Law of Multiverseby RetardedSandwhichChapters"There goes $90"Blank...Wheel Barrel DisguiseCutie Mark...what's that?Oh the ironyThat's the princess?Enemy spottedSilhouette.Peace into FearDeep Thought. An ExplanationFun can't last foreverMoonlight messageThe Question"There goes $90""1...2...3...1.2.3.4!" I hit the distortion pedal with my foot. "Looooooooooord I can't change" I was strumming to the rhythm pattern to the song "Free Bird" by Lynyrd Skynyrd. I'm using my Gibson Les Paul Custom that I spent 5 long, hard, sweaty years working for. "So won't you flyyyyyy high, Freeeeeeeeeeeee birrrrrrrrd yeah!" I struck the first 4 notes in the correct order, accompanied by bends. My guitar whaled as the windows shook. My small Vox amplifier had been shaking to the beat of the song. I was playing a long with the solo, which I spent a few years learning. I could feel the carpal tunnel arise at certain parts of the solo where very fast notes were played. "DLULULULUL*chink*DULULULULL*clank*DLULULULULULUL" was the sound I had been producing during complicated moments. After 4 minutes of my hands going through hell and back, I finally finished, sweat building up on my temple. I lowered my guitar back onto its stand and turned off my amplifier...until it made a ear-ringing bang sound as smoke began to shoot up from the back of the small powered amplifier. "WHAT THE HELL?!?!" I exclaimed as I quickly threw myself at the wall and unplugged the amplifier to prevent it from catching on fire. "God dammit, there goes $90". I had enough money to purchase a new amplifier known as the "Vox AC30". They ran about $400-$500. I was the type of person who really needed a good reason to procrastinate in buying such things. I had a good reason now, my current amp was broken. Even though at any given time I could have went out and bought the AC30, I was basically looking for something more of a higher priority to come along, such as an auto repair or a replacement part to any product. Now that I have no reason to procrastinate further, I picked up my Les Paul again, slung the guitar-strap on me and shifted the guitar to my back. Its gold colored hardware glared in the sunlight. I needed to bring it into the guitar shop , so I can test it out on the amp first to see if I like the tone or not before buying. I walked out of my room, walked down the hall into the medium sized living room with white painted walls and a few paintings, and went into the kitchen. My parents were both at work at the time, and I happen to be on winter vacation away from college, visiting them. I had the whole house to myself all day. I grabbed my car keys from the counter and my wallet. $500 in total that I have saved up for from my weekend job at the computer repair store where I studied at. I walked out of the kitchen and back across the living room and out the front door. Since my parents had their car parked in the garage, I had mine out on the street. I owned somewhat dusty/dented, 1973 Porsche 911 in a black shade that I bought off of a friend for $5,000. I walked over to my car, unlocked the door, swung my guitar around to my chest and removed it and placed it in the seat next to me and I sat down. I closed the door, put the keys in the ignition and started her up. At first it cranked a few times as the engine wasn't exactly "in great condition", but eventually it started up. I hit the clutch, shifted into 1st gear and headed off. My parents live in a desert town 3 hours away from Los Angeles. Victorville was 50 minutes away, complete with a music shop that I know of where they sell the amplifier I was looking for. I was heading down the freeway going 85 mph, Van Halen blasting in the background. It was 6:00 PM and the sun was moments away from vanishing out of the night sky. I was traveling along, when suddenly a flash of green light occurred, accompanied by a loud, electric shock noise. "OH SHIT" I yelled as the sudden event made me loose control of my vehicle. "FUCKFUCKFUCKFUCK" I said as I tried to regain control of my vehicle, I over corrected. I felt my small Porsche balance itself on two wheels, then began to roll over at 85mph. Objects and empty soda cans were flying left and right as I was rolling in circles. I hit my head on the steering wheel as broken glass and metal shards wiped around me, I passed out. After a few hours, I began to slowly regain consciousness. My vision went from black to a blurred, blue, image. My vision began to clear up just enough that I can tell my whereabouts. I regained full view. I laid there, with my mind racing faster than a Bugatti Veryon. When I began to get a hold of my thoughts, I noticed something strange about the sky. It was a solid shade of light blue. No hues, no gradients, just solid. I moved my eyes upward to see a big, green hill with a black outline around it. Once again, solid green. Like if it was out of a cartoon. I tried to muster up strength to get up. It took me a few attempts to sit-up. I felt a warm liquid running down my arm, but paid no attention to it. I slowly looked to my left to see my Les Paul, laying on the brown ground, which I assumed was dirt. To my eyes, I could not believe it. It was a solid color of a blackish grey, complete outline surrounding it, all strings attached. It looked exactly from a cartoon. I looked the other way to my right to see a small puddle of reflecting water. I slowly moved my limbs one by one over to the puddle. Once I finally reached the puddle and looked into it, I could not comprehend what I'm looking at. "What the..." were the only words I managed to make out. I looked at myself in the reflection. I looked straight out of a cartoon. My skin is a solid shade of its natural color (I'm Caucasian). My eyes were still the same normal size, My long, shoulder length hair swayed with every move I made, having it being a solid color of dark brown. I could see all my cuts and wounds from the accident. I quickly looked up, the remains of my car were no where to be found. I simply could not process all of this, and quickly fainted. Right before my vision and hearing faded, I heard words from what I would assume would be a delicate female. After that, I lost consciousness. Blank...Authors note: I'm aware that the logic is backwards on this one with the comparison of a human and a pony in size, I just sorta felt that having the pony taller didn't make the character seem like an angry giant crushing everything in sight Blank.... nothing but....nothing...until it all came back slowly. A bright white light flashed up before me, and slowly faded into what appears to be a ceiling and a yellow blob. My body began to ache as I felt the effects of the previous event. The yellow blob began to take a circular shape as my vision cleared up, two white ovals on the shape began to appear, with a green blur in each. "Hu....uh...my...h.head" I managed to scramble out. I heard a high pitched "EEEP" and the yellow object moved suddenly. My vision then cleared up, to only find that I'm face to face with a strange creature. Fear suddenly shot through my body as I felt that I was lying on some type of comforter. I just laid there, starring blankly at what appeared to be...a horse. No, not a horse, a bit smaller. It was towering over me with a frightened expression. I felt my left eye twitch as I mustered out these words: "Wha...what...are..you". I lifted my finger to point at it when I noticed my arm wrapped in bandages. "You...you speak our language?" the horse creature said. "I can understand what you're saying so far...so I...I can only assume" "Wh...what are you?" the creature said while slowly backing away into a corner. I slowly sat up. "A better question is...what are you?" "I'm a...I'm a" it stuttered out "Are you a horse or something?" I said with a freaked out look. "I'm...a...mare" said the creature. "Uh, isn't that a type of....haywaitaminute" I said as the gears in my head were working. "You're...a....pony?" The creature nodded yes while still shivering. "How did you...." I looked down to see my jacket somewhat torn and a hole in my jeans. "How did you find me?" I asked. "You...w..were down by the trail...I saw you and you weren't..m..moving but still breathing. So I t-t-ook you in." "Uh alright, now uh could you be a so kind as to tell me who you are and where am I?!?!" I could a sworn I was tripping out. "My...n..name is F-f-flutter..s.s.hy, and you're i-in Equest..ria". "Equestria? What the he-OH GOD WHAT THE HELL" I said. I knew perfectly where I was. It sucks having to spend the summer at parent's house and forced to watch cartoons with younger siblings/cousins. I took a deep breath and sighed. "Okay, I might know my whereabouts, your name is...Fluttershy I presume? The creature nodded yes. I looked around the decorated room. "Uh, you wouldn't have happened to pick up a black guitar?" I asked. Now with the creature feeling more comfortable, she nodded and trotted over to what appeared to be a couch and held my Les Paul with her front...uh...hooves and used her-wait what? Wings? That must mean she's a...Pegasus? She brought the guitar over to me. Not a scratch was on it, thank god. I put the body of the guitar over my knee and dug into my pocket to pull out a worn pick, I then strummed a simple G chord. The chord rang out clearly, cleanly...with no amplifier required. "Uh...whoa" I said. The Pegasus went up to me for a