*Meanwhile with Kanami and two of the Danyelles*

*Redux Danyelle's POV*

I was pacing back and forth since the recent vision I had gotten scared me.

Danyelle spoke "Well, the portal that appeared was… something."

I spoke "Yeah but there was something off about those ribbons..."

Kanami asks "Huh…? *As crew members murmured* Karei-senpai…? Seiko-san… Ms. Ochimizu? H-Huh…?"

Ido showed up. “What’s wrong, Kanami-chan? You seem flustered. *Noticed something* Hm? Where’s Ms. Ochimizu? Oh dear… And she said she would look after Kanami-chan while I was taking a call."

Kanami spoke "I-Ido-san! This is terrible…! I mean, this is really bad!"

Ido asks "What do you mean? *After Kanami explained* Ribbons…? That’s what took Ms. Ochimizu, Karei-chan, and the others?"

Kanami asks "I-I’m telling the truth! It really happened! Didn’t it!?"

The memory mirror users nodded, still taken aback by what happened a few seconds ago.

Ido spoke "*Smile* I’m gonna have Kanami-chan take a break, if that’s alright. *Calls on his compact* …Odd, Ms. Ochimizu isn’t picking up."

Kanami spoke "It really happened! I mean, I saw with my own eyes…!"

Ido spoke "I know, I know. I’ll manage somehow, so don’t worry too much about it, Kanami-chan. I just needed to confirm the code on the documents. Ms. Ochimizu set it, and it’s four digits, so I have an idea what it might be."

Kanami spoke "I-Ido-san…!"

Ido spoke "This is tricky, though… We already can’t reach the Kanamin Kitchen girls, and now add Ms. Ochimizu to the list… *Dismay* This is just gonna end up adding more fuel to that rumor."

Rising Sun pops up suddenly but her devout beads were missing.

Rising spoke "One of my sacred treasures is missing though."

Ido spoke "Princess Rising, please remain calm."

Kanami asks "What rumor…?"

Ido spoke "Oh, you haven’t heard? There’s a rumor going around about the LMB website. Haha, it’s absurd, but supposedly, if you visit the LMB website at midnight, it plays a cursed video. They say creatures who watch it get taken away to the “other side” and never wake up again."

Kanami spoke "A cursed video…"

Ido spoke "It’s been good for the website’s hits, and interest is certainly up as a result. But considering the details of the rumor, it’s hard to be too happy about that."

Kanami asks "Other side…?"

Kanami zoned out as Ido noticed that.

Ido spoke "You seem a bit drained, Kanami-chan. You’re free to take the rest of the day off."

Kanami asks "Huh?"

Ido spoke "Things could get complicated in light of these events, so leave things to me. I’ll adjust your schedule and contact you with the changes later, so if you’re not feeling well, try to rest up for now."

Danyelle spoke "Uh Ido, you forgot... Rising Sun is far above the rank of princess, she's a goddess."

Rising Sun spoke "Danyelle, it’s okay. Ido’s called me that before, and I’m like a counterpart of Celestia after all."

Danyelle spoke "That may be so but your power level is a lot higher than Celestia's power level is."

Kanami spoke "B-But I have a magazine interview after this…"

Ido spoke "We’ll have to cancel it. We don’t have the whole group together, after all."

Kanami spoke "But Ido-san…! We gotta look for Ms. Ochimizu and the others!"

Ido spoke "…Kanami-chan."

Kanami spoke "Hrgh… O-Okay. I understand."

Ido spoke "I'll check in with you later, so make sure to get some rest."

Danyelle spoke "My counterpart and I will stay with Kanami to make sure nothing grabs her."

Kanami spoke "Excuse me…"

Kanami walked away.

I turned invisible before following Kanami.

Kanami went into a dressing room as I followed her in.

Kanami sighs "I’m positive Ido-san doesn’t believe me. What happened a minute ago…? I hope Ms. Ochimizu and the others are okay… what should I do? What…? What am I supposed to do!? The police…? No use, they’ll never believe me! The agency? Wait, that’s Ido-san, so that’s no good! Oh, the PR team! Yeah… no. They’d just end up hating me! *Sigh* Seriously, what do I do…? I guess I should change for now… I just HAVE to think about it on the way home!"

Kanami went behind the curtains.

Kanami spoke "Oh, this costume’s so tight in the chest and udders… *Gasp!* Have I gained weight? Nah, no way! *Grunt!* I can’t zip myself up the back anymore either. Hnnnngh… *Grunt, squeaking* Even the… buttons seem like they’re gonna… pop off… Mmph… Bleaaaaah… It’s finally off…"

Kanami came out, wearing glasses and looking like a totally different bovine.

Kanami spoke "Mmmm! Plain clothes are plain great! Hehehehe!"

I let out a faint sneeze but it wasn't loud enough to be heard, causing a barrier to go up around the dressing room.

An Assistant Director shouts "Dammit... Where'd he go!?

A Memory Mirror User spoke "The cops! Call the police! This is not good at all, we gotta hurry and find him!"

What?

Kanami asks "Hrm...? The police? Are they shooting a movie...?"

But then I heard a *Ping!*

I pounced on a lanky stallion, pinning him down thus stopping him from getting near Kanami.

I growl "Who are you and WHAT are you doing here?"

The Suspsicious Stallion asks "Where's Kanamin!?"

"Why are you asking that?" I growled again.

The Suspicious Stallion spoke "I need Kanami's blood to lift the curse! I accidentally saw that video! Without her blood, I'll be taken...!"

Okay, this guy's crazy.

I shot off a yowl, alerting the police and managers to come to where I was while I tied the crazy stallion up with rope.

A stallion spoke "Sigh* And here Tenshi and I were here on my vacation days to see Seiko."

A familiar stallion showed up, revealed to be Kojiro.

Dropping the invisibility spell, I spoke "This bozo tried to attack the cow but I stopped him before he could."

Ido then showed up. "Kanami-chan! Are you okay!? Kojima-san!?"

I explained everything to Ido about what almost happened.

Ido asks "I'm sorry. I'll go with them to help keep an eye on him. I'll be back soon, but can I ask you and Kojiro to look after her in the meantime?"

I spoke "Of course sir. If I wasn't here, it would have been a lot worse."

Kojima spoke "Sure. I wouldn't know my way around here anyway, so go do your thing."

Ido spoke "Thank you for your help."

I spoke "No problem sir, I'm glad to help."

Ido spoke "Kanami-chan, I'll take you home later, so stay here. Don't worry about the stallion, he's Seiko-kun's uncle."

Kanami spoke "He is? Oh, okay...!"

Ido left.

I spoke in a hushed tone "Kanami was it? I don't think it's a good idea for you to leave the studio."

Kojiro spoke "Calm down. The city's no less dangerous than it always was, but... I didn't think I'd stumble across a disturbance this fast."

Kanami asks "Oh, no, it's partly my fault for being absent-minded all the time. I'm gonna get it from Ido-san again... Wait a sec, you're Seiko-san's uncle!?"

Kojiro spoke "Yeah, I'm Tegowai Kojiro, *As Tenshi showed up* and this is my daughter, Tenshi. You are...?"

I spoke "I'm not the Danyelle that you know."

Kanami spoke "Golly... Seiko-san's uncle sure is tough... Oh! I'm Kanami Mashita, heheh. Pleased to meet you!"

Kojiro spoke "Mashita? I've heard that name somewhere... Come on, Tenshi. Say hello."

Tenshi asks "...I'm Tenshi Kojiro. Are you Kanamin...?"

Kanami spoke Wow, you're so cute, Tenshi-chan! Wait, huh!? Yes, that's right! You know who Kanamin is!"

Tenshi spoke It really is Kanamin! Dad, it's Kanamin!"

We got a fanfilly.

Kojiro asks "Kanamin...? Hmm, I do remember an event at the Ineighba Police Stations with some honorary Chief that got canceled. Then does that mean you're a celebrity or somesuch?"

Kanami asks Yep! Even if I don't look like it, I'm an idol! Hm, but why was the Police Station event canceled...? Sorry, I can't remember now... But so you're from Ineighba, Kojiro-san?"

Tenshi spoke "My dad's a police detective."

Kanami spoke "Whoa!? A police officer!? No wonder he looked so strong...! Oh! He's Seiko-san's uncle AND a detective? He might actually listen to me...!"

Kojiro spoke "There's no need to be all nervous. Just do what you want until that Ido pony gets back."

Kanami spoke "Ah, yes! Thank you!"

I spoke "Kojiro was it? You probably don't know me since I'm from a different universe but I'm Danyelle Hikari. I was assigned as a temporary bodyguard for Miss Mashita for a while until my OC-verse counterpart and a few others from the Alicorn Alliance solve the mystery behind those weird ribbons."

Kanami asks "H-H-How did you know I was gonna tell him about that stuff?"

I spoke "Much like my OC-verse counterpart, I can see past and future events."

Kanami spoke "W-Wait! I-I don’t know if what happened earlier was related or not, but Sumomin and the others are missing, too!"

Kojiro asks "Sumomin…?"

Kanami spoke "Um, she’s in my group! We lost contact with all four of them yesterday, and…"

Kojiro spoke "I’m not doubting what you want to tell me, but the details are a little…"

Kanami spoke "I know, I know! But still…!"

Kojiro spoke "Under normal circumstances, I’d tell you to go to the local police, but I can tell that’s not easy for someone so high-profile. Anyway, the police won’t take any serious action just because someone’s been missing for a day or two. Then again, I haven’t been able to reach my nephew… it also concerns me that Seiko hasn’t contacted me at all, when he knew we’d arrive today. Hm…"

Kanami spoke "Hrrrgh…"

Tenshi asks "Dad, you’re not going to help Kanamin?"

