Connor Roy 2

It was another day in my small town as I woke up and stretched my wings. I didn't want them to get to get sore since I still used them in my back yard. It was hard sometimes since my father kept a close eye on me. He didn't know I was part changeling, but he didn't want me to get lost again just in case something happened.

You may be wondering what I'm talking about. If you are, then go to my first story here

I used my hand and picked up a flower vase and my book bag at the same time with a darkish green aura that covered my hand as well as the objects. Too easy I thought to my self as I put the objects back down.

I grabbed an orange t-shirt and put it on with a pair of light blue jeans. Then I brushed my teeth and combed my hair. My hair used to be blonde but now it was it was darker and it had a tint of blue. I grabbed my book bag and greeted my "dog" as I got in my car. My dad rushed out and flashed his new wad of cash.

"Check these bills son!" My dad exclaimed as he jumped and ran around the car.

"That's great dad!" I replied.

"I know right! Anyway, how are you feeding this dog?"

"Just love him" I started," It will seem like you won't need to feed him"

I put the car in reverse and drove towards school.

I pulled into the parking lot and found found a convenient spot next to the sidewalk. It wasn't too far from the entrance. I walked into homeroom and sat down. The teacher was handing out my schedule when she stopped and stared at me. I looked at her with an eyebrow raised. I saw her brown eyes turn green for a second and she just stood there. My eyes shrinked as she grinned and left for her desk.

"Damn changelings." I whispered.

The bell rung about five minutes later and I walked up to the teacher. "Does Queen Chrysalis know you're here?" I scowled.

"She told me to keep an eye on you." It grinned and looked back at some random scribbles on a paper that wasn't English. Yet I could understand it. Weird.

"Typical." I said as I left for my first class. This year I had science as my first class.

I opened the heavy wooden door to the science lab. I was early and the teacher let us choose our seats. I chose a seat in the very back. You see, the rows were put in rows of five. There were six rows. The room was long ways larger and the doors were in the back. I decided to take a quick nap since it could take a while everyone got their stuff and get settled in.

"CONNOR!" a voice said with extreme panic. I opened my eyes and saw Chrysalis holding onto a ledge. A bunch of changelings were under a large stone pillar. I guessed it had landed on them. The sky was a dark yellow with black spots and it was swirling. I tried to get up but was pushed back down by something. I looked up but couldn't see it. I tried rolling over but what ever it was, it wasn't gonna let me budge. I faked a left roll and rolled right. Their foot slipped and they almost fell. I shouldn't say a foot, more like a hoof. It had a golden horseshoe on it and I looked up at the scared and battered Celestia. I quickly jumped up and rushed over to Chrysalis. I grabbed her hoof and proceeded to pull her up.

"USE YOUR WING!" I screamed as her right wing flapped. Her left wing was bent and twitched. I first thought why can't she use her horn but then found out after I pulled Chrysalis up. She sparked her horn and nothing but fizz came out. She looked down in defeat. Angrily, I ran and was about to punch the white alicorn before her horn started to glow and she grinned.

I awoke to all the kids in class staring at me. The teacher looked at me with serious disappointment and anger. She continued on with her lesson. I looked at a mirror placed against the wall next to my seat and could see sharpie and other marker drawings on my face. I was just lucky my wings didn't unfurl and show me true form. If I had one.

I was given my homework and was sent to gym. Now this was where trouble started to happen.

I walk in as the school bully of the 12th grade started to act up. The bully was a black kid with short brown hair and always wears some kind of brown clothing. His name was Kyle.(Cliche huh?) Today is was a red shirt with brown pants. He walked up to me and pushed me back.

"Stop it"I said as I pushed him back.

"I have 92 days of beating you missed. It's time to bring you up to date." He cracked his knuckle and pushed me against a corner. Two of his "friends" joined in. The one on the left, the tall one had brown hair, white skin, and his gym shirt and gym shorts on. They were gold and green. Same thing with the kid on the right only he was short and had black stubby hair with a golden brown tan skin. "I-I'm warning you" I said,"I've gone through shit you wouldn't believe over the summer!"

"Likely story" He said as he kneed me in the gut.

We somehow got into the middle of the locker room and I had enough of him and grabbed him by his throat  and raised him off the ground. I could feel the power of thousands of changelings rushing through my veins.I lost control as I narrowed my eyes which turned from blue to a deep green and announced to him,"You have messed with Connor Roy, King of the changelings!"

I snapped back to reality and released him from my iron grip as I backed away. Everyone started staring as I rubbed my eyes. They turned back to blue as I stared at my fallen foe.

"Fr-freak" He said as he grasped his thought and tried to walk away. I still wasn't changed yet so I walked into the bathroom at the end of the locker room, got into a stall with a working lock, and started to change. I quickly took of my orange t-shirt and before I could put on the gold colored shirt. I looked through a crack at the door and saw another pair of eyes staring at me. It was Kyle and he had seen my wings. I put on the shirt as quickly as I could. All I could hear was.

"HE HAS WINGS"

Everyone tried to stay away from me that gym day. They didn't believe I had wings. They and the girls who heard were more freaked out by me announcing my "kinglyness"

Two girls who had heard always tried to stick close to me. I eventually took notice and during dodge ball I went over and asked them their names. They had gotten out and during the entire time I had dodged every ball.

"I'm Vicky" the one with the kinky sunglasses said.

"I'm Oliver" The one with grayish hair said.

"I'm surprised you two aren't with the school with the 'being afraid because I'm strong' act." I said as they discussed something.

