light pink haired woman around and hugging her from behind. "Hey, don't give her another thought alright. Its just you and me." Silver said softly.
She then slowly gripped the sides of Diamond's tank top, pulled it up and off. Next she unstrapped the bra, making sure to quickly slide it off before tossing it off to the side. "Getting naked in the pool in broad daylight, what if someone sees?" Diamond asked, fully joking of course.
Silver chuckled as she gripped the sides of Diamonds gym shorts, making sure to take the panties down with her as she pulled the fabrics down. "Then, they get to enjoy what our bodies have to offer. If we are lucky, they will like what they see."
Diamond stretched her arms out above her head, feeling Silver caress her body from behind, running her fingers over her C cup breasts. "Are you implying you'd be down for a threesome with one of my maids?"
Silver bit her lip for a second before replying. "Only if they are really cute. Which I won't lie, would be really difficult because the most beautiful woman in this house is currently standing in front of me."

"I swear, you always know how to say the most sweatiest, yet corniest lines." Diamond said with a soft sigh.

Diamond sighed as she felt another bit of fabric slip that had been holding itself against her ass. Now bare skin could be felt. "I won't lie, I much as I love bending you down and shoving a large dildo as deep as it will go, these moments where it is just this... Yeah, agree."
Silver kissed the back of Diamond's neck before whispering. "Shall we ship out on the SS Cuddleboat now?"
Diamond felt shiver run down her back. "Sure." She said softly, feeling her anxiety begin to melt.
Silver bent down, slipping onto the floating chair but keeping her hand on the edge to keep it from floating away. Her back reclined against the top with her legs spread out. Diamond waited for her to get situated before carefully climbing on next, siting between her legs, feeling the floaty sink a bit as it tried to accommodate them. Silver was humming something, a soft tune. It made Diamond's eyes lids feel heavy as she closed her eyes, feeling the last of her worries begin to slip away. Right now it was just them, their silent thoughts and their own embrace.
After a few moments of low humming, Silver spoke up. "Diamond... Can I ask a question?"
The woman in question chuckled, her eyes opening up again as she stared up at the ceiling. "Sure, ask away."
"What would you do if your mother forbid me from ever coming over here?"
Diamond scrunched up her nose as she glanced off to the side. "What happened to not having to think about her anymore? She was just starting to slip from my mind too..."
"Sorry... But its been eating at me for some time now. It got worse after seeing how she looked at me earlier. I knew she didn't like me but that look was something else."
Diamond rolled her eyes. "She holds no authority over me. She can say what she wants but nothing will stop me from seeing you. Even if she tries to lock us out... We'll just sneak in through the windows. And I know your place isn't good either, I get how awkward it is over there right now with your parents going through a rough patch." She felt Silver shift a bit at that and knew to drop that immediately. Shifting gears she rested her hands against Silver's. "Also I've been really looking for a good apartment and I have a few in mind. The only reason I haven't moved out by now is because of the many perks I have here. I mean, who doesn't love having an indoor pool or a home movie theater? But if that snake makes things difficult, I can drop all that if it means I get to see you everyday."
She felt Silver relax a bit more again. "Really? You'd move into some dingy apartment, just so that we can be together more often?"
"Well, not dingy, I would at least have some standards... But yeah." She smiled. "We could move in together too."
Silver hugged her slightly tighter. "You know that is my dream, that one morning you and I could wake up, just the two of us. Make breakfast and just chill. Never have to worry about another soul. We could wear whatever we want... Or nothing at all."
Diamond snickered at that. "You know, that image alone is almost enough for me to want to go find a place right now. But for now, I'd prefer to stay in your arms. At least for a bit longer."
Silver sighed. "Don't worry too much about it, its just a silly dream after all."
Diamond shook her head. She carefully sat up and turned around, placing her hands on the arm rests as she locked eyes with Silver. She could feel those wonderful arms leave her for a second but ignored that for now.
"Hey, l love that dream too. I want to be happy with you forever. Don't ever think I wouldn't care about stuff like that."
She leaned forward, smashing her lips against Silver's, feeling those hands wrap around her again. She could feel Silver melt as the two closed their eyes, locking it each others embrace. Sparks went off in both their heads as Diamond kissed her patiently. Even as she broke away for a second, her gaze returned to Silver's. "I love you... I don't take those words lightly. I am willing to go along with anything you want to do. Your dreams are my dreams too."
Silver felt her eyes go a bit watery as she laughed. "Sorry, your right." She stuck her tongue out for a second. "Gosh, here I am supposed to be cheering you up and you are the one doing that to me."
Diamond smiled. "I always prefer when its a balance, anyways."
"Speaking of balance." She muttered while reaching behind the floating chair, she pulled on a tab, causing the whole thing to recline. Now on her back, Silver could feeling Diamond on top of her. Her breasts were squishing against each other while her right hand began to work its way down between Silver's legs. "What do you say we both enjoy each others company in a more fun way."

"Sounds good to me."
Diamond softly kissed her. "Mmm... Despite everything, I think today is going to be a good day."
Silver hummed softly as she slowly nodded. "Agreed."
