Shadow Colt quits his job after his group of the royal guard gets in a fight and one ends up in the hospital. He spends five years doing everything other than being productive but after a house break-in and finding out his friend disappeared he questions his life. He finds his friend in a local hospital with amnesia while their he meets an old friend their talk leads him to rejoin the royal guard. It wouldn't take long for him to fall back into old habits as he finds himself in a fight with his ill-hearted brother which leaves it to him to save Canterlot and Shining Armor.
