//-------------------------------------------------------// This Secret Life of Mine -by RefugeInSilence- //-------------------------------------------------------// //-------------------------------------------------------// A Son's Secret //-------------------------------------------------------// A Son's Secret The sounds of the club blared and thumped with the sounds of heavy bass. Mares and Stallions dancing their cares away, each beat of the music melting away that day’s stress. If you looked around you would see many couples enjoying the night, regardless if they’ve been together for Celestia knows how long or enjoying a casual fling for the night. “So Sapphire, no hooking up with your coltfriend tonight?” The bartender, a young mare asked. Grey fur, red eyes, a unicorn much like the mare she was talking to, She was wearing her work uniform a typical uniform you wore at these sort of places, a white short sleeved buttoned up shirt, red vest jacket, a very short black skirt, dark tights and a set of 1 inch heels. In short, she was a cute little thing, not too busty but her rear made up for it in my opinion. “No it's just me and a few drinks tonight Hazel.” She answered, “Parents are gonna be making a visit soon. I don’t want them asking any questions. So you might not see me next week.” “Ah shame.” Hazel replied, “They still haven’t figured it out?” She shook her head no and gave a small, wry smile. “They never will if I had my way.” She paused, “They wouldn’t approve…” It was early morning, birds chirping and the light of dawn glaring in my eyes. “Ugh…” I groaned, I glanced at the clock. “6:30 am…typical…well at least there’s no hangover this time.” I yawned and stretched, hearing and audible pop as I stretched. I got up, showered and started my morning ritual. I looked in the mirror and did a quick summary of my current appearance. I was a bit on the short side at least for a stallion, I was easily as taller than the average mare but not by much. I had ice blue eyes, faint pale blue fur, a dusty blonde mane with light blue streaks in and a matching tail. I was build with a lean frame with slightly wide hips. I laughed remembering all the femcolt comments I’ve gotten in the past. All in all I was just your typical shy geeky stallion. “Alright Silent enough staring into the mirror.” I muttered to myself, an old habit I never quite broke, “Time to get dressed and time to get to class.” The journey there was mostly uneventful, the occasional sight of one or two ponies stumbling home still somewhat drunk from the night before no doubt. I shook my head, I guessed they liked to party a bit too hard. Though to be fair I’ve done that a fair few times myself…gotta love the walk of shame. I couldn’t help but chuckle, I knew exactly what my mother would say if she saw me like that. I managed to get to class earlier than expected, and noticed a group of stallions huddled over muttering to themselves. Curious I glanced at what they were obsessing over. One of them was showing a picture on their phone. More specifically it was picture of a rather attractive mare. A unicorn, dusty blonde mane and tail with light blue streaks, ice blue eyes that held a certain warmth to them. She was certainly curvy, wide hips with a backside to match and a very noticeable bust. She was wearing a short dark blue dress and matching heels, some cute heart shaped earrings, with a matching one on her black choker. She had a hint of make up on from what I could tell. “Dude that’s her I’m telling you.” One of the stallions spoke up, “She’s the mare we’ve been hearing about.” “Wait the one from those rumours?” Another asked, and his friend confirmed it. “Hey Silent you’ve heard about her right?” One of them asked, noticing I was looking at the photo. “Yeah I’ve heard about her,” I paused and shrugged, “Who hasn’t at this point, that rumour has been going for nearly a few months now.” “Yeah, but this is the best photo of her we’ve managed to get.” This sparked my interest. The rumour itself wasn’t much. It was just about this mysterious mare in the photo, how no one on campus seemed to know where she came from. You would usually find her in one of the local clubs on the weekend enjoying a drink or hanging out with a friend. There’s even a few people who’s claimed to have slept with her, though from what I’ve heard only one person could claim that to be true. “Huh?” I looked at the photo closer, “Is that right?” “Yeah, we’ve been trying to figure out who she is for ages now, but by the moon this mare does not want to be found.” Another of the group exclaimed. “Just let her have her privacy.” I replied, “If she doesn’t want to be found, then she doesn’t want to be found for a reason.” I walked off and sat down. It’s not the first time I’ve heard someone trying to figure out who she is. My classes went by quickly, nothing too interesting just the everyday things most unicorns had to take as a mandatory part of the advanced enchanting course I was currently taking. My phone began to ring… “Hello?” A pause, “Oh hi Mom. Yeah I’ll still be able to meet you at the train station tomorrow.” Another pause, “Mom I’m doing fine, I’m just meeting up with a friend today, I’ve not long finished class.” I sighed as Mom went on with her usual rant. “Mom, I’m only 20.” I replied, “I want to finish university before I even think of settling down.” She continued on with her usual argument, “No Mom I won’t change my mind.” After a few more minutes she said goodbye and I was left alone with my thoughts. “Everytime…” I shook my head, “I know she worries, but does she really think rushing into a relationship would be the best option for me?” My mother was a bit of a strange one, she was kind and sweet but she was the type who insisted I settled down and raised a family. She didn’t approve of my choice of going into university and we’ve had plenty of arguments over her wanting me to take over the family business. My parents ran a small but successful cafe in ponyville which my mother inherited from her father, and to be honest I had no real interest in taking over. Nothing against it, I just wasn’t interested in taking over. I had my own life to live and well…let’s just say I know my parents wouldn’t approve since they both wanted me to settle down with some nice mare… I finally got home, a small but affordable apartment that I rented with what I earned from my job. The irony wasn’t lost on me about what I did to earn a living considering how my mother and I clash over that cafe. I stepped into my bedroom, I had to get ready for my shift at work…I had to cover for one of my co-workers who called in sick today. “Lets see…” I mused as I cast my usual charms, “I think a ponytail will work today.” The charm was cast, I shrank down in height a bit, my mane lengthened as I tied it back into how I usually wore it. My face softened, not that I really needed to but it didn’t hurt to be sure. I did my make up, just a light mix of a blue mascara that was slightly darker than my fur, and some eye-liner, followed by a pale pink lipstick that gave my lips a nice shimmer in the light. “Ah I almost forgot…” I muttered in my now feminine voice, I cast another charm and felt my chest swell, my waist narrow and my hips widen. My stallionhood shrank down and slowly changed into what it should have been in the first place. I put on my choker, lace bra and panties. I posed a bit just to make sure I put them on properly…those straps were a pain sometimes. “My parents would kill me if they knew…” I sighed, “I’ve been doing this since I moved out…Sorry Mom but I gotta be me…” I changed into my work uniform and left my apartment, and headed for work. “So Sapphire, you’re telling me they managed to get a picture of you?” I nodded, “They must have took it when I was at the club last night…I suppose it was only a matter of time.” “I’m surprised they haven’t made the connection already.” My co-worker Frost spoke up, he was easily taller than I was, a well built pegasus with snowy white fur and fiery orange mane with a dark blue streak in one of the bangs, and very expressive green eyes. “Well maybe I’m just that good at hiding it.” I added with a cheeky smile, “Are you really gonna confuse the shy geeky stallion for a mare like me?” I got a little closer and pushed my generous breasts against his chest. “The only reason you know is that I told you after