Corruption is Magic: Iosis

“Luna.” I say with an even tone of confusion.

“Yes?” Luna says with a chirp in my voice, This feels so strange. I let out a slight sigh, placing two fingers on the bridge of my nose and pinch it I ask.

“How did you do this?”

“Well, thou had taught us about the transformations via the plants but all transformation magic we had heard of was temporary. This made us think, what caused the transformations to remain after the effects stopped. Thus we hypothesized that the effects had left an imprint over the consumers base traits.” Luna explains and as I watch her explain in my own voice I get a feeling as if I am watching myself going on one of my talks about a new discovery. “Think of it as a kind of… sequence that makes you… you. This then brought us to a thought, could we somehow pull those sequences to replicate a person’s sequence or take pieces of it.”

“Luna.”

“Yes, Twilight?” Luna asks with a wide smile.

“Did you perhaps also take my tendency to go on lengthy talks about things I'm passionate about?” I ask but as soon as my question leaves my lips Luna wilts and seems to become nervous.

“Oh, we apologize if we annoyed you.”

“No, no. I just… I’ve never seen you like that.”

“We… tend to keep that way of acting reserved and hidden. Sister always told us it was unbecoming of royalty.”

“I… I’m sorry Luna that you had to grow up thinking that but don’t feel like you have to hide anything from me.” I say getting down to eye level with Luna who sheepishly looks at me with her face red as a cherry. In a flash I feel something touch my lips but the next Luna’s face is turned away from me, It takes no time for me to realize just what Luna had done and though surprised by the sudden act I smile widely. When she looks back to most likely say something I take the chance to reciprocate the act and kiss Luna in a fierce and passionate locking of our lips. I don’t know if the act is spurred by myself or my corrupt self or both but what I know at the moment is that Luna and I are both in bliss as our tongues intertwine. The moment however is cut short when I hear a loud whistle come from the direction of Vo.

Breaking the kiss I look out to him and glare. “It seems someone can’t wait for his testing to start.” I say with a slight growl.

“It seems that way.” Luna says followed by her clearing her throat. “Let us return to our normal voice and get some of our other tests.” The sound of a bottle being uncorked follows her words and she begins to drink the fluid. I smile and get up from una who I glance at and grin when I see her heavy expansion and contraction of her chest. She was really enjoying that. Who knew she was kinky.

Turning to Vo I see his smile fall and he looks at me with panic in his eyes. Cracking my knuckles I slowly walk towards him. “You couldn’t have just kept quiet. Could you?” I ask but before he can respond I punch him in the chest feeling a satisfying snapping as my fist collides with his ribs. Vo coughs and heaves as the win has been knocked out of him and I chuckle. “I haven’t even empowered my fist with magic Vo, come on. I thought you were a tough guy.” I say knowing full well I augmented him with potions to be weak and have hollow bones. “Tell me, how has it been, having become the public use piece of ass for my guards?”

“F-f-fuck you.” Vo groans as he gets air back in his lungs.

“Come now, I thought you liked fucking a bunch of people.” I say with an ear to ear smile. “I mean, I would expect you to be thanking me.”

“You bit-”

“What?” I say sinisterly as I watch the chains grip his throat, stopping his words in their tracks. Slowly he begins to be strangled.

“I’m… sorry… my queen.” He sputters and I smirk seeing the chains vanish.

“That’s going to be five hours in the dungeons.” I say and watch as panic shoots through his very being.

“No, please, anything but that.” I smile and shake my head.

“Where has all that bravado gone?” I say getting low and grabbing his hair and ripping it back so he looks up to me. “Back when you kidnapped my friends, when you killed Gelfree, beat Beryl to an inch from death. Remember when you used to be hot shit? Where has that gone?” I ask with venom dripping from my words.

“I don’t want to go down there… please.” He begs and I growl.

“How pathetic. Grow up and take your punishment with your chin up.” I spit as I get up, letting his head go but giving his chin a hard kick upwards hearing a crack and the sound of teeth snapping together and crunching. Following that he lets out a howl and I look down at him with disgust as his mouth starts oozing blood. “Don’t worry you won’t die. You don’t get that mercy in life anymore.”

“Twilight?” I hear Luna say and I turn around and give her a kind smile.

“Ah, Luna, are you ready?” I ask as I watch Luna’s gaze shift from me to Vo who lays upon the ground. A look of conflicting emotions on her face and I know exactly why. However if the stories of Nightmare moon were true she has seen and done far worse to those who wronged her. Maybe she just needs a little nudge to embrace that side of her again. I think as I take a few steps towards her which causes her gaze to snap to me. “Luna, relax, it’s me. It’s Twilight.”

“Yes we are aware but… Twilight, this is not right.”

“Not right? Luna, he raped and killed so many people. He nearly killed me. He has no remorse for his actions even now. What is wrong with doing to them what they would do unto others.”

“Twilight, this isn’t the way-”

“Luna, Friendship and kindness won’t help you here.” I sternly raise my voice silencing Luna who shrinks away from me slightly. Taking a deep breath I lower myself down and look at her with soft eyes. “Luna, sometimes being cruel is needed to set an example. Do I enjoy getting revenge, sure. But in the end it serves another means.” I say and I turn to look at Vo as I move to be beside Luna. “He had his chances to change, imagine what this rat would have done if he found our home.” I say quietly into Luna’s ear and I grin slightly as I see her fur prickle at the thought.

“But-”

“No buts, an evil done to evils is not evil. It is doing the world a service by punishing them. Look at all the evils back home that could never be reformed.” I say as I place a hand on her head and drag it down her mane in a gentle pet.

“W-We… we don’t want to become a mon-”

“Don’t,” I say, cutting off before she can finish what she is about to say. “You won’t ever become one. Not as long as I’m here. Monsters harm the innocent and enjoy it. They feel no remorse for their actions when they do evil to good people. I won’t ever let you do that.” I say sternly as I wrap my arms around Luna, she slowly nods and I feel a grin threatening to spread from ear to ear but I know full well that my corruption is grinning wide enough for both of us.

“We… We will hold thou to thy word.” Luna quietly says as she takes a deep breath. “We don’t want to be lost again.”

“We won’t let you lose your way.”

“Promise?” Luna asks as she pulls away from me to look me in the eyes. Letting my smile slip through a bit I nod and offer her my hand.

“Better yet, it’s a deal. I won’t let you stray away from our path. In return let’s be side by side till the very end.” I say hiding the magic scroll behind Luna as my hand stays held out towards her. Without a second of hesitation Luna takes my hand and shakes it with a small smile on her lips. Sorry Luna, I can’t take any chances.