closer look, I moved back a bit as....Fluttershy...I think...was invading my personal space. "You don't have any hair but for your mane" she said. "Uh yeah, you see, I'm...a...uh, what you'd call a human." I answered back. "A human? What's that?" "Uh, organisms...that walk on two legs and have these things called thumbs to grip stuff..." I said as I was gesturing my hands to show the ability of the thumbs and fingers. I slowly stood up. The pony was a tad taller than me, and last time I checked, I stood at 5'11, an inch away from 6'. "Uh...you wouldn't have happened to know...how...I...even..uh" I said as I looked through the window behind me. "I...I don't know. But I have a friend that m-might know". Replied Fluttershy. I'm pretty sure it was that annoying purple pony that I remember watching. Fluttershy trotted out into the...living room, I presume and out a strange door leading to the outside. I had my amp-less guitar and a very...VERY bad feeling. Might as well preoccupy myself and figure out how how I can change the tone on my guitar. Wheel Barrel Disguise"Huh" I said. "So I guess the tone knob changes the gain level". That means when you turn the knob, it makes the sound louder and more of a distortion/over-driven tone, like you hear in most rock songs. I formed another chord shape with my fingers and strummed down on the bottom two strings, making a basic blues rift that you hear in a lot of Chuck Berry songs. I looked up from the neck of the guitar and gazed at my surroundings. A Flower decorated wall, a green rug, a book case filled with books, all in a cartoon appearance. I looked out the window behind me and saw a few chicken coops with a dead forest in the background. It's been about an hour or so since the pony left. I heard a clopping sound coming up from outside, she must have returned with her "friend". I laid my guitar next to me on the sofa that I had been resting on. I simply laid back and awaited the arrival of the two ponies (that is, IF her friend is a pony). I heard the front door open. The yellow Pegasus pony walked in with the purple pony I guessed about. I was right this time. They then turned to face me and trotted towards me. The purple pony's eyes widened and her jaw dropped. She quickly trotted toward me. I was face to face with another pony...with a horn? That must make her a unicorn. The pony said not one thing as she carefully inspected me. My eyes followed her every move. She finally stopped the inspection and sat down right in front of me. "Hello?" the purple pony asked. "Uh, hi?" I said as I titled my head to the left a bit. The pony looked at me astonished. "You speak Equestrian?" she added in. "Um, I speak something similar I guess" I said. "I have never seen a creature quite like you before, how did you get here?" "That's a question I'm trying to find out myself" I replied. "I see, and tell me, what is your name?" the pony said. "Uh, my name is Ray" I said. "Well then, my name is Twilight Sparkle, pleasure to meet you...uh...Ray?" she said with confidence. "Yeah, er, nice to meet you too I guess" I replied kinda nervously. "You wouldn't happen to know the reason why I somehow ended up here in the first place? I asked. "It depends, what were you doing in the first place?" Twlight replied. "I was driving down the desert road going 85 at sunset, then suddenly a flash of green light appeared and I spun out of control" I said. "Driving? You were driving a carriage going that fast?" asked Twilight suspiciously. "Carriage? What? No, I was in my Porsche wh-" I was cut off. "Porsche? What's a Porsche?" asked Twilight. "Oh, uh it's a car. A car is...think of it as a horseless carriage, it's powered by a motor that uses gasoline as energy" I replied. "Hmm, a horseless carriage? I never heard of that one. As for the strange phenomenon that occurred, I'm not sure how I can explain that. But tomorrow, I'll send a letter to the Princess inquiring on what happened." Twilight said. "Princess? Uh, don't you mean a Queen or something?" I said. "No, our wonderful leader is nam-" she stopped talking and noticed my guitar. "What's that?" she asked as she pointed her hoof at the Les Paul. "Uh, that's my Guitar....do you people-er ponies know what a guitar is?" I asked. "Yes, but I am not one for music that inquires guitars, just I haven't seen a shape like that before" she said. "But we can figure out your misplacement in this, uh, world later. Your clothes seemed all ripped. You look like you've been through quite a ride". she said curiously. "Tell me about it" I said as I rolled my eyes. "Well, I have a friend who specializes in clothing, maybe she can mend your clothes" she added in. I don't like the idea of other creatures...er ponies knowing of my presents. "Uh, I don't that would be a good idea. I'm pretty sure I'd stir up some mob with pitch forks wanting to burn me or something" I said to Twilight. "I'm pretty sure they wont go THAT far, but I have an old pony dress-up costume you could use to make the trip if you don't want to bee seen by others" she replied. "A...pony costume?" I said. "Okay, why not" I said with some annoyance. I'm stuck here, my ride is ruined, I'm in an alternate dimension, my grades are going to go down the shitter if I'm not back in time for semester finals after winter break. Might as well. "I um, think you might have, um left it here last time. I'll go upstairs and check" said Fluttershy. Fluttershy then left the room and proceeded up the stairs. After a few minutes she came back down with an old, worn out costume that had multiple patches on it. It was much too big for me. "Hey Fluttershy, I don't think that would fit" said Twilight. "Say, you know your wheel barrels that you transport your animal food in? We could hide, um..." "Him" I said "Him in one of those" finished Twilight. Fluttershy nodded and went back up stairs to return the costume, then headed back down and outside the, cottage I presume and came back with a giant barrel on a 2 wheeled carriage. "That would do JUST perfectly" said Twilight. "Am I suppose to get into that? I don't even think I know where tha-" I get cut off as I feel a force wrap around me. It picked me up and threw me face first into the barrel. "GAAAH!" I let out in agony as I face planted into the floor of the barrel. The lid above me closed. "Alright, let's go to Rarity's!" I'm assuming Twilight said. I had to readjust my position so my spine wouldn't be more malformed than it already is. I felt a few bumps and could tell I was on the outside, getting transported in a wheel barrel. What fun. Cutie Mark...what's that?*Bump* I could feel the barrel fly up and come back down, due to all the rocks and slight bumps, I could tell we're on a dirt path. I'm still not fully caught up in what the hell just happened. One minute I'm heading off to the guitar shop and the next minute, I'm in a cartoon with a franchised that is based for little girls...and older men, as I have heard. I'm really screwed tighter than a bolt right about now. The only thing I can hear is muffled chattering between the two ponies. I was too deep in thought to pay attention. My ride is wrecked, how am I suppose to get back to college?!?! Semester finals will be coming up shortly after the break, all the money I took out on student loans...to only fail everything. I truly hoped time has stopped or I would be teleported right back to where I was, on the road. I reached into my pocket to pull out my phone, it was at half charge and since I had an Android OS (I hate Apple products with a passion), the battery would drain in no time if I were to listen to music. I was a long for the ride I guess. I just sat there, in a giant barrel being dragged a long to a place where I can get my clothes mended. After a while, I'm assuming I finally hit pavement. That probably means I'm in a town of some sort. But if I only knew...wait. My Little Pony. All of those commercials years ago advertising their play-sets....They've always mentioned they were apart of... Ponyville. Oh gee, I wouldn't have guessed. After what seemed like an eternity, I felt my barrel finally stop. Then I could feel some magical force surround it, lift it up, and levitate me forward. I'm guessing I arrived in the shop the two ponies were speaking about. I could hear chatter, then I tried my best to listen to the muffled words: "Hey, we're here. Ray...right? You can come out now" I'm assuming that was Twilight speaking. I honestly didn't want to, not knowing how a different pony would react to a non-native creature like me. "Uh, I don't really want to" I said. "You really want to challenge me?" said Twilight. "Uh, I highly doubt you can pick me up out of this barrel and-" I felt a magical force around me again. Then within the blink of an eye, I was thrown out of the barrel and onto a marble floor. "Hey hey, what gives-" I locked eyes with a white pony in front of me, who was starring at me with a terrified expression. "W..W....WHAT IS THAT!" the white pony said, she spoke in some type of English accent. The pony was on top a chair as if she's been surrounded by mice. She was just starring at me, extremely frightened. "Uh...hi?" I said. The white pony let out a high pitched eek sound. "IT SPEAKS OUR LANGUAGE?" she yelled. "Uh Rarity, this is our friend...Ray" Twilight said in a somewhat comforting voice to the white pony. "B...B..B..BUT IT HAS NO FUR BUT FOR