Sunburst to Sunbeam

Sire's Hollow. It seemed that every time he visited, there was always something different and yet the only thing that really remained consistent was the town layout, half stuck in the past and half modernized thanks to two ponies who were always at odds with each other.

Firelight and Stellar Flare, they were probably as consistent as the town itself in that they were both a bit too much for some ponies, even their own children. That's why he had come to visit wasn't it? He had promised his mother that he would visit whenever possible and it just so happened that he had some free time this weekend and couldn't think of an excuse not to go, he was working on a new spell but that wouldn't take up two whole days!

Sunburst sighed as he knocked on the door to his old family home, a moment passed and his very organized mother, Stellar Flare, opened the door with a big grin on her face as she said "Sunburst! So great to have you visit! Come in dearest, I know you told me to stop trying to interfere with your life but I couldn't help myself! I've been making lots of plans since your last visit!"

Sunburst groaned and went "Mom, I thought I told you that if I need a plan it would be my plan! I don't need you to be mapping out my life! It's my life! Not yours!"

Stellar Flare just went "Oh nonsense honey, A boy will always need his mother, will you at least look at all the plans I've written out for you?"