our third date…and you know how much of a mare I am, I’m your mare after all.” He blushed, obviously remembering that particular night. I giggled and brought him back to reality. “C’mon honey,” I started, “We’ve got a job to do.” The shift was more of the same, the occasional bit of small talk with customers, serving drinks and food. We had our usual customers who were asking how I was doing. By the time we had to close down, I sat down and sighed. Today was a bit busier than usual, but that was too be expected with the summer weather. “You okay there Sapphire?” Frost asked me, I just let out a small laugh and gave him a small warm smile. “What’s so funny?” “My Mom would laugh if she saw me working in a cafe.” I explained, “After all the times I told her I wasn’t interested in running the family business. If she knew she wouldn’t let me live it down.” “Oh…I know she doesn’t know about this…” Frost replied, “Or us for that matter.” I sighed. “I know…She’s practically demanding I find some nice mare to settle down with and run that damned cafe.” I continued, “I wish I could tell her, but…well I’ve already told you she’s a traditionalist.” “Ah…” Frost spoke up as he poured us both a coffee, “Yes I remember, if she knew she’d throw a fit.” “Don’t get me wrong I don’t mind other mares, but in all honesty I’m much more interested in other stallions.” I gave him a smirk, “But I’m sure you know that already.” I turned serious for a moment, “The only reason I still attend my classes as a stallion is just to keep up appearances, I’d be attending as a mare if I had my way.” “Didn’t you have to declare it in your records that you’re…” Frost inquired. I nodded. “Mm-hmm, I had to…” I paused to take a sip of my coffee, “Otherwise I wouldn’t have been able to get this job without getting into trouble. I’m just glad my mother isn’t the type to look into my private documents, she’s my next of kin on them…y’know in case of emergencies.” I explained, “Speaking of my mother I’ll be picking her up tomorrow from the train station.” “So the usual plan when you have to do your shifts next week.” he asked, I nodded, “Alright, you’ve already got the spare key.” I checked the time, and frowned. “Looks like I’ve got to go…” I stated, “As much as I’d like to go home with you honey, I’ve got make sure my more…personal belongings are out of my mom’s sight.” I gave my coltfriend a quick kiss goodnight and left back to my apartment. //-------------------------------------------------------// Encounter over coffee //-------------------------------------------------------// Encounter over coffee I got to my front door tired as hell…Vani had given me quite the workout earlier, not to get even started on how busy work was. I opened the door and I was greeted by my annoyed looking mother. “What? I said I was would be working late.” I explained, “I had to help close shop! Blame that idiot Blitz Wind!” “Mm-hmm…” Mom gave me a questioning look, “I’m sure that’s only part of the reason…you reek of sex and…is that perfume?” She grinned, knowing she had caught me doing something I shouldn’t. “...!” I cursed under my breath, “…” She continued to give me that knowing look. I sighed and relented, “Fine you caught me, a co-worker of mine and I got caught up in a bit of fun after work while we were closing shop, happy?” “Well you can lose the attitude for a start.” She scolded, but softened her expression, “I’m just glad you’ve finally decided to at least consider the idea of settling down.” I sat down on the couch and sighed. If I was going to say anything further then I was going to have to be careful, the last thing I needed is my mom freaking out on me. “So…” She continued, “When do I get to meet her?” “...!” I hesitated, “U-Um…this is kinda…a casual thing between us…” “I see…” She gave me a grim look. “What?” I gave her a confused look, “Can’t I blow off some steam ever now and again Mom? It’s not like I’m not using protection!” “I know,” She sighed, “I just didn’t think you would be the type. I certainly didn’t raise you to be like that.” “And you wondered why I moved out?” I argued, “I needed my space Mom. It’s my life, so isn’t it up to me how I live it?” Mom looked at me shocked. She was about to say something but stopped herself. “No you’re right…” She spoke up after a moment of silence between us, “Heaven’s forbid if it was your younger sister or brother doing this. It’s only going to be a matter time before they leave home.” “So why pressure me so much about taking over the family business?” I asked, “Couldn’t you have Ruby or Lapis take over the family cafe instead?” “They aren’t ready…your brother certainly isn’t as he’s far too young, and your sister…” She paused, “…she really needs to work on her temper, before I can even consider it.” “So me just based on that?” I inquired, “I’ve already told I’m not interested in running the cafe. I want to open my own place that specialises in enchanting.” “Who says you can’t do both?” She asked, Mom did have a point but I was just wasn’t interested in it. “I’m sorry Mom, it’s just not something I can see myself doing.” I countered, “Look can we just drop the subject? I am way too tired for this.” “Fine…” She shrugged, “Well discuss this some other time. I can see you’re tired. Go on get some sleep.” I made my way to work, stopping by Frost’s place so I could get changed. I was swearing under my breath, cursing Blitz for ditching work yesterday. I’ll be damned if I wasn’t getting that pay check for yesterday. “Thank god Mom decided to check out the markets today.” I was grateful that Mom had wanted to explore the city a bit while I was at work or attending class. I got through the cafe door and was greeted by Cori and Blitz. I waved Cori a quick hello and gave Blitz a dirty look. Cori was pretty famous unicorn in the university for her extremely curvy figure and friendly, motherly personality. She was a red head who tied her hair back in a long pony tail, white fur and ocean blue eyes. Blitz on the other hand, he stood taller than me but a little shorter than Frost, green fur, black mane and gold coloured eyes. That damned idiot of a lazy pegasus had a knack of rubbing the rest of the staff the wrong way with how often he ditched work. “Seriously though how the hell does he keep his job.” I wondered to myself for Celestia only knows how many times now. I put my things in my locker and made my way to get started serving customers. The day was a bit uneventful, a typical shift of waiting tables, taking orders and the occasional stallion trying to get my number. So same old routine really. “Sapphire could you see to the mare on table 18?” Cori asked, “I’ve got my hands full and Blitz is out on his lunch break.” “On it!” I replied, in a cheery voice. I stopped dead in my tracks when I saw just who I would be serving. “What’s wrong Sapphire?” Cori asked, looking at me concerned. “Cori I can’t serve her! That’s my mom sitting there!” I whispered, “She doesn’t know I do this! She’d kill me if she did!” “Well I’m too busy dealing with all this?” She gestured to all the orders she’s been writing down. “And you know how useless Blitz is!” I gulped and panicked, I took a deep breath and composed myself. I really didn’t have a choice… “S-Sorry for the wait ma’am.” I started my usual routine for dealing with customers, “We’re a bit busy at the moment with the lunch rush, what can I get you?” I gave my Mom a small nervous smile. Mom gave me a quick once over, I was praying she didn’t recognise me… “Please don’t read me! Please don’t read me!” I was mentally pleading. “Hmm I’ll have…oh I didn’t realise you did that here?” Mom pointed to a picture of a cup of hot chocolate that came with a hint of mint. “I-It’s a popular drink here.” I stated. “Really?” She replied, “It’s a speciality drink at the cafe I run back home in Ponyville. I’m just surprised Ms…?” “Shine…Sapphire Shine.” I said, “I’m sure the recipe is pretty common knowledge, we aren’t the only cafe that does that particular drink. You said you were from Ponyville? You visiting from out of town? I don’t think I’ve seen you here before.” “I am.” She smiled, “I’m visiting my son, he’s a student at the university here.” “See guys I told you that’s her!” A stallion spoke up…well fuck my life of the time for them to show up. “C-Can I help you?” I asked nervously. One of them gave me a long once over, giving me a lecherous