A Star Igniting the Heavens
"Alex we no longer can support you within this workplace. I'm sorry, but you've been let go." His manager said.
"Kiley, you know how much I need this. Can't you give me even just two more weeks?" He asked her. "I only need that much to get the rings."
Kiley cut Alex off and said sadly, "I'm sorry... I am. Honestly, I would rather fire Dave than let you go with all his recent issues with the women here. I'm your friend and I hope you know that. I wish I could do more. However, this is coming from above and I have no choice."
Alex let one tear out and wiped it away quickly. "Fine," was all he said as he turned around and left.
He went out to his car, opened up the door, and started it up. He took a breath, went to close the door, and was immediately met with the sight of another car rushing towards him. He jumped out as the shiny red convertible smashed into his beat-up black vehicle. The woman inside shot through both of their windows and was silent. He couldn't believe his eyes and went to go check if she was ok. Then both vehicles lit on fire and he jumped back as best he could. Unfortunately, there was a small explosion and he got hit with a sharp piece of metal. He called the emergency number and explained the situation to them. Several minutes later ER vehicles came rushing in. Luckily he was not injured that much and could be stitched up on the spot, but the woman didn't have that luck. She was dead. He told them what had happened in more detail and was allowed to leave.
He checked the time and realized that he had missed the last bus and had to walk back to his apartment. The walk was excruciating, taking nearly two hours, but what came next was just more pain. He put the key in his door and opened it just to find his girlfriend having sex with his best friend against the wall. Tears spilled from Alex's eyes and he quietly closed the door and left the building.
Once he was outside he screamed and punched the brick wall bloodying his left hand. Just a few minutes later he got a text from her asking, "hey babe where are you?" More tears left his eyes as he threw his phone on the ground and crushed it with his boot in anger. He ran away from the building and just kept running. However, he ended up seeing a bar he hadn't seen before and decided to go in.
Three hours later he was drowning in vodka, with two bottles already gone, and was working on the third one. A tap on the table in front of him got his attention. Alex looked up and saw that a young girl was in front of him. He grumbled and took another shot.
"Hey, dude don't be rude just trying to get your attention," she said to him.
Alex looked back at her and grumbled, "what... umph... what do you want?"
She smiled at him and just said, "well, I am the Bartender and I want you to try a new drink. A new concoction that I just made. On the house by the way."
"What's... ugh... what's it called?" he asked.
"Viscous Nova Soul," she said with a proud smile.
"Why not..." he answered slowly. He noticed, as she made the drink, that she was wearing a black tank top, had some fairly dark makeup, light purple hair, and some piercings. However, she somehow seemed both unusual and unidentifiable. Hell, it was as if the rest of the bar was ignoring her, but he just thought it was because he was drunk off his ass.
She finished making her concoction and slid it over to him, "love doing that," she said to herself.
Alex grabbed the glass housing the luminous blue drink and asked her, "who... oof... who are you?"
"Just told you the Bartender," she answered.
"Well... nothing to lose," Alex said to himself as he got ready to slam the drink.
"Woah there, careful. It's got a kick to it and one hell of a burn," she said to him giggling at her statement.
Alex grunted at her and slammed it hard, drinking it all in nearly one gulp. He started to say, "actually tastes pretty go..."
However, he was interrupted by an immense pain in his skull and heart and tumbled to the ground. His skin felt like it was being melted away and as if he was being compressed at the same time. He tried to scream but found he couldn't even make a sound. He looked up at her and the last thing he heard was her saying, "see ya later... Taiia." Darkness closed around him and everything changed.
Princess Celestia looked at her student and said happily, "my dear student Twilight Sparkle I thank you for bringing back my sister Luna from her darkness and..." However, she was interrupted by an explosion of energy coming from above. She looked at her sister, Princess Luna, and quickly asked, "sister did you feel that?"
"Yes, I don't think we have time," Luna said rapidly.
"No, we don't," Celestia answered as they crossed their horns and created a small shield from both of their magic. It surrounded them and the six ponies close to them, colossal shockwaves pulsed from above and shook everything around them. Pieces of the castle fell upon the shield. Then, they were surrounded by a grand pillar of luminous blue flames, nearly ten miles tall, that incinerated everything around them. Luckily their protection just barely held. They looked around from inside the shield and realized they were at the edge of a massive crater and the blue fires still burned around them.