WHAT IS ON ITS HEAD" she shrieked out. "Rarity, he's not exactly...a pony, he doesn't mean any harm. Now just please Rarity, try to calm down" Twilight said. "A...All right" the white pony said while she slowly stopped shaking and came down from the chair, still locking eyes with me. The white pony took a deep breath and sighed and cleared her throat. "Well then, I am Rarity...pleasure...to...meet you?" she said. "Uh, hello I guess...I'm...Ray" I said while still freaked out. "S...Sorry for the introduction, just I have...never seen a creature such as you before, but I do noticed that your clothes seemed to be torn up, may I have a closer look"? Rarity said. "Uh...sure" I said, standing up from the floor. Since my jacket was the most part that was ripped and not my shirt, I took it off and gave it to her to look at. She noticed my shirt as I gave her my jacket, that she picked up with her unicorn magic? "What are those...things walking across the road?" she asked. "Oh, these guys? They're called The Beatles, and they're walking across a street known as Abbey Road" I responded. "But they don't look like beetles" Rarity said. "They're not actually beetles, they're humans like me who happen to make pretty awesome music." "Humans? What?" Rarity said in confusion. Aw hell, a brief description later.... "Oh, so you guys walk on two...legs? What about your cutie marks? What do you do in your every lives" Rarity said. Twilight and Fluttershy chimed in on this on too. "Yea, what about your cutie mark? Do you have one?" Twilight asked. "Cutie mark...." I questioned. That name sounded over girly. "What's a cutie mark?" I asked. All three of ponies gasped. "You mean you don't have one? It's the picture on your flank that makes you, you darling. It's your special talent in life." Rarity answered. "Oh, I don't have one." "W-W-WHAT?" Rarity said astonished. "THEN WHAT IS YOUR SPECIAL TALENT?" she over-dramatically said. "Um, we humans can have any special talent we choose. If we want to specialize about learning a certain subject, we go to school and learn about the subject to master it, then we just simply find a job for someone who needs people like us to do that task." "Uh huh, I see, then what do you do?" added in Twilight who seemed interested. "Uh, I like to play instruments and work on computers" I replied. "A computer, what's that? If you don't mind telling us...that is" quietly said Fluttershy. This wasn't easy to explain. "Think of it as an object that can calculate data and run tasks, like..." I tried my best to explain to them what a computer is, what an operating system is, and what applications are and such. It was another 5 minute conversation. I finished telling them what it is and it seemed to satisfy them. After various measurements, Rarity went off to work mending my jacket, and stitching together new clothes for me. I sat on a couch in the lobby of her...err...boutique? I think. I was just waiting while the other two ponies talk amongst each other. Then my stomach started to grumble. Twilight took notice. I haven't eaten since this morning...on earth. "You seem hungry" said Twilight. "We have a on the outside of town who can bake a pretty delicious apple pie." "Well I guess I could eat something, I'm not sure if it's edible for my or not...but I really don't care" I said. I was starving, I could eat just about anything right now. Without a word, Twilight gestured her hoof toward the barrel from previously. I let out a sad moan and knew the drill. I climbed into the barrel, sealed the lid over me, and I could feel the barrel being levitated over a cart and being pushed off. I really hate barrel travel. Oh the ironyDem new years. .....Hey....you....*snore*.....out there....beyond....the wall....*snore*....breaking bottles on....the...wall...*snor- *CRASH* I slowly woke up from my nap in the barrel...to only find myself face first into a giant tree with pain all over my body. "Ooh....my aching hea-" Suddenly I felt something hit me on the head. "Ow!" I said as that object attributed to the pain. Now that my vision has refocused, I picked up the object and made out that it was an apple. While laying against a tree, I notice broken wood planks all surrounding me, and the sound of trotting ponies coming at me. "H-Hey Ray! Are you okay!" said Twilight as she came running over toward me, out of breath. Fluttershy trailed above her flying. "Heh...I sorta lost control of the barrel." said Twilight. "Yeah....I can somewhat infer that...ow.." I managed to groan out. "Well um, we're here." said Fluttershy. I looked around and saw nothing but a giant orchard of apple trees. The sun was setting its distance in the sky. Up ahead on the dirt paved road was a giant red barn house. "Uh, is that a barn house or something?" I asked. "It's Sweet Apple Acres, our friend lives there and will be glad to provide dinner." said Twilight. "Come on, let's go!" she added in shortly afterwards. So I followed the purple pony and the flying Pegasus pony over to a giant red barn house. We were nearing the entrance, I'm assuming, when an orange pony with some cowboy hat trotted over to us. "HOWDY YA'LL, YA'LL FETCHING SOMETHING TO EA-" the orange pony said before stopping dead sentence. Her pupils shrunk and starred right at me. "W..w..what in the hay is that?" she said while still starring right at me. I was starring back, with my hands in my pockets, not phased. "Here Applejack, let me explain" said Twilight after letting out a sigh. Huh, her name's Applejack. That would explain the orchard of apple trees. So after a brief explanation, the orange pony stopped shivering and slowly trotted over to me. She came face to face with me. She eyed me very closely with a suspicious look. "Ah'm...Applejack" she said as if I were doing something very suspicious. "And uh, I'm Ray..." I said somewhat nervously, thinking this pony was about to trample me over or something of the sort. "Here, ya'll follow me." AJ said. So the other two ponies followed her, and I kept my distance while still following. She led us over to a few benches. I sat down parallel to AJ, whom was still keeping a close eye on me. "If ya'll would excuse me, Ah'mma go grab supper" said AJ. She got up from her seat and trotted over to the main house of the barn and came back with a tray filled with pie and apple juice. She placed the tray in front of us, passed out the drinks to the other two ponies and me, sat back down, and began to eat. Even though I'm probably not able to digest the food in this world, I couldn't turn down apple juice. I just sat there, trying not to make eye contact with anything or anyone. "Why aren't ya'll eating your pie?" AJ asked me. "...uh, what's inside of it?" I quietly said. "Apples" she said. "Oh...well then" I said looking down at my slice, I slowly picked up the slice, and brought it slowly to my mouth, starting to get really nervous as the pony just sat there, eye'd me, waiting for me to make a wrong move of some sort. I slowly began to eat the pie while starring back at AJ. It was actually pretty good, and if I weren't put into an awkward position like this, I'd act as a human vacuum and cram it all in at once. But I slowly finished off my slice, as it was quite big and it hit the spot. AJ then backed off a bit, but still looking at me. "So," AJ said while taking a swing of her juice. "What do ya'll do?" "I uh...I play....guitar" I said, feared for my life that I might offend the pony and have a rampage bestowed upon me. "Mmhm, what songs do ya'll know?" Since this pony was a lot on the country side, might as well say Free Bird. "Free Bird...for one" I nervously said. "Free Bird?" AJ looked up in surprise. "By Lynyrd Neighyrd?" Lynyrd Neighyrd. Lynyrd Skynyrd. Ha, I get it. "Um, yea. That one exactly" I said. AJ then smiled and lifted up her attitude. "Well I'll be darned sugar, ya'll know how to play on of em' fancy songs! Ya'll should come back here again for supper tomarra' and play that song fur me." she said happily. "Eh, will do." I said with delight that know the pony is comfortable with me and not eying me suspiciously. "But before ya'll go, Ah'm sorry if I was givin' you the cold shoulder earlier, just Ah though you might be some scary creature that was gonna eat me or somethin'." AJ said with a smile. Oh, the irony. "Oh, um, Ray? Would you um, like to stay with me for a bit since you have your...guitar thing...with me? We can go um, down to Rarity's tomorrow and get your clothes." Fluttershy asked. Since I had no other choice, might as well follow her back to her cottage. Hopefully my jacket is fixed tomorrow and I can find out what the hell exactly happened. Twilight went her own separate way and I followed Fluttershy back to her home. The walk was an hour or two. Once finally arrived, she prepared a bed for me on the couch. I wonder if they treat all non-world native creatures this kind. Fluttershy went up stairs and I flopped down on the couch. Surprisingly it was soft. And before long I drifted to sleep. Sleep. such...a...wonderful...w.woooooooord-...