Author's Note

This will be enough for you mortals. So don't be complaining that its too short or "It says a bad thing when the author doesn't put over 1,000 words in one chapter."
You mortals aren't ever happen with what you get always needing to complain I will take my time with these. This story really was just a shot in the dark to work so here we are.
And plus it will get longer throughout the story so be patient.

Getting Acquainted.

Matthew's pov: After agreeing to them asking to be my "family" we started to walk towards a little town or something I don't know what it would be classified as. "So to break the silence who will I be staying with and before you answer I am not gonna sit around. Im going to help you because that's what a good person does when offered to stay at someones house." I say.

Twilight says "You can stay with me. If you don't mind that is."

"No I do not mind Twilight but there is some daylight left why don't you all show me around." I say. And as we start walking around the town. Twilight shows me where they all live. And while we are walking around I hear.

"LOOK OUT." *crash*

"My legs. That hurt." I say and when I turn around I see three fillys being scolded by Rarity so I step in. "Rarity its okay they didn't mean to and im sure they won't do it again ain't that right girls."

"That's right mister it won't happen again." All three say.

"Now before we split I would like to introduce myself my name is Matthew and you don't need to be formal just call me Matthew. Now what are your names?" I say

"Our names are Scootaloo, Sweetiebelle, and Applebloom. And nice to meet you Matthew." Applebloom says.

"Well those are some good names for such adorable fillys." I say while booping them on the nose. I sit there with a giggle watching their noses scrunch up.

"Now where were we ladies." I say so we can continue the tour.

"And that is all of ponyville Matthew." Twilight says

"Well I guess we should get going since its almost night." AppleJack says

"Goodnight Matthew it was nice meeting you." They all say.

"Goodnight everyone." I say back

"Well I guess we should head back to my house huh Matthew." Twilight says. I nod my head in agreement. As we get to her house which is a tree a friggin tree as we walk inside I hear her call out "Spike! Im back!" After she says that I hear footsteps come down the stairs

"Okay Twilight. How did it go did you defeat Nightmare moon?" Spike says

"Yes we did Spike. We also found a human the first of his kind here." Twilight says

"So your Spike, cool name. Nice to meet you im Matthew." I say as I kneel down and go for a fist bump as he returns it.

"Nice to meet you as well Matthew. So I assume your gonna be crashing here for the time being?" Spike says

"That is correct Spike. And also where can I sleep Twilight and don't offer your bed it's yours if you ask me multiple times I will sleep outside." I say

"I don't really have anything for you to sleep on besides the floor if you don't mind that is." Twilight says

"No I don't mind Twilight all i need is a pillow and I can fall asleep." I say and she grabs me a pillow and she tries to lead me to her room but I say "Twilight I cannot sleep in the same room as others because it plagues my dreams to nightmares and it shows anything that will happen to you both and you two will feel it so I will sleep down here for now."

"Okay Matthew if you don't mind to share. what would one of the scenarios be?" Twilight says

"Well the tree could get lit on fire and I would try to save you both but fail and be tormented by it forever." I say

"Well just know that this tree has a spell to prevent it from catching on fire." Twilight says

"Goodnight you two." Spike says

"Night Spike. Goodnight Twilight." I say

"Goodnight Matthew." Twilight says

As I lay there falling into slumber I think what could happen to me and the ones I just met and now care for. "I bet those fillys have school tomorrow. I might ask Rarity if they do maybe go there to learn about stuff about Equestria." I whisper to myself. And I finally fall into slumber. As I open my eyes I realize that I am dreaming as I sit there staring I hear a voice a Divine voice at that.

"So your body was what Im stuck in how. How correct I see only justice for those who are conflicted in the wrong and you want to make it right. You want to protect the ones you care for how right that is. You know what mortal I have no use for my god powers so I grant you my powers to do right. Any god who opposes justice must be eradicated." The being says before vanishing.

"I will do as you say Divine One." I say.
