Worlds collide. Two months ago, Izzy Moonbow’s life changed completely when the evil alicorn Opaline attacked Equestria and Misty Brightdawn sacrificed her life in order to defeat her. Now with harmony restored to Equestria, things should have gone back to normal. For Izzy though, it is anything but. Although the Mane 5 attempt to comfort her, Izzy feels guilty about Misty’s death and believes she could have done more to save her. In a desperate attempt to save her sister, Izzy inadvertently winds up in possession of an ancient spell and uses it to travel back in time and change the events of the past.

However, every action has consequences. When her attempt to save Misty alters the future, Izzy becomes trapped in a reality in which Opaline has conquered Equestria, threatening all who dare oppose her, and Sunny Starscout is now the tyrannical despot’s prisoner. Unity is all but a myth and dissent is punishable by death. That is, unless Izzy and Misty ally themselves with a secret rebellion run by Hitch Trailblazer, coax a disgruntled and cynical Princess Twilight Sparkle out of retirement, and rescue the imprisoned Sunny.

Ultimately, to save the world she is in and return to the future that she knows, Izzy’s only hope is to survive and fight for her life. But will making the ultimate sacrifice be enough save the multiverse? The stakes have never been higher in this grand and epic finale to the G5 Universe franchise….