*snore* That's the princess?I slowly began to open one eye. The darkness that surrounded me faded in an aroma of colors. Wait...this isn't my house... "WHAT THE" I exclaimed as I sprang up, eyes widened at the mysterious place before me. It was there I realized where I was and remembered the whole events. "Oh...yeah...right" I muttered while slowly falling back into the trance of sleep, until a familiar voice said: "Are...are you awake?" Fluttershy asked as I looked to the right of me. She somewhat giggled at my forgetfulness. "I...um, I woke up early to feed the chickens, when I..uh, came across this" she said as she pulled a square object out of her bag and handed it to me. It was my Electric Light Orchestra greatest hits CD from my car. Even though my car is...well was an early 70's model with a cassette player, I upgraded it to a CD player so I can play CD's on the road. "Hey wait, that's my ELO album, where'd you find that?" I asked. "It was by my chicken coop, but that was the only thing around, nothing else" she said. "But...who's ELO, if that's okay" she said while hiding her face in her hair a bit. "Uh....they're a group of musicians, who are basically an Orchestra....but using styles of rock in it." I replied. That seemed enough to satisfy the pony. She was going to say something else until a knock came on the door. "I"ll get it" she said. She fluttered over to the door and opened it. Twilight Sparkle poked her head half way through and said "You guys might want to come outside for a second" she said as she motioned us to follow her. Me and Fluttershy went outside to only see a bright white light. Suddenly, there was a thud and standing before me, was a friggin' giant pony. No, it can't be a pony. It has to be like, a horse. I noticed it had a horn and wings...a mix of a unicorn and Pegasus? What ever it was, it was white, tall, had some type of tiara. I noticed both Twilight and Fluttershy bowing down to it. The horse...thing begun to stare at me, inspecting me very closely without saying a word. She...I'm assuming, leaned forward right to my face. "What is your name?" she asked. I began to shake as I'm probably talking to someone of high power, and one wrong move and I'm done for. "Uh..R..Ray" I quietly replied. "I see," she said while she started to go into a more gentle, uplifting mood. "Well, I'm Princess Celestia. Ruler of all Equestria. Welcome." she stated. Oh shit, she's the princess. "Uh...hi" I said while still having the fear of god bestowed upon me. "I understand you're not from this place, correct? she said. I nodded. "From my understanding, there had been a surge of power from a source that traveled far beyond the world. I'm not sure what object is powerful enough to generate such power to travel through space at such lengths. I will be looking into the cause of this event and ways on how to correct it." she finished her statement. "In the mean time, you are welcome to stay here, as long as you are kept out of the public eye. We don't want to start a mob." "...Will do" I said. The princess then expanded her wings and flew up into the sky. At the same time, I heard trotting coming up right behind me. I turned around halfway to only find myself impaled into the ground by a strong force. I look up to only find a constant stream of words coming from a pink pony with poofy hair. "HEYISITTRUEYOUAREANANLIENHEYSHOULDALIENSBEALLGREENANDSPOOKYANDSTUFFANDSAYICOMEINPEICEBUTYOUDONTLOOKLIKEANALIEN-" she was cut off and pushed off of me by another blue pony with wings. "Easy there, Pinkie. We don't want to fry its brain." said the pony with a raspy voice and a rainbow colored mane. "So Twilight, uh, what is this thing? And where's its fur?" the blue pony said. I got up and slowly descended backwards away from the 4 ponies. "Hey uh Rainbow, I think we're creeping him out" Twilight said as she noticed me backing away. "Him?!?!" the blue pony said out of surprise. "Hey I didn't mean to creep it out! Matter of fact I haven't creeped anyone out, except for this onetimeIwaswatchingapplejackthroughthewindowofherroomandshewassleepingandIwascu-" the pink pony rambled on. The blue Pegasus rolled her eyes at the pink pony and ran up toward me. I backed into an inconveniently placed tree as the Pegasus pony closed in. "What...are you?" she said. I had no choice but to answer. "A...human." "A what?" "Human." I said. "What's a human?" Here we go again. Enemy spottedI gave the blue Pegasus a breakdown of what a human being was, for the 3rd or 4th time. This took the rest of the afternoon to explain. The hyperactive pink pony hopped over to the area where me and the blue Pegasus were standing by, listening to my definition. "And basically, yeah, that's why we have these attachments called thumbs.", I said as I finished off the tale. The pink pony cocked her head sideways and looked at me. She said "Where did you come from then?". "I came fr-" I was cut off from Twilight putting her hoof over my mouth. "He is from a magical land...heh...one that...many people haven't heard of," she said. "Yeah...I guess that's where I came from," I said, going a long with Twilight's story. In the distance, I could see the sun was slowly setting. The atmosphere began to grow dark as nightfall approached. Twilight seemed to catch notice. She glanced at the horizon to see the sun setting. She turned back at the two other ponies. "Eh, It's starting to get dark out girls, I think me and our...human friend here better go." she said. The blue Pegasus and the pink pony nodded at each other in agreement. "Hey wait, before we go, what it's name?" said the blue one. "Uh, my name is Ray..." now focusing my attention on the blue Pegasus. "Alright, my name is Rainbow...and that over there is, well Pinkie." she gestured her hoof over at Pinkie, who was licking a flower. "I guess I'll be off, so bye Twilight." said Rainbow, she then opened her wings and head off up into the clouds. Pinkie, I'm assuming, hopped off to her own home. I guess round two at fluttershy's house...I thought to myself. "Well um, Ray, I guess I'll be off to study more on your appearance here." Twilight said as she left off on her own path. "I um, guess we better go in..." silently said Fluttershy. The stars began to show in the orange and dark blue gradient of the cartoon sky. Me and Fluttershy begun to make our way towards her cottage when we suddenly heard a distance scream in the ambiance. I stopped dead in my tracks and turned around to face the source of the scream. There I saw a cream colored pony with a two tone magenta/blue hair color, with a horrified expression on her face. "WHA-WHA-WHAT IS THAT THING?!" she exclaimed. Ponies began to emerge from the nearby hills to see what was with all the commotion. Multiple ponies began to accommodate the cream pony, then caught site of me and Fluttershy. Within the blink of an eye, Fluttershy flew at the speed of light into her cottage and slammed the door, leaving me to face a mob of ponies who permanently locked eyes with me. "I...I THINK IT MAY BE TRYING TO HURT US" shouted out some pony from the crowd, "CAPTURE IT!" yelled another one. They started to move in from the distance. I began to take a few steps backwards. They began to progress speed. I instantly toggled my 'oh shit' mode and ran for my life towards the woods. "FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU-" I screamed as I ran down a dirt path, leading into a dense forest. I could hear the sound of trotting creeping up behind me. I am no where athletic, and out of shape if anything, so I couldn't run fast. I was no match for speed of these ponies. While running for my life, I spotted a ditch up ahead. I ran toward the ditch, as I came closer, it was covered by a bunch of shrubs. This is the ideal hiding spot. I leaped forward straight into one of the shrubs. *THWAAAAP* was the only sound I heard, as I got slapped in the face multiple times from branches that were bent back. I landed inside a bush that was big enough to cover my whole body. I stood silent for a minute, I then heard a herd of ponies sprinting past me and off into the distance, with a light source following them. I sighed in relief, while catching my breath. "I'm glad that's over." I quietly said to myself. Then I heard a buzzing noise to my right. I glanced over and saw a wasp, resting on a leaf. "Buzz off" I said and slapped the wasp off of the leaf. Worst move I could ever make. I heard more buzzing. I peered past the shrub, to see a giant wasp nest located right next to the shrub I was in. Wasps were pouring out of the entrance, and flew straight toward me. "HOLY SHITSHITSHITFUCKFUCK" I exclaimed in horror as I darted out of the shrub, with a whole swarm of wasps after me. I literally screamed like a girl. I was running through a dense forest, in the dark, not knowing my whereabouts, with an angry mob of ponies within a 5 mile radius, AND getting chased by wasps. If I wasn't in a bad situation, I don't know what the hell was. I was flailing my arms left and right trying to swat off the painful barrage of wasps. In attribute to the loud buzzing, I heard faint voices in the distance. The mob is picking back up on my trail. While trying to battle off the wasps, I heard a loud roar come up from behind me. The swarm of wasps froze solid, and any color in my face just turned to white. I turned around. There was a giant bear. It let out another loud, earth shaking roar. The swarm of wasps quickly broke up. That's all fine and dandy, to only now realize I'M BEING CHASED BY A FRIGGIN' BEAR. I, once again, screamed like a girl and made a break for it. I now have a bear and an angry mob of ponies chasing after me through the forest. My only source of light was the