look as he stared at my chest. I covered my chest with the silver tray I was carrying. “Is this you?” One of the more politer members of his little group asked showing me a photo on his phone. “...” I gave them a glare, “S-So what if it is! I-I don’t see how that’s any of your business, what I do in my free time!” One of them gave me a curious look. “You do realise you’ve been the talk of the campus right?” He stated, “No one has seen you in any of the classes, and believe me we asked.” “F-Fine if you must know,” I said angrily, “I’m allowed on campus to visit my coltfriend! And no I’m not going to say who it is! That’s got nothing to do with you!” “Hey no need to get angry.” Another spoke up, “We just wanted to ask. We’ll take our leave.” Without another word they left leaving me and my mother alone…oh…right. “They bother you often?” She asked worried. “Not really, they just decided to ask at an awkward time.” I explained, “I swear I just wanted to spend some time with my coltfriend, and the whole university thinks I’m some mystery to be solved.” Mom gave me a curious look and laughed. “Sounds familiar.” She mused, I realised what I was supposed to be doing and took her order. I darted off as quickly as I could to sort it out for her. “Poor filly, she looks so nervous.” “You okay Sapphire?” Blitz asked concerned, “You look like you’ve been given the scare of a lifetime.” I huffed. “You pick your times to take a lunch break Blitz!” He shrugged and got back to work. “Damn it all Mom…why did you have to come to this cafe…” After the end of the shift I relaxed a little, I had to head back to Frost’s place to get changed before I could head back home. “You okay?” A familiar voice asked, “You seemed like a nervous wreck when you took my order. I just wanted to make sure you were alright.” “I-I’m fine…” I lied, “I just wasn’t expecting for them to show up out of the blue like that. I don’t like people looking into my private life.” “Oh that’s fine, where are you headed I’ll walk with you.” She offered, “Just to make sure they won’t try anything. I know the type…” “I’m heading to my Coltfriend’s place, he’s letting me stay the night.” Not entirely true, but he did say I could use his place to get changed for work while my mom was visiting. “I do have to ask how did you know how to make my drink exactly how I liked it?” She asked, “there’s only two people I know who know how to make it like that.” “Practice I guess.” I shrugged, well that isn’t a lie.”who are they?” I asked, despite already knowing the answer. “My husband and son.” She explained, “A family technique, to put it simply.” “Huh…I just made it the way I was taught to.” I stated, “I didn’t realise I was doing anything different.” “Oh I believe you.” She continued, “Just call it a pleasant surprise on my part. I don’t suppose you know my Son then? I remember him telling me Frostlit Shard was a good friend of his.” “He’s mentioned him, though we haven’t met yet.” I answered, “Frost does say he’s usually busy with one thing or another.” “I see…” She sighed, giving me a worried look, “I’m just worried he’s getting himself wrapped up in Luna only knows what. I just found out the other day he’s being having a casual fling with some random mare.” She took a moment, as a look of realisation came across her face. “What’s wrong?” I asked worried. “That perfume…” She gave me a weird look, “It smells exactly like the one I smelt on my son when I found out about his little fling.” “H-Hey! I’m already taken.” I countered, “I wouldn’t dream of doing that to Frost! Besides that perfume is popular with the mares here.” “Ah…that would explain it.” I silently praised myself for that bit of quick thinking. “Well here we are…” I stated, “I’m afraid the campus doesn’t allow people to go further than this without exceptions.” “I know, my son has his own apartment just outside of the campus, I suppose I should be heading back there.” Mom smiled, “It was a pleasure to meet you Sapphire.” As I made my way into Frost’s dorm, I couldn’t help but panic as I watched my Mom walk towards my apartment. “Fuck my life that was too close…” //-------------------------------------------------------// A silent mistake //-------------------------------------------------------// A silent mistake The journey back wasn’t too bad, I was thankful for Frost for letting me use his place. It didn’t take me long to cleaned up and get changed in to my male clothes. The night was cool, and it helped me to relax after my earlier encounter with Mom. The dimly lit streets were practically empty outside from a few ponies making their way back from most likely was their jobs. I caught a quick glance at my reflection and sighed… “Damn it, I could have sworn I did my mane properly before I went into work.” I muttered, “I hate having it this short.” I fussed with my hair a bit, before I resumed my journey back home. I hated my reflection sometimes, I looked back at it and frowned. Everything about what I was seeing was most definitely male, but on the inside… “I need to take a sit down. “ I muttered, “C’mon Sapphire…get your head together, I know you’re a mare but you’ve got to bear with this. Mom’s gonna kill you if she finds out.” This wasn’t the first time I felt like this, and most likely wouldn’t be the last time I would either. I sighed, rubbing my forehead. It’s complicated to explain to someone else, but from time to time I would think of myself as being a mare and I’ll get uncomfortable seeing myself or being reminded I was a stallion. “C’mon Sapphire, Mom’s gonna worry if you’re any later.” I got up and continued heading back. “Silent are you okay?” I wondered, looking at my son. He just seemed so tired and well mentally drained. “By the stars you look like you’re about to keel over!” “Just a stressful day at class and work.” He said simply. He just gave me a small smile, despite how tired he looks. I told him to get into the shower and then off to bed. Celestia help me, he’s been running himself ragged again. He nodded, and made his way to the shower. As soon as he locked the door, I sighed. “There’s that smell of perfume again…” I muttered, “Has he been seeing that mare again? No that couldn’t right, he didn’t reek of sex as well this time.” I must have been over thinking things, there’s no way he was with another mare. Plus there’s the fact he looked like he’s close to having a panic attack. The only other time I’ve seen him like that was when I caught him indulging in one of his more…feminine habits. It wasn’t much but when he thought no one was looking he would slip into acting like a mare. Body language, softer voice when speaking and I’ve even caught him wrapping the towel around himself like a mare would. He’s a terrible liar too, I knew the bathroom products were his. I had to stop myself from laughing when he said they belonged to Ruby. He got so mad when she started using them. “Phew much better…” I sighed, the shower water against my body felt nice, “…” I looked down, then back towards the door…I could…if only for a little bit… It was a risky idea, but it would help me relax and get rid of that…uncomfortable feeling that’s been bothering me on the way back home. Weighing the risks I decided it was worth it and soon enough I began to silently cast the spells needed to make the change. “Much better…” I muttered, and continued my shower in relative piece. I didn’t mind being a guy despite those feeling bothering me from time to time, but if I had to be honest I was drawn more to my female form. I soaped up my rather large breasts, and let out a soft moan. Yeah if somepony knew about this they’d probably think I’m a pervert for doing this. The spells themselves weren’t that hard to learn, they just needed a fine level of control to make all the changes…I had to learn a lot about anatomy to make the correct changes. My body like this was fully functional too, so I could get pregnant if I wasn’t careful. “Thank goodness for contraceptive spells.” I sighed, I dreaded to think what would happen if I got knocked up by Frost. The spells themselves had their risks of course, one of the drawbacks was I experienced the mental effects of PMS even in my male body. The other two main concerns was learning that if I failed to cast the spell properly or stayed too long in it I would be locked into that form, and if I used the spell too much in one day I’d begin to