Devan, an 18-year-old boy from planet Earth, was visited by a mysterious woman with strange, dyed hair one evening at a bus stop. Upon answering a slew of unasked-for questions, Devan is asked about My Little Pony after the woman sees his partially hidden Derpy Hooves T-shirt. With newfound excitement in the conversation, Devan talks with the woman until she grabs his shoulder. His vision darkens and a minute later, he wakes up in a whole new world, leaving his universe behind. Princess Celestia greets him in the magical world of Equestria, where she offers him a home to stay. Prior to this, Equestria suffered the effects of a devastating mega-storm rolling through its lands. Reconstruction efforts were put into place, and she requested Devan's help. When the efforts were finally complete months later, Devan struggled to come to grips with Princess Celestia preparing to return him to his world. Through an extended stay granted by the princess, a new trouble awaits that will change Devan's new world forever.

Author's Note

• There are many different perspectives throughout this book. The current POV is provided at the top of each chapter.
• This story takes place around Season 5 of G4 MLP
• Just to note for anybody not aware: trotting for ponies is the equivalent of skipping for humans. A while back, I assumed trotting meant walking until reading about it later on. "The Trotting Dead" references also serve this sort of confusion, but regardless, trotting in this book is a slightly-faster-than-walking pace. Just wanted to clarify ;)
• Also, I could not decide on what measurements to use: imperial or metric ... therefore I used an American approach. Sorry not sorry.
• This book was first conceptualized in 2015. The storyline has come a long way since then. Hope you enjoy it!!!
