STAR WARS THE CORVETTE It has been 3 years since the destruction of the evil weapon the DEATH STAR and the remaining imperial forces dispersed into warring factions calling themselves the REMANENT. With the empire fractured the infamous Grand Admiral, THRAWN, has survived the attack on Lothal and took a standing as the head leader of the remnant. But as it all went down the Rebel alliance was reformed into the New Republic and had formed a unit of ragtag team of fighters who had fought in the battle of Endor. THE ALPHA UNIT, and as instructed by General LUKE SKYWALKER they begin a raid on the Fondor shipyards. Unknowing what awaits them in the shadow. A new type of Star destroyer awaits to destroy the unit... ABY 7, Fondor ship yards The vision came back as the Colonel of the unit had finally woke up, he looked at his officer cap that had the rebel alliance insignia on the front. Putting it on he was ready to begin this operation he got dressed and walked out to the hallway, looking around at busy soldiers who were wandering around for. Whatever they were doing of course. However, one of the men came towards the awakened colonel and was notified. "Sir, we are now coming out of hyperspace." "Has maroon and brown squadron been deployed?" The Colonel asked as the soldier nodded. "Yes sir, the fighters have been deployed." "Very good, lead the way to the cockpit." As the two headed down the hall, the walkway was now getting crowded with pilots who were reporting to their X-wings that were attached to the CR90. To give the run down here's what Alpha unit is. In ABY 5, the Alpha unit was formed to be a ragtag unit that served under the command of an appointed Colonel, as you had read. The Colonel's name is Colonel Daniels. He served in the battle of Yavin and Endor while being absent from Hoth as he was appointed to find a backup base which was Mon Cala. Only it wasn't official but was a good holdout. He was given the rank of Colonel after outsmarting a fleet of Star destroyers that was chasing a convoy of rebel shuttles. He was in a Nebulon B frigate at the time on a patrol in the outer rim when he encountered the shuttles that were carrying imperial scientists and defectors to the rebel cause. Along with pro-rebel mercenaries who were wanted dead. With the frigate, he couldn't face a whole fleet of one star destroyers, but three three star destroyers were way too damn many! So to get out of this, alive, he had made a plan that would sink all three of them in the cold harsh space. First, he deployed the green squadron and had them drive the Tie fighters away from the Star destroyers, he had his frigate make a total 180-degree turn towards the nebula field which for some stupid reason the star destroyers followed the frigate into the nebula. The Colonel, who rolled his eyes in stupidity, ordered the deployment of yellow squadron Y-wings and ordered them to fire Ion-torpedoes at the Nebula as the Colonel, after exiting the Nebula field, Ordered green squadron, which is A-wings, to jump to the rendezvous point. Before the imperial fleet master figured out what happened it was too late when the Y-wings fired the torpedoes at the nebula. The Star destroyers are burned to a crisp as their engines fried and the command post was also destroyed as one of them was so loose that it started falling on the Star destroyer munitions bay obliterating the entire Star destroyer and making the Nebula expand. With all three-star destroyers destroyed. The Rebel alliance handed the Colonel a promotion, as he was only a captain back then, which earned him the rank of Colonel while being given the Medal of Freedom. The Colonel was born in the imperial capital Coruscant, he was a child back then when emperor Palpatine declared the formation of the Galactic Empire and Order 66. He went to Yavin and enlisted in the rebel alliance. His first time on duty was when he was assigned to the Massassi division where he served as 2nd Lieutenant under General Dodonna which happened to be in the worse place at that time when Grand Admiral Thrawn attacked the group he served in at Atollon... He never forgot the amount of ships lost in that battle and even thought to himself that there was something they could've done to avoid the amount of losses. What was said and done there was more than the Colonel. There is the First Lieutenant. Leda, unlike her, was born in Alderaan the year after the Emperor announced the formation of the Empire. She made a rise in the ranks, but when she heard that her home planet was destroyed by the Death Star and that her parents were on the planet's surface when it happened... She felt rage and remorse... She felt responsible for leaving her parents on that planet when the Death Star destroyed it and now... It was just her... But while this horror and fear fell upon her she was assigned as the Colonel's First Lieutenant after the battle of Endor with the Alpha unit. With that, next was Jacob. He was unfortunately a Sergeant Major of the Alpha unit all because his father was a general. Why unfortunate you asked? Well, that was because he was a snob and even plotted to take over the squad but of course that was a limit. But while that was the case, he was born on the shipyard planet Kuat. Before his family considered joining the rebellion, his father left him to fight for the rebel alliance, when the imperial troops questioned his mother she distanced herself from her husband by calling him a scumbag and a traitor. Convinced by this, and ironically, she joined the imperial army leaving Jacob at an imperial Junior cadet academy on the planet of Lothal before being relocated to imperial-occupied Bespin, (After a rebel cell attacked the academy) after becoming a Lieutenant despite being slowed down by what he would later figured out to be Ezra Bridger, aka Spectre 6 of the Lothal cell, he was deployed in the frontline planets in Edu before being captured by a rebel scout force that happened to be lead by his father. Since then the whereabouts of his mother are unknown as some say that she currently serves as a meditating liaison for the Dathimirian witches for Admiral Thrawn. While some say she is currently acting incognito. Either way, it was unknown. Except to the annoyance of Colonel Daniels, when the worst news of his life came when he had about to put up with the damn insubordination of the Major Sergeant... While there are many more to introduce. It will be addressed later. Back to the present, the group arrives at the command center to oversee the operation that Luke Skywalker had assigned him and his unit to conduct. Noted at the fact that his unit works directly with Luke Skywalker, he kinda considers him as a crusader and a commander. He and Skywalker do have talks once in a while but not much often since Skywalker would be either training new Jedi or on some while ghost hunt for a dead man, either way when it comes to stuff like that the Colonel would stay away from the scene of things. As the Colonel stands in the center of the room, with his first Lieutenant standing on his right, the pilot gives the Colonel the alert. "Sir! We are now coming out of Hyperspace!" "Alright, ALL HANDS! MAN YOUR BATTLE STATIONS! THIS IS IT!" The Colonel shouted in the speaker as the Anti-fighter weapons were activated along with forward cannons. The ships come out of hyperspace with the Alpha unit fleet being comprised of ships. The Ships such as. 1 Nebulon B frigate, 3 CR90 Corvettes, 2 GR-75 medium transports, and 10 X and Y-wing squadrons deployed to the battle as the Colonel looked at the Frigate. "This is Colonel Daniels of the Rebel Alliance, all ships check-in." The Colonel speaks as the radio goes off with squadron leaders. "Colonel, this is a free squadron, standing by." "Tan squadron! Standing by!" "Alpha squadron, standing by!" "Rebellion captain Tearice of the flaming Hawk (Nebulon B frigate) at the ready." "New Gold Squadron, standing by!" As the call signs finished the Colonel gives the priority. "Y-wing squadrons, begin targeting fuel cells as they will start an explosive chain reaction and destroy the construction stations, X-wing squadrons, defend the bombers at all cost! GR-75 transports prepare to land troops in Fondor we're going to liberate the planet." "Roger that," "Roger that," "All fighters lock S-foils and attack positions." "Won't be long." As the fighter squadrons begin extending their fighter wings the Colonel gets a notification from his radar men. "SIR! ENEMY HAS DEPLOYED TIE FIGHTERS!" "ALL SHIPS SPREAD OUT AND ATTACK THOSE TIE FIGHTERS! Y-WINGS BEGIN YOUR MISSION!" The Colonel ordered as the CR90s began firing at the tie fighters and X-wing squadrons escorted the transports and the Y-wings while Tan's squad was engaged in a dogfight with Tie interceptors with 3 to 6 as the rest of the X-wings were dealing with other Ties. "EVASIVE MANUEVERS! TAN 6 WATCH OUT!" Shouted Tan 3 as the Ties are swarming Tan-6. "I CAN'T SHAKE THEM! AHGHHH!!" The Tie fighters blows Tan 6s X-wing to pieces as the debris smashes right inside a construction yard. "THIS IS FREE 4! WE HAVE INCOMING SHIELD SIGNATURES COMING FROM THE NORTH OF OUR POSITIONS! CAN SOMEONE GET A ID!" The Colonel hears this and looks at the radar personnel. "Where is it coming from.." He asked. "SIR THERES A WHOLE SQUAD OF THEM!" "Star destroyers?" He asked and they looked up to find.... "Oh, carabast! TIE DEFENDERS!" "SIR WE'RE COUNTING 20 SQUADS COMING TOWARDS US!" The room goes into sudden stress mode as a battle rages outside their windows as a CR90 on the right is having trouble shooting down Tie fighters. "THIS IS CAPTAIN YURI! COLONEL, WE CAN'T FIGHT THE TIE FIGHTERS THERE ARE TOO MANY OF THE- AGH!" The Colonel hears an explosion, looking out he looks in horror as a Tie bomber fires a torpedo at the command deck of the CR90 the entire front is shattered and blown, leaving the Corvette dead. "My god... ALL SQUADRON! FIGHTERS RETURN TO THE SHIPS NOW! THERE IS TOO MANY TIE FIGHTERS TO FIGH-" "SIR! A HUGE CELESTIAL OBJECT COMING BEHIND FROM THE..." "THE WHAT SOLIDER! WHAT OBJECT ARE YOU...." Before the Colonel could react he looked at the view as the battle was raging to find a nightmare in a ship.... "Oh no.. Oh my... Oh god.." The Colonel said to himself as the ESCLISPE superstar destroyer came behind the planet of Fondor, realizing this he shouted. "RETREAT! ALL SHIPS RETREAT!!!" He shouted but they were too late... Behind the death weapon was the Chimera which had been long repaired and reconstructed by the doomium that the Imperials raided Corellia for, Thawn stood watching the fleet being torn apart by his orchestrated ambush. After being freed from the planet of Peridea he had time to gain his bearings on the situation, however when he was informed that Palpatine and Vader were killed her was a bit puzzled, not because of their deaths, but rather the situation that occurred afterward when he was told that the empire he had commanded under collapsed, what further puzzled him was when he was also informed that when Project Stardust was completed the senate was disbanded. With what remained of the empire was the armament council of Commandants, although when Grand Moff Gideon was killed in Mandalore this fractured the council. However, it wasn't long when Admiral Palleon and later Brendol joined his cause forming a new empire. As he watched the destruction of Jedi Master Skywalker's plan, an officer approached him. "Grand Admiral Thrawn sir, gravity wells have been generated and our weapon systems are prepped. On your order sir." The Corporal said as Thrawn stared at the Nebulon Frigate and smirked. "You may begin the demonstration of this power, aim the frigate." He spoke as the Corporal saluted and stared at the targeting system with one of the officers as they conversed with each other. The Eclispse was already constructed in Fondor, the problem was it was left dead in space, although he could take it apart and smelt it down for additional resources he did always feel fond of the ambition of Palpatine's private design of the weapon. And perhaps it could fool the enemy into thinking that it is the flagship, and so, with its completed construction he now takes it out for a test drive. Back to the Colonel, he saw a great bright light excessing from the Eclipse SSD as it prepared to fire its death star-like laser on one of the ships, and it was pointing at the Nebulon B frigate. "CAPTAIN TEARACE! EVACUATE THE FRIGATE! IT'S IS AIMING FOR YOU!" The Colonel shouted, but it was too late as the laser fired on the Nebulon B frigate, exploding both the Frigate and third CR90 the Colonel looked on in horror that his entire unit was destroyed in a single oblivion... There was now one choice. "RETREAT! ALL CRAFT RETRE-" The Colonel was cut off as explosions ranged on the corvette, a Tie defender was shooting the CR90 to pieces as it aimed for the CR90 engines before firing a missile at it. "MISSILE INCOMING!" Shouted a crewman as the Colonel yelled. "BRACE FOR IMPACT!" The missile lands on the engine, exploding the entire butt of the Corvette, however, the only system that was not affected was the hyperdrive as the remaining X-wings try their best to fight off the Imperial enemy. The Colonel and the crew got on their feet as one of them hit their head on the coordinates in the navi-computer. The Colonel kept his balance and gave the order. "GET US OUT OF HERE NOW!" Without questioning the fact that the soldier hit his head on the Navi-computer he set the ship to hyperdrive, crossing his fingers that the enemy accidentally turned off the gravity wells he pulled the switch. "Sir! Rebel Ships are attempting to jump! Should we-" "Turn them off," Thrawn ordered which made the Imperial corporal confused. "Turn what off sir?" The Corporal asked as Thrawn turned towards him. "The gravity wells, Corporal. Turn them off." He ordered one last time as the Corporal gave Thrawn a neutral expression about it before pointing to the Gravity director to shut the wells down in a push of a button. In the blink of an eye, a single CR90 corvette, 6 X-wings, and 2 pairs of remaining Y-wings jumped into hyperspace. Left the Fondor system. The Corporal turned towards Thrawn in confusion. "Why did you let them go?" He asked. Thrawn smirked and smiled and turned to the outside of the command deck. "It's obvious that we can't shed anymore blood. We've already crippled them enough, and I have a feeling that they won't be far from the tracker we've planted." Thrawn answered showing a tracking device to the Corporal. As Captain Pellaeon came to the deck. "You'll be placed in charge of hunting the remains of the Alpha unit. Don't disappoint me. And as for you Corporal, you'll be with him as well." Thrawn informed which the Corporal looked a bit stressed. "Why sir?" The Corporal asked. "Why. To put it simply, you did a good job of being the imperial accountant and representative, it's only fair if you were mine in this style of warfare wouldn't you agree?" Thrawn answered which the Corporal nodded in understanding. "Very good. Now because of this attack repairs will be needed. Dismiss." As Captain Pellaeon left the room the Corporal looked at the destruction that Alpha unit had brought to the shipyards. And so begins the story, of the Colonel and his crew, as they travel to a mysterious place fighting off the forces of evil internally and externally on the planet called Eques. Being given the title of heroes on that planet with many ponies calling said heroes. The Corevette... Author's Note The Characters! Colonel Daniels - Head leader of Alpha Unit First Lieutenant Leda - Right hand women of the Colonel Sergeant Major Jacob - The Jerk of the unit Grand Admiral Thrawn - The Antagonist Captain Pellaeon - The 2nd Antagonist Corporal *You get to decide his name!* - Unsure of things Chapter 1: Landing (Remastered)The Corvette and the remaining Alpha Unit were now in hyperspace as the Corvette meanwhile was transformed into a medical ship, treating the injured men on board and pilots, and the pilots were given checkups one at a time before de-docking from the Corvette, although the pilots were all in perfect shape, they would've had to jettison the fighters in case one of them were injured from the explosion. As for the Colonel, he was walking down the hallways with his right-hand woman and Sergeant Major Jacob on his left, inspecting and assessing the damage caused on the corvette. So far the surviving CR90 had sustained damage in the thrusters, engines got a kick in the balls but still running, and the Bottom forward cannon was completely blown off as for the top cannon, it stayed attached and so did both the bottom and top Anti-fighter weaponry. As for everything else the hyperdrive was hit but it still could jump. However, the Colonel was concerned about how long the ship could stay in the air when one of the pilots came to him. "Sir, we are coming out of Hyperspace." "Already? Fondor is the farthest planet from there to Yavin. Right?" The Colonel asked which the pilot cringed. "Sir... We are not in Yavin." The Pilot informed as Colonel Daniels looked at him with a deepened expression. "Sir... I think we are in the new part of the galaxy..." The pilot informed again, as a map of the galaxy shows that they are at the half-unexplored part of the Galaxy. "Wait... Are you telling me that we went left instead of right? Because that's what I am getting here!" The Colonel yelled as the ship Pilot nodded aggressively as the Colonel rolled his eyes. "Colonel, if I may suggest maybe. We could find a sustainable planet here in this explored part of the galaxy just to be safe?" Lieutenant Leda suggested. The Colonel thought on her suggestion... Thinking about it now he turned towards the navigator who was behind Jacob the whole time when they were going down the ship hallway. "Make a scan for a pla-" "Consider it done sir, I've already conducted the scan and there is one planet on our left, but..." The Navigator paused. "But...?" The Colonel said. "There is sentient life on the planet and for some reason, there is some type of disturbance that's not been calculated.. It's as if this planet resonates with what General Skywalker calls "The force" or something. Either way. Maybe we can negotiate with. Whoever lives on the planet Colonel, of course, it's your call sir." The Navigator explained as the Colonel placed his fingers on his chin in a thought process of decisions. "Lieutenant? What are my choices here, and potential scenarios?" He asked. "Well sir, if I have to say, we could land and see if the locals are peaceful or not, if they aren't peaceful then we could be seeing an endless horde approaching us, if they are peaceful however, then this could benefit us greatly." "And if we didn't land?" The Colonel asked. "We would most likely die due to the limited food supply, and the fuel we have." The choices and scenario laid out before the Colonel gave him the perspective he kinda needed since the entire crew was watching and laying their eyes on the Colonel, including the patients and doctors/medics who happened to hear the entire conversation. Being on a new planet with the potential of being a new type of species, with potential new allies but also potential enemies. But in a situation like this through a long session of thinking, the Colonel turned to the ship pilot. "Contact the Remaining fighter Squadrons, and tell them we are making a landing on the new planet. Code name trout." The Colonel ordered, as the pilot ran down the hall before the maintenance crew came out of the engine room, all dust and blackened faced with concern. "Is something wrong Gerais?" Daniels asked as the head engineer turned towards him with worry. "Sir... The landing gears have been damaged... If you're doing a landing you may have to inform everyone for crash landing..." Gerais informed as the medical officials quickly took a shock and began preparing to strap the injured down as the entire ship went into total red alert. As for the Colonel's realization of this... "LIEUTENANT! GET THE CREW UNDER CONTROL! JACOB! GET THE INTERCOM CHANNELS AND TELL ALL CREW ON BOARD TO BRACE FOR A CRASH LANDING!" The Colonel ordered as Jacob quickly grabbed the intercom. "ALL CREW MEMBERS BRACE FOR CRASH LANDING! WE HAVE NO LANDING GEARS! BRACE!" Suddenly the ship sirens go off as alert sounds start blaring red. The Colonel ran down the halls but before he could arrive the ship started shaking which meant that they just entered the planet's ozone layer. So he grabbed onto something and braced for impact. Canterlot Celestia was heading out of her room as Luna was lowering the moon for the morning. However, the morning changed when the two heard a huge boom as if something had entered the atmosphere. Celestia assumed it was probably a meteor shower when she entered the throne room she heard Luna shout. "TIA! LOOK AT THE SKY!" The two sisters ran to the balcony where Luna pointed at a fireball that was heading towards the eastern side of the Everfree forest followed by what seemed to be metallic fireballs with a huge piece of fire. Assuming it was a huge meteor Celestia wanted to make sure that her ponies were not injured so she turned to one of her guard's ponies that were with her and her sister and ordered, while writing a message. "Find Shining armor and assemble an expedition and order them head to impact sight at once!" She ordered, while she handed the scroll to the royal guard messenger as he saluted and left with other royal guards. Celestia looked at the distance of the smoke rising as she stared at her sister with worry but at the same time with reassurance, something telling him that the impact was more of a blessing rather than a dread... TheCrash site The CR90 had crashed and landed safely, the damage only was the nonexistent landing gear, the bottom anti-fighter guns were now damaged severely, the Corvette sits at a -13 degree angle in a now land crater, but the ship is still standing and somewhat one piece. The X-wings and Y-wings landed beside the Corvette as the pilots hopped out despite the height and quickly climbed on the CR90. "Is everyone alright!" Squadron leader Dewy yelled as he helped some of his pilots up on the damaged Corvette to help the others inside. The Colonel got up from the ground, he noticed the lights were shut off so he turned towards his head engineer of the ship. "Get these damn lights back on!" Daniels ordered as the Head engineer got up with his crew and head to restore power to the ship's interior. Daniels then looked at Leda. "Get the base and settlement kit prepped and establish tents outside," Daniels ordered. "Yes sir! Right away." "Sergeant Major Jacob," Daniels called. "Yes sir?" Jacob replied. "Gather a recon unit. You'll be using these uniforms." Daniels ordered, which confused Jacob. "Are you sure you want to use THESE uniforms? We've never used them since-" "Scarif? I know that, but it's the only uniform we have until we can get a proper one, we're no longer in space so what's the point." Daniels explained as Jacob rolled his eyes in a defiant mood. "Fine. YOU TWO!" Shouted Jacob, as the two of the ship security men came to Jacob. "Yes sir?" One asked. "Put on these uniforms and come with me, we're doing a recon and you two are coming with me," Jacob ordered, to which the two shrugged. "Yes sir." As the three went inside the changing room lemme show you what the uniform is. As Jacob and the other two came out of the changing room the two crewmen liked what they were wearing, except for Jacob who hated this uniform. "God kill me now...." He said to himself, as he and the other two grabbed their A280 blaster rifles from the armory and headed towards the exit as the medical officials got by them. Daniels looked outside. It reminded him about how much Yavin looked like. Only it's brighter and more... Green. And peaceful too. Unfortunately, the ship he had used for almost his entire life happened to be the reason for the surrounding area to be a chaotic dirt and... But to describe it's like this. They are exactly at the borderline, the other side of the Everfree forest and near Ponyville. The area is inhabited by peaceful forest creatures like rabbits and birds. The surroundings for them are what you would call the most peaceful layer of the forest, except for the Timberwolves but they don't know about that and they probably won't when they establish the barrier protection. Jacob and the two men, who I will now refer to as scouts, set off on their journey to figure out where the sentient life is and to negotiate peacefully. Unknowing that fate will make that quick. Shining Armor was in the city with the guard unit patrolling the streets. He was doing his usual duty as the captain of the guard when a messenger was coming towards him with a message. He puffed and huffed, catching his breath after having to run through lord knows what amount of castle steps. Anyways, the messenger gathered the strength and handed him the letter to Shining Armor. "Is something wrong?" He asked. "Sir, It's from Princess Celestia, a meteor has hit the east side of the Everfree forest!" The messenger informed, which made Shining armors ears perk up. "Is Ponyville safe!" He asked in a panic while grabbing the messenger by the armor, shaking the tar out of him. "It's fine sir! It only hit the forest, the princess wants you to search for anyone who may have been caught in the impact zone. And perhaps recover the rock?" The messenger read from the scroll, which Shining was a little determined. "I'm sure it'll be easy after it's just an oversized space rock. But hopefully, nopony was caught in the explosion though.." He turned towards his guard and called out orders as they formed a unit-sized group and began their journey on their way to the crash site. Unfortunately, that "rock" he says is nothing of a rock... Other than being a ship. The Interdictor class Star destroyer The Command bridge of the Star Destroyer is lit up with stormtroopers and imperial officers as some made paperwork, some made reports, while some up and looked at a map for some reason. Captain Pellaeon and the Corporal were in the planning room to decide their next course of action. "So if I was the rebel scoundrels who bombed a shipyard.. Where the hell would I be..." The Corporal said to himself, as Pellaeon rolled his eyes. "Obviously not in your head Corporal.." "Gee thanks Captain obvious.." The Corporal disrespected. "I'll have you know that this 'Captain obvious' is the right hand man of Thrawn may I remind you." Pellaeon reaffirmed, as the Corporal looked away from the man and looked at the map. "Maybe they escaped to one of these planets... Naboo maybe?" The Corporal asked, which Pellaeon replied. "Naboo is not a target or we'd get a message about it, as we speak the secret weapon is about to be used there." Pellaeon informed, which the Corporal sat down on a chair in confusion. "But what else would they be... After all they couldn't be that far right? Right?" The Corporal thought to himself. "Well.. If you figure it out let me know, I've got a life too." Pellaeon said, as he left the room with Storm commandoes, which are his body guards. The Corporal imagined himself once to be a successor for Thrawn but if he is having trouble with this then he fears he doesn't have the potential... Maybe he should think not harder... But maybe... Smarter.. Temporary base: Trout The Colonel was sitting on the grass, regarding the grass stains it'll probably leave on his pants. He looked out at the peaceful wilderness as he went pondered how everything went from being barbaric to a absolute war freaks... As he pondered the years of war since the clone wars he begged the question of the new fact that he and the others will have to figure out a way to coexist with the new alien race, if anything it makes his head fry at the fact of how many alien races had the galaxy discovered and his entire unit is just all human for some reason. Except for one who's name was Maz.. Used to be a smuggler and pirate before she up and joined the rebellion, while he past is.. Unknown at the moment at least her spirit is in the right place.. I guess.. But she always contemplated about settling somewhere and start a buisness, like a bar. Unfortunately we can't get a transmission through but we have established tents and forward defense turrets. Sir." Leda informed, in which Daniels nodded. "Very good Lieutenant, but we're trying to befriend the sentient species here you know." The Colonel argued, but Leda came back. "It's good to have some type of back up plan sir." She replied as the Colonel chuckled. "Very good, since we can't get a transmission up the best we could do is repair the CR90, lord knows how banged up she is. Atleast we have fighters for now to work with but until then, have Dewy keep our crew men in shape and have someone appointed to be head of a Self-defense unit. At once." The Colonel ordered, as Leda was heading out before Dewy came right towards Daniels. "Dewy? Well it's either coincidence or stupidity, what is it?" The Colonel asked, which Dewy smirked. "Sir! There's T-2B tanks in the Corvette storage area!" Dewy reported. "WHAT!?!" The two yelled in unison. Shining Armor royal guard Shining Armor and the Equestrian Royal guard were now heading to the other side of the Everfree forest, Shining Armor had to visit his sister to check up on her. So looking at his second in command he ordered. "I have to check on my sister, can you keep a eye on the group while I'm away?" Armor asked, which the S.I.C. Replied. "Yes sir." "Thanks, Wing blast." As he left the guard he scanned his sisters tree home, surprised at the fact that his sister was not kidding when she said in one of her letters that she lives in a literal library. "Heh, definently her home." He said too himself, as he knocked on the door. As he waited a little the door opened but no one was there, he entered inside and then he was tackled by his beloved sister who was glad and excited to finally see him again. He smiled. "Glad too see you too Twily :D" "What brought you here! How's Celestia! How is Luna? Ooh ooh! Are you-" "I'm doing fine Twilight," Shining Armor chuckled while Twilight got off of him, and started jumping around like a pogo stick on a windy day. "But what brought me here is actually another story.. In fact I came to check on you and the town." He answered, which Twilight tilted her head a little. "What do you mean? Did something happen?" She asked, which her big brother replied. "A meteor had hit Equestria, while nothing of damage wasn't reported, Celestia had ordered me and my group to check it out.. And maybe collect some samples if we could. Now I'm not a comic book reader but I think space rocks usually has something attached to it." He explained. Twilights brain blows up and shattered and her eyes dilated. "TAKE ME!" She yelled, grabbing on Shining's.. Armor? (Look man that's how they named him cut me some slack here :( ) Anyways, Shining would take her but feeling concern of how dangerous this could be he could maybe ask Celestia? After all it might be a open experience and maybe a win-win type scenario. "If Celestia agrees atleast?" He answered, in which Twilight jumped the gun and wrote a entire rushed letter and sent it off with Spikes fire breath. Shining rolled his eyes in a comical way. "You know she won't answer the message for a good whi-" Suddenly the message came back which literally says. "K." And in excitement Twilight yells. "EEEEEEEEEE!!!! I GET TO COME WITH YOU! YAY! YAY! YAY! YAY!" She jumped around Shining, which he just grins but gets a little strict for a moment. "Alright, but you have to stay close with me at all times. Faust knows what this rock could have." Shining warned. Twilight nodded her head in understanding as the two left the house. "OH! Almost forgot about you Spike!" Twilight realized. "Gee thanks..." He fumed, before being lifted by Twilights magic and her satchel. The three left the house while she locked the door. Unknowing what adventure they're going to have with this one. The Storage area The bottom deck doors opened as the Colonel, the First Lieutenant, and Dewy entered the hallway which contains the armory room and the storage area. Maz took notice at the three while she was polishing a blaster. "Well, I see someone other than the snob showed up here." She said, cleaning the inside of the blaster. "Good to see you to Maz, hey Maz? Since when did we have T-2B tanks in the corvettes?" The Colonel asked. "I don't have a clue, but that to say a person came to me and asked if I wanted the tanks loaded in the Corvette, I obviously answered yes and they brought 7 of them in here." Maz explained. "SEVEN!? THEY BROUGHT SEVEN OF THESE OLD RUST BUCKETS IN THIS SHIP!??" Dewy yelled. "DEWY! Have some sense! Your a squadron leader for crying out loud, and Maz, next time someone brings ships to the Corvette have them go through customs first!" Daniels lectured. "Very well, besides my time in the rebellion is almost up." Maz said as she polished another blaster rifle. "Sir, if we have seven T-2B tanks? What do you think we should do with them?" Leda asked. "Well obviously don't dismantle them, we'll probably need them in case we have to defend ourselves from the enemy or even the locals for that matter." The Colonel answered, which Leda nodded in agreement. "But don't we have fighter wings? We have 6 X-wings and 2 Y-wings at our disposal." Dewy protested. "Do we even know how advance this race is? Or even better, how territorial they are!" Daniels replied. Dewy stood back, while Daniels looked at the tanks and then turned towards Leda. "I'm placing you in charge of the temporary armor brigade until we can safely assume that this planet is safe. Is that understood?" The Colonel ordered. "Yes sir, thank you sir." She replied. "Good, now if you'll excuse me, I have to oversee the recon operation that is going on as we speak." Daniels exited the room as Leda looked at the old tanks of the past. "Soooo... How do we get them out?" Dewy asked. "No clue...." Chapter 2: Recon and LoveAuthor's Note Just noticed how well the story had progressed so, imma give yall a little something. So pissed that he can piss on the map and still be a Corporal because of how pissed he is. It's now been 10 hours since the search operation and so far he can't find a single trace of where Alpha unit is. He asked Pellaeon to send a group to Yavin, to Hoth, to Bespin, and hell he even had ask to send them to Bakura before Pellaeon told him to either find a absolute spot, or piss off. The Corporal sat down on his chair and thought.. Of course that was before a strange individual came inside the room in which the Corporal rolled his eyes. "And what do you want..." He said to the individual as he looked back at the map, confused and pissed. "I think I might know where your rebels are..." The CR90 crash site As the rebel alliance personal got to work on establishing a forward base of operations, the Colonel was overseeing a construction that was taking place when he noticed that Jacob was coming back with the other two recon men. "Anything?" The Colonel asked. "Nothing.. At least so far, we only covered about 2 miles from here..." Jacob reported, looking over his shoulders. "Well, then do 4 miles, hell do 100 miles if you like, just make sure you can find something useful here!" Daniels ordered. "Yes sir. Sir." Jacob saluted and left the Colonel. While this, he hears the sound of T-2B tanks finally working as 5 out of 7 was now being rowed, however Leda scratched her head so she yelled. "Colonel! We might need help here!" The Colonel came towards Leda in a quick and fast pace, dodging the pass byers and the crew, that are establishing the base outside the Corvette. He came to Leda, which beside her was Dewy. The two had confused faces. "You called?" The Colonel asked. "Yes sir, do you know what row type we should put these.. These expired tanks?" She asked. "Have the T-2Bs be in rows of 2 with the 7th one being in the front. And if you like, you can try to modify them." Daniels insisted. "But sir! We can't just use all our resources into one project!" Leda protested. "That's your decision, plus use that head of yours, you've came this far as a officer, maybe use your brain for assistance and come back to me hm?" Daniels finished, walking off from the two before stepping backwards towards Dewy. "One more thing." Daniels remembered. "Yes sir?" Dewy asked. "Have your droids be deployed to assist the other droids who are having to wield both our ship and this base. And after that get your fighters in a decent organized manner." Daniels ordered. "Yes sir!" Dewy replied, marching towards his squad mates about the order. So far it has been 11 hours in space and 7 hours at the new planet, the sun is still up but it is starting to set, and the Corvette is still at the place it crashed landed at and reports had also come in so far of no injuries. As for Jacob and his recon unit, they scouted only 1 out of 100% of the Everfree forest and are happen to start their scouting again. As for Leda, she managed to figure out how to pilot the T-2Bs and is continuing to pilot one until she can know all to teach it to her men, as for Dewy. The fighter squadrons are currently off-duty due to the potential risk of Imperial presence, so for safety measures they have to keep the fighters shut off. But until they could even confirm Imperial presence the remains of Tan and Maroon Squadron stays on the ground. The droids meanwhile, had been hard at work on wielding and cargo managing along with translator cyborgs being activated in case they have to translate a new language. Until then, they are assigned to hold nails for the droids to hammer down. The Colonel went inside what's going to be the hangar bay as he looked down at the approved blueprint that someone introduced to him, in which he accepted after reviewing. The blueprint is full proof for now until they could get a proper communication with locals, IF they can get communication with the locals, for now he'll have to rely on the imbecile name Jacob. Whatever the hell he's doing. But Daniels knows this, if Jacob starts a war... Then he gets to kill Jacob or.. Jacob gets killed. Meh sounds like a win-win. The hell is he doing anyways? The hell is Jacob doing now? Jacob contemplated throughout the entire recon mission, first he had to wear the galaxies most stupidest uniform, second he is stuck with a strict commander, and thirdly he hates the entirety of this whole unit itself. Jacob dreamed to take over the dammed unit and mold it into his own will.. Of course in order to do that he has to get the Colonel killed without being pinned... Now of course while he plots to take over power doesn't mean he's going to wrongfully stage a international incident, considering the fact that while he would find ways to get the commander killed wouldn't mean he's going to violate his personal obligations. In other words, unless this race is deadly he considers this a truce. Of course if it turned out the race is peaceful.. Oh well I guess it would be back in the drawing board. "Soo.. Have you heard Delano?" Asked the scout. "Heard about what William?" Delano asked. "Well, apparently the Colonel plans on a good solemn negotiation with the race on this planet to maybe join and be apart of the New Republic." William explained. Delano scoffed at that fact. "If anything whoever this race is, peaceful or not, they're better off neutral then being apart of the New Republic, after all I think it'll just fall like the last one did." "You really think the New Republic might become the second empire?" William wondered. "Probably, who knows? Anyways what do you think should be in charge?" Delano quizzed which got Jacobs attention while walking through a field of forest bushes. "Well... If it was up to me I think Jacob should be in charge.." Willian replied, in which to Delano's amazement had a little questionable face. With Jacob, looking inside a dead Everfree tree, peeking in their conversation.. "Sergeant Jacob? Ok buddy.. Your drunk if you assume Jacob should be in charge..." Delano replied, which made Jacob frown in aggravation. "But it's the truth! I mean after all he did inspire our men in the battle of Endor, or the liberation of Fresia! And Bathowai!" William remarked which made Jacobs frown turned upside down in a prideful smile.... Delano asked the Sergeant which Jacob tried to listen in. "No clue, mayb-" Suddenly they hear marching very close to them, grabbing his binoculars, William climbed up a tree and tried to find the source when he gets a surprise at the creatures that talked. "SIR! IT'S THE LOCALS!" Saleucami "MAYDAY MAYDAY! I'M GOING DOWN! AGHHHH!" The X-wings pilot last words as he was torn to shreds by a entire squadron of tie defenders. Grand Admiral Thrawn launched a assualt on the Republic facility that had held the majority of the MC90s, as they were at the planet on a peacekeeping mission. When the Eclipse Super Star Destroyer came into the system along with Thrawn's flagship, Chimaera, arriving to the system to... renovate the planet... "ADMIRAL WILGAR! WE'RE GETTING SHOT TO PIECES! SOME RESPO-" Admiral Wilgar watched in horror as the SSD tears his fleet pieces as the commander of another MC90 was obliterated right before his eyes and ears.. Radio chatters goes off over either ones ship is blown to pieces or their turbolaser cannons are destroyed but the admiral can't do anything about it even when they have the biggest fleet in the republic it's no match against a beast... And he fears the worst when the Eclipse stopped firing. And instead.. "ADMIRAL! TRANSMISSION FROM THE CHIMAERA!" Shouted one of the pilots of the MC90. "Patch.. Him through." The Mon Calamarian stuttered ordered as Thrawn is transmitted in a hologram form. The smirk on Thrawn's face just made him wish he can sucker punch him in the jaw right about now if he didn't have the oversized star destroyer with a death star laser pointing at the remains of his fleet. "I have to admit admiral. You surprised me at the fact that your whole fleet focused into one target at a time..." Thrawn Gloated in caution. Wilgar rebuttal's. "That's because you have a ship we can't defeat! That's to say Admiral.. You've called yourself a master of "Strategy" while really you've used that thing for impossible victories for us!" Thrawn rolled his eyes. Not moved on the subject knowing that the Republic is just the rebellion still and knowing their strategy of this type, they'll be staging a trap. Especially of his stupid officer corp who falls for these types of insults. "I'll get to the point and say this, surrender now when you can. Other wise you will see the capability of the weapon that the.. Eclipse has." Thrawn demanded, which Wilgar's eyes widen in fear. "WAIT DON'T ACTUALLY DO IT! THERE'S INNOCENT LIVES ON THE PLANET! IF YOU SHOOT IT AT THE PLANET YOU'LL KILL EVERYONE!" Wilgar shouted in fear, which Thrawn had them on the hook.. "A immediate surrender will be in order then... You have 10 minutes to accept." He warned, the transmission cuts off and Wilgar shouted. "EVACUATE THE PLANET SURFACE! DEPLOY THE U-WINGS! AND MAKE COURSE FOR HOSNIAN PRIME! NOW!!" Wilgar ordered, as everyone prepared their things and got ready to leave... Unfortunately though... "Grand Admiral Thrawn, the Eclipse weapon is ready sir." A imperial officer informs. "You may fire when ready." Thrawn ordered, in Tarkins words as the officer pointed at the computer and aiming systems for the weapon. The operators gets notified to fire the weapon as they press buttons, pull switches and then the final person to fire the death laser pulls the handle down to finally fire the weapon on Saleucami. The green laser is discharged from the Eclipse Super Star destroyer as it pierced everything in it's path, burning up debris, ship parts/remains. The admiral of the MC90 noticed the ship firing and sat on his chair for the last time as admiral of the fleet. Seeing the light he disintegrates to ashes. As the laser penetrated and destroyed the last capitol ship and the two Gr-75 medium transports, that was evacuating the planets surface after receiving the red alert notice. The U-wing that evacuate the MC90 survived but turned off all it's power and droids, so the imperials will think that they didn't make it as well. During this however the remaining officers, who're below the rank of Colonel, are now trying to decide what to do next. They looked up at the beast that destroyed their stationary fleet as it had jumped into hyperspace, along with the Chimaera as Captain Yuri spoke aloud. "That bastard.. Didn't even bother invading the planet." "That's because of that.." Pointed a soldier which they all looked at the planets surface in horror... "My god... Are we in Mustafar?" Asked a Lieutenant.. "No... It's Salecuami.." Replied Yuri, as everyone in the U-wing looked out in horror at the decimated planet.. "The swamps.. The Humidity... The people! They're... Dead!?" Exclaimed Private Faroes, reacting to the death of the planets surface. The Captain looked at the ships passenger bay and started a body count. So far they only have 10 well trained troops. (Wearing the same uniform in Chapter 1) 2 officers and a handful of droids they can use. "YU-30, come here." He ordered, as a Astro droid came towards him. "Show me all ship fleets, tracking, and positions." He ordered. The Astro droid shows a holo-map of the entire galaxy, it showed red dots, which represented the current positions of the New Republic forces, when he noticed that there was a red dot outside of the known galaxy... "Why is there a red dot in the Unknown region?" Yuri asked, which the men shrugged. "Do you think that they may have found a habitable planet sir?" Asked one of the U-wing pilots. Yuri was known to be skeptical with things, especially since the battle of Endor and how the empire ambushed them into thinking the shields were down only to find a fleet of Star destroyers and Victory cruisers. Either way, his gut is telling him to jump the gun. Of course while he never trusted his gut, he had a feeling that maybe the gut has a point... "We'll have to find out. Pilot, take us to the Unknown galaxies at these coordinates." He ordered. The pilots looked dead center at each other in confusion and worry. "Our funeral I guess." The Pilot said to himself, as he entered the coordinates and made the jump into hyperspace into the unknown galaxy... Only the thing was.. There was a Interdictor Star destroyer that was present when they jumped. ".... Where did that U-wing come from... And where did it go?" The Corporal asked himself, which Captain Pellaeon came on deck with the new individual. "It's great that you've survived Lothal sir, as I have since the damn space whales destroyed our entire blockade, but of course your face could use some restructure..." Pellaeon conversed. "I'll keep it as a scar..." Said Ruhk... As the Corporal gazed on Ruhk's half face. Since the battle of Lothal decades ago, Captain Pellaeon managed to survive the Purgils attack on the Imperial blockade by exiting the Star destroyer through escape pods. He was inside the command deck when he reported about the Purgils but lost contact with Thrawn as the Purgils destroyed the communication lines, to survive he ran down the star destroyers stairs and head towards the escape pods with his storm troopers and other officers, and ejected from the star destroyer. Of course as for Ruhk, after his fun... Shocking experience.. He had to use his teeth to pry himself out of the medal rod that tied him on the electrical batteries of the imperial dome before it launched. Luckily, the same time Thrawn's star destroyer was taken by the Purgils, he freed himself after losing 1 or 5 teeth and made his way towards the exit face and gums bleeding, smashing a window and jumped by the time the Imperial dome took off from the surface. Surviving this, he was concealed in a cloak and planned on getting his revenge. But after decades since then his revenge never came. Until now... "He survived? Interesting how much of a face he even has left." The Corporal reacted, Ruhk rolled his left eye, since his right face is not a thing anymore, Pellaeon on the other hand. "He went through as much as me and Thrawn had went through, for now, have we solved where the Alpha Unit went?" Pellaeon asked, in which the Corporal smirked. "I have actually, as of current. Can we get Thrawn on transmiss-" "You requested my presence?" Thrawn interrupted, with black armored Storm/death troopers on his side, speaking usual gibberish. "Grand Admiral Thrawn! Uhh.. Where did you came from?" The Corporal asked. "I just boarded the cruiser Corporal.. Now, you got my attention, what's the trajectory of that U-wing?" Thrawn asked. The Corporal goes to a holo-map and asked one of his men to track the U-wings trajectory in which it shows a white line going from Saleucami to the unknown regions in which... Thrawn is impressed and intrigued by the trajectory... "Interesting.. It's as if the rebels knew something that we don't, now obviously it will take more than a single tiny ship to prove your theory Corporal, but nonetheless let me tell you my theory." Thrawn then looked at Ruhk in a smirk. "I see you've met Lieutenant Hux, Lieutenant Armitage Hux." Thrawn introduced, in which Ruhk holds out his bloodied hand in greeting. "Nice to meet you too?" Hux replied, before he realized something. "Lieutenant? Sir did I just get." "Promoted, yes. After seeing your recent strategies on investigating and leadership against the rebel's in Bathowai despite the fact on that day they managed to outsmart your fleet but obeying your orders, you've deserved it. Plus it'd be a matter of time before your in the higher ranks, take proud of your work Hux, I will be watching your every step that you do." Thrawn congratulated, before turning back to the Holo-map. With Pellaeon, Ruhk, and Lt. Hux looking at Thrawn. "Now... About my theory, it's clear that the Alpha unit has escaped with a Corvette and a handful of Squadrons... But if I'm correct, they may have found a new habitable planet with life and maybe even a new race..." Thrawn theorized. "But if that's the case? Then why would the survivors of Saleucami head there?" Pellaeon asked. "Simple Captain.. Staging ground, they plan on using this "new planet" to undermine our movements and when they gather enough to form a force of their own, including if the local population of the planet joined their cause, then... They'll be striking at the true target, the Eclipse... But that. Is were they fall, Captain Pellaeon, authorize the deployment of probe droids and have them search the unknown region and the border regions as well along the trajected line." Thrawn ordered in which the Captain gets to buisness. Thrawn looked at Ruhk, in which Ruhk kneeled. "Your priority is to find the rebel leaders in the unknown regions and capture them at all cost. And if you have too... Capture the new planets local leaders as well." Thrawn ordered. "It shall be done, Grand Admiral." Ruhk acknowledged, as he left the room in which Thrawn turned towards Hux. "Come with me Lieutenant, lemme teach you about the basis of studying art..." Everfree Forest, Equestrian royal guard "EYES ON SEARCH DISTANCE! AND KEEP A EYE OUT FOR COKATRICE OR ANY OTHER CREATURE THAT POSES A THREAT!!" Shouted Shining Armor, while his men was looking around the area's of potential threat he looked at Twilight and Spike in a smile. "Whatever they are, we should be cautious without starting something we don't want to start." Jacob reminded. "But sir! They're heading towards base Trout! Shouldn't we do something about it!?" Delano asked before Jacob could respond a huge snap was heard in which they stared at William. "DAMMIT SOLDIER!" Jacob shouted, which Delano looked through the Binoculars in the bush to find that the pony guards heard that and cursed on branches and trees, he then looked back at the binoculars and saw that the pony guards didn't have no type of blaster... Just spears... "Sir.. I don't think we have to worry about the locals.." Delano informed. "Why do you say that?" Jacob asked. "Because they don't have blasters, or anything that counts as a threat! They're practically using pre-Jedi era weaponry!" Delano reported. Jacob snatched Delano's binoculars and saw that he was correct... No a single blaster on sight, suddenly he hears a shout from the pony guard group. "WHOEVER YOU ARE! COME OUT! WE KNOW YOUR IN THERE!" "Dammit, thanks a lot William." Jacob annoyed. "HEY I DIDN'T KNOW THERE WAS A DAMN TWIG OR I WOULDN'T HAVE STEPPED ON IT!" William angerly responded. "Either way sir, it was inevitable that they're going to find our base, so we might as well." Delano replied, which to the annoyance of Jacob, Delano was right, they were on their exact path towards the ship sight. And if they killed them then the Colonel will know and will start a conquest on the planet. Actually not bad for vengeance, but it's best to get it over with. The royal guard stood still and on their ground, awaiting either a creature or a enemy that was spying on them. Either was Shining Armor was going to make sure to defend his sister if he had to. Jacob replied, which a guard pointed a spear right at his face. "YOU WILL TREAT THE CAPTAIN WITH RESPECT OR BE IMPRISONED!" Shouted the guard which William and Delano reacted as they grabbed their A280 blaster rifles, and pointed at the guards that pointed their spears. Jacob followed suit and grabbed his pistol and pointed at the guard who was pointing a spear and shouted. "COME GET SOME! WE'LL TAKE YOU ON ONE BY ONE IF WE HAVE TO-" "STAND DOWN JACOB!" Shouted a voice in the distance. Which everyone looked at their right to see a T-2B rolled up on the conversation, with Colonel Daniels and 4 soldiers riding the top. "BUT SIR THEY!" Colonel Daniels ordered, which the tank stopped and he hopped off the T-2B tank with 4 additional soldiers, wearing the uniforms from Scarif, the Colonel looked Shining Armor who is both confused, worried, and stiff. "We're not a threat, I apologize if these three happened to stumble upon you and nearly started a unneeded conflict for a misunderstanding." The Colonel apologized, which the guards who kept their spears up lowered them down a little. But Shining Armor was fumed angerly, seeing this Twilight Sparkle got infront of her brother in a determined face. "Maybe you should let me do the talking!" Twilight interjected. "Stay behind me, this is not your place." Shining Armor ordered. "I'm the element of Friendship and magic! I should be the one to talk to them rather than standing behind you and watch you start a accidental war! Celestia had kept the peace in our world why isn't this any different!" Twilight defied which the guards looked at their commander in concern. Finally Shining gave into his sisters defiance. "Fine..." He answered, looking at the Colonel. As he got face to face with him. "If you lay your hooves on my sister and I will personally have you imprisoned! Understood!" Shining threatened, with the true intention of actually kicking the Colonel in the nuts. "I assure you, we won't." Daniels replied, while Jacob and the Recon were getting on board when Daniels stared at them. "OH NO YOU DON'T! You're walking back to base!" Daniels ordered, which Jacob gets pissed off. "BUT SIR!-" "NO BUTS! Shining Armor shrugged and scoffed, but fighting the strange fact that they literally came to their world without their knowledge, he climbed on board the T-2B tank as Lt. Leda begins driving the tank back to their base. With visitors this time.. Equus space The U-wing comes out of hyperspace with the crew looking at the beautiful planet that lay infront of them as the scanners started to scan the planet surface for life. Only to find loads of sentient life. "Sir, we have confirmation, the Corvette is populated with our guys!" The Pilot notified which Captain Yuri looked at the results to be exciting. That could help replenish the lost wealth, sure I can just ask my appointed economic council since I own the emperors large sums of credits but still... By the rate of both Republic and Remnant my operations on the galaxy could be disrupted at any moment... But then again... I should maybe not only look for some exotic values... "As we speak it's still stationed in Fondor but chances of it striking again is potentially unknown, sir... Didn't you once controlled this monster of a ship?" Zann was both furious and surprised, of course he once took over the damn ship, but he had no idea the empire would finish it's construction at this time... Unless... "Do you have the admirals names?" Zann asked. "Only one, but I did get a glimpsed of the imperial one sir." "Then atleast spell it out! And be quick about it!" Zann requested. "It's uh... Meanwhile, the CR90 corvette was near complete reconstruction thanks to the unicorn workers and wielding droids, in fact the Colonel plans on leaving some droids and maybe a weapon for the Equestrian forces to use and produce themselves since they pretty much have the laser part down thanks to their magic it seemed. But before he could get a answer from Leda, sirens blared which alerted the personal as the radar crew man called on the intercom. The Colonel started to walk towards the gate shield which was as usual, guarded by two trained Republic soldiers, with a addition of being guarded by two of Equestria's royal guards, but... The guard shuttered, the Colonel rolled his eyes, as the Republic soldiers turned and raised their weapons at the three royal guard as the two reacted with raising their spears and pointing at the Republic soldiers. "She does realize that your outmatched, plus I don't even know the charges for this so called 'arrest' but if you arrest me I hope you have a good damn explanation for the New Republic army!" The Colonel replied. "You've been charged of threatening to attack Canterlot on a day of marriage! And even said you were gonna rain down fire on the castle itself." "Castle? What castle? I don't even know what castle this said message is talking about, if anything it sounds like you've been duped. I didn't overseen any messages, and if it's on paper, don't count on that." The Colonel ordered, as the 5 ran through the Everfree forest straight towards on their destination, the Ponyville train station. And then unto Canterlot. Fondor "ALL IMPERIAL FORCES! They were deployed by Luke Skywalker after hearing news on the disappearance of the survivors of a massecre on their unit, it'd had been 3 days and Luke got concerned so he sends Wedge to lead his squadron on a mission find and rescue them. "Rogue six! Do you have something that we can track! We can't just keep bombing them forever you know!" Wedge called out. "I'm trying Rogue one! But these damn tie fighters are in my way!" Rogue six aggravated, as he is having to both scan for hyperdrive usages and shoot down Tie fighters at the same time, since he volunteer to be the one to use the Hyperdrive scanner. "Dammit, I see you and I'm coming in! Rogue three, Rogue four! Carry out the distraction, Rogue two your on me we have to cover Rogue six!" Wedge ordered. "Copy that, sticking tight." Rogue two replied, as the two fighters begin clearing out the tie fighters that attempted to shoot down Rogue six when one of their shots landed on Rogue six's engines. "SHIT! The room was lightened with imperial officers and cadets and crewmen as Hux and Pellaeon was looking at Rogue squadron running from them, while Thrawn wasn't there as he was at the Eclipse doing test run there, he was present in a form of a holographic transmission. "Wait, but they just destroyed our ship yards! You want them to get away!?" Hux spoke out, which made Thrawn chuckled. "A Shipyard can be rebuilt, but not our manpower. Of course while they may have killed, some, of the personal, that doesn't mean we can't replace them with more competent ones now can we?" Thrawn pointed out, which made Pellaeon sighed. "Do not engage the gravity wells then, Hux begin tracing the enemy hyperspace jumps at once." Pellaeon ordered. As the X-wing squadron jumped into hyperspace Pellaeon looked at Thrawn in curiosity. "Are we suppose to destroy the Rebels? Or hunt them down?" Pellaeon asked. "I assigned you to this position for a reason Pellaeon, knowing your skills I know you could succeed with the ships I've assigned you to complete this search. But knowing the Rebels they may find a way to keep a alliance permanent with this new potential new species, that's why in order to truly gain the new species respect, we should do them a favor and show them a truth towards this... Unstable Republic... But that to say, time will tell when you can unleash your destruction on the Rebel survivors." Thrawn explained, while Pellaeon nodded. "I see... But if the new species somehow made a alliance with these rebels?" Pellaeon asked. "Then we'll give them a offer to reconsider their thoughts, and if they don't reconsider then you have permission to contact me and.... Then will they see a reason to reconsider." Thrawn smirked. Prelude: The Fondor Raid (Remastered)A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away..... STAR WARS THE CORVETTE It has been 3 years since the destruction of the evil weapon the DEATH STAR and the remaining imperial forces dispersed into warring factions calling themselves the REMANENT. With the empire fractured the infamous Grand Admiral, THRAWN, has survived the attack on Lothal and took a standing as the head leader of the remnant. But as it all went down the Rebel alliance was reformed into the New Republic and had formed a unit of ragtag team of fighters who had fought in the battle of Endor. THE ALPHA UNIT, and as instructed by General LUKE SKYWALKER they begin a raid on the Fondor shipyards. Unknowing what awaits them in the shadow. A new type of Star destroyer awaits to destroy the unit... ABY 7, Fondor ship yards The vision came back as the Colonel of the unit had finally woke up, he looked at his officer cap that had the rebel alliance insignia on the front. Putting it on he was ready to begin this operation he got dressed and walked out to the hallway, looking around at busy soldiers who were wandering around for. Whatever they were doing of course. However, one of the men came towards the awakened colonel and was notified. "Sir, we are now coming out of hyperspace." "Has maroon and brown squadron been deployed?" The Colonel asked as the soldier nodded. "Yes sir, the fighters have been deployed." "Very good, lead the way to the cockpit." As the two headed down the hall, the walkway was now getting crowded with pilots who were reporting to their X-wings that were attached to the CR90. To give the run down here's what Alpha unit is. In ABY 5, the Alpha unit was formed to be a ragtag unit that served under the command of an appointed Colonel, as you had read. The Colonel's name is Colonel Daniels. He served in the battle of Yavin and Endor while being absent from Hoth as he was appointed to find a backup base which was Mon Cala. Only it wasn't official but was a good holdout. He was given the rank of Colonel after outsmarting a fleet of Star destroyers that was chasing a convoy of rebel shuttles. He was in a Nebulon B frigate at the time on a patrol in the outer rim when he encountered the shuttles that were carrying imperial scientists and defectors to the rebel cause. Along with pro-rebel mercenaries who were wanted dead. With the frigate, he couldn't face a whole fleet of one star destroyers, but three three star destroyers were way too damn many! So to get out of this, alive, he had made a plan that would sink all three of them in the cold harsh space. First, he deployed the green squadron and had them drive the Tie fighters away from the Star destroyers, he had his frigate make a total 180-degree turn towards the nebula field which for some stupid reason the star destroyers followed the frigate into the nebula. The Colonel, who rolled his eyes in stupidity, ordered the deployment of yellow squadron Y-wings and ordered them to fire Ion-torpedoes at the Nebula as the Colonel, after exiting the Nebula field, Ordered green squadron, which is A-wings, to jump to the rendezvous point. Before the imperial fleet master figured out what happened it was too late when the Y-wings fired the torpedoes at the nebula. The Star destroyers are burned to a crisp as their engines fried and the command post was also destroyed as one of them was so loose that it started falling on the Star destroyer munitions bay obliterating the entire Star destroyer and making the Nebula expand. With all three-star destroyers destroyed. The Rebel alliance handed the Colonel a promotion, as he was only a captain back then, which earned him the rank of Colonel while being given the Medal of Freedom. The Colonel was born in the imperial capital Coruscant, he was a child back then when emperor Palpatine declared the formation of the Galactic Empire and Order 66. He went to Yavin and enlisted in the rebel alliance. His first time on duty was when he was assigned to the Massassi division where he served as 2nd Lieutenant under General Dodonna which happened to be in the worse place at that time when Grand Admiral Thrawn attacked the group he served in at Atollon... He never forgot the amount of ships lost in that battle and even thought to himself that there was something they could've done to avoid the amount of losses. What was said and done there was more than the Colonel. There is the First Lieutenant. Leda, unlike her, was born in Alderaan the year after the Emperor announced the formation of the Empire. She made a rise in the ranks, but when she heard that her home planet was destroyed by the Death Star and that her parents were on the planet's surface when it happened... She felt rage and remorse... She felt responsible for leaving her parents on that planet when the Death Star destroyed it and now... It was just her... But while this horror and fear fell upon her she was assigned as the Colonel's First Lieutenant after the battle of Endor with the Alpha unit. With that, next was Jacob. He was unfortunately a Sergeant Major of the Alpha unit all because his father was a general. Why unfortunate you asked? Well, that was because he was a snob and even plotted to take over the squad but of course that was a limit. But while that was the case, he was born on the shipyard planet Kuat. Before his family considered joining the rebellion, his father left him to fight for the rebel alliance, when the imperial troops questioned his mother she distanced herself from her husband by calling him a scumbag and a traitor. Convinced by this, and ironically, she joined the imperial army leaving Jacob at an imperial Junior cadet academy on the planet of Lothal before being relocated to imperial-occupied Bespin, (After a rebel cell attacked the academy) after becoming a Lieutenant despite being slowed down by what he would later figured out to be Ezra Bridger, aka Spectre 6 of the Lothal cell, he was deployed in the frontline planets in Edu before being captured by a rebel scout force that happened to be lead by his father. Since then the whereabouts of his mother are unknown as some say that she currently serves as a meditating liaison for the Dathimirian witches for Admiral Thrawn. While some say she is currently acting incognito. Either way, it was unknown. Except to the annoyance of Colonel Daniels, when the worst news of his life came when he had about to put up with the damn insubordination of the Major Sergeant... While there are many more to introduce. It will be addressed later. Back to the present, the group arrives at the command center to oversee the operation that Luke Skywalker had assigned him and his unit to conduct. Noted at the fact that his unit works directly with Luke Skywalker, he kinda considers him as a crusader and a commander. He and Skywalker do have talks once in a while but not much often since Skywalker would be either training new Jedi or on some while ghost hunt for a dead man, either way when it comes to stuff like that the Colonel would stay away from the scene of things. As the Colonel stands in the center of the room, with his first Lieutenant standing on his right, the pilot gives the Colonel the alert. "Sir! We are now coming out of Hyperspace!" "Alright, ALL HANDS! MAN YOUR BATTLE STATIONS! THIS IS IT!" The Colonel shouted in the speaker as the Anti-fighter weapons were activated along with forward cannons. The ships come out of hyperspace with the Alpha unit fleet being comprised of ships. The Ships such as. 1 Nebulon B frigate, 3 CR90 Corvettes, 2 GR-75 medium transports, and 10 X and Y-wing squadrons deployed to the battle as the Colonel looked at the Frigate. "This is Colonel Daniels of the Rebel Alliance, all ships check-in." The Colonel speaks as the radio goes off with squadron leaders. "Colonel, this is a free squadron, standing by." "Tan squadron! Standing by!" "Alpha squadron, standing by!" "Rebellion captain Tearice of the flaming Hawk (Nebulon B frigate) at the ready." "New Gold Squadron, standing by!" As the call signs finished the Colonel gives the priority. "Y-wing squadrons, begin targeting fuel cells as they will start an explosive chain reaction and destroy the construction stations, X-wing squadrons, defend the bombers at all cost! GR-75 transports prepare to land troops in Fondor we're going to liberate the planet." "Roger that," "Roger that," "All fighters lock S-foils and attack positions." "Won't be long." As the fighter squadrons begin extending their fighter wings the Colonel gets a notification from his radar men. "SIR! ENEMY HAS DEPLOYED TIE FIGHTERS!" "ALL SHIPS SPREAD OUT AND ATTACK THOSE TIE FIGHTERS! Y-WINGS BEGIN YOUR MISSION!" The Colonel ordered as the CR90s began firing at the tie fighters and X-wing squadrons escorted the transports and the Y-wings while Tan's squad was engaged in a dogfight with Tie interceptors with 3 to 6 as the rest of the X-wings were dealing with other Ties. "EVASIVE MANUEVERS! TAN 6 WATCH OUT!" Shouted Tan 3 as the Ties are swarming Tan-6. "I CAN'T SHAKE THEM! AHGHHH!!" The Tie fighters blows Tan 6s X-wing to pieces as the debris smashes right inside a construction yard. "THIS IS FREE 4! WE HAVE INCOMING SHIELD SIGNATURES COMING FROM THE NORTH OF OUR POSITIONS! CAN SOMEONE GET A ID!" The Colonel hears this and looks at the radar personnel. "Where is it coming from.." He asked. "SIR THERES A WHOLE SQUAD OF THEM!" "Star destroyers?" He asked and they looked up to find.... "Oh, carabast! TIE DEFENDERS!" "SIR WE'RE COUNTING 20 SQUADS COMING TOWARDS US!" The room goes into sudden stress mode as a battle rages outside their windows as a CR90 on the right is having trouble shooting down Tie fighters. "THIS IS CAPTAIN YURI! COLONEL, WE CAN'T FIGHT THE TIE FIGHTERS THERE ARE TOO MANY OF THE- AGH!" The Colonel hears an explosion, looking out he looks in horror as a Tie bomber fires a torpedo at the command deck of the CR90 the entire front is shattered and blown, leaving the Corvette dead. "My god... ALL SQUADRON! FIGHTERS RETURN TO THE SHIPS NOW! THERE IS TOO MANY TIE FIGHTERS TO FIGH-" "SIR! A HUGE CELESTIAL OBJECT COMING BEHIND FROM THE..." "THE WHAT SOLIDER! WHAT OBJECT ARE YOU...." Before the Colonel could react he looked at the view as the battle was raging to find a nightmare in a ship.... "Oh no.. Oh my... Oh god.." The Colonel said to himself as the ESCLISPE superstar destroyer came behind the planet of Fondor, realizing this he shouted. "RETREAT! ALL SHIPS RETREAT!!!" He shouted but they were too late... Behind the death weapon was the Chimera which had been long repaired and reconstructed by the doomium that the Imperials raided Corellia for, Thawn stood watching the fleet being torn apart by his orchestrated ambush. After being freed from the planet of Peridea he had time to gain his bearings on the situation, however when he was informed that Palpatine and Vader were killed her was a bit puzzled, not because of their deaths, but rather the situation that occurred afterward when he was told that the empire he had commanded under collapsed, what further puzzled him was when he was also informed that when Project Stardust was completed the senate was disbanded. With what remained of the empire was the armament council of Commandants, although when Grand Moff Gideon was killed in Mandalore this fractured the council. However, it wasn't long when Admiral Palleon and later Brendol joined his cause forming a new empire. As he watched the destruction of Jedi Master Skywalker's plan, an officer approached him. "Grand Admiral Thrawn sir, gravity wells have been generated and our weapon systems are prepped. On your order sir." The Corporal said as Thrawn stared at the Nebulon Frigate and smirked. "You may begin the demonstration of this power, aim the frigate." He spoke as the Corporal saluted and stared at the targeting system with one of the officers as they conversed with each other. The Eclispse was already constructed in Fondor, the problem was it was left dead in space, although he could take it apart and smelt it down for additional resources he did always feel fond of the ambition of Palpatine's private design of the weapon. And perhaps it could fool the enemy into thinking that it is the flagship, and so, with its completed construction he now takes it out for a test drive. Back to the Colonel, he saw a great bright light excessing from the Eclipse SSD as it prepared to fire its death star-like laser on one of the ships, and it was pointing at the Nebulon B frigate. "CAPTAIN TEARACE! EVACUATE THE FRIGATE! IT'S IS AIMING FOR YOU!" The Colonel shouted, but it was too late as the laser fired on the Nebulon B frigate, exploding both the Frigate and third CR90 the Colonel looked on in horror that his entire unit was destroyed in a single oblivion... There was now one choice. "RETREAT! ALL CRAFT RETRE-" The Colonel was cut off as explosions ranged on the corvette, a Tie defender was shooting the CR90 to pieces as it aimed for the CR90 engines before firing a missile at it. "MISSILE INCOMING!" Shouted a crewman as the Colonel yelled. "BRACE FOR IMPACT!" The missile lands on the engine, exploding the entire butt of the Corvette, however, the only system that was not affected was the hyperdrive as the remaining X-wings try their best to fight off the Imperial enemy. The Colonel and the crew got on their feet as one of them hit their head on the coordinates in the navi-computer. The Colonel kept his balance and gave the order. "GET US OUT OF HERE NOW!" Without questioning the fact that the soldier hit his head on the Navi-computer he set the ship to hyperdrive, crossing his fingers that the enemy accidentally turned off the gravity wells he pulled the switch. "Sir! Rebel Ships are attempting to jump! Should we-" "Turn them off," Thrawn ordered which made the Imperial corporal confused. "Turn what off sir?" The Corporal asked as Thrawn turned towards him. "The gravity wells, Corporal. Turn them off." He ordered one last time as the Corporal gave Thrawn a neutral expression about it before pointing to the Gravity director to shut the wells down in a push of a button. In the blink of an eye, a single CR90 corvette, 6 X-wings, and 2 pairs of remaining Y-wings jumped into hyperspace. Left the Fondor system. The Corporal turned towards Thrawn in confusion. "Why did you let them go?" He asked. Thrawn smirked and smiled and turned to the outside of the command deck. "It's obvious that we can't shed anymore blood. We've already crippled them enough, and I have a feeling that they won't be far from the tracker we've planted." Thrawn answered showing a tracking device to the Corporal. As Captain Pellaeon came to the deck. "You'll be placed in charge of hunting the remains of the Alpha unit. Don't disappoint me. And as for you Corporal, you'll be with him as well." Thrawn informed which the Corporal looked a bit stressed. "Why sir?" The Corporal asked. "Why. To put it simply, you did a good job of being the imperial accountant and representative, it's only fair if you were mine in this style of warfare wouldn't you agree?" Thrawn answered which the Corporal nodded in understanding. "Very good. Now because of this attack repairs will be needed. Dismiss." As Captain Pellaeon left the room the Corporal looked at the destruction that Alpha unit had brought to the shipyards. And so begins the story, of the Colonel and his crew, as they travel to a mysterious place fighting off the forces of evil internally and externally on the planet called Eques. Being given the title of heroes on that planet with many ponies calling said heroes. The Corevette... Author's Note The Characters! Chapter 1: Landing (Remastered)The Corvette and the remaining Alpha Unit were now in hyperspace as the Corvette meanwhile was transformed into a medical ship, treating the injured men on board and pilots, and the pilots were given checkups one at a time before de-docking from the Corvette, although the pilots were all in perfect shape, they would've had to jettison the fighters in case one of them were injured from the explosion. As for the Colonel, he was walking down the hallways with his right-hand woman and Sergeant Major Jacob on his left, inspecting and assessing the damage caused on the corvette. So far the surviving CR90 had sustained damage in the thrusters, engines got a kick in the balls but still running, and the Bottom forward cannon was completely blown off as for the top cannon, it stayed attached and so did both the bottom and top Anti-fighter weaponry. As for everything else the hyperdrive was hit but it still could jump. However, the Colonel was concerned about how long the ship could stay in the air when one of the pilots came to him. "Sir, we are coming out of Hyperspace." "Already? Fondor is the farthest planet from there to Yavin. Right?" The Colonel asked which the pilot cringed. "Sir... We are not in Yavin." The Pilot informed as Colonel Daniels looked at him with a deepened expression. "Sir... I think we are in the new part of the galaxy..." The pilot informed again, as a map of the galaxy shows that they are at the half-unexplored part of the Galaxy. "Wait... Are you telling me that we went left instead of right? Because that's what I am getting here!" The Colonel yelled as the ship Pilot nodded aggressively as the Colonel rolled his eyes. "Colonel, if I may suggest maybe. We could find a sustainable planet here in this explored part of the galaxy just to be safe?" Lieutenant Leda suggested. The Colonel thought on her suggestion... Thinking about it now he turned towards the navigator who was behind Jacob the whole time when they were going down the ship hallway. "Make a scan for a pla-" "Consider it done sir, I've already conducted the scan and there is one planet on our left, but..." The Navigator paused. "But...?" The Colonel said. "There is sentient life on the planet and for some reason, there is some type of disturbance that's not been calculated.. It's as if this planet resonates with what General Skywalker calls "The force" or something. Either way. Maybe we can negotiate with. Whoever lives on the planet Colonel, of course, it's your call sir." The Navigator explained as the Colonel placed his fingers on his chin in a thought process of decisions. "Lieutenant? What are my choices here, and potential scenarios?" He asked. "Well sir, if I have to say, we could land and see if the locals are peaceful or not, if they aren't peaceful then we could be seeing an endless horde approaching us, if they are peaceful however, then this could benefit us greatly." "And if we didn't land?" The Colonel asked. "We would most likely die due to the limited food supply, and the fuel we have." The choices and scenario laid out before the Colonel gave him the perspective he kinda needed since the entire crew was watching and laying their eyes on the Colonel, including the patients and doctors/medics who happened to hear the entire conversation. Being on a new planet with the potential of being a new type of species, with potential new allies but also potential enemies. But in a situation like this through a long session of thinking, the Colonel turned to the ship pilot. "Contact the Remaining fighter Squadrons, and tell them we are making a landing on the new planet. Code name trout." The Colonel ordered, as the pilot ran down the hall before the maintenance crew came out of the engine room, all dust and blackened faced with concern. "Is something wrong Gerais?" Daniels asked as the head engineer turned towards him with worry. "Sir... The landing gears have been damaged... If you're doing a landing you may have to inform everyone for crash landing..." Gerais informed as the medical officials quickly took a shock and began preparing to strap the injured down as the entire ship went into total red alert. As for the Colonel's realization of this... "LIEUTENANT! GET THE CREW UNDER CONTROL! JACOB! GET THE INTERCOM CHANNELS AND TELL ALL CREW ON BOARD TO BRACE FOR A CRASH LANDING!" The Colonel ordered as Jacob quickly grabbed the intercom. "ALL CREW MEMBERS BRACE FOR CRASH LANDING! WE HAVE NO LANDING GEARS! BRACE!" Suddenly the ship sirens go off as alert sounds start blaring red. The Colonel ran down the halls but before he could arrive the ship started shaking which meant that they just entered the planet's ozone layer. So he grabbed onto something and braced for impact. Canterlot Celestia was heading out of her room as Luna was lowering the moon for the morning. However, the morning changed when the two heard a huge boom as if something had entered the atmosphere. Celestia assumed it was probably a meteor shower when she entered the throne room she heard Luna shout. "TIA! LOOK AT THE SKY!" The two sisters ran to the balcony where Luna pointed at a fireball that was heading towards the eastern side of the Everfree forest followed by what seemed to be metallic fireballs with a huge piece of fire. Assuming it was a huge meteor Celestia wanted to make sure that her ponies were not injured so she turned to one of her guard's ponies that were with her and her sister and ordered, while writing a message. "Find Shining armor and assemble an expedition and order them head to impact sight at once!" She ordered, while she handed the scroll to the royal guard messenger as he saluted and left with other royal guards. Celestia looked at the distance of the smoke rising as she stared at her sister with worry but at the same time with reassurance, something telling him that the impact was more of a blessing rather than a dread... TheCrash site The CR90 had crashed and landed safely, the damage only was the nonexistent landing gear, the bottom anti-fighter guns were now damaged severely, the Corvette sits at a -13 degree angle in a now land crater, but the ship is still standing and somewhat one piece. The X-wings and Y-wings landed beside the Corvette as the pilots hopped out despite the height and quickly climbed on the CR90. "Is everyone alright!" Squadron leader Dewy yelled as he helped some of his pilots up on the damaged Corvette to help the others inside. The Colonel got up from the ground, he noticed the lights were shut off so he turned towards his head engineer of the ship. "Get these damn lights back on!" Daniels ordered as the Head engineer got up with his crew and head to restore power to the ship's interior. Daniels then looked at Leda. "Get the base and settlement kit prepped and establish tents outside," Daniels ordered. "Yes sir! Right away." "Sergeant Major Jacob," Daniels called. "Yes sir?" Jacob replied. "Gather a recon unit. You'll be using these uniforms." Daniels ordered, which confused Jacob. "Are you sure you want to use THESE uniforms? We've never used them since-" "Scarif? I know that, but it's the only uniform we have until we can get a proper one, we're no longer in space so what's the point." Daniels explained as Jacob rolled his eyes in a defiant mood. "Fine. YOU TWO!" Shouted Jacob, as the two of the ship security men came to Jacob. "Yes sir?" One asked. "Put on these uniforms and come with me, we're doing a recon and you two are coming with me," Jacob ordered, to which the two shrugged. "Yes sir." As the three went inside the changing room lemme show you what the uniform is. As Jacob and the other two came out of the changing room the two crewmen liked what they were wearing, except for Jacob who hated this uniform. "God kill me now...." He said to himself, as he and the other two grabbed their A280 blaster rifles from the armory and headed towards the exit as the medical officials got by them. Daniels looked outside. It reminded him about how much Yavin looked like. Only it's brighter and more... Green. And peaceful too. Unfortunately, the ship he had used for almost his entire life happened to be the reason for the surrounding area to be a chaotic dirt and... But to describe it's like this. They are exactly at the borderline, the other side of the Everfree forest and near Ponyville. The area is inhabited by peaceful forest creatures like rabbits and birds. The surroundings for them are what you would call the most peaceful layer of the forest, except for the Timberwolves but they don't know about that and they probably won't when they establish the barrier protection. Jacob and the two men, who I will now refer to as scouts, set off on their journey to figure out where the sentient life is and to negotiate peacefully. Unknowing that fate will make that quick. Shining Armor was in the city with the guard unit patrolling the streets. He was doing his usual duty as the captain of the guard when a messenger was coming towards him with a message. He puffed and huffed, catching his breath after having to run through lord knows what amount of castle steps. Anyways, the messenger gathered the strength and handed him the letter to Shining Armor. "Is something wrong?" He asked. "Sir, It's from Princess Celestia, a meteor has hit the east side of the Everfree forest!" The messenger informed, which made Shining armors ears perk up. "Is Ponyville safe!" He asked in a panic while grabbing the messenger by the armor, shaking the tar out of him. "It's fine sir! It only hit the forest, the princess wants you to search for anyone who may have been caught in the impact zone. And perhaps recover the rock?" The messenger read from the scroll, which Shining was a little determined. "I'm sure it'll be easy after it's just an oversized space rock. But hopefully, nopony was caught in the explosion though.." He turned towards his guard and called out orders as they formed a unit-sized group and began their journey on their way to the crash site. Unfortunately, that "rock" he says is nothing of a rock... Other than being a ship. The Interdictor class Star destroyer The Command bridge of the Star Destroyer is lit up with stormtroopers and imperial officers as some made paperwork, some made reports, while some up and looked at a map for some reason. Captain Pellaeon and the Corporal were in the planning room to decide their next course of action. "So if I was the rebel scoundrels who bombed a shipyard.. Where the hell would I be..." The Corporal said to himself, as Pellaeon rolled his eyes. "Obviously not in your head Corporal.." "Gee thanks Captain obvious.." The Corporal disrespected. "I'll have you know that this 'Captain obvious' is the right hand man of Thrawn may I remind you." Pellaeon reaffirmed, as the Corporal looked away from the man and looked at the map. "Maybe they escaped to one of these planets... Naboo maybe?" The Corporal asked, which Pellaeon replied. "Naboo is not a target or we'd get a message about it, as we speak the secret weapon is about to be used there." Pellaeon informed, which the Corporal sat down on a chair in confusion. "But what else would they be... After all they couldn't be that far right? Right?" The Corporal thought to himself. "Well.. If you figure it out let me know, I've got a life too." Pellaeon said, as he left the room with Storm commandoes, which are his body guards. The Corporal imagined himself once to be a successor for Thrawn but if he is having trouble with this then he fears he doesn't have the potential... Maybe he should think not harder... But maybe... Smarter.. Temporary base: Trout The Colonel was sitting on the grass, regarding the grass stains it'll probably leave on his pants. He looked out at the peaceful wilderness as he went pondered how everything went from being barbaric to a absolute war freaks... As he pondered the years of war since the clone wars he begged the question of the new fact that he and the others will have to figure out a way to coexist with the new alien race, if anything it makes his head fry at the fact of how many alien races had the galaxy discovered and his entire unit is just all human for some reason. Except for one who's name was Maz.. Used to be a smuggler and pirate before she up and joined the rebellion, while he past is.. Unknown at the moment at least her spirit is in the right place.. I guess.. But she always contemplated about settling somewhere and start a buisness, like a bar. But nowadays she collects artifacts and is in charge of the armory since she has grand experience in accountancy but of course she took the position of being the armory head as her project was being under construction in Tokadana, so until then she's stuck with them. He would guess that it's what you get for allowing the majority of the rebellion to be entirely human dominant, but then again at least the other races like the Mon Calamarians fought valiantly especially in Endor. His first Lieutenant came behind him and said. "Sir, we have established forward head communications. Unfortunately we can't get a transmission through but we have established tents and forward defense turrets. Sir." Leda informed, in which Daniels nodded. "Very good Lieutenant, but we're trying to befriend the sentient species here you know." The Colonel argued, but Leda came back. "It's good to have some type of back up plan sir." She replied as the Colonel chuckled. "Very good, since we can't get a transmission up the best we could do is repair the CR90, lord knows how banged up she is. Atleast we have fighters for now to work with but until then, have Dewy keep our crew men in shape and have someone appointed to be head of a Self-defense unit. At once." The Colonel ordered, as Leda was heading out before Dewy came right towards Daniels. "Dewy? Well it's either coincidence or stupidity, what is it?" The Colonel asked, which Dewy smirked. "Sir! There's T-2B tanks in the Corvette storage area!" Dewy reported. "WHAT!?!" The two yelled in unison. Shining Armor royal guard Shining Armor and the Equestrian Royal guard were now heading to the other side of the Everfree forest, Shining Armor had to visit his sister to check up on her. So looking at his second in command he ordered. "I have to check on my sister, can you keep a eye on the group while I'm away?" Armor asked, which the S.I.C. Replied. "Yes sir." "Thanks, Wing blast." As he left the guard he scanned his sisters tree home, surprised at the fact that his sister was not kidding when she said in one of her letters that she lives in a literal library. "Heh, definently her home." He said too himself, as he knocked on the door. As he waited a little the door opened but no one was there, he entered inside and then he was tackled by his beloved sister who was glad and excited to finally see him again. He smiled. "Glad too see you too Twily :D" "What brought you here! How's Celestia! How is Luna? Ooh ooh! Are you-" "I'm doing fine Twilight," Shining Armor chuckled while Twilight got off of him, and started jumping around like a pogo stick on a windy day. "But what brought me here is actually another story.. In fact I came to check on you and the town." He answered, which Twilight tilted her head a little. "What do you mean? Did something happen?" She asked, which her big brother replied. "A meteor had hit Equestria, while nothing of damage wasn't reported, Celestia had ordered me and my group to check it out.. And maybe collect some samples if we could. Now I'm not a comic book reader but I think space rocks usually has something attached to it." He explained. Twilights brain blows up and shattered and her eyes dilated. "TAKE ME!" She yelled, grabbing on Shining's.. Armor? (Look man that's how they named him cut me some slack here :( ) Anyways, Shining would take her but feeling concern of how dangerous this could be he could maybe ask Celestia? After all it might be a open experience and maybe a win-win type scenario. "If Celestia agrees atleast?" He answered, in which Twilight jumped the gun and wrote a entire rushed letter and sent it off with Spikes fire breath. Shining rolled his eyes in a comical way. "You know she won't answer the message for a good whi-" Suddenly the message came back which literally says. "K." And in excitement Twilight yells. "EEEEEEEEEE!!!! I GET TO COME WITH YOU! YAY! YAY! YAY! YAY!" She jumped around Shining, which he just grins but gets a little strict for a moment. "Alright, but you have to stay close with me at all times. Faust knows what this rock could have." Shining warned. Twilight nodded her head in understanding as the two left the house. "OH! Almost forgot about you Spike!" Twilight realized. "Gee thanks..." He fumed, before being lifted by Twilights magic and her satchel. The three left the house while she locked the door. Unknowing what adventure they're going to have with this one. The Storage area The bottom deck doors opened as the Colonel, the First Lieutenant, and Dewy entered the hallway which contains the armory room and the storage area. Maz took notice at the three while she was polishing a blaster. "Well, I see someone other than the snob showed up here." She said, cleaning the inside of the blaster. "Good to see you to Maz, hey Maz? Since when did we have T-2B tanks in the corvettes?" The Colonel asked. "I don't have a clue, but that to say a person came to me and asked if I wanted the tanks loaded in the Corvette, I obviously answered yes and they brought 7 of them in here." Maz explained. "SEVEN!? THEY BROUGHT SEVEN OF THESE OLD RUST BUCKETS IN THIS SHIP!??" Dewy yelled. "DEWY! Have some sense! Your a squadron leader for crying out loud, and Maz, next time someone brings ships to the Corvette have them go through customs first!" Daniels lectured. "Very well, besides my time in the rebellion is almost up." Maz said as she polished another blaster rifle. "Sir, if we have seven T-2B tanks? What do you think we should do with them?" Leda asked. "Well obviously don't dismantle them, we'll probably need them in case we have to defend ourselves from the enemy or even the locals for that matter." The Colonel answered, which Leda nodded in agreement. "But don't we have fighter wings? We have 6 X-wings and 2 Y-wings at our disposal." Dewy protested. "Do we even know how advance this race is? Or even better, how territorial they are!" Daniels replied. Dewy stood back, while Daniels looked at the tanks and then turned towards Leda. "I'm placing you in charge of the temporary armor brigade until we can safely assume that this planet is safe. Is that understood?" The Colonel ordered. "Yes sir, thank you sir." She replied. "Good, now if you'll excuse me, I have to oversee the recon operation that is going on as we speak." Daniels exited the room as Leda looked at the old tanks of the past. "Soooo... How do we get them out?" Dewy asked. "No clue...."

It's now been 10 hours since the search operation and so far he can't find a single trace of where Alpha unit is. Daniels finished, walking off from the two before stepping backwards towards Dewy. "One more thing." Daniels remembered. "Yes sir?" Dewy asked. "Have your droids be deployed to assist the other droids who are having to wield both our ship and this base. And after that get your fighters in a decent organized manner." Daniels ordered. "Yes sir!" Dewy replied, marching towards his squad mates about the order. So far it has been 11 hours in space and 7 hours at the new planet, the sun is still up but it is starting to set, and the Corvette is still at the place it crashed landed at and reports had also come in so far of no injuries. As for Jacob and his recon unit, they scouted only 1 out of 100% of the Everfree forest and are happen to start their scouting again. As for Leda, she managed to figure out how to pilot the T-2Bs and is continuing to pilot one until she can know all to teach it to her men, as for Dewy. The fighter squadrons are currently off-duty due to the potential risk of Imperial presence, so for safety measures they have to keep the fighters shut off. But until they could even confirm Imperial presence the remains of Tan and Maroon Squadron stays on the ground. The droids meanwhile, had been hard at work on wielding and cargo managing along with translator cyborgs being activated in case they have to translate a new language. Until then, they are assigned to hold nails for the droids to hammer down. The Colonel went inside what's going to be the hangar bay as he looked down at the approved blueprint that someone introduced to him, in which he accepted after reviewing. The blueprint is full proof for now until they could get a proper communication with locals, IF they can get communication with the locals, for now he'll have to rely on the imbecile name Jacob. Whatever the hell he's doing. But Daniels knows this, if Jacob starts a war... Then he gets to kill Jacob or.. Jacob gets killed. Meh sounds like a win-win. The hell is he doing anyways? Grand Admiral Thrawn launched a assualt on the Republic facility that had held the majority of the MC90s, as they were at the planet on a peacekeeping mission. When the Eclipse Super Star Destroyer came into the system along with Thrawn's flagship, Chimaera, arriving to the system to... renovate the planet... "ADMIRAL WILGAR! WE'RE GETTING SHOT TO PIECES! SOME RESPO-" Admiral Wilgar watched in horror as the SSD tears his fleet pieces as the commander of another MC90 was obliterated right before his eyes and ears.. Radio chatters goes off over either ones ship is blown to pieces or their turbolaser cannons are destroyed but the admiral can't do anything about it even when they have the biggest fleet in the republic it's no match against a beast... And he fears the worst when the Eclipse stopped firing. And instead.. "ADMIRAL! TRANSMISSION FROM THE CHIMAERA!" Shouted one of the pilots of the MC90. "Patch.. Him through." The Mon Calamarian stuttered ordered as Thrawn is transmitted in a hologram form. The smirk on Thrawn's face just made him wish he can sucker punch him in the jaw right about now if he didn't have the oversized star