have those episodes of being uncomfortable in my male body again. Sadly I wish that was just a side effect of the spell…because I know that one is all me, as much as I didn’t like to admit it. “Son you gonna be much longer in there?” I heard Mom shout from behind the door. “I’ll be out in a bit!” I replied, using my magic to alter the pitch of my voice to what it was when I’m a stallion. I sighed in contentment as I washed my mane and tail. “It’ll be another hour before I can cast the spell to change back…” I listened carefully and could hear a slight sound of snoring, “Ah must have fallen asleep, I might just be able to get away with this.” I wrapped the towel around me and peeked outside the door. I saw there was no one in the living room and from the looks of it the door to the guest bedroom was shut. I snuck out as quietly as I could back to my bedroom. Maybe I could get away with being a mare for the night after all. Once I got into my bedroom I shut the door and slipped into some clean panties and a loose fitting t-shirt and snuggled into bed hugging my pillow. The next morning came quickly, and if I remembered correctly my son he didn’t have classes or work today. He’s usually up so early so I thought it was best if I let him sleep in a bit considering how exhausted he looked last night. I took a moment to survey my son’s apartment, and chuckled. “I’m amazed he manages to keep this place so clean.” I couldn’t help but laugh, “I had such a hard time telling him to keep his room tidy.” I looked back around, noting the various flowers I’ve seen him routinely take care of, “This place has definitely had a mare’s touch, there’s just no way he’s this organised.” I looked over at his small collection of books he had on the shelf. It was like before just books and various texts on various forms of magic and enchantments. Mindlessly I took one book out and noticed the cover was loose. “Huh?” I muttered softly, I peeled back the book cover and saw the actual title of the book. “The Dairy of Winter volume one.” I blinked, then again, rubbing my eyes to make sure I wasn’t seeing things. This had nothing to do with his studies, in fact this was a romance novel. One I was very, very familiar with. I smiled, “Must be a guilty pleasure of his.” Curious I had a look at the other books on the shelf, turns out my son has the full series. I chuckled, I’ve caught him reading the occasional novel in the past though he said romance novels were too feminine for his tastes. “My flank they were, I’ve caught him listening in when I put the audio books on.” I giggled, and sighed. I continued looking through the books and while I found a few more romance novels of different series the other books were exactly what he said they were. I even found a few books on anatomy, which I though was odd but then again I’m not a unicorn so magic goes above my head. I moved over to the contents of the other shelves in the room, maybe I could find some more clues about my elusive son’s life. I didn’t find much a few photos of what I assume were his friends, one was of that cute mare from the cafe I saw when I first arrived. “I wonder if this was the mare he was telling me about.” While I did want him to settle down with some mare from back home in Ponyville, I wasn’t against the idea of him being with some city mare. It just bothered me he kept this from me. I was a bit old fashioned when it came to relationships, but I never thought my son would be the type to have a casual fling in the hay. I looked at the other photos, and none of them stood out bar one. It was a picture of a snowy white pegasus and… “That’s the mare from yesterday.” I stated, “I didn’t know Silent knew her.” The photo itself was nothing special, just of the those two smiling at the camera in a why that clear made it obvious they were a couple. I wondered why he would have a photo like this, but I just shook my head and dismissed it. I just assumed that my son took the photo since I know how camera shy he is. So why wasn’t he in any of these photos? I wondered. I would have figured he would have been one or two of them at the very least. “...” I stopped for a moment, and looked back down at the photo I was holding I noticed the mare in the photo, “She does have a certain resemblance to my son…” I was easily missed, unless you had them side by side. The only real difference was the evidence of cutie mark on her hips. I knew for a fact my son hadn’t gotten his yet, he couldn’t figure out why and eventually stopped caring. From what I could tell the cutie mark on the mare seemed to be some sort of black cog, like you would put in a machine with hints of blue and gold of a shape that was hidden by her clothing. I looked at the time…10 am. I sighed and went to wake my son up. I lightly knocked on his door, before opening it carefully. I smiled as I heard him snoring softly and mentally laughed how somethings don’t ever change. I was curled up contently cuddling one of his pillows, much like he used to as a child dressed in what seemed like a loose fitting t-shirt. He had one leg over on the outside of the blanket and was snoring softly as his tail lazily swung back and forth. He had his back to me and when ever his tail would move I caught a glimpse of something on his hips. A hint of black, blue and gold though I couldn’t tell what it was. “I didn’t realise he finally got his cutie mark…” I muttered to myself, I took a moment to observe my son. Was it just me or did everything about him seem…softer, I shook my head and dismissed the thought. “Silent it’s time to wake up…” I said giving him a slight nudge. “Mmm…don’t wanna…” I heard him mutter in a pitch softer than I was used to hearing, “Don’t wanna go to school today…” I had to hold back a laugh, he could be so childish when he wants to be. “Silent, wake up.” I said a bit more firmly, his response was to just let out another soft moan and hug his pillow tighter in protest. I sighed, it was like this every morning when he was colt. Ah well can’t say I didn’t try…I took a deep breath and… “SILENT WAKE THE FUCK UP!!” I roared, he let out the most feminine scream I’ve ever heard him yell, followed by a heavy thud of him hitting the floor. “Good now that you’re awake I’ll make us some breakfast.” I laid there on the floor panicking, after Mom scared the living hell out of me. I waited for her to leave the room before I tried casting the spells need to change me into my male form…and nothing… I tried again and still nothing… “Oh no…” I muttered under my breath panicking, “Damn it what time is it!?” I stumbled over to my clock, it read just after 10 am…”Oh no I’m only supposed to be under the effects of the spell for 8 hours before it became permanent. I had to quickly weigh my options, on hand I could bind my chest and try to fool my Mom which wouldn’t be so difficult if I wasn’t such a bad lair. I couldn’t use magic to alter the pitch of my voice before because my horn glowing would give me away. The counter spell wouldn’t work because I’m now a mare permanently. I-I had no other options…Mom is gonna freak…I slowly made my way towards the bedroom door and entered the living room, I hugged my pillow tighter and had my eyes hidden by my bangs. “M-Mom…I-I need to tell you something…” //-------------------------------------------------------// A Daughter Revealed //-------------------------------------------------------// A Daughter Revealed I looked at my son, he sounded different…he was tightly hugging his pillow in some vain attempt it would comfort him. I couldn’t see his eyes hidden under the bangs of his mane, which looked much longer than I remember it being. I then heard the quiet sobs and the faint shimmer of tears going down his face. Was he crying? I’ve never seen him cry like this in years, it’s like he’s completely frightened of whatever is bothering him. I stopped what I was doing and urged him to sit next to me on the couch. He keep crying saying I’m sorry over and over again. Not once letting go of that pillow. “Sorry for what?” I asked, still confused by my son’s voice. He paused for a moment and moved the pillow he was clutching away from his chest. I failed to see what he was getting at, but then I noticed the two very visible bumps on his chest along with cleavage. “What!?” I exclaimed, “Silent what is…this?” Then it clicked… “Y-You were the mare from the cafe yesterday.” I stuttered, my son just nodded without saying a word, and gave me look that wouldn’t be out of place on somepony fearing for their life. “H-How?