Spike was what you'd call a nerd. Not the stereotypical kind you see on tv and comic books, although the only thing close to that was that he wore glasses, but the kind who keeps to himself and not really interact with others. The kind who's nose is always buried in books and achieves the highest grades in every class. Needless to say, Spike was a prime target for bullies. It was like that for him growing up. He believed that things would get better once he made it to college, but as if the universe itself wanted him to suffer, one of his school bullies SOMEHOW got accepted into the same college as he did. His name was Garble, and he made it his life's mission to make anyone's life he viewed lower than him a living hell; that and banging every single girl he could get his hands on. Garble made some passing remark about how his father will pay for him to pass, but Spike wasn't really listening to him. He grabbed his backpack and headed out of the class; wanting to get away from Garble as fast as possible. He knew first hand how bad his bully tactics could get.
Spike walked down the hallway and turned down the first corner where he saw someone sitting on the floor by the janitor's closet crying. It was a girl, and not any girl. "Well....what if I helped you." Spike suggested for some reason. "If you want, I could help you retake the exam for next week." While it is true that students could retake an exam they failed, they could only get ONE redo, and that's it. What ever grade they get on this one will be their final grade. Spike reached out his hand and helped her to her feet.
"You'd do that for me?" she asked.
"Yeah, sure." he answered. Both Spike and Sunset headed over to the office to sign her up to retake the exam. Sunset gave Spike an appreciative smile for offering to help her prepare. They both agreed to meet up at his apartment later so he could start to help her. As Spike was walking away, he started to wonder just what it was he'd gotten himself into. Was he making a big mistake? After all, he didn't really know her that well, and yet, she's was going to come by his apartment later? Spike could only hope nothing bad comes from this.

There was a knock at Spike's door. "She's here." he said. Heading over to the door, he opened it and was greeted by Sunset herself. In her hand was her bag carrying everything she needed for tonight. "Hey there." she said. "Thanks again for helping me."

"I really need to pass this test, but I need to know, why are you helping me?"
"To tell the truth, I don't know." Spike answered truthfully. "You looked like you were in trouble, and I just feel the need to do something about it, I guess."
"Well, you really are helping me out a lot, thank you." she said. Before Spike knew it, Sunset was already super close to him. Sunset didn't mention anything about a payment, and neither did he. Before long, Spike began explaining to Adagio how to solve a certain problem while at the same time, someone passing by noticed the two hot girls sitting with Spike. It was someone from Garble's group, and his facial expression said he had to get outta there and find Garble immediately. Adagio and Sunset were just leaving the building when they were confronted by Garble. The guy was putting on his best player look as he approached the girls. "Hey there." he said. "Say, why don't we...."

"Hey, wait a minute." Garble replied as he hurried in front of them. "What's the rush? Why don't the three of us get to know each other for a bit."
Adagio, now getting aggravated, decided to end this right now. "We're not interested in guys with vaginas." The statement caused a reaction from everyone close enough to hear it, even Sunset was having trouble keeping her laughter in. Turning towards the building, Garble marched inside; fists clenched and ready for a fight. Entering the library, he looked around for any signs of Spike, but found nothing. Ignoring the librarian's warning to be quiet, he continued his search; knocking over carts of books and violently pushing people out of his way. It only came to an end when the librarian herself confronted Garble with an untold amount of anger. Garble ignored her since she was just an old lady, but this old lady was able to grab him by the neck, lift him off the ground, and bring him to the exit where he was thrown down the stairs in front of everyone.

Once outside, Spike started to head over to his first class, only to be stopped when two guys grabbed him from behind.
"Hey, what are you doing?!" he yelled as he struggled to get away. "Let me go!"
"Sorry, no can do." one of them said.
"Yeah, If we bring you to Garble, we'll be rewarded with a trip to one of his father's night clubs." the other explained. Spike had forgotten all about the bounty placed on him by that spoiled jackass. He didn't even know the reason for it anyway, just that Garble is trying to get his hands on him for some reason. Spike continued to struggle as the two guys brought him around the building, into the parking lot where Garble and three of his goons were waiting. Spike was soon thrown to the ground where he heard Garble cracking his knuckles. "So you think you could just walk in on my territory and take what belongs to me?" he said.
"What are you talking about?" Spike asked.
"Shut up! I'll ask the questions here!" he yelled before grabbing him by the shirt and lifting him up. "Just what the hell is going on with you and those hot pieces of meat?! Word is, you've been hanging around them a lot lately!"
Hot pieces of meat? Was he referring to Sunset and Adagio? Was this way there was a bounty placed on him? Spike didn't answer his question for reasons of not wanting to dig himself in a deeper hole he's already in, however, because he didn't answer, Garble then threw him to the ground in anger. Spike groaned in pain, and attempted to get up, but was stopped when Garble stepped on his back and pressed him to the ground. He pressed down on his back hard making Spike cry out in pain. "I asked you a question." he said. "What were you doing with them?!"
"T-They needed h-help with t-the r-re-test." he answered.
"Don't LIE!" Garble yelled; delivering a kick to Spike's side. Spike let out another yelp of pain as Garble's entourage laughed and mocked him. Garble kicked him three more times before he was grabbed by the back of his shirt, and thrown backwards; hitting the ground hard. He looked up to see who would dare lay a hand on him, only to find that it was campus police. He looked to find his entourage only to discover that they were long gone. "You were warned about attacking students." said the cop. "I don't give a damn WHO your father is, this will NOT stand!"
"We have you on camera." said the other cop as he pointed to his body cam and the multiple security cams that were around them. "So there's no way weaseling out of this. Garble was picked up and put in handcuffs while the other officer went to tend to Spike who could only painfully chuckle to himself as he saw Garble being lead away; shouting about how his father will sue the cops and the school for treating him like this.

Spike had been in the infirmary recovering from his assault until about 2:45pm when Sunset and Adagio came in. Word had spread about how Garble had been arrested on assault charges after attacking a poor nerd. "What do you think?" Adagio said slowly walking towards him. "We still need to properly thank you for helping us." With a sultry look on her face, Adagio place a hand on Spike's chest, and pushed him back until he was pressed against the wall. Sunset walked in after; closing the door behind her with the same look as Adagio. "Besides, we still need a tutor for the next semester."
