How to be a better pony...kinda
AppleJack heard the door to her house slam shut as she saw her little sister's face that was anything but happy. The country mare wanted to find out what had upset the filly so much. "Apple Bloom? What happened?"
"I'll tell you what happened! That bucking Diamond Tiara snook up on me and took a photo of mah blank flank and sent those pictures to everyone in Ponyville! So now not only does mah school know I don't have a cutie mark, the whole town knows! And she also took pictures of mah friend's too! I oughta give her a hard smack across the face!"
"Apple Bloom, violence does not solve anything!" AppleJack lectured. "But something does need to be done, I'll talk with her parents and see if we can't get this straighten out, alright?"
Apple Bloom's anger cooled down a little before she nodded. "Okay...but ah still think I should give her a taste of her own medicine."
"Now why don't you get ready for supper," a little something to eat might make yah feel better."
The next morning, AppleJack trotted over to Diamond Tiara's house and knocked on the door. The pony to answer it was Diamond's mother, Spoiled Rich. From the looks of things, it didn't look like she was expecting any guest.
"Oh it's just a poor commoner," she said dully.
AppleJack gave her the dirty eye. "Excuse me? You realize the only reason you're rich is because of mah farm and everything ah do on it. So I'd show some respect if I were you!"
Spoiled Rich rolled her eyes. "Whatever, so why are you here?"
sweet horse radish, this mare is rude"Well I wanted to talk to you about your daughter. My little sister told me Diamond Tiara's been picking on her and her friends and was wondering if you knew anything about it."
"*gasp* I can't believe you would say such an awful thing about my daughter! You know full well my she's an absolute angel! I'm appalled you even assumed such a thing!"
"Listen lady, I know with you being rich, you don't have anything up here," AppleJack pointed to her forehead, "But I think you should believe me when I say your daughter is a little bitch." Just like you are.
"I am absolutley shocked you would assume my daughter is something horrible you poor peasant! You think you can knock on my door and tell me how my family is! Do you know who I am?"
"Well besides a total bitch I have no idea," AppleJack said flatly.
"I am the wife of the richest pony in Ponyville! Filthy Rich! So I suggest you take your disgusting commoner hooves and get out!" She shouted and slammed the door in AppleJack's face.
"Bucking Whore," AppleJack muttered and trotted away. Well talking to Diamond's mother obviously didn't work so now she had to go to plan B.
"So why exactly did you call us here, AppleJack darling?" Rarity asked. She along with the rest of the mane 6 had been called over by AppleJack.
"Well you see, it's my little sister and her friends. They've been getting bullied lots by Diamond Tiara and ah've tried talking to her mom about it, but you know her, delusional and her iq is so low she makes Snips and Snails look like they have PhDs."
"Have you tried talking to Filthy Rich?" Twilight asked.
"Well ah was going to but then ah remembered he was out of town so ah had to deal with his wife but of course it didn't work out so here we are."
"So what do you suggest we do?" Rainbow Dash asked.
"Ah'm thinking we pull Diamond Tiara from school and spend the whole day teaching her to be a better pony," AppleJack answered
"That doesn't sound too bad, but will Miss Cherilee be okay with it?" Pinkie asked.
"Ah'm sure once we explain the situation, she'll be fine with it," AppleJack reassured.
"Okay so tomorrow, we'll pull Diamond Tiara from school and spend the whole day with her to be a better pony," Twilight confirmed. All her friends nodded and the meeting was ended.
At the schoolhouse, the fillies and colts were doing attendance roll call when Ms. Cherilee heard a knock on the door. "Come in!" she said kindly as Twilight Sparkle entered the room. Cherilee as well as the rest of the classes' eyes widened in surprise upon seeing Twilight. She bowed down. "Oh Princess Twilight, what brings you here?"
"No need to bow, Ms. Cherilee. I was wondering if Diamond Tiara was here?" Twilight smiled.
Diamond Tiara looked up upon hearing her name. She gasped. "Princess Twilight?! You wanted to see me?!"
"Yes, Diamond Tiara." Twilight then asked Ms. Cherilee, "Would it be okay if me and my friends took her for the day?" She then whispered in the teacher's ear explaining why. Ms. Cherilee nodded and looked at Diamond.