…W-Why? W-Why would you do this to yourself?” “...” My son just remained silent for a moment, “B-Because I-I wanted to be a mare…” I was a loss for words, was this why? All those feminine habits he picked up as a child. “It’s a spell…one I’ve been using for the past two years…” He said that so simply. “T-Then why can’t you just undo it with another spell?” I asked. He…She just shifted uncomfortably. “I…can’t.” She answered, after a moments pause, “I used it last night to get rid of those…feelings, and I couldn’t stay awake long enough to wait so I could cast the counter spell. I-I’ve been like this too long and now I’m stuck like this.” “What feelings?” I inquired, he…no she lowered her head. “T-The ones telling me I’m a mare, not a stallion.” She finally answered, trying her hardest not to break down in tears, “I-I…I-I…couldn’t help it, when I-I found out about that spell…I-I thought it would make those feelings go away…” “...” I sat there speechless, unsure of what to even say. “I-I tried so hard to ignore them…” She continued, “I-I tried my best to carry on like nothing was wrong…I-I even tried to find some sort of balance…” She hesitated, “I-I was fine for a while…but then…I began to spend more and more time like this…and before I knew it I had a job and a coltfriend…” A coltfriend? She must mean that pegasus from the photo. “What about university?” I asked. “I was still attending as a stallion…” She paused again, “but I had to register that I knew this particular spell…in the event I messed up the spell.” “Why the hay would they teach you such a spell?” I asked angrily, this didn’t make any sense, “This spell is clearly dangerous.” “I met the qualifications to...” She answered simply, “It’s a basic enchantment, and the spell takes no real effort to cast. The challenge of the spell comes from knowing how to cast it correctly with out mistakes and knowledge of what you want changing. It’s a basic shape shifting spell that’s based off what the changelings can do. Simple alteration magic…that’s why there’s anatomy books on the shelves over there.” “Just how…complete is this change?” I inquired, dreading the answer. “...” She hesitated, “I-I can go through anything a mare can Mom…” She paused again, “I’m a mare in every sense of the word.” She looked at me teary eyed. My…daughter looked so frightened, a stark contrast to the mare I saw yesterday at the cafe. Then something clicked… “That would explain all the times I caught you with my make up…and oh dear Celestia…” She winced at my realisation, “It isn’t just the spell…this has been going on since you were a colt.” She just held her pillow closer to her as she slowly nodded. “Who else knows…” I hesitated to ask, but I needed to know. “Outside you, and the head of student relations…” She paused, “only my closest friends Vani, Hazel and Cori, my boss and my coltfriend Frost.” I sighed, there must be something I can do to calm my…daughter. Ah maybe that would work. “Tell me about him.” I asked. She blinked, and soon spoke up with a small smile. “He’s…amazing,” She started, “We first met at university…and then at the cafe were I work…when I was a mare…soon after we started dating, then…” She started blushing. “WHAT!?” I leapt up from my seat and shrieked, “YOU’RE A COLTCUDDLER!?” “I-I’m bi…” She corrected nervously, “I-I’ve known for a while…” “...” I just stood there not even knowing what to say. I took a moment to regain my composure, “It’s Friday right? Get dressed we’re going to see a doctor. We clearly need to get you checked out at the very least.” My…daughter nervously nodded and went to her bedroom to get changed. “She must hate me…” I muttered, the silence of my room was deafening, “and now she wants me to see a doctor.” I sighed, “Maybe it’s for the best.” I took my time to do my mane and make up, I picked out a pink lace bra and panties. Fastening the clasps of my bra, I walked over to my wardrobe and decided on a pale blue summer dress, a black choker and some matching 1 inch heels. “Are you nearly ready yet?” I heard Mom shout impatiently. I opened the door and stepped out. She had taken a step back in shock when she saw me… I couldn’t believe what I was seeing, before me was my…daughter wearing a pale blue summer dress that hugged her figure ended mid-thigh, matching 1 inch heels, a black choker, a silver necklace and a matching bracelet. Her mane was tied back in a loose ponytail, and her face was lightly made up. She had decided on some mascara that was a darker shade blue compared to her fur, some black eye liner and a light pink lipstick that shimmered faintly in the light. “H-How do I look?” She asked nervously, her blush deepening. I sighed and gave a wry smile. “You must have had so much practice to do your make up this well…” As much as I hated to say it, my son did make a beautiful mare. “Come on, lets get you to the doctor.” The journey to the doctors was a quiet one, the only thing breaking the silence of the walk there was soft clicking of my heels as I walked and the murmurings of passers by that I recognised as other students of my university, a few being from my own class. My mother was well known amongst some of the staff at the university due to being in the same classes as she was when she was my age. “Is that Silent?” I heard one ask her friend. “Wait isn’t that the mare who served us at the cafe the other day?” The questions continued as we walked by. The journey there was thankfully short. The doctors was exactly how you would imagine it, clean, organised and well clinical. The only thing breaking the monotone was the occasional plant that decorated the foyer. “Hello how can I help you today?” The nurse at the reception asked. “Yes I would like to have somepony take a look at my…son here.” Mom gestured at me, I frowned at how she referred to me. “It would appear my son has gotten himself stuck like this using some spell he was taught.” “What’s her name and I’ll book you in.” The nurse looked at me and gave me a small apologetic smile. “I-It’s Sapphire Shine.” I answered, Mom frowned again. “No it’s Silent Passion.” She corrected impatiently. The nurse gave my Mom a disapproving look. “Alright I’ve booked Ms Shine, the doctor will see you with in the next half an hour.” We took the appointment ticked and sat down in the waiting area. “Why did you out me like that Mom!” I asked, Mom turned to me looking cross, “I know you heard some of the ponies talking about me on the way here.” “Well there’s no point of hiding it now is there?” She countered, “They’ll soon find out anyway when you go back to your class tomorrow. Why did you answer with that false name anyway?” “B-Because that is my name.” I answered back sharply, “It’s what’s written down in my records…including my medical ones.” “It’s in your records!?” She responded angrily, I nodded. “I had to…” I continued, “in the event of this happening. How do you think I was able to get a job or go on campus grounds without anypony stopping me.” The rest of the waiting was done in an uneasy silence between us. “Ms Sapphire Shine?” The doctor asked, I nodded, “This way please.” The good doctor was a tall stallion, brown fur, black mane, beard and tail, green eyes that were hidden behind some stylish sunglasses, aside from that he wore the typical doctor’s attire. He led us into his office, sat down at his desk and gestured us to take a seat. “Now Ms Shine what seems to be the problem.” He asked. “I used the gender shifting spell and…I fell asleep while I was waiting for the 1 hour cool down for the counter spell. I’m stuck like this because I slept in this body for more than 8 hours.” I answered truthfully. “Why did you feel the need to cast the spell before falling asleep.” He inquired, a brow raised in curiosity. “...” I hesitated, “I was in the shower, and…those feelings of being uncomfortable in my male body came back. I used the spell so the feelings would go away and not worry my Mom.” “Some idea that was….” Mom added sarcastically. “Mrs Gleam…” The Doctor spoke up, giving my mother a stern look “Your daughter’s dysphoria is no laughing matter.” “Well couldn’t it be a side effect of that spell she was using too much?” She countered. “The spell doesn’t cause symptoms like that.” He answered, “I trust she’s already explained how the spell works to you?” Mom nodded. “Well I want to know is why he was allowed to learn it!” Mom said flatly, clearly angry at the situation. “Because your…pardon me Ms Shine…son went through all the procedures required of her to allow access to be even taught it.” He explained. “What procedures?” She asked. “The mandatory therapy required to allow her access to the spell for treatment.” Mom looked horrified. “T-Therapy…” She stuttered in shock, “B-But my son has always been the picture of mental health, why would he need therapy?” “...” I looked away ashamed, “I-I wanted to know why I was feeling the way I was…I-It was getting…bad.” “Ms Shine are you okay with your mother looking at your medical file.” The doctor asked, I nodded. He got up and typed up something on the office computer, after a brief pause he turned the screen to face my mother. “Just, what am I looking at here?” She asked confused. “In simple terms, it’s the records of your daughter’s physical and mental health, and how many times she’s been here to this hospital in the past two years.” He answered, Mom remained silent as she read through my record. “Let’s see…” She muttered, “oh my…treated for self harm, bouts of depression…was recommended to see therapist. Therapist diagnosed the self harming and depression was due to bouts of dysphoria…Oh there’s more…” “Oh no…” I muttered blushing. “A pregnancy examination!” Mom looked at my furious, “Silent what the hell!?” “...” I could feel my blush deepen, “I-I panicked after Frost told me he didn’t have protection…and…I was too drunk to use my magic for a contraceptive spell.” “I-I raised you better than this!” She screamed, “I didn’t raise you to be some little hussy who got knocked up in her teens!” “I-I’m not a hussy!” I shrieked back, tearing up, “I-I don’t sleep around! At least not with anyone outside my herd!” Mom looked at me speechless, she wasn’t used to me firing back at her like that. “A herd!?” She gave me stern look, “I-I just don’t know were to even begin…” “Is it really that surprising?” The doctor spoke up, “Herding is fairly common in Sapphire’s age group. I know open relationships aren’t exactly well thought of, but it is fairly normal for some relationships to start out like that or become one.” “Just how many in this herd?” She asked me bitterly. “Four,” I answered simply, “Myself, Frost, Vani and Cori…my co-workers in other words. We’re only a herd in the loosest term of it anyway.” “What?” Mom looked at me confused. “In other words, Vani and Cori only join me and Frost from time to time.” I explained further, “Vani and Cori are friends with benefits, while Frost is my significant other.” “...” Mom looked at me, “Just how much have you kept from me…” “That’s everything…” I answered back, “The past two years I’ve been going to university as a stallion and at my job or my free time I’ve been living as a mare.” Mom sighed, and looked to the doctor. “Is there anything you can do to reverse this?” She pleaded. “Sadly there isn’t.” He replied solemnly, “Your daughter is stuck as she is for the rest of her life. What has happened to her if fairly common occurrence to ponies who are allowed to learn the gender shift spell. Sapphire even signed the required paper work, that she understood the potential risks and dangers of using this spell.” “...” Mom just looked down at the floor, unsure of what to say. “M-Mom?” I asked, “Mom it’ll be okay…I’ll manage.” “Silent…no Sapphire…” Mom spoke up, “You know I have some…opinions about ponies like yourself, but just give me some time. I’m going to pack my things and take the first train home.” “M-Mom…” It was all I could get out before she walked out the office. After a moment of silence the doctor asked if I was going to be alright. “...” I paused, “I-I’ll be fine. She just needs time.” I got back home an hour later…Mom was already long gone. Most likely already on the train back to Ponyville. It was quiet, not something I wasn’t used to already but this was a different kind of quiet…the kind that screamed I was all alone. “A note?” I picked it up curious, unfolded it and began to read. Dear…Sapphire, I’m sorry but I have to leave. I know you’ll have some tough times ahead in regards to your new situation, but with every thing I’ve learned you kept hidden from me…I just can’t even look at you right now…I don’t hate you, you know I love you…it’s just this is too much for me. Please just give me some time and…come home when you’re ready to talk, and bring your coltfriend as I want to meet the stallion, who my…daughter has fallen for. Love Mom. I read through the note again and again…and I broke down crying. As soon as I calmed myself down enough I picked up my phone and called Frost…I didn’t want to be alone right now. //-------------------------------------------------------// Adjustments part 1 //-------------------------------------------------------// Adjustments part 1 I was glad my coltfriend was there for me when I needed it, he was such a sweet thing. He stayed with me the entire night just to make sure I was alright, I wish I could have stayed in his arms and not have to go into university today for class. “Will you be alright?” He asked, “I know we have different classes, but I want to make sure you’ll be alright.” I gave him a soft warm smile, before speaking up. “Vani will be with me today in class.” I said, “She’ll make sure I’ll be okay.” “Do you want me to accompany you on the way to class at least.” I nodded blushing. “I’d like that.” I replied softly, “Just let me get ready, and we’ll get going.” I picked out a simple outfit, a plain baby blue t-shirt that showed of my large chest, some form fitting jeans that clung to my wide hips. I wasn’t wearing anything fancy underneath, just a black bra and matching panties. I did my make up, did my hair and put on a my choker. Frost whistled at my appearance and we both headed off to the campus grounds. Admittedly I was nervous, who wouldn’t be in my situation. I could hear the faint mutterings of various students as we made our way to my enchantment and practical theory class. “You sure you’re gonna be okay Sapphire?” He asked, I nodded slowly. “This was going to happen eventually…” I replied, “At least the staff here aren’t giving me strange looks.” I gave Frost a quick kiss, “I’ll be fine, I’ll see you after class…I love you Frost.” He returned my kiss and gave me a small reassuring smile. Once he left I took a deep breath and headed into the classroom. The professor who taught the class took a quick glance at me and gave me an understanding smile. The rest of the students in the class looked at me in dead silence. “S-Sorry I’m late…” I spoke up finally, “I-I’ve gone through a lot in the past two days…” I didn’t elaborate further. The professor gave me a nod. “No need to explain,” she replied, “Ah what do I call you…Ms?” “S-Sapphire Shine,” I answered, she gestured me to take my seat next to Vani. Without another word I quickly made my way to my seat, the gaze of some of the other members of my class never leaving me once. “Sapphire, you okay?” Vani asked me looking concerned, “What are you doing in class like this?” “I-I’m stuck like this…” I stated simply, “My Mom found out about me…” A look of realisation washed over Vani’s face in understanding, she gave me a sympathetic smile. “It’s okay, I understand.” Vani reassured me, “I know Cori and Hazel will have your back.” “T-Thank you.” I gave her a warm smile, “That means a lot to me.” The rest of the class was mostly uneventful, at least outside of a few curious looks I was getting. Once the professor was done giving the lecture of the correct application of enchantments with alchemy, quoting an incident involving a over reactive crystal that’s highly sensitive to magic that happened a few years back. Many of my classmates crowded around me and Vani. Clearly wondering who I was, or if they had figured it out wondering why I was clearly a mare now. “Hey it’s the mare from the cafe.” One of them spoke up, I recognised him from the other day, “Wait is that Silent?” It finally clicking in their heads after one of the other students connected the dots. Everyone turned back to me, I honestly wanted to hide. “Y-Yes it’s me…” I answered honestly, blushing heavily, “I-I…” I paused trying to find the words to explain my situation. “Wait you’ve been the mare the rumours