moon. I was trying to dodge every tree in my path, while the giant bear just plowed through them, as if it were a freight train. It then took a long lunge at me. I quickly jumped to avoid its hit, but also fell down a steep hill. "GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA-" I screamed while I uncontrollably rolled down a hill, making painful contact with any tree branch and thorn shrub in my path. The air began to get more thinner and fog started rolling in. I came to a stop after having my face make contact with a tree trunk. After about a second of pain and seeing nothing but stars, I got knocked unconscious. I slowly awoken to a morning sky. My vision was constantly refocusing on the objects around me. After awhile, I got a clear image. I tried moving my arm, but it ached in soreness. I eventually mustered up enough strength to slowly rise from the ground. I staggered getting up, and leaned on a tree to gain some support. I slowly looked at my surroundings. I was in the middle of nowhere, lost in this forest. I looked at my clothes, they were all torn and ripped, with a couple of branches sticking out, a long with patches of dirt and grass stains. I slowly staggered my way to what appeared to be a pond. I slowly bent my aching back forward to look into it. My god, my face was a wreck. My hair was all over the place, I had a few red bumps from the wasp stings, I had dried blood all over my mouth and nose area, and I had a black eye. I looked up. "H...h...hello" I said with hardly any strength. "Is...anyone...out here?" I said thinking I'd get a reply. Nothing answered back but the sound of wind running through the leaves. I looked ahead and saw a running stream. I slowly moved toward the stream, with every aching step. I finally arrived at the stream. I peered at my reflection in the water, slowly keeled down and cupped some water. I took a sip, then splashed the rest all over my face. I repeated multiple times to wash all the dry blood off. I than stood up, took a few steps back, and then collapsed. Right before everything went to black, I heard something coming up from nearby bushes. My vision and hearing faded out. Silhouette. If anypony hasn't read this fic called "How did I get here" by k12314, you should read that. It's a pretty cool story that was actually well written, with its slice of comedy/romance, as well as the crossovers and references (tf2 ftw!) White. I saw nothing but white. It was if I were in a white, enclosed room. I only heard a faint, static ambient. There were no objects around me, but ahead, stood the silhouette of a pony. It was a mere outline, completely filled in with a shade of black. It just stood there, I couldn't tell if it was looking directly at me or in the opposite direction. I began to move toward it. As I moved toward it, it appeared to me that it had no mane or tail. The static sound progressively grew. I inched closer and closer. The pony figure seemed to grow taller and taller. I could hear a ringing in my ears. I couldn't stop myself from moving. I couldn't talk, I couldn't scream, it was as if I were possessed. The outline of the tall pony began to uncover itself. Its legs were a pale shade of white. The shadow began to inch more and more upwards, then it became clear that it was wearing a black business suit. I suddenly stopped. The whole pony, all but for its head was reveled. Its body was completely white. It was wearing a black suit, with a red tie. It's cutie mark....was a black circle, with an X through it. Its head began to uncover itself. Its face was...was...wait. There was no face. A sudden shock of fear shot down my spine. The static noise grew. The ringing in my ears were at a drum-piercing level. I couldn't scream. I couldn't move. Its face....ITS HORRIBLE FUCKING FACE, IT'S NOT THERE. THERE WAS NO FACE, NO EYES, NO MOUTH, JUST THE BASIC OUTLINE OF ITS HEA- Suddenly, it all stopped. I slowly began to regain consciousness. My vision began to transition from black to blue. I found myself starring at a clear, blue sky, surrounded by various trees. I was still in the middle of the woods somewhere. I must have passed out for a couple of hours. I tried my put together all my strength to sit up, and so I did. But I immediately noticed an orange Pegasus right next to me. It stared right at me with big, blue eyes. Within a blink of an eye, the Pegasus took off. Its cutie mark looked like a white rectangle with smaller, black vertical lines on it. It...it resembled the keys on a piano. "HEY, H..HEY YOU!" I shouted to him as I was trying to stand up. But it was too late, he flew too far away. "Who was that guy...." I said to myself. But I have bigger problems to worry about. I'm stuck in the middle of a forest. I have 0 sense of direction. So I began to wonder aimlessly about in the thick woods. After another few hours, I picked up on a creek and followed it. I slowly began to descend out of the woods, out into open, rolling green hills. After a while, I picked up on a dirt path. I followed the path and reached over a hill, up ahead in my distance, I saw apple trees. So this must mean I'm near an apple orchard. I ascended down the path into the apple orchard. I came across another hill, and just over that hill was a city, and from the looks of it, that city is Ponyville. If I remembered correctly, Sweet Apple Acres is around these parts. I quickly ran down the descending slope of the hill. To my surprise, I saw Sweet Apple Acres. Across a couple of trees, AJ was going away at kicking the trees. I think she said it was called Apple Buckin' or something like that. I quickly headed toward AJ's location. I ran into some trees and stumbled over a few pot holes in the ground as I still haven't regained all my complete energy. I think AJ heard some type of ruckus going on and spotted me. I took sight of her as she quickly ran toward me. "OH MY, SUGARCUBE!", AJ exclaimed as she neared me. I was on the verge of collapsing, once again, due to total exhaustion. AJ stood right next to me, giving me support to move. We slowly walked toward a bale of hay that was lying around near the giant red barn. My legs quickly gave in to the hay. "Here, lemme fix ya'll somethin' to drink", said AJ as she quickly trotted inside the barn to retrieve a glass of water. I sat up, drunk it all in a racing manner, and fell back down on the hay. "Gee Sugarcube, ya'll caused a ruckus in town the other day, whole town was after you, think' you some type of creature tryin' to hurt us or somethin", said AJ. "I...don't even know what happened. One minute I was heading back towards Fluttershy's cottage, next I found myself being attacked by every force known.", I replied, "Am I all over the news or something?". "The whole town was talkin' about you. When I headed in to fetch some supplies, everyone was bein' all paranoid n' stuff. They think ya'll are going to do some crazy take over.", answered back AJ. "Gee, isn't that just find and dandy...", I sarcastically said while the sun began to set. "Well, I sorta need help going back to Fluttershy's cottage, seeing as that's the only place I can stay at." I said. "Aw heck sugarcube, it's too late to go all the way into town to take you back, ya'll can stay the night here.", AJ cheerfully said. "Well, I guess so.", I said. Knowing that I have nowhere else to stay. I slowly closed my eyes, and drifted off into a much needed rest. I awoke the next morning to site of Applejack bucking apples. I slowly stood up, rubbed the sand out of my eyes and yawned. "Mornin' Sugarcube", said AJ. "Heh, good morning Applejack." "Ya'll find the hay comfy?" "I haven't slept on anything besides a couch in the past couple of days. So I could really settle for anything.". Me and AJ shared a laugh as Twilight trotted by. "Ray! You've started up a whole mob in the town yesterday!", said Twilight. "Well gee, just some pony sorta saw me, freaked out and what not...I couldn't really have prevented it-", I stopped. My eyes locked on to the same pony from my early vision way out in the fields. I blinked, and it was gone. I continued to stare off into the distance, too shocked to move. "Uh....Ray?", Twilight and AJ said. They turned around to what I was supposedly looking out. They saw nothing and turned back to me. I was severely shocked out of my mind, and I could not move any part of my body. My widened eyes just froze in that direction. Suddenly, everything turned into white. Peace into FearI felt no feeling. I felt no weight. I was just floating around in empty, white space. The only thing that I could hear was...was...indescribable. (Basically this) It's as if you were playing a horror game that was based in an old, abandoned hospital. I was just...there. Floating around in empty space. Suddenly, images appeared with a horrific blast of static sound. These images and sounds lasted a quarter of a second. Every couple of seconds, they would appear. I began to focus my mind on the images. One image I could make out, it appeared to be home. Earth. My originating dimension. It was like a field. It looked like there was nothing but rolling, green hills and blue skies. Another image flashed, and resembled what I think is called Equestra. It looked a lot like the previous image, but cartooned at first. This went on for a couple of more minutes, until it stopped. The static sound still hung around, but not nearly as loud. Suddenly, I