"Diamond Tiara, you are being dismissed from school today and are spending the day with Twilight and her friends."
"What for?" Diamond was curious. Although spending a day with Princess Twilight was something she dreamed of, she was still confused why.
"You'll see why," Twilight said as she left the classroom.
"A whole day without Diamond Tiara? That's a win!" Sweetie Belle said.
"But we still have Silver Spoon," AppleBloom pointed out.
"Ahh don't worry about her. She's just a follower and mediocre bully at worst." Scootaloo replied.
"Hey!" Silver Spoon whined.
"Enough!" Ms. Cherilee said sternly. She watched Twilight leave the classroom with Diamond Tiara following behind. After they were out of sight she continued class as normal.
"So why exactly did you and your friends wanted to spend the day with me again?" Diamond asked but Twilight didn't need to answer because she led her to her friends at SugarCube Corner and that's where Diamond got her answer.
"You're with us because we want to teach you to be a better filly. That stunt you pulled on mah little sister was so uncalled for!" AppleJack said.
"Oh come on, it's not that bad," Diamond tried to justify her actions.
"Maybe it isn't for you but you wouldn't like it was you being bullied would yah?"
"ummm....no?"
"Exactly so you're spending the whole day with us whether you like it or not."
Rarity then trotted forward. "Let's start off with a question. If you saw a wallet on the ground and it had a lot of bits in it, what would you do?
"Finders keepers the bits are mine!"
"No," AppleJack said flatly. Jesus, this is going to be harder than I thought
"Fine, I'll only take some of the bits and leave the rest in it."
"Diamond!"
"Okay okay! I'll leave all the bits in the wallet."
"And what should you do with it?" Fluttershy asked.
"I don't know...leave it alone?"
"No, you turn it in to a trusted grown-pony. So if you're going to turn a wallet in. Make sure you only give it to somepony trusted and not some weird looking hobo pony on the corner." AppleJack said.
"Now you're going to learn about "Humility," Rarity said
"Isn't that like water vapor in the air?" Diamond asked
"That's humidity. Humility is when all ponies must understand that being better than the rest, there should be no reason to rub it in ones face. Right, Rainbow Dash?" Rarity asked her friend with a glare.
"Uhh yeah?" Rainbow said looking confused.
"So I'm going to ask you something. What do you think when you hear the word common ponies?"
"Poor ponies!" Diamond said confidently
"Jesus, this is harder than I thought," AppleJack muttered.
"No, what you're suppose to think of is hard-working ponies who deserve respect even if they don't make as much as other rich ponies," Rarity lectured.
"But I think they're jealous that they don't have nice things!" Diamond said.
"See this is why you need humility in your life," Rarity said annoyed.
"And what you need is a colt-friend."
Rarity gasps. "Oh that's it you little shit!" she prepared to give Diamond a good smacking across the face, but Twilight prevented by holding her in a telekinetic grasp.
"Rarity calm down!" she said sternly. "You don't want to look bad beating up a filly!"
"How about we teach her on helping other ponies in need," Fluttershy suggested. "Let's do a little roleplay. Rainbow, you're going to pretend to rob AppleJack. Diamond Tiara, watch and learn."
during Rainbow Dash and AppleJack's roleplay, Rainbow Approached Applejack and told her "This is a robbery! Give me all your apples!"
"Oh no! I'm being robbed!" AppleJack said in a fake shocked tone. "Somepony, please help me!"
Fluttershy then walked in and looked at Rainbow. "Excuse me, good mare. May I ask you to not rob my friend please?"
"Okay no no no, this is not going to work. This is very unrealistic," Rarity facehoofed.
"What do you mean, not realistic?"
"Fluttershy, the robber is not going to stop robbing somepony just because you asked nicely. What the hell you think they're gonna say? 'Oh I was about to rob you but since you asked nicely to stop, I won't anymore' no they're still going to rob and you won't have time to even ask anyways because you'll already be killed.
"Asking someone nicely to stop and without violence is a good idea, Fluttershy." Twilight smiled. "But, Diamond if you see somepony being robbed go tell a royal guard or if you can't find one a trusted pony."
Diamond nodded.
"Rarity you take Diamond first, try and teach her the value of generosity," Twilight told her friend.
"Will do, Twilight. Come, Diamond Tiara it's obvious you have a lot to learn about."