have been about this entire time?” Another stallion spoke up before I could continue, I just nodded there wasn’t any point in denying it now. The reaction I got was mixed, a few looks of disgust, some understanding but the most interesting reaction I got was the ashamed blushes I got from a lot of the stallions, a few were slapped upside the head by some of the mares next to them, giving them an angry look. “Okay…” I looked a bit confused at that particular reaction, “I can understand the other looks but that?” “Oh I wouldn’t worry about that.” One of the mares spoke up, “They’re just embarrassed that they were thinking of you whilst having a bit of…alone time.” “W-What!?” I cried in embarrassment. Vani just burst out laughing at my expense. “V-Vani!” I whined, “It’s not funny.” “Oh it’s not that.” She replied amused, “Welcome to the club, they did that to me and Cori as well.” “All humour and jokes aside…” Another of my class mates spoke up, “Why? Why do this to yourself?” “...” Everypony was looking at me awaiting my answer, after a moment of hesitation, “I-I’m a mare…even if I was born a stallion. I’ve been using a spell so I could be the mare I’ve always wanted to be, but I ended up spending too much time like this and now I’m stuck…though I suppose this isn’t that bad all things considered.” After a while everypony decided to leave me alone, but I did hear a few unpleasant comments from some of the ponies in my class. They were thankfully shut up quickly by some of my class mates who sympathised with me. “You okay Sapphire?” Vani spoke up looking a little concerned, “You look like you’re a bit on edge right now.” “I’m…fine.” I sighed, “Just a little nervous given the situation, you saw the looks some of them were giving me…” “Yeah” Vani nodded, “Just ignore them, they’re just being a bunch of closed minded assholes.” Her expression softened, “How did your mom take it?” “...” I hesitated, “Not very well Vani, she went back home yesterday after she insisted on taking me to the doctors. I think finding out about the therapist was the last straw to be honest.” I can’t say I wasn’t surprised in all honesty, my mom’s reaction was about what one could expect from somepony given the circumstances. It still hurts that she just up and left like that. I was snapped out of my thoughts by the sound of my phone ringing. “H-Hello?” I answered, “M-Mom!?” I was surprised to hear her voice. “My first class of the day has just finished…so no I’m not busy.” Another pause, “Have you told anyone else in the family?” I frowned, “I see…how did they take it?” I sighed not liking what I heard, “No Mom…I don’t think I’ll be coming home any time soon…I think you’re right we both need sometime to adjust…I-I’ve got to go Mom.” “...” Vani gave me a concerned look, “I take it the rest of your family didn’t take the news well.” “Mom and Dad are the most concerned, my little brother doesn’t really care aside from being outnumbered by me and Ruby, as for my sister she’s over the moon.” I shook my head and gave a faint smile, “I guess Ruby must have figured it out before hand.” “I’ve got an idea of what your mom is like, but what about the rest of your family?” Vani asked curious. “Well my dad is actually my step-father.” I elaborated, “He’s good guy, just really rough around the edges and a bit of a perfectionist. Like my mom he’s a bit old fashioned.” “A traditionalist?” I nodded, “Ah…What about your brother and sister then?” “Lapis is my younger brother, and the youngest of the three of us.” I explained, “He’s a bit hyper and well as much as mom tries to get him to study more, but much to her dismay he’s more interested in those games of his.” I laughed, remembering how many times he’s gotten in trouble from staying up too late, “As for my sister Ruby, well it should be obvious but she’s the middle child of the family, She and Lapis clash a bit but that’s siblings for you. Aside from that she’s really into her fashion.” “What happened to your biological father then?” Vani asked, “Did he die or something?” “I don’t know” I shrugged, “He just up and left one day and never came back. I remember my parents arguing a lot so that might be the reason why.” I looked at the time, “C’mon Vani we’ve got to get to the next class.” The rest of the day was surprisingly uneventful, I got the occasional look or noticed a few ponies having some hushed words. Knowing my luck it’ll be all over campus by the end of the day. “Still a bit worried?” Vani spoke up, gesturing to the small group of ponies muttering to themselves. “No more than I am already.” I answered, “C’mon, we’ve got to get to work…” Author's Note Bit of a shorter chapter, but that's due to commission work keeping me busy. //-------------------------------------------------------// Mother, Son and Vanity (CW: Futa on Female, Genderswap, Slight Cum Inflation) //-------------------------------------------------------// Mother, Son and Vanity (CW: Futa on Female, Genderswap, Slight Cum Inflation) It was clear sunny afternoon, the streets were busy as it usually was on the weekends. Everypony was going about their day as it was the norm in Canterlot. The train station was just as busy, families seeing relatives off, others waiting for family or friends, and the occasional couple embracing after being away from each other for so long. I was waiting for my mother, passing the time by reading a short romance novel though couldn’t tell by the cover as I had used a cover to disguise it as one of my university text books. All in all I looked the part of a studious colt who couldn’t keep his nose out of a text book. “Damn it Summer, just tell him you love him already.” I muttered under my breath. I was too engaged in reading my novel, I didn’t notice a mare standing in front of me. “Ahem!” She made her presence known, I jumped in surprise and blushed in embarrassment. She was a short curvy earth pony, whitish blue fur, ice blue eyes much like my own and blonde mane. She was moderately curvy with a generous bust and she looked younger than she actually was. “A-Ah hi Mom.” I greeted sheepishly, “I guess I got a bit too caught up in my reading.” “I swear if you were like this when you were younger you would have had done much better in school.” She laughed, “Now I can’t seem to keep you away from a book.” I couldn’t help but laugh given what I was actually reading. “I know, I can only imagine what dad would say.” I laughed, “Still though it’s good to see you Mom.” “Well it’s only fair I check up on you from time to time,” She said, looking a tad bit worried, “I swear I can’t help but worry, I mean a country boy like you in a big city all on your own.” “Jeez Mom, I’m doing fine.” I groaned, knowing where this is gonna go, “I’ve only been living here the past two years and I’m doing fine.” “Well, I’d be much more relaxed about it if you had someone to take care of you.” She continued, “You’re nearly 21 and I’ve still had no sign of a marefriend.” While that isn’t entirely true, aside from Frost I’ve had the occasional fling with two other mares Vani and Cori, who are some of my closest friends right now. “Really Mom?” I sighed, “Are we really going to have this conversation again.” I shrugged, “C’mon, I know a good coffee place nearby, I’ll treat you to something from there.” The cafe itself was a nice quiet homely place that was fairly popular with the locals and a some of the students of the university I attended. Mom couldn’t help but laugh when she found out I had a discount… “You’re that much of regular here?” She asked amused, a knowing glint in her eyes. “What?” I shrugged, “Just because I’m not interested in running the cafe back home doesn’t mean I can’t appreciate a good cup of coffee.” “It’s nothing,” She replied her eyes on one of the mares working the counter. “I think I know why you like it here.” I looked to where she was looking. A cute white furred unicorn mare with a black mane and tail with red streaks, blue eyes and a decently curvy figure. She caught my gaze and returned a warm smile. “Oh Vani?” I asked, returning the smile before I turned back to face my mother, “We’re in the same class.” “Oh I’m surprised you haven’t asked her out yet.” Mom inquired, giving me a sly look, “Then again you have always been too shy when it comes to mares, I wouldn’t mind seeing you settle down with someone like that.” I had to hold back a laugh, Mom would kill me