READ THIS BEFORE CONTINUING:

While Starlight is away on a tour with Trixie, Twilight calls her other friends to the castle of friendship, where she wishes to use a shrinking spell she just learned to have the most epic game of hide and seek ever. Something goes wrong during the spell however, and teleports the mane six while still shrinking them to a mysterious new land. As Twilight begins to pass out after the teleportation and shrinking that occured, she swears she saw something green.

Meanwhile, Kabbu had just escaped the swamp's beast when he saw a purple glow appear as he entered the Ant Kingdom. This is when he discovers a strange purple creature with a horn and wings the likes of which no bug had ever seen before alongside a similar creature with just the wings. This leads Kabbu to help the two of them to the settlement nearby. And who knows, they may need the most help of all.

WHY DOES MY MIND GO TO THESE PLACES SOMETIMES?! I just randomly had a thought: What if Twilight and her friends suddenly were part of the story of Bug Fables: The Everlasting Sapling? And as such, you have this brain child of mine as a result. Now, I'm going to still have the actual bug fable characters more or less be themselves, but there will be some unique interactions between the main six and Team Snakemouth especially between Rainbow Dash and Vi.

...But seriously, WHY IS MY MIND LIKE THIS?! Also, this story has lesbian Twilight & Rainbow Dash. In otherwords, Twidash shipping. This will be the only lesbian pairing of the story. Again, my mind comes up with the strangest stuff sometimes.

I will also include certain side quests being completed either if they are a team member's request or they have story elements to them that I didn't feel like leaving out. This actually makes Leif's request special for those that have completed it. And I won't spoil why it's so special here in the long description.

WITH THAT SAID, here's a huge recommendation: IT'S VERY RECOMMENDED THAT YOU EITHER PLAY BUG FABLES FOR YOURSELF, OR GO WATCH A YOU-TUBE PLAYTHROUGH OF THE GAME TO AVOID MASSIVE SPOILERS. AND THIS GOES DOUBLE FOR LEIF'S REQUEST WHICH I HIGHLY RECOMMENDED SEEING BLIND!

I will give a second spoiler warning when I cover Leif's Request in this fanfic because I very much recommend experiencing said request blind. I will delete any comments that contain spoilers; marked or otherwise; so please keep the comment section spoiler free.

Why is there no Bug Fables series tag? I get that it's only one game, but come on fimfiction! This is the second crossover fic I've made where the video game series is NOT one of your tags. GET IT TOGETHER! Well since it's not, and I'm guessing none of the bug fables characters have tags either (someone let me know if they are here), here are some additional tags to keep in mind.

Maturity Wanrings:
Death & Non-consensual: While there is only one true on screen death that happens at the very end of Bug Fables: The Everlasting Sapling, there are some references to death within the game (no spoilers for where) and it is non-consensual with the ending death of the game.
Suicide/Self-Harm: This is also being marked due to the death I've mentioned that happens at the end of Bug Fables (No spoilers!)
Fetish: This is more so being marked to be better safe the sorry considering Leif has tentacles that they summon from time to time. Even if the game is rated E10+, I am playing things safe here and including this anyways because of said tenacles as I know if I don't, SOMEPONY might complain about it.