"Princess Celestia, what was that?" Twilight asked.
"I'm not quite sure but we must find out," she answered, "keep the elements ready we may need to use them." Twilight and her friends nodded as they shook, terrified of the possibilities. Celestia and Luna kept the shield up as they made their way to the power source at the center of the crater.
Alex awoke to a pounding in his skull. He kept his eyes closed and thought, no more alcohol for me. He felt the hard ground beneath him and understood that he was outside. "Great now I don't know where I..." he started to say before he realized that his voice was very different. Hell, he sounded like a woman. He took a breath and touched his crotch. She was no longer male.
She gulped and took another breath. She opened up her eyes and the first thing she saw was that she was in a massive crater with blue flames burning here and there. She looked down, and what she saw devastated her. She had a light tan color to her skin and this didn't completely bother her, but the fact that she had four arms told her one thing. Not only was she not Alex, but she also wasn't even human anymore. She screamed out loudly, "WHAT THE FUCK!!"
The ponies heard a booming feminine voice bellow out with bitter anguish, "WHAT THE FUCK!!" They decided to move more quickly. It took a little while but they found themselves at the center of the crater and what they found was astonishing. In the middle was a large female laying on the ground with her arms around her legs as she was crunched up like a ball.
She was not a pony as she had no fur nor hooves and they could tell that she was quite large. Not only that she had four arms. She bawled out and glowing tears drained from her closed eyes. Once the drops touched the ground they hissed and the ground melted slightly. They heard her mumbling to herself and got closer slowly. They felt a heat coming off of her and stopped. Celestia asked the sizeable female creature, "excuse me, but can you understand me?"
She opened her eyes and saw the bipedal multi-hued equines in front of her. She sat up slowly and realized just how big she was, for even sitting down she was eye-to-eye with these beings. She shivered at the thought that she wasn't even on earth anymore and wiped her eyes. "Y... yes... I can," she answered as more tears gradually made it down her face. She hugged her legs closer to her and looked just over her knees.
"Did you do all of this?" Celestia interrogated.
"I... I think I... yes... not on purpose... but yes... I'm sorry..." She said quietly.
"What are you?" Luna asked.
"I... I am... no I was human. Now I'm not... not sure," she answered with a sorrow-filled voice.
The mares were stunned by her answer. "Something changed you?!" Luna inquired, aghast at the thought.
The woman let out a quiet laugh filled with misery. "I... I guess," she responded uneasily.
"Who are you?" Twilight questioned.
"Al..." she started but she remembered the last thing she heard from the Bartender. "I'm Taiia," she acknowledged as more tears flooded from her eyes.
Two of the ponies, a pink one and a yellow pegasus left the shield and got closer to Taiia. "I'm Pinkie Pie and this is my friend Fluttershy," Pinkie declared as she pointed to the other one.
Fluttershy queried, "are you ok?"
Taiia simply shook her head no as more tears spilled out.
"Do you think... maybe you will be?" Pinkie asked.
Taiia just quietly answered, "I really don't know." Pinkie got even closer to her and did her best to give Taiia a hug and Fluttershy put her hand on Taiia's leg. She wiped the tears off once more and returned Pinkie's hug while she quietly stated, "thank you."
"What are you doing?" Celestia demanded.
"Princess, I know this is strange and a lot has happened, but look at her. She isn't dangerous," the purple unicorn said as she made her way to Taiia along with the white unicorn and the blue pegasus. Then, she told her, "I'm Twilight Sparkle and these are my friends Rarity and Rainbow Dash."
Rainbow just nodded but Rarity said, "charmed to meet you, darling." Taiia smiled a bit at this.
"Yeah, she's scared shitless but she aint lied, not even once," the orange pony said as she joined her friends. "I'm Applejack."
"I guess you're all right," the princess said to them. "I am Princess Celestia and this is my sister Princess Luna," Celestia said as she and Luna took down the shield and got a little closer to her. "I'm sorry but we must get back to Canterlot. There is a lot that needs to be done," Celestia said to Twilight, "I hope you can figure out what to do here my faithful student."
Taiia stretched her legs out a bit showing a little more of herself. The mares' eyes widened as they truly saw her.
"Oh my. Darling, you are simply gorgeous," Rarity declared.
Taiia's stomach grumbled loudly, and Applejack added, "I reckon she's hungry enough to eat a whole apple tree and still want more."
Taiia laughed quietly at that, as Pinkie pointed out, "also, she's naked."
"Oh," Fluttershy quietly said.
Taiia blushed deeply as she realized what Pinkie had said and that Pinkie had literally covered Taiia up with her body through most of this conversation. "I... I... oh fuck..." Taiia said as she quickly stood up and shook Pinkie around as she did. Although, the pink pony just laughed a lot and held on tighter. She rushed behind a large rock near enough to her and hid behind it.
Rainbow burst out laughing and rolled around on the ground while she held her sides and Applejack chuckled a bit.
Twilight stated to Taiia, "oh, come on out. It's going to be fine."
"No," Taiia said unwilling to move from the rock and the embarrassment strong in her voice.
"Come on, your probably pretty cold," Rainbow added.
"No," Taiia repeated.
"It'll be fine. We've all got the same parts." Applejack pointed out.
"Uh-ah," she declared firmly.
"Um... if it's not... um... too much we could all... um... get naked with you?" Fluttershy noted quietly.
"N... nope..." she uttered evasively.
"Darling, it's nothing we haven't seen before. I can make you something a little later, and it will be magnificent, but the longer this takes the longer you'll be unclothed. Now please come out darling. I mean we are all mares right?" Rarity observed.
"Not before I got here I wasn't," Taiia mentioned in a hushed voice. Then, she simply repeated, "No."
"What, was that before, darling?" Rarity quizzed.
Before Taiia could answer Pinkie pronounced loudly, "she said that she wasn't a she before but was a he and when he got here he was a she." Pinkie smiled brightly at the end of her sentence. Then, Fluttershy realized what she had just offered and passed out from embarrassment. Twilight caught her in her magic before she hit the ground and stared at where Taiia was and began to blush feverously. Once again Rainbow Dash was rolling on the ground laughing her ass off.
"Mah word," Applejack said before covering her newly forming blush up with her Stetson.
"Oh, dear," Rarity said once more shocked and embarrassed as well.
"Well, now that's out in the open," Taiia mumbled, "Pinkie Pie would you mind getting off of me, please? I need to at least find a way to cover myself up."
"You can just use me!" Pinkie declared.
The way she worded the sentence made Taiia's blush deepen, "Clothes Pinkie, clothes."
"Oh, I have something for you!" She offered.
"I hardly doubt that any..." Taiia started but was cut off by Pinkie pulling a large black sports bra and leggings out of her hair, "how did... h... you know what never mind... today's been way too strange already, not going to question it. Now can I get dressed Pinkie?" She said in confusion.
"Okey dokey lokey," Pinkie said as she hopped off of Taiia and handed her the clothes.
Pinkie just stood there staring with a huge grin. "Alone, Pinkie," Taiia added. Pinkie just laughed and bounced away. Taiia put the clothes on and found that they actually fit pretty well. She walked from behind the boulder and noticed they had revived Fluttershy and they were discussing something quietly.
"Pinkie, is that really what Taiia said," Twilight quizzed.
"Pretty much," she answered.
"Are you sure, Darling?" Rarity put forth.
"Well, what she actually said was, not before I got here I wasn't, but what I said was almost the same," Pinkie added.
"Oh, how can somepony do that to anypony else?" Fluttershy questioned.
"I don't know maybe Taiia wanted to be a mare in the first place?" Rainbow petitioned.
"Did yah see those tears RD? Ah really don't think so," Applejack pointed out.
"So, what's... what's going on?" They heard Taiia say from behind them.
The mares nearly jumped out of their skins as they turned to look up at Taiia and realized that she stood nearly twice the height of Princess Celestia. Rarity simply said with a light cough, "oh, nothing much. Just thinking about where you were going to live, darling. Not to offend you but you are fairly tall and couldn't fit in most of the housing around here."
"Taiia here can stay with us at the apple farm," Applejack quickly responded, "'sides, ya'll be a good help around the orchard. We need ta get movin' though. We all had one hell of a day and I know yer hungry and I'm pretty hungry myself. I reckon they are too. The faster we get back the faster we'll eat."
Taiia smiled and hugged the country mare. "Thank you Applejack," she said to her.
Applejack hugged her back and simply said, "no problem, I'll always be there tah help out a friend."