can feel myself drop to the ground. With a great thud and some pain, I look up from the dirt. I was in that first image. It was as if I were home on Earth. I saw nothing but grassy fields, running along big, green rolling hills. Not a tree or a person in sight. I could hear the wind blow and rustle the grass. The skies...the skies were beautiful. It was a bright, blue sky with fluffy clouds. It's as almost as this was directly copied off of a default Windows desktop wallpaper. I suddenly felt a sense of ease, a sense of peace. The sun was shinning down upon the beautiful landscape, bringing out its vivid, bright colors. I looked all around me. Suddenly...I felt an urge to turn around and look to my right. There on a hill, I saw a tree. It appeared to be a giant, old, oak tree with a full set of leaves. Strange...I haven't seen that before, I thought to myself. I headed toward the tree. As I got closer, it appears more and more that there was something carved on its trunk. I ran right up to its trunk. On the front of the trunk, it appears a message was carved into it. From my ability, it read: Blitz...help...behind..ouy I pondered for a second. "Behind ouy...what does that even me-" It hit me like a speeding freight train. Ouy is you backwards. Behind you. That's what the message said. Suddenly my sense of peace and ease vanished. It was replaced by goose bumps and shivers down my spine. It's as almost as if I had a dose of fear injected right into my veins. The wind suddenly stopped blowing. The bright blue sky suddenly turned a dark shade of red, with clouds that grew bigger and bigger, as if it were going to rain. The whole landscape had a shade of red. It was as if someone placed a red filter over the sun, changing the whole setting. The static noise was returning. Its decibel level grew and grew. I turned around. Red, chunky water droplets began to rain down from the sky. It was blood. Off in the distance, was the dark figure of what I think is a man. I could sense he was starring right at me. I felt something wrong. I felt a strange connection to this man. Suddenly, I blinked...and he somehow traveled a couple yards ahead. I could sense that this man was a bad entity. That he wasn't good. He was evil. I blinked again, he got even closer. It backed up into the oak tree, which now had its leaves removed, showing its dead, bare branches. I began to panic. I breathed louder and louder, sweat starting to form on my forehead. I quickly turned around to see that the message carved now read: Can...be...saved...one The messaged started to bleed its own fluid. I turned back around, to face the more horrifying thing I have ever seen in my whole entire life. It was a tall, slender man. He was wearing a black suit with a black tie. Much like the pony from my earlier intermission. His arms almost extended down to the ground. I looked at his face. He had no face. There was nothing there. No eye sockets, no nose, no mouth, just a plain stretch of pale, clammy, flesh. The center point of its face was starring right down upon me. My vision suddenly began to twitch and twist violently, like if it was an old TV with antennas, having a bad signal. Suddenly an object emerged from behind him. It had the outline of a pony. It was completely shadowed. It lunged right at me. Instead of causing harm to me, I somehow got onto its back. Suddenly two large objects spread from its sides. The pony was a Pegasus. We began to fly up in the air, into the red filtered sky. I looked down upon the tall, slender, suited man. He was staring right back at me, powerless to stop me. Suddenly, everything blasted into a shade of white. "GAHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" I screamed. I sat-up, panting, in cold sweat, and looked around, I was back in Equestria. It was nightfall. I could hear crickets chirping and short gusts of wind rustling leaves. Underneath me was a blanket. I felt something wrapped around my head. It was bandage. I was in some large, grassy plain with a near-by lake. The stars glistened down upon the lake, and the moon did its share of lighting the landscape with the distant forest. "Where...where am I?" I said to the space around me. "You're away from there," said a male pony of some sort. He sounded as if he was in his late teens. I suddenly saw a bright beam of light. "Ah! Too bright!" I said while rubbing my eyes. I then adjusted to the light source. It was an oil lantern. And holding it, was the Pegasus I saw from earlier, lost in the forest. His coat was of a dark orange shade, his mane was brown with maroon streaks running through it, and his eyes were of a light blue. His cutie mark resembled keys on a piano. "You're the...the...the pony from the forest" I said while pointing at him. "I guess you can say that." "How...where did you...why did you even" "It's best if some questions go unanswered." I was completely baffled. "You're not exactly from these parts...aren't you?" said the Pegasus. "N...no, not at all." "I may have a lead or two on how you got here. But first, you probably want some questions about a previous event answered." I simply nodded. "Well then, that vision that you had, what exactly happened in it?" "Uh...how did you know I had a vision?" "Just answer my question" the Pegasus said with an impatient tone. I certainly don't want to piss him off, so I might as well. "Well, it's as if I was on my own, er, planet. At first it was a beautiful sight, green hills, blue skies and such. Then I noticed an oak tree, It said something about help, and someone named Blitz. Then that's when the peaceful setting suddenly went into a representation of hell. Then this guy appeared, then this pon-" "Wait, what did the guy look like?" "Well, he was tall and slender. He had a black suit, pale skin, and a lack of face..." "What did the pony look like?" "I couldn't tell. It was shadowed out. All I could make out was that it was a Pegasus." "Mhm, and what happened after the Pegasus appeared?" "Well, at first I thought he was going to attack me, but then I found myself on his back and we flew off, then it just went to white and that's how I got here." It was getting really late. "Alright, it's getting really late, I'm sure a...creature like you needs some type of rest. Pick up that blanket and climb on me, there's something that I think belongs to you at my place." the Pegasus said, while beckoning me to get on his back. After a few miserable attempts of getting on a Pegasus's back, we then flew off. We went past a few fields and farm houses. The cold night air hitting me in the face was the only thing that was keeping me awake. After what I'd say would be about a 30 minute flight, we arrived at this house. Since it was dark, I couldn't tell much about it from the outside. I followed the pony inside. It was pretty spacious. All the walls and floors had a nice wood finish to them, as if it was a really big tree house. There was a circular living room with a few couches, a grand piano at one end, a couple of keyboards and synthesizers at the other end. There was a spiral staircase leading upwards to a few more rooms, and to the right of the keyboards was another room with a kitchen. The pony trotted into the kitchen, opened a door to retrieve an object. He walked in the room I was currently in with an object in his mouth. He laid it down in-front of me. "Is this yours?" he said. It was my custom shop Les Paul Black Beauty that I left earlier from Fluttershy's cottage. "Whoa, it's my Les Paul, where'd you find it?" I said. "When you suddenly passed out, I was nearby when Applejack called out for help. I told her that I can take care of it. Then I think one of the more silent ponies...Fluttershy was it, flew up to me with that guitar you have there, telling me it was yours." "...really?" I said. "Well, thanks! I don't know what will become of me if I lost it..." "It's all good. I used to try out guitar myself, until I decided to try out the piano. I picked up on it pretty good...and turned out great on it, so that's when I got my cutie mark." Then the pony yawned. "Well, I think we should all be getting to sleep here. You can crash here for the night, the couches are pretty comfy." "Heh, already, thanks for the hospitality I guess." I gave out a chuckle. "Yeah, but I forgot to tell you. My name is Blitz." the pony said. I suddenly starred right at him. "That means...you're...you...you're the-" "Save it for tomorrow." Blitz said. He then turned off the light and trotted up the spiral staircase. I looked over at the inviting couches. There was a green one that looked comfy, so I sat down on it. I instantly sunk down into it. Greatest feeling ever. Then my aching body was completely submerged into the couch. It felt like there was anvils on my eyelids. I forgot any form of reality and drifted off to sleep. Deep Thought.Yeah yeah, jumping on the OC bandwagon...although this OC wasn't exactly my idea. Just decided to throw it in for the hell of it. It was midnight. The only sounds I could hear were the crickets chirping outside the windows and the refrigerator running. I have a habit of randomly awaking during the night. It's a burden really if you're trying to get sleep. But here I was, just staring right up at the wooden-grooved ceiling. Just laying on this couch, hands under my head, just gazing off into the distance. This is one of the rare times where I reflect upon what the glorious fuck is happening. I don't even know how the hell did I get sucked into this imaginary world...I've probably been drugged or injured into a coma in reality. Damn...those must be some pretty trippy drugs. I held my hands in front of my face. The moonlight outside provided some light over the dark blue setting. I could see the black outline around my hands. My skin was just one Caucasian shade. No hues, no shading, no anything. Just a flat color, as with much of the scenery around me. This...strange pony that I've ran into in the past couple of days, now just met, is sleeping away in the room above me, free from all though being in a different place. This world was somewhat similar to the world I was in, they had homes, trees, grass, mountains, skies and such. Various objects that also relate to my world, it's just all...strange. I was forced to watch a few episodes with younger siblings, typical cartoon. Just to think that the writers and animators happened to jot down all the personality and designs of the ponies, to only have them be pretty accurate in this world. I'm pretty sure they don't have the worry about rising gas prices, nuclear threats going off everywhere, being agonized in society for being different. But come to think of it...this...pony creature. If that's even a pony. Pale white skin, black suit complete with tie...me having the horrible pleasure of meeting its human...thing counter part. Seriously, I don't know how I'm connected to this...thing...or how I'm even connected to this world at all. This would pretty much be every little girl's/18 year old neckbeard's dream. Suddenly there was a thump outside. I sat up and looked out the nearest window. A shadow passed by the window. I got up from the couch, staggered somewhat, and slowly moved to the window. Out in the distance, I saw a pony...fly off. My mind was a little more eased now, that it's just a Pegasus...and not that slender like pony. But what would a Pegasus be doing at this hour? I shook the thought from my head, deeming it as having no significant importance, and walked back to the couch. I laid down back in my previous position, falling back into deep thought. This time, I closed my eyes for a while, trying to get back to sleep after being awake for the previous 30 minutes. Tomorrow, first off, I'm going to try to get my guitar back. Second, I need to find out how the hell does this Blitz guy...err pony know about my intermissions. Third...how do I get out of here? As much as this world is perfect...every person whom I interacted with on a daily basis is probably freaking out at my extended disappearance. Bleh, I'll worry about it tomorrow. I then stopped worrying about those thoughts, and drifted off to sleep. The first think I awake to was the smell of something cooking. It smelled like a typical breakfast...to me at least. I slowly opened my eyes and rubbed the sand out of them. I sat up, back cracking with every movement, yawned, and scratched my head. The kitchen was in the room next to where I was, and a delightful smell was emitting from it, along with the sound of something frying. Out from a pantry that was obstructed from my view, I presume, came in Blitz, dumping some sort of hay into the pan. Now the smell transitioned from a lovely bacon n' eggs smell, into a burning plant smell. "Whoaa...." I silently said to myself as I waved the fumes away from my face. "I see you're up..." "Heh...yeah...I sorta smelled something" "Just makin' some eggs and hay" "H..." Oh yeah, that's right. Ponies, hay, forgot. "Oh..." "...you wanna try some?" "uh...I don't think I can digest hay..." Blitz looked around, went up to the stove, cut up the last egg in the pain and put it on a paper plate and gave it to me. Stereotyped cartoon egg, perfect white, perfect yolk. I sat down at the table where Blitz was sitting. I grabbed a fork and took a bite out of the egg. ...taste's the same. "Pretty good..." "Yeah, I'm not that much of an advanced cook...but I know my basics." "Yeah...yeah..." I said as I starred down at my egg, not making any further move to eat it. Blitz noticed my droopy eyes "I'm going to assume that you were...err..awake all night?" "Not really, just I woke up here and there...thought a little...woke up again to some noises outside" Blitz suddenly stopped eating and looked at me. "...was there a Pegasus outside?" "...yea" Blitz sighed. "I'll attend to that later" "In the meantime, why don't you err...go outside and do something while I go back into town and talk to those ponies you were previously with?" "I don't think that's such a good idea...me being from a completely different dimension and all..." "Not like anyone else is around here...We're sorta in a secluded area, and besides, there's this beehive behind the house that needs to be taken care of..." Blitz smirked a grin at me. I starred right at him. "HAHA, YEAAAAno. I've already gotten my ass chased by a swarm of flying insects before, I'm not about to relive the scenario." "....I'll letcha' use a can of hairspray and a box of matches" "I'm in." Blitz got up, went to the kitchen counter, pulled out a drawer and got a can of hairspray and a box of matches. He then trotted back over to me and handed me them. My eyes light up, bring out the inner pyro in me. I grabbed the can and the box of matches and dashed out the kitchen, and out of the front door. This pony lived in a pretty secluded area alright. There were luscious green hills all around, and in the distance were great, big, mountains. There was a dirt road running down the street in front of home, leading to other cottages way out in the distance. If only homes on earth, in urbanized areas looked like this, and not all cramped up next to each-other. I then ran around to the back of the cottage to see a massive tree, with a beehive hanging down from it. Apart from the short bursts of wind and leaves rustling, I could hear the buzzing of the bees. I looked back and I saw Blitz hover in the air. "I'll be back later, and hopefully will answer some of your questions, just take care of the tree...and yeah." Blitz took off. "Oh, I'm going to take care of them alright." I said to myself with an evil smirk. I pulled out a match from the box, swiped it across the lighting strip, and the match crackled to life. I carefully aimed the can in front of the match and sprayed a short burst of the hairspray. "BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOSH" A giant fireball shot out from the spray, and went right at the tree. The tree suddenly combusted in flames. "Uh...that wasn't suppose to happen" I said to myself. Then I witnessed the burning beehive fall to the ground. From it, I could hear a rumbling roar. My eyes widened. "...Fuck." A stream of bees, some burning shot out from the hive and charged in a line right at me. "oh shit...oh shit...OHSHITOHSHITOHSHITOHSHITOHSHITOHSHITOHSHITOHSHIT" I shouted out as I began to run for sweet mercy. "GOD DAMMIT, NOT THIS AGAIN!" I ran away from the cottage, hoping to god it doesn't catch on fire. Suddenly I felt light headed. Everything around me started to melt away. I had a feeling as if I were floating. Oh god...not this again. Suddenly everything flashed to white, and I found myself in a familiar white room. An Explanation...white That was the only word that I could describe my current whereabouts. All around me, every corner, every space, white. I was in this position before. It wasn't any less freaky than the previous intermission, but needless to say, I'm familiar with the setting. I could almost feel as if I was inflated with helium. I felt a sensation of floating, with some strange, mystical force surrounding me. The only sound I could hear was me breathing. I felt in no position to say a word to the force around me. I was just floating here in this white space, doing nothing, not moving a single muscle. Suddenly, I felt as if I began to fall. With a thud, I fell to what felt like a floor. "Ow!" I said, clenching my side as I tried to stand up. I looked around, still no other visible colors other than a pale, white. I took a step forward. My footstep echoed into the endless room. I slowly began to work forward, until a shadow appeared in front of me. It was a shadow of what appeared to be a male teenager, with an object that resembles a guitar, slung around him, and what looks like long, wavy hair. He had his hands in his pockets, just facing me. I think that's suppose to resemble me. I slowly began to move forward toward the figure. The figure's hair was blowing to the right, as if there were some type of wind. I got closer and closer to the figure, each step I took, I could hear a electrical hum emitting from it. I inched closer and closer until... *CRAAAAAAAAASH* I walked right into a mirror. It made the most horrific, loudest, glass breaking noise I have ever heard. I was so startled that I jumped back and fell on the ground. In front of me was a large, broken glass crack. Then all the sudden...it began to ooze a red liquid. Could it be...no...I couldn't be. Blood. It began to ooze blood from under the crack. The electrical humming noise grew louder and louder. Then all the sudden, I heard an ear-piercing bang, then the whole room melted to black. Suddenly I felt nothing, as if my whole body was missing. Suddenly I heard a muffled, drowned out voice. *BANG* Another ear piercing