destroyer with a death star laser pointing at the remains of his fleet. "I have to admit admiral. You surprised me at the fact that your whole fleet focused into one target at a time..." Thrawn Gloated in caution. Wilgar rebuttal's. "That's because you have a ship we can't defeat! That's to say Admiral.. You've called yourself a master of "Strategy" while really you've used that thing for impossible victories for us!" Thrawn rolled his eyes. Not moved on the subject knowing that the Republic is just the rebellion still and knowing their strategy of this type, they'll be staging a trap. "You may fire when ready." Thrawn ordered, in Tarkins words as the officer pointed at the computer and aiming systems for the weapon. The operators gets notified to fire the weapon as they press buttons, pull switches and then the final person to fire the death laser pulls the handle down to finally fire the weapon on Saleucami. The green laser is discharged from the Eclipse Super Star destroyer as it pierced everything in it's path, burning up debris, ship parts/remains. The admiral of the MC90 noticed the ship firing and sat on his chair for the last time as admiral of the fleet. Seeing the light he disintegrates to ashes. As the laser penetrated and destroyed the last capitol ship and the two Gr-75 medium transports, that was evacuating the planets surface after receiving the red alert notice. The U-wing that evacuate the MC90 survived but turned off all it's power and droids, so the imperials will think that they didn't make it as well. During this however the remaining officers, who're below the rank of Colonel, are now trying to decide what to do next. They looked up at the beast that destroyed their stationary fleet as it had jumped into hyperspace, along with the Chimaera as Captain Yuri spoke aloud. "That bastard.. Didn't even bother invading the planet." "That's because of that.." Pointed a soldier which they all looked at the planets surface in horror... "My god... Are we in Mustafar?" Asked a Lieutenant.. "No... It's Salecuami.." Replied Yuri, as everyone in the U-wing looked out in horror at the decimated planet.. "The swamps.. The Humidity... The people! They're... Dead!?" Exclaimed Private Faroes, reacting to the death of the planets surface. The Captain looked at the ships passenger bay and started a body count. So far they only have 10 well trained troops. (Wearing the same uniform in Chapter 1) 2 officers and a handful of droids they can use. "YU-30, come here." He ordered, as a Astro droid came towards him. "Show me all ship fleets, tracking, and positions." He ordered. The Astro droid shows a holo-map of the entire galaxy, it showed red dots, which represented the current positions of the New Republic forces, when he noticed that there was a red dot outside of the known galaxy... "Why is there a red dot in the Unknown region?" Yuri asked, which the men shrugged. "Do you think that they may have found a habitable planet sir?" Asked one of the U-wing pilots. Yuri was known to be skeptical with things, especially since the battle of Endor and how the empire ambushed them into thinking the shields were down only to find a fleet of Star destroyers and Victory cruisers. Either way, his gut is telling him to jump the gun. Of course while he never trusted his gut, he had a feeling that maybe the gut has a point... "We'll have to find out. Pilot, take us to the Unknown galaxies at these coordinates." He ordered. The pilots looked dead center at each other in confusion and worry. "Our funeral I guess." The Pilot said to himself, as he entered the coordinates and made the jump into hyperspace into the unknown galaxy... Only the thing was.. There was a Interdictor Star destroyer that was present when they jumped. ".... Where did that U-wing come from... And where did it go?" The Corporal asked himself, which Captain Pellaeon came on deck with the new individual. "It's great that you've survived Lothal sir, as I have since the damn space whales destroyed our entire blockade, but of course your face could use some restructure..." Pellaeon conversed. "I'll keep it as a scar..." Said Ruhk... As the Corporal gazed on Ruhk's half face. Since the battle of Lothal decades ago, Captain Pellaeon managed to survive the Purgils attack on the Imperial blockade by exiting the Star destroyer through escape pods. He was inside the command deck when he reported about the Purgils but lost contact with Thrawn as the Purgils destroyed the communication lines, to survive he ran down the star destroyers stairs and head towards the escape pods with his storm troopers and other officers, and ejected from the star destroyer. Of course as for Ruhk, after his fun... Shocking experience.. He had to use his teeth to pry himself out of the medal rod that tied him on the electrical batteries of the imperial dome before it launched. Luckily, the same time Thrawn's star destroyer was taken by the Purgils, he freed himself after losing 1 or 5 teeth and made his way towards the exit face and gums bleeding, smashing a window and jumped by the time the Imperial dome took off from the surface. Surviving this, he was concealed in a cloak and planned on getting his revenge. But after decades since then his revenge never came. Until now... "He survived? Interesting how much of a face he even has left." The Corporal reacted, Ruhk rolled his left eye, since his right face is not a thing anymore, Pellaeon on the other hand. "He went through as much as me and Thrawn had went through, for now, have we solved where the Alpha Unit went?" Pellaeon asked, in which the Corporal smirked. "I have actually, as of current. Can we get Thrawn on transmiss-" "You requested my presence?" Thrawn interrupted, with black armored Storm/death troopers on his side, speaking usual gibberish. "Grand Admiral Thrawn! Uhh.. Where did you came from?" The Corporal asked. "I just boarded the cruiser Corporal.. Now, you got my attention, what's the trajectory of that U-wing?" Thrawn asked. The Corporal goes to a holo-map and asked one of his men to track the U-wings trajectory in which it shows a white line going from Saleucami to the unknown regions in which... Thrawn is impressed and intrigued by the trajectory... "Interesting.. It's as if the rebels knew something that we don't, now obviously it will take more than a single tiny ship to prove your theory Corporal, but nonetheless let me tell you my theory." Thrawn then looked at Ruhk in a smirk. "I see you've met Lieutenant Hux, Lieutenant Armitage Hux." Thrawn introduced, in which Ruhk holds out his bloodied hand in greeting. "Nice to meet you too?" Hux replied, before he realized something. "Lieutenant? Sir did I just get." "Promoted, yes. After seeing your recent strategies on investigating and leadership against the rebel's in Bathowai despite the fact on that day they managed to outsmart your fleet but obeying your orders, you've deserved it. Plus it'd be a matter of time before your in the higher ranks, take proud of your work Hux, I will be watching your every step that you do." Thrawn congratulated, before turning back to the Holo-map. With Pellaeon, Ruhk, and Lt. Hux looking at Thrawn. "Now... About my theory, it's clear that the Alpha unit has escaped with a Corvette and a handful of Squadrons... But if I'm correct, they may have found a new habitable planet with life and maybe even a new race..." Thrawn theorized. "But if that's the case? Then why would the survivors of Saleucami head there?" Pellaeon asked. "Simple Captain.. Staging ground, they plan on using this "new planet" to undermine our movements and when they gather enough to form a force of their own, including if the local population of the planet joined their cause, then... They'll be striking at the true target, the Eclipse... But that. Is were they fall, Captain Pellaeon, authorize the deployment of probe droids and have them search the unknown region and the border regions as well along the trajected line." Thrawn ordered in which the Captain gets to buisness. Thrawn looked at Ruhk, in which Ruhk kneeled. "Your priority is to find the rebel leaders in the unknown regions and capture them at all cost. And if you have too... Capture the new planets local leaders as well." Thrawn ordered. "It shall be done, Grand Admiral." Ruhk acknowledged, as he left the room in which Thrawn turned towards Hux. "Come with me Lieutenant, lemme teach you about the basis of studying art..." Everfree Forest, Equestrian royal guard "EYES ON SEARCH DISTANCE! They're practically using pre-Jedi era weaponry!" Delano reported. Jacob snatched Delano's binoculars and saw that he was correct... The royal guard stood still and on their ground, awaiting either a creature or a enemy that was spying on them. Either was Shining Armor was going to make sure to defend his sister if he had to. However as the guards were about to zero in, the bushes started shaking which the guards reacted and pointed spears when three bi-pedal creatures came out of the bush with their hands up. "WE SURRENDER! DON'T DO ANYTHING!" Shouted the centered creature. Twilight looked from Shining's flank to see the new creatures that she never seen before which her jaw dropped to the ground. But Shining Armor on the other hand.... "Why were you spying on us!" He interrogated, as the royal guards approached the three steadily. "We're on a recon mission ya dumbass." Jacob replied, which a guard pointed a spear right at his face. "YOU WILL TREAT THE CAPTAIN WITH RESPECT OR BE IMPRISONED!" Shouted the guard which William and Delano reacted as they grabbed their A280 blaster rifles, and pointed at the guards that pointed their spears. Jacob followed suit and grabbed his pistol and pointed at the guard who was pointing a spear and shouted. "COME GET SOME! WE'LL TAKE YOU ON ONE BY ONE IF WE HAVE TO-" "STAND DOWN JACOB!" Shouted a voice in the distance. Which everyone looked at their right to see a T-2B rolled up on the conversation, with Colonel Daniels and 4 soldiers riding the top. "BUT SIR THEY!" "I SAID STAND DOWN!" Colonel Daniels ordered, which the tank stopped and he hopped off the T-2B tank with 4 additional soldiers, wearing the uniforms from Scarif, the Colonel looked Shining Armor who is both confused, worried, and stiff. "We're not a threat, I apologize if these three happened to stumble upon you and nearly started a unneeded conflict for a misunderstanding." The Colonel apologized, which the guards who kept their spears up lowered them down a little. But Shining Armor was fumed angerly, seeing this Twilight Sparkle got infront of her brother in a determined face. "Maybe you should let me do the talking!" Twilight interjected. "Stay behind me, this is not your place." Shining Armor ordered. "I'm the element of Friendship and magic! I should be the one to talk to them rather than standing behind you and watch you start a accidental war! Celestia had kept the peace in our world why isn't this any different!" Twilight defied which the guards looked at their commander in concern. Finally Shining gave into his sisters defiance. "Fine..." He answered, looking at the Colonel. As he got face to face with him. "If you lay your hooves on my sister and I will personally have you imprisoned! Understood!" Shining threatened, with the true intention of actually kicking the Colonel in the nuts. "I assure you, we won't." Daniels replied, while Jacob and the Recon were getting on board when Daniels stared at them. "OH NO YOU DON'T! You're walking back to base!" Daniels ordered, which Jacob gets pissed off. "BUT SIR!-" "NO BUTS! You deserve this, if it wasn't for Williams reporting this I would have to tell the New Republic council that we discovered a race that went to war with us! Now.. MARCH!" The Colonel ordered, Jacob saluted and marched with his Recon back to base. Daniels turned towards the guards. "As for yall, I can offer you a ride to base if you want?" Daniels offered. "We aren't going to your base, a meteor crashed in this area and-" "Then you must've saw our ship." Daniels answered. "SHIP!?" Twilight yelled excitedly. "Yea? I can take you to the area, I have to warn you it's kinda busy." Daniels warned. Shining armor scoffed at the fact and replied. "I think we can handle your "base" and it's business, Mr..?" "Daniels, Colonel Daniels Derick, we are apart of the New Republic, or atleast what was once the Rebel Alliance to restore the Republic." He introduced which made Shining Armor curious. "Rebel alliance? Who did you overthrow?" Shining asked. "I'll... Explain to you on the way." Daniels insisted as the Royal guard unit, and Twilight Sparkle boarded. Shining Armor shrugged and scoffed, but fighting the strange fact that they literally came to their world without their knowledge, he climbed on board the T-2B tank as Lt. Leda begins driving the tank back to their base. With visitors this time.. Equus space The U-wing comes out of hyperspace with the crew looking at the beautiful planet that lay infront of them as the scanners started to scan the planet surface for life. Only to find loads of sentient life. "Sir, we have confirmation, the Corvette is populated with our guys!" The Pilot notified which Captain Yuri looked at the results to be exciting. "Alright.. make preparations to land near the Corvette, time to reinforce." The Pilots prepare to make landing at the Corvette sight as the U-wings, wings, folded back and head towards the planet surface where they can make plans against the Eclipse..

KILL HIM!" Ordered the soldier captain, as they charged up their blasters the messenger braced himself before a voice spoke out. "Hold your fire!" Ordered the unknown voice, as the group turned to see a Duel blade wielding Talatori step into appearance from the crowd of soldiers with a... Interest look. "What is the message for." Asked the Talatori, as the messenger gulped and replied. "Tyber Zann.. S-sir!" The Messenger replied, which made Urai Fenn intrigued... "Follow us, I'll take you to Tyber Zann, but know that if you have a single intention on killing him, you will meet my blades." Urai warned, as he pressed his arm blade on the messenger's neck.
