Getting entranced by her enthusiasm and happiness he lookeed at her eyes with a small smile as he thought " well.. her eyes and smile are beautiful when she is like that i guess.. i guess that..."

"Hmpf ...hehe... he... hahahahahaha" he just bursted out laughing while holding his stomach

"Hmmm? What is so funny?" She got all flustered and embarrased almost pouting.

" its ... its just that *gasp* that i think i probably looked as enthusiastic with her as you are with me now... hahahahahaha" he said and laughed.

The mare while flattered in a way just got confused and while still embarrased just asked: "hmmm what.. what do you mean dear?"

"Its just... in that sense we are the same.... we both have a very enthusiastic love i guess but until now we have been rejected.... so i saw myself in you and that just made me laugh. That being said... you actually beat me in that regard though.. *giggle* afterall i will go out with you as a test drive at least". He said with a smile in his face

As she processed his words she relaxed and lost all shyness and just smiled.

"I knew i loved you for a reason." She burst out but quickly covered her mouth with a renewed red tint.

Spike just stood there shocked and red first but slowly smiled and bursted out in a whisped "wow, i... i like this... a lot".

The mare seeing that her her straight forwardness instead of repelling him, claiming to his face (accidentally) that she loves him didnt scare or turn him off but rather excited him made her happy, he was the first male that she liked that was not scared off due to her "coming off too strong" as her girl friends said to her a couple of times she got a thing for a stallion or two but never as strong as with spike. She did wait for him for almost 2 years afterall.

"You... you like... liked it? " she said in disbelief but with a smile of satisfaction in her face

"Yeah... i think i did" he said with a smile at normal volume this time.

As all this converstion took over a mare, a mane 6 member was walking to the castle for reasons only she knows until she saw the scene and her spike talking to a mare she did not know.

"In fact i ...i think i love your intensity and personality. This... this might actually work" he said in disbelief himself.

Rarity froze. Just stared seeing the scene unfold and burning her ears, eyes and soul in slow progression.

"So spikey... *she started to play with her hooves in shyness* now that we FINALLY are gonna go on a date...

Rarity's heart stopped for a second and unconsciously let out a small barely contained growl.

Huh? Both creamy and spike said looking at the source of the distant sound but when they looked all they could see was the towns people of ponyville going on with their lives even in the morning. While rarity had small rapid breaths hidding herself between 2 walls relatively close to the castle.

"I could swear i heard a growl" they both said

"Might have been your stomach" he teased with a smirk.

Getting red in the face she teased back "we...well a gentledragon should not let a lady be hungry no?~"

*smirk* " oh. It. Is. On!, i am soooo gonna make you eat the entire town's best food" he challanged her.

"Oh yeah? What a dear you are. Lets make it all the food from the Crystal empire as well" ~ she challenged back in a seducitve teasing manner.

They now looking at each other with a look of good sport mixed with seduction and chemistry andjust went ahead.

*raising his left arm* "shall we go then.... my lady?"

A crack formed in rarity's heart.

"Oh but of course ... my spikey wikey".

The crack just became bigger and made roots. her heart barely functional now.

She just silently went back to her home after seeing them leave with a blank expression. Smacked the door and let herself fall on the drama couch, but this time not making exaggerated movements or poses or voices just whispering as she felt herself slowly drowning in Herself for some reason. "what just happened? I just walked to apologize to him after seeing how not thinking about his feelings in his birthday affected him and now... he...he forgot about me entirely?".

*the crack goes deeper*

"Just like that?" she whispered

A chill runned through her spine

"Just... like that?" Her voice raised a little

"JUST LIKE THAT?!! She started to scream now

"JUST LIK-" she was about to scream until she moved her head indignant and faced the mirror.

"Just like me" she repeated again and again as ber brain processed everything and she looked everywhere but the mirror.

Her heart finally craked, as she looked through the mirror again

"Just like i did... as i do... all the time... to... him" she whispered lower and lower until.

"Is... is this how he felt... all this years?" She whispered while tears falled from her face.

Her heart is now in pieces.

No...no...NO....NO!!!...NOOOOO!!!!! She went from 0 to a 100 as she shook her head.

"No...." she fell to her haunches crying.

"Yes" a voice whispered in her ear...