bang noise occurred. Suddenly my vision blasted to white, then a whole aroma of colors blasted right at me. It was a blurred image, then it became more clear and clearer. Suddenly I felt wind, and could hear rustling leaves. I saw what I think is a blurred mountain skyline with a bright blue sky. My vision finally adjusted, and I was lying down, facing the sky, in the cartoon land of Equestria. I could smell the terrible smell of a near-by manure farm, but that the least of my concern. I slowly sat-up. In front of me was my pony friend, Blitz's home, with small smoke emitting from the back of it. Suddenly I went into full alert mode. "OH SHIT!" I exclaimed as I began to ran around toward the back of the house. To my relief, I saw the tree from earlier, burned to the roots...but extinguished. Ash was scattering through the air. I think that was the beehive from it. I looked around me. I was where I was left off, before. The luscious green landscape, the beautiful sky, wonderful mountains in the backdrop, it was all back to normal. "...I wonder when Blitz is going to get ba-" Speak of the devil. He flew right above me, and lowered himself to my level. "...I see you've gotten the tree taken care of" "Uh yeah...yeah...uh...I guess I did...", I was still shook up. Blitz arched an eyebrow at me. "Judging by the way you're shaking...something happened while I was gone, right?" "Ye..n..no...well...uh...sorta.." I don't know if I should agree or disagree. "It did, didn't it?" I sighed and eased my shoulders. "Yeah..." Blitz than sat down and altered into a serious mood. "You know, I'll go ahead and tell you why these phenomenons keep occurring". Blitz took a deep breath, than began to explain. "These...unnatural occurrences that keep happening to you, it's by an outside force. That purple pony, Twilight, you've talked to, she knows jack squat about this. The princess that you met, she hasn't dealt with anything like this. The creature you've been seeing, that's apart of the outside force. Something wants you back into your destined universe, and it's trying to pull you back. But this force...isn't exactly a good entity. It wants to pull you back into an alternate world, a world designed like yours, but at the same time, made to fool you. It's using you to gain energy so it can become more powerful and powerful. "The reason why you've entered here out of any other feasible scenario out there to the existence of everything, beyond me. It's just luck I guess. I've been looking into these types of occurrences, while also balancing the rest of my life. You need to find the pathway somewhere here, into your own, originating world. I probably can't help you any further then that, but once you know where it is, I can definitely help you guide on the way there." I was dozing off when Blitz was talking, so I actually didn't pay attention to anything but for the last part. "Uh...and how do I find this pathway?" "I dunno, it should end up finding its way to you somehow." "What, how? It's not everyday that-" Blitz suddenly put his hoof up to my mouth. "Shh, let me do the talking" he said. I had a confused look onto my face, until I heard flapping nearby. "Hey Blitz!" said a cheerful, err...Mare I presume. She landed right in-front of me and Blitz. Her coat was a bright blue...almost eye blinding vibrant blue, light and dark shades of green for a mane. Sorta looks like Rainbow Dash's hairstyle. A long with a long, straight tail with stripes of the same shades of green as the mane. Seriously, I can't look at this pony for more than 10 seconds without my eyes burning at the sun reflecting off of her coat. "Uh Blitz...what is that?", she pointed her hoof at me. I swear if another angry mob starts again.... "Him? Oh, he's just a visitor." "...it's a him? Where's his tail? Why does he have no fur? Where's his cutie ma-" Blitz put a hoof up to the pony's mouth. "Now Lyric, this is my friend...Ray, he's what you'd call...a human." "Ooooooooooh...wait what's a human?" I've only explained this half a million times ever since I got here. "To make a long story short Lyric, he's a mammal that walks on two legs and has these things called fingers that can pickup stuff". Blitz couldn't have said it better. "Oh...well sorry for interrupting you guys, Blitz, you coming to my place for pizza tonight? You can bring that...human thing too if you want". I sure do love being classified as an object. "Yeah, sure thing Lyric." "Alright, bye Blitz!", and the mare flew off. "Uh...who was that?" "Just a friend." "Uh huh", "HEY! Nothing more than a friend, alright?" "mmhmm", I said in a sarcastic tone. "Alright, well Ray, let's go back inside, I got something to show ya'", and with that, I followed the pony back into his home. Damn, this day is weird. Fun can't last forever...I walked inside Blitz's house. After closing the door behind me, I went across the room and sat on the couch. The pony walked to a door, opened it, and pulled out a large object, and had laid it down in front of me. It was a black, 88 key-keyboard. The design didn't look any different from what it was on my originating universe. Blitz carefully adjusted his hoof angle and played up a series of notes, starting on the 'C' note and ending on a 'C' note an octave higher. "That's called the C major scale." "Wait...C major?" I looked over the couch and picked up my guitar. It felt like years since I've last picked one up. "Here...play the C scale again on the count of 3" I said. "1...2...3" I counted down as I taped my foot every beat. Blitz and I both played up the C major scale. I was surprised, could the same laws of music theory exist here as it did on earth? "Wait...Blitz....what notes are you hitting?" "Just the C major. C, D, E, F, G, A, B, C." "You mean...your music theory is the same as ours?" I said. "Uh, I have no idea what you mean by that, but sure." After some further speculation, music theory was the same. Same 7 letters of the musical alphabet, same time signature understanding, same chord names and shapes, it all fit in perfectly. "Uh Blitz....how good are you at chords?" "I have my foundations down and covered..." Warning: None of this will make sense unless you play an instrument and can read sheet music. "Alright, play a simple I-IV-V progression." I asked. "What key?" "C major." Blitz then carefully moved his hooves to form the chords in the I-IV-V progression. C, F, and G. It created a simple rock and roll movement. "Alright, see if you can keep up." I said. I then carefully formed my fingers into a diminished G chord, and begun to play the intro to La Bamba. After the first 2 riffs, Blitz and I immediately began to play along with the proper chords. It was actually fun, we perfectly played with each-other in Sync. We had so much fun that we lost track of time, just playing a long with each other, just making music. The sun was already setting in the background before we both got tired out from playing so much. "Hey uh Blitz, what time is it?" "Uh, it's abou-" "Crap. I'm suppose to have pizza with Lyric tonight!" "Can't you just tell her that you're having diarre-" "You honestly want me to sign my own death wish? It's like a 5 minute flight to her place anyway." "You goin' on a date with h-" Blitz suddenly shot me a death stare. "...Never mind." I quietly backed down. One more syllable and I woulda' been bucked into a wall. "Just...come with me." "Yeah, yeah" I said. I sat down my guitar and climbed on Blitz's back, to only fall off, face first in the hard wood floor. After a few more attempts I finally mounted on the pony. We went out the front door and flew up into the air, with me hanging on for dear life. The night was extremely chilly, and it didn't help that the cold wind was stabbing me from the flight. I didn't think I'd hold on much longer as I couldn't feel the tips of my fingers. If I were to shed a tear, it would immediately turn into an ice cycle that could easily kill a man...er horse..pony..what ever. After what seemed like an eternity, we finally landed at a smaller wooden cottage. Blitz trotted up to the front door and knocked his hoof on it a couple of times. After waiting a few minutes...no answer. Blitz and I went back around the cottage and peered into a window. The lights were off, and not a sign of life inside. Blitz began to wonder, "Where could she be? I was suppose to meet her fo-" Suddenly there was a blood hurdling scream coming from the forest around us. Blitz suddenly got a look of fear struck across his face. Without hesitation, he charged into the forest toward the screams, with me flogging up and down like a flag in the wind, trying to hold onto his tail. He ran down a path filled with trees that have been snapped off by some, powerful force. Suddenly Blitz stopped dead in his tracks, flinging me into a near-by tree. I winced in pain and fell...once again, face first into the dirt. I stumble to get up, then began to lock eyes on Blitz. He was starring at something that was in-front of him. I immediately noticed a pale grey pony with a black su- FUCK NO. NOT AGAIN. It was the one slender pony. Tentacles flailed in the air, and in their clutches was an unconscious Lyric. She was still alive, but for god knows how long. Suddenly the whole scenery of the forest backdrop melted away, and once again returned the same old electric, demonic bass sound. But this time, it was all black instