Equus is barren, and the world has been reduced to rubble. Compared to what it once was, Equestria has fallen into a shell of it's former glory. Survivors attempt to band together, living their lives in desperation, barely clinging to life.

In the world's dying throes, they believed that they could save the world - and if not that, then at the very least, civilizations would endure due to harmony and cooperation between the creatures that lived in it.

Calamities beyond their comprehension have fallen from the sea of stars. And yet, Twilight Sparkle still clings to hope.
