Applejack makes the silly, wonderful mistake of helping Twilight Sparkle with a magical experiment. Through an incident with the magical artifact, she winds up in a place much like Ponyville in a body much like her original one, and yet so very, very different.

Luckily, the beautiful horse with a white face and blue eyes is there to help her through it. And she's there to help her, in return, when the artifact drags them both back to Ponyville.

Sometimes, when things change, it's best to focus on what's the same...
