Stripes Flanked by Scarlet
The baking heat of the sun was a constant in this land, seemingly. It could hardly be called unexpected, of course, the entire expanse of The Sultanate was very arid -- the vast majority of the nation was an expansive desert. Even near sources of plentiful water provided little relief as Celestia's sun scorched the land. The denizens of this land knew little of Celestia, however. Instead, they viewed the cycle between day and night entirely natural, the same with weather, the vast majority of which was wild and unscheduled. For an Equestrian, this land would seem terrifying and hostile outside of cities. With a general lack of rain in most areas, and the tendency for the wind to kick up towering storms of sand that scraped and scoured all who entered them like a gale of shattered glass.
For Scarlet Sound, though, this was the perfect place for an adventure, the perfect place to spend time outside of Equestria. It wasn't quite a vacation, but once could hardly say she was needed back in the bounds of her homeland either, at the moment. She was free, she did as she wished, and right now, that included venturing outside the principality that was Equestria. Arriving in the capital of this nation was a spectacle, the ship ride in carrying the mare down the narrow straight, allowing her to get a view of many of the land's ancient structures and statues that lined that channel. As the ship approached the capital, one striking feature was the set of towering, blocky walls, with slightly tapered towers, built of large blocks of sandstone, painted by civilization, weathered by storms and time, guarded by only the finest of stallions and mares among the city's occupants -- a population that would soon be revealed to consist mainly of different varieties of zebras. This wasn't to say that she wouldn't be seeing other Equestrians about, it was the capital after all.
Getting within the walls would give a sharp contrast to the world outside those walls. Where the banks were once lined by reeds, water grasses, and the ever-classic hardy vegetation that made for relatively livable conditions along rivers in the desert, the banks within these walls were artificial, built of the same sandstone as the walls, painted to give intrigue and to dazzle the eye, a vibrant blue lining the corner on the trim. Also notable was how the channel widened, and branched off into canals that likely ran all throughout the city. Coasting down the length of the channel, the ship avoids the path of other vessels traversing throughout, all busy on their own errands and routes, before leisurely gliding up towards what passed for a dock in this city.
What Scarlet would be met with, before she even stepped off the boat, would be the mixture of scents in the air. Spices and fresh fish for sale, street food being roasted and served, perfumes being peddled, and animals just living their life. It was all the scents and odors of a lively city, a city that had evolved of seemingly its own accord into a vast, complex, thriving metropolis. Situated next to what appeared to be a waterside market, the docks were positioned in such a way to encourage tourists to spend their funds impulsively, and freely.
Ignoring the marketplace, largely a test of personal willpower, could be done of course, and here, that was something Scarlet would do. There was something she wanted at the moment, and that something was a nice, cool drink. Being cramped in on a crowded ship did take its toll, and with this place's clear lack of technological advancement, really, in comparison to Equestria. Some time to destress would certainly be worthwhile. Asking about, Scarlet is clued in by a local to a cantina situated under a bridge, right at the apex of the harbor -- no particular name given, and it possibly didn't even have one. Navigating her way to it was a slightly confusing process with the unfamiliar layout and architecture of the city, but eventually the place would come into view, leading her to enthusiastically approach the establishment. Decorated with tapestries of vibrant colors, this cantina was a somewhat open-air establishment. Music could be heard drifting out, carrying an alluring, flowy twang to it that sounded so very exotic -- vaguely oriental and yet also reminiscent of Saddle Arabian music, in a way.
Slipping in, the place was pretty full -- not quite packed, but populated enough to give the sense that this place is rather popular. Following the sound of the music draws Scarlet's gaze and step towards quite the striking sight. Against the background of a broad scarlet tapestry that caught the sunlight from behind well, there danced a zebra mare. Stood up upon her hind legs, she shook and swung her body about, her large, bulbous belly emanating all manner of sounds to match her motions.
SLOURNSCH... SLRRNSH!... CLACK-CLICK!
The mare's large belly was stretched tight over what appeared to be.. a skeleton of some kind. A skeleton that was practically on the verge of being completely compromised. Whoever that was they were long gone, just integrated into the performance. Given the collection of feathers down on the floor below her, they had to be either a griffon or a pegasus. Whichever they were at one point, they were just food now, fuel and extra pounds on that zebra mare dancing up there. As the small band that had been responsible for the music dispersed and headed towards the bar itself to break for the day, the zebra would turn and move over towards a stool and a table that sat next to the raised sandstone platform that counted as a stage. That table had a collection of empty glasses upon it, and nearby sat a sign boasting a clear warning: 'Do Not Touch The Merchandise, with an arrow pointing towards a bit of a painted image of what had to be the mare's body. As she gets herself sat down upon that stool, she would bring her forelegs up, starting to rub and massage at that big orb. Just as quick as she's started rubbing though, she'd stopped, knowing full well there would be a better way among the crowd... and before long, after a couple mere moments of scanning the crowd, her eyes would land on Scarlet.
Catching the zebra's gaze, Scarlet finds her hooves carrying her forward, an urge to approach seemingly in synch with the exotic mare's own beckoning gaze. Approaching with little hesitation, Scarlet gazes over that exotic mare's figure a bit more. Zativa really was well padded, though certain features stuck out amongst the fabrics. Along her sides and back appeared to be... scars of some sort... rough, painful looking ones... only able to be seen through the rare gaps between her body and the fabric coating her. It was a curious little feature that, thanks to the fabric, shear as it was, was hidden from view most of the time, even when the zebra mare was in motion. Maybe it would come up in conversation, as curiosity invoking as it may be.
Getting up close, Zativa regards Scarlet with a warm smile. "Well, greetings to you, cute pegasus... I take it you have come here to enjoy the sights and sounds of the Sultanate for yourself? No doubt you've heard of it through travelers." Her words drip with a buttery smoothness that would allure the senses.
Up as close as she was, Scarlet felt no fear in what she would serve to do, bringing her forelegs up as she dropped to sit upon her plush rump, and pressing her front hooves into that big ball of mush and bone, pressing inward and eliciting a loud 'CRRRNNCH!' as bones broke and shattered, and the skull of Zativa's previous prey failed at the foreign, forceful contact. "What an appetizing sound~ And coming from an even more appetizing mare, no less." Scarlet says, smirking to herself as she presses and kneads now, breaking down those bones into something more managable for the zebra mare... and kickstarting the automatic process, loud crunching, clattering, and popping sounding as that gut shrank a little, and quickly became softer and more uniform. "Gotta be a rookie though, no way it'd take that much effort were you stewing in my gut~"
"A fellow pred I see.. That explains your lack of hesitation in approaching and allowing your hooves to roam, unabated by any signs speaking in warning, undeterred by my clear evidence that I will devour any rulebreakers.. I like that confidence. Though take caution, for that confidence may easily come off as a cocky demeanor." Zativa says, gazing down at the red pegasus with a sort of... bemused expression. "I am known by the people of this land as Zativa, skilled dancer by tr--"
"Skilled dancer? Pff well I suppose that's skilled, I could probably swing my gut around with the best of them!" Scarlet interrupts, sparing no chance to cockily boast at her supposed skill, something Zativa takes a bit of offense to... but with grit teeth hidden behind a soft smile, Zativa would let that annoyance slide away from her mind. "Call me Scarlet... Scarlet Sound~"
"Well, 'Scarlet'... Do continue rubbing... if you do well.. I may just treat you tonight." Zativa would say, gazing at Scarlet with narrowed eyes, her irises practically glowing against the background of her sclera. Without another word, Scarlet presses her hooves in, grinning softly as she presses and rubs, pumping the former sentient being down through Zativa's intestines. Slowly that thick slurry would drain, slowly it would be converted into another more useful form. As Zativa's flanks and teats swelled softly with fresh fat, Scarlets eyes are drawn to them, as well as her hooves. As Scarlet's touch moves southward from Zativa's belly... the zebra has to quickly reach down to stop her. In all truth... this was a cute one, if she didn't have to she didn't want to mulch this one... "Enough... Clearly you are skilled... there is no need for you to rub lower than my belly... please... there's more for you to press onto my body as fresh fat."
Scarlet only smirks in response, pressing firmly into that gut forcing out the pops and cracks of failing skeletal structure from the prey within. "Ah c'mon~ Not every day you encounter someone who's this skilled, now is it~? Wouldn't you like to see if this skill translates elsewhere~? Or, who knows... Maybe you'd like to see me packed with some eager slut~?" With that statement Zativa couldn't really help much. It WAS an enticing offer... and she did have some steam to blow off.
"...Alright fine, but I'm choosing your prey, and I'm the one using a futa potion" Zativa would say, her tone betraying the slight tension in her voice. As the morning sunlight peeks into the sandstone room, streaming between the light cloth curtains, the sight it illuminated was awfully peaceful. A zebra and a pegasus, both snuggled up together, manes a bit messy, sheets still damp from the night before, a feather or two loose and laying about from their antics... As her eyes slowly open, Zativa would become distinctly aware of the feeling she expected to come -- hunger. Intense, gnawing... And she had a pretty tasty looking mare right beside her, seemingly also just waking up. As the exotic dancer looks Scarlet over, she would watch as the mare sits up, straightening her wings up some, before settling. "...Good morning, Scarlet." Zativa would begin, grunting just a bit as her stomach gave an impatient growl, interrupting her train of thought already. Reaching up, the zebra brushes a few strands of her mane from in front of her face, watching the mare sit up. The red pegasus regards her with a similarly hungry, gaze, sans the reservation that Zativa was ensuring was known.

Scarlet would question, immediately conjuring up that cocky air... an air that really did tempt the zebra... maybe just a bit too much. Scarlet shifts her weight, turning and standing over Zativa now, the hungry look in her eyes spreading into a smug, overconfident grin. "That display you put on with your dance was hot... but lemme show you how a real pred claims her--" Scarlet would find herself cut off, Zativa moving to quickly turn the table, pinning Scarlet down. Now staring down at the red pegasus, Zativa would stare down at Scarlet.
"Hm. 'Real pred', hm? That's what you think you are? Cute~ Positively cute, my dear. Bit of a shame though... was hoping you could spend a bit longer outside... Oh well~" Her words were dripping with a sort of venomous kindness, the kind of fake care that a manipulative predator might put out. "Hm... Real pred... No... You're not a 'real pred'. You're a juicy... tasty... succulent looking prey~... and aaaaallllll... mine~" With that, Zativa opens her maw above Scarlet's face, eyes closed as she quickly approaches, rapidly bringing the now frantically squirming and struggling pegasus closer and closer to her impending fate, closer to that wide, open, deep, cavernous maw.
"Ngh.. No... No wait... no! No I'm supposed to eat you! Z-Zativ -- MRPFHN!" Scarlet's pleas would go muffled, and thus, unheard, though it was debatable whether Zativa even remotely came close to caring. Taking advantage of the moment, Zativa steadies herself, breathing through her nose before pushing, sending much more of Scarlet up, into her mouth, and down her throat.
The process wordlessly continues, each swallow pulling Zativa further and further along her breakfast's body, further towards silencing the red mare's pleas and whines. Each rolling gulp is accompanied by quiet, needy, curious licks, trailing across Scarlet's soft, slightly fluffy chest, tasting all that built up flavor. As Zativa's humping and grinding slowed, and soon stopped, the mare pants heavily, before letting out a soft, pleased giggle, and rolling back so she's sitting in the bath now, conveninently next to her soaps. Now, it would hardly be wise to take long, and since she had a lot to do... well she best get to work.
From within, the motions of Zativa cleaning herself just felt like softer rubs. Scarlet was left sitting there, feeling some of herself melting. She could feel her throat already growing a bit raw from the caustic air, the dry tickle in the back making her feel so very thirsty, but she didn't dare try to drink any of the only fluid available, not even in the name of Luna's fat, needy schlong! Not that she was sure whether Luna even had one... Her gaze within is... very dark, but there's some faint degree of light somehow. She can see only just enough to tell.. She was definitely churning in there, what she was feeling as bone was actually bone, and she knew, right then and there, she was going to die. She was already too far gone for getting out to be safe... Not that that would stop her from struggling.
Speaking of struggling, Scarlet begins to fight against Zativa's stomach once more. The grunting and hoarse growls sound out clear for her, her struggle more than making itself known... but for Zativa... all the zebra heard was the muffled noises of future fat~
Not much else happens throughout the bath -- no taunting or teasing, no harsh rubs, just the starting and stopping of Scarlet struggling... But once Zativa was out of that bath, things quickly change. Scarlet is vaguely aware of her prison, her tomb rocking, shaking, the fluids within sloshing side to side. She had a pretty good idea of where they'd be headed... and she knew already her time was up. Her struggles were lessened now... not just from the sapping of her strength... but from a noticeably confusing point. Why was it starting to feel so... blissful? Each little drip of herself, each rivulet of red, the same red as her coat... she could still feel it all.. even pooling down below in the acids, she felt it... A loose, relaxing, fluid feeling.
Suddenly there's a sharp press inward from behind, and she's forced to make some sound that is a cross between a gag and a gasp. There's a brief grind, before her prison reverts to its previous form, accompanied by a thundering BEEEEEEEAAAAALLLCH! Quickly after she's aware of a slight bit of her coat, her flesh, missing from her back, rubbed away by those soft, textured stomach walls, a faint, pleasurable tingling where that all used to be eliciting a faint moan from her.
Was she truly coming to enjoy this, slowly? Was she coming to crave the embrace of death? The fate of being fat on a sexy dancer? She had to be, why else would her squirming be no longer to escape... but to melt more?
Zativa chuckles softly, huffing quietly as she continues her morning trek. This alley was narrow and it had a lot of things for her to press against and grind on... She didn't know how Scarlet felt, and she supposed some part of her didn't care anyways. The red pegasus was food now, she was fuel, and she'd be nothing but bones and fat soon enough... though perhaps... perhaps she could churn this mare's very soul too!
Continuing to travel her route, Zativa eagerly presses her gut up against walls and boxes, and pauses occasionally to hump briefly against her occupant, relishing in the mare's quiet, albeit growing sounds of pleasure, of need and desire. This always happened with her prey and she definitely loved it, making them go from fiercely defiant to a needy gutlump was such a powerful, exciting feeling. Each step is quickly bringing her closer and closer to the cantina, closer and closer to the red Pegasus's end.
Upon reaching the cantina, Zativa pauses. A hoof reaches down to feel at her gut. The shape was noticeably less pony shaped -- towards the bottom, it was rounded, heavy with fluid, with digested slurry, slurry that contained a still moving mare. The zebra was impressed, few had lasted so long in her gut, and this meant she could have some fun with her dance instead of only showing off a skeleton. With that in mind, Zativa hardly spares another moment to check on the wellbeing of her occupant -- it doesn't matter now, what matters... is giving everyone a show, churning this mare for good... and getting her pay, of course~
Slowly stepping into the Cantina, Zativa finds it packed, ponies and zebras, griffons, Changelings, and all manner of other creatures, of various sizes and colors, are all crammed in, corralled to one half of the place, among them a few catching her eyes... A red batpony, somewhat curvy and plush with a little weight... Two blue nagas -- one a lighter blue and one a somewhat darker, less saturated blue, one wearing bracelets and a rather appealing heart shaped locket, the other bearing some rather cute earrings; and what looked, through the chaos of the crowd, like a pale blue pegasus wearing a collar with a bell on it, flanked by a rather attractive, adorable looking butterscotch colored earth pony stallion. All around some interesting variety, and she certainly wouldn't mind just casually meeting some fans after this... she was feeling generous today~
Making her way up onto the stage, Zativa faces the crowd, looking it over... the place was well and truly packed, there was no way anyone would be doing too much moving... that was good, that meant this time she could pause to actually watch the crowd enjoy her dancing every now and then. Slowly, Zativa picks herself up, and as the music gets going... so too, slowly, does her dancing rhythm. The shaking of her belly starts slow, gentle, only somewhat throwing Scarlet around... the thick chyme within already sloshes loudly..
Within, Scarlet is thrown for a pleasurable loop -- she'd expected that she'd probably start to really feel it once the dancing started, but she hadn't expected to feel that pool of chyme practically rip more of her away. Each shake, each slosh, each splash of those fluids against her took more and more. Her gut had melted open at some point, allowing the fluids to begin eating her from the inside out. She could certainly feel it... her hind legs were all but gone, nothing but bone now, pressed into place by the tightness of this gut. Caustic as the air was, she could scarcely breathe, there was so little of that stale air left. A splash of the chyme all around her comes to meet her face as she gives an open-mouthed moan, sending some down her throat, funny enough soothing that rough feeling by causing her throat to run all melty now...
Swinging her gut side to side, twirling around and shaking about, Zativa was putting on a complicated dance, well trained for this changed center of gravity compared to dancing while empty. She could hear Scarlet moaning with little shame within... She knew her acids had broken Scarlet's will to fight... not she could properly integrate Scarlet into the act~ Pausing to face the crowd, Zativa shakes her hips side to side, reaching down to poke and prod at the mare trapped within, gravity forcing all that chyme to the bottom, giving everyone a good look at Scarlet's form. The bony bulges, the shape of that spine pressed against the walls of that belly, making a clear bulge outward, the clear indication that Scarlet didn't have long left at all...
Within, Scarlet's eyes had even gone now. Faced with that perfect blackness of blindness, all Scarlet could do was feel... and feel she did, feeling as those acids melt more and more of her away, climbing more and more and more, creeping closer and closer to her frantically beating heart, her struggling lungs, and more importantly, towards her face, already halfway gone... It wouldn't be too long...
Each swing drives those fluids higher and higher... and as soon as Scarlet thinks she can't take it any more, as soon as she considers completely letting go, Zativa drops down to all four hooves, submerging Scarlet, now. Her mind, her heart, her lungs, what's left of her coat... it all melts away. With a jerk of the head, and a blurbling gasp... Scarlet expires completely. All that's left within is that thick, heavy chyme, and those rather light bones.
After taking a moment to rest her hind legs, Zativa grunts some, closing her eyes and sucking in a breath... Channeling some energy inward... there was one last bit to the show Zativa had to give. Slowly, a faint, blue-ish glow forms within Zativa's belly, and Scarlet quickly becomes aware again. The pegasus could see her own bones in there... and she could already feel the tugging at the fabric of her soul. She would be fully erased here... and she couldn't even utter a word against it. No words could escape her now non-corporeal form.
From the outside, all anyone could see was the shape of that skeleton, and that glow in Zativa's belly as the zebra stood up to continue the second half of her performance. It wouldn't be the longest one she'd done, but it was definitely the most complicated. Each shake and sway would be accompanied by loud sloshes, clatters, the sound of fluid and bone moving about in there... all the while Scarlet's very soul was fading, being melted to mix into the slurry as a sort of slime-like substance. Her silent moans never reach anyone's ears, her energy fading rapidly, her spirit eyes rolling back.... and with a firm squeeze to her gut after a speedy spin, Zativa extinguishes Scarlet's soul from this world, well and truly ending the mare just as the song ends.
As the crowd erupts with praise, Zativa drops down to her hooves, smiling at the crowd, before moving towards the usual nearby seat. Her gaze flicks towards the crowd before she sits down, scanning along, seeking to pick one out from the bunch she'd seen earlier. Slowly, everyone was going back to their business -- this would be the only performance for the day and as such Zativa was technically 'off' now. As she spots that red bat still looking at her, she gains a saucy demeanor, beckoning the bat mare with a hoof, inviting her to approach. With little else to do said bat indeed does approach, her gaze trained on that bony belly, all the while Zativa gets herself sat down upon that seat to make any rubs more than possible. She felt good, mulching Scarlet down... and with one final, bassy, strong-smelling belch... she lets Scarlet Sound's name slip from her mind forever, focused on this new mare now...