if she knew Vani and Cori occasionally joined Frost and I in the bedroom. Hell she’d kill me alone if she knew about Frost. Mom isn’t really fond of…open relationships like that ‘herding’ I think they called it. “Hmm I’m sure you would.” I deadpanned, “I take it you’re gonna be looking around the city during your stay? I still have classes to go to during the week, not to mention my job.” “I figured I’d check out the local sights.” She paused, “What exactly do you do? I know you’ve got pay rent for that apartment and all that, but I don’t think you’ve told me what you did for a living.” “...” I paused mentally cursing, “I do a bit of extra credit after class, it’s a programme the university has to get students ready for more full time jobs.” She gave me a skeptical look, but she accepted my answer. Not wanting to push it further. The rest of journey back was mostly uneventful, at least outside the group of ponies muttering about the rumours I was all to familiar with. “You okay?” Mom spoke up, “You know what they were talking about?” “Just some gossip going around at the moment,” I explained, dismissing her worry, “Just some silly rumour they’re obsessed with.” I knew exactly what they were talking about, and to be honest it was starting to get annoying. “What’s the rumour about?” She asked curious, I paused for a moment. “Something about some mare they’ve been seeing about the campus.” I answered, careful to not reveal too much, “I don’t see why their so obsessed with it.” “Well you know what they say about a mare with an air of mystery.” Mom countered, “Maybe they see something they like.” We arrived at my apartment and Mom took a quick look around. It wasn’t anything too impressive but it had the essentials. “You’ve even got a few plants here.” She exclaimed. “I figured the place could use a bit a colour.” I stated, she continued to look around and noticed the bookshelf. It was filled with various books covering subject relevant to my university studies, she looked through the names on the spines of the books. “Lets see…Advanced magical theory, An advanced guide to everyday enchantments, Magic addiction and how to deal with it, Enchantments used in cosmetics…” She trailed off, before stopping at a particular book she seemed to recognise, “Roses of May? Doesn’t your sister have this book?” “I-It’s a good fantasy series.” I stuttered, “W-What!? Am I not allowed a guilty pleasure!” Mom just gave me a knowing look and laughed at my embarrassment. She turned back to the bookshelf and shook her head. “Do you really need to have all these books?” She asked, “A good portion of them are about personal enchantments, I highly doubt your course demands you to know all this.” “You would be surprised,” I stated, “I need to be able to recognise enchantments at just a glance. A lot of common enchantments come under the alteration school of magic, some are used for wards and even the occasional seals.” “1001 spells to please your partner…” She said allowed, I swore under my breath. I could have sworn I hid that…”O-Oh wow, expansion, cum inflation…tentacles?” She shut the book with an audible thud, blushing profusely. “A-Are those really necessary to learn!?” “D-Doing enchantments as a living…well it just comes as being part of the job.” I explained blushing, “A lot of enchanting requires a lot of custom jobs.” I took the book from her and put it back, mentally cursing Vani for putting it there in the first place. Frost and Cori had a field day when they found it. “Uh-huh…” Mom just gave me questionable look. “Sure…” We were interrupted by the sound of my phone ringing. I sighed and picked it up. “Hello?” I paused, furrowing my brow in frustration, “Fine I’ll come in.” “Who was that?” Mom asked, wondering what would annoy me so much. “I’ve got to go into work, a dumbass co-worker of mine decided to take a day off without informing my boss first.” I sighed, “I swear how the hell does Blitz keep his job if he keeps doing this.” “Ah don’t worry about me then, I’ll just be making myself comfortable here.” Mom replied with a small smile. I reassured her that I wouldn’t be too late, and headed towards work. I met up with Vani at the cafe and after rushing into the employee changing room I did my usual enchants, put on my uniform and got to work helping Vani sorting the tables and taking orders. A few hours later well into the evening, our boss had already left leaving just Vani and me to tidy up after closing. “I swear I’m gonna kill him…” I muttered darkly, “How the hell does he keep getting away with this?” Vani just shrugged. “Blitz is doing something to keep in her good books, I wouldn’t be surprised if they are fucking each other.” Vani stated, undressing out of her work uniform. I couldn’t help but let my gaze fall on Vani’s soft plump backside. “Didn’t you have today off?” “Y-Yeah, I was supposed to have today off because my Mom is visiting.” I replied, Vani smirked and gave her ass a nice shake. She noticed where I was looking. “Ah…” Vani exclaimed, “No wonder you looked pissed when you came in.” She looked down smirking as she quickly closed the gap between us. She pinned me as our breasts pushed up against each other. “V-Vani?” I spoke not realising I was holding my breath. “Mmm how long has it been since it was just us Silent?” Vani asked, before kissing me, “I know you prefer to be called Sapphire like this, but like I said it’s just us. I’m sure Frost won’t mind if I helped you eased some stress…” She whispered in my ear, “Cock out now…relax and just let your princess take care of you.” I nodded and undid the enchantment on my lower region. Exposing my erect stallionhood to my occasional lover. “Y-You sure about this Vani?” She motioned me to hush, as she got on her knees and began kissing the tip and making her way down with each kiss. “Can’t have you facing your mom with a problem like this.” She said simply. “I swear what’s keep thing that son of mine out this late?” Silver Gleam wondered, she sighed, “I know he said he would be a few hours but this is ridiculous.” She shook her head and returned to reading 1001 spells to please your partner… “O-Oh my!” She exclaimed “F-Fuck!! Fuck!!!” Vani moaned, as I was thrusting deep into her against a nearby locker, “By Celestia fuck me Silent!!! Fuck your princess hard!!!” I chuckled being the…gentle-mare I was I happily obliged her. This wasn’t an unusual thing for us, a typical friends with benefits type of deal. While I am in a relationship with my coltfriend Frost. Vani or Cori would sometimes join us in a bit of kinky fun…blame the low birthrates of our society. While this type of relationship is quite frowned upon by some of the older generations, it’s acceptable for our generation…hell it’s even encouraged by someponies. “Fuck Vani!” I moaned, the next thing I did was throw Vani on a nearby bench and continued to slam into her in a mating press. “Y-Yes!!!” Vani screamed with each thrust, “Breed me!!! Breed me!!!” “Damn it Silent…” Silver worried, “It’s getting dark.” She wondered if this was a common thing for her son, reminding herself that this was most likely a part of living in the city. “If only he would settle down…” She mused, “I would have some grandchildren with in a few years.” “Oh by the sun knock me up!!!” Vani moaned, I had her back against the lockers as I was ploughing her from behind. “Vani…” I moaned, “I’m gonna…RGH!!!” I let out a loud moan as I shot my seed in to Vani’s womb. Vani instinctively used her magic to let her belly expand larger and larger. She looked more and more pregnant by the second. “Fuck yes!! Fill me!!! Fill my belly!!!” Vani moaned, I knew she was getting off to being filled like this, and I do mean she was getting off to this…Frost and I a sure this was a massive kink for her. “Fuck…” I sighed in contentment, a little tired. I took a moment to observe Vani as he laid on her swollen belly. I’ve filled her bigger than this before but right now she looked very heavily pregnant. “Thanks…I needed that.” “I-It’s no…” She panted, “…problem. Thank Celestia for contraceptive spells.” “I’d be up for another round, but I’m pretty sure Mom is wondering where I am right now…” I stated. Vani nodded in understanding. “Just give me a bit to recover.” She added, “Thankfully this’ll be gone by tomorrow. I’ll see you later.” I finished undoing the rest of my usual enchantments and headed back to home.