Kojiro spoke "*Sigh* Looks like there’s a lot in this world that I just don’t understand."

I soon got a telepathic message from OC-verse Danyelle, saying Tamami that was found. Then a telepathic message from OC-verse Twilight stating Sumomo was also found had followed after the first message.

I spoke "Good news Kojiro sir, Tamami and Sumomo have been found and rescued."

Kojiro asks "Well, that’s good and all, but are there any leads?"

Kanami asks "…Huh?"

Kojiro spoke "I’m asking if there are any leads I can work off to investigate this. I can’t help if we have nothing to go on."

He’s got a point there.

Kanami spoke "Oh! You mean clues, right!? Umm… Oh… The cursed video…! A cursed video plays at midnight on the Love Meets Bonds Festival website! They say if you watch it, you’ll never wake up again!"

“Isn’t that what that suspicious stallion was ranting about?” I noticed.

Kanami spoke "Yeah. He said he was afraid of getting killed by a dead idol!"

Kojiro spoke "How in the world would a dead creature kill anyone…? *As I shrugged* Well, anyway. I’ll look around here and see what I can turn up… at least until I hear from Seiko. But if they really have gone missing, I’ll file a report with the police. And I’m sorry, but if it comes to that, we’ll need to take your statements."

Kanami spoke "Of course! I’ll do anything to help out! Well then, uhh…"

Kanami reached for her pocketbook, smart choice if you’re scatterbrained. But then it looked like she remembered something.

Kanami spoke "That’s right! I’m free in the morning tomorrow, so I just have to help look into this!"

Tenshi spoke "Then I’ll just have to help look too!"

The two high-hoofed as I giggled.

Kojiro spoke "Sheesh, They’re treating this like some kid’s game… Anyway… that colt better not be sticking his head into any nasty business again…"

I pick up the ribbon I had sliced off in the attack, triggering a vision of the past. Kojiro saw the same thing I had seen.

I noticed an Abyssinian she-cat idol in my vision.

I ask "You seeing what I'm seeing Kojiro?"

Kojiro asks "What in the…?"

But then I started seeing yellow ribbons before it all became static, sending us back to reality.

I spoke "Great StarClan, I only got half a vision!"

Kojiro spoke "Well, half is still something."

He had a good point. Well, after we said goodbye to Kojiro and Tenshi, Ido rode Kanami home as I accompanied her, we did some quick shopping at a store nearby and returned to her home.

Kanami spoke "I'm baaaaaaaack! Although there's no one to greet here. Heheh, it'd actually be a big problem if there WAS someone else here..."

I ask "Do you live alone?"

Kanami sighs "Kinda, yeah. Ooh, my pea sprout friends are growing nicely. I bet they'll be ready to harvest again soon. I watered the good ol' daikon radishes just yesterday, so they're still good to go... *Sits on futon chair* Uuuuuuugh... I'm pooped. Too much going on lately... But I got Kojiro-san's number, and I've reviewed my schedule for tomorrow, sooo... Yep, I'm all set. Sumomin... Tamamin, Tomomin... Nozomin... I wonder if they're all okay. I wish I'd gotten to know you all better... Where did you go...?"

I spoke "According to the messages I got from OC-verse Danyelle and OC-verse Twilight, Sumomo and Tamami have been found. They're both with Ochimizu as I speak. That still leaves the other two."

Kanami spoke "Still... Nope, nope! I've got no time to be bummed out about this!"

I couldn't help but smile at that.

I spoke "I've yet to get messages about the other two."

Kanami spoke "Let's see what's up onmirror. *Turns on three-way mirror* Hrm... Let's try "video," "idol," and I guess "curse too...? Holy moly...! It's got this many hits!? Daaamn... Huh? Wait a minute... I knew it... A bunch of these are specifically about the festival. Ngh...! *Holds head in pain* My poor head's hurting... Maybe I caught a cold... Ugh, I'm so tired now that I'm back home. *Yawn!*"

Kanami took a nap as she later woke up.

Kanami yawns "Hrgh, w-was I asleep? Sorry, Ms. Ochimizu... Umm..."

Music was playing on the mirror.

Kanami asks "This is the LMB website... Did I open this...?"

It was close to midnight as we kept looking, only to see nothing odd.

Kanami spoke "Gets up* ...Nah. There's no way! *Starts taking clothes off* I just have to take a bath and go to bed! *Turns off lights before heading into her bathroom and starts showering and singing* ~Gotta wake up super early. So I just have to get my beauty sleep. What do I do tomorrow? Maybe I have to take all the garbage out. Ginger was on sale today~"

I noticed it was midnight as Kanami kept singing. I didn't need to look at the mirror to know that the video was playing. I didn't look at it at all since I couldn't risk the danger.

I kept a vigil all night long to make sure nothing bad happened.