Isn't it obvious? a voice in my started.

"What do you want Chrysalis?" I whispered as I moved to an empty corner.

Those two, ponies are Celestia's peasants. You go over there and guess them by teasing. I'm sure it will be fun!

I shrugged it off and went back to the girls. "Hey girls! Just came back from Equestrian manor! Just checking in on my favorite mares over here!" I have to admit, it was fun teasing them.

They both started to sweat lightly as if they were trying to laugh. The one with the glasses looked at me and said," Say hi to Chrysalis for me okay?"

"I will" This was the last thing I said before catching a ball and throwing it hard to a different player on the opposite team. It bounced off of him and back over the line to our side.

It had to be after school when the girls asked me to drive them home. They told me where to go and I was just shocked to find out it was the one NEXT to my house.

"See you later girls" Was the last thing I said before driving two seconds to my place. Before I left I saw there "mom" who I knew was Celestia in human form. I waved to her and she just scowled and looked away.

"Jeez, what did I do?"

Became a king

"Oh, that makes sense." I said as I rolled my eyes. But after my sly comment I asked,"Why are they here, on Earth?"

Probably has something to do with me taking over Equestria.

I stopped for a moment,"How?"

Well you see, what you saw a couple of days ago when Cadence bowed down to me was actually just a changeling in her form. I didn't want to risk being found out again so I just placed a few of our changelings in strategic areas and waited until Shining Armor and my Cadence AND Celestia were in the same room before I attacked. What I didn't know was that Shining Armors magic spell could work both ways! Instead of it being pink, it turned green. Manehatten is the only place left that is full of...ponies.

"You know I have no idea on what your talking about, right?"

I know

I got out of my car and walked to the front door. I saw my dad and some lady with blue hair extensions and black hair.

Strange I thought Isn't my dad supposed to be at work? And who is this lady?.

I opened the screen door and then the heavy wooden one. "Hi dad." I said as I walked to the couch and put down my book bag. The lady turned around. She had light blue eyes.

Oh no Chrysalis startedIt can't be

"Say hello to your new mom!" My dad cheered. I said nothing and walked back outside and into my back yard. My backyard is small and covers a 40ft. area guarded by wooden fence posts. I quickly sprinted and jumped onto a crate as I used my momentum to get on the grill and finally the fence. I jumped and let my wings obliterate my shirt as I flew deep into the woods. I found a good opening as I sat on a log laying and rotting. I swooped down and landed softly on the log. I let out a small cry in remembering of my mom.

I stayed there for about three minutes before I saw a large flying animal in the sky. It started coming down towards me. I didn't care if I was struck down by a meteor at that moment. I felt as if my life meant nothing.

I saw it land in front of me. It wasn't a bird but my new mom. Her wings which were spread out for landing had know rested back on her waist. She had a few pieces of my ripped orange shirt.

"Lose something?" She said as her hand glowed dark blue and the pieces floated to my shirt, repairing themselves.

"You wouldn't help me if you knew who I was and who  I was in a relationship with." I sniffed.

"Who?" She asked.

"You really don't want to know."

"Tell me!" She persisted.

"Fine!" I stood up,"You may want to sit down first." I warned. She walked over and took a seat.

"I'll give you a hint. I'm a king and I can control changelings."

So much for a hint said a voice in my head.

She just stared at me, mouth agape.

"You evil litt-" She was interrupted by a shuffling in the woods behind us.

Two changelings came out nowhere in the woods."King! King! We felt your distress and came here as soon as we could!"

My step mom just stared at me as she said,"So, you took hand in the uprising of changelings? You monster. What are you doing here anyway, what do you really look like?" She shot at me with a laser of light as my wings disappeared and I felt weaker.

"You, you are human?"

The changelings looked around and then at me."We, we can't feel you anymore!"

"What do you mean,'feel me'?" I said with slight panic. I heard a loud fire behind me. My mom stepped back and the changelings bowed.

"What is going on here?" The voice said. One changeling stood up and spoke

"The king is...gone!" For some reason I felt fear. I shot a glance at my step mom. She looked back as if she just did something horrible.

"Look, Chrysalis." I started as I felt a hoof on me push me down. An angry changeling pounced on my pinning me down as he growled and beard his teeth.

"WHAT THE-!" I screamed before a hoof covered my mouth. I was about to finally give up until I threw the changeling off and I sprinted to a random direction. I closed my eyes and just kept moving. I finally stopped when I tripped and fell down a ditch, scraping my knee pretty bad. I was breathing hard. I reached in my pocket for some miracle to happen.

"Come on, come on" I whispered. The changelings flew overhead. One stopped and looked into the pretty deep ditch. Seeing me, it called its friends. "I guess this is my final day" I sniffed."Goodbye world." I whispered as I closed my eyes/

They started to close in on me and right when it looked like I was done for, a miracle happened. At first my back hurt and every drop of blood in my body ached.

"AH SHIT!" I yelled as I slowly floated in the air covered in a dark green aura. The next thing I knew was that in a flash I had my wings and the loyalty of the five changelings in front of me.

"What.The.Hell." I said staring at my much missed wings.

I cracked my fists and felt the strength of hundreds changelings once again. Everything was turning out okay until I saw something in the corner of my eye.

"I've so got you this time!" Kyle said with his rifle and camera phone in each hand. The clicking of the phone suggested he had just gotten done taking video of something. He kept his rifle aimed at me as he backed away with his bright orange hunting gear on.
