~Aftermath~
The destruction of Canterlot's scientific research facility of Equestria's unknown creatures and monsters, has caused panic among the princesses, as many beings in that facility hold power that to cause Armagedón. The facility itself was burned both inside and out, the surrounding campus still on fire when we finally arrived to answer the SOS call. When we finally put out the flames, pay it mind that these flames were like none we've ever seen, there was only a handful of survivors. Everyone else was either burned till they were unrecognizable, decapitated, or had been eviscerated from the neck. The few survivors we did have were babbling and screaming nonsense, saying "She is free" or "She's coming back for us". So far those survivors are still in mental AND physical rehabilitation. Only one pony, who had been burned on their entire left side, gave us a vague explanation as to what happened. Here is the full, pieced together interview we managed to assemble.
-So, can you recall anything that happened on the afternoon of April 16?
-...Uh...I was pulled aside by my superiors...they said i was doing a new job...
-And what was that job?
-I was...doing a monthly checkup...on one of our subjects...
-What was that subject's name?
-Uh...S-Scarlett...We named her Scarlett...
-And what is your name?
-...Y-Yearning Nonsense...I'm...a biology researcher...
-During your time with Scarlett, did you notice anything else that was strange?
-...No...I was...in the dark for...over an hour...I...I couldn't see anything...
-Did this Scarlett show any signs of aggression or aggravation, maybe some excitement?
-She....was loud...so...so damn loud... (Yearning lets out a quiet sob)
-Yearning, i know this might be difficult for you but you must tell me what is it that you remember. Can you tell me anything after you visited Scarlett? Do you recall seeing what started the fire?
-Fire...fire...FIRE, SHE STARTED THE FIRE, SHE KILLED THEM! SHE WAS SO LOUD! SHE WAS BURNING EVERYTHING! EVERYTHING! EVERYONE! SHE DID THIS TO ME, TO US! SHES STILL OUT THERE, SHES GOING TO COME BACK FOR US! RED! RED! HER FIRE IS RED, HER FIRE IS BRIGHT RED! SHES GOING TO COME BACK! SHES GOING TO KILL US ALL! (The sound of struggling now rages in the background)
-Yearning please calm down! Who is coming back? You need to tell me, we need to know who is going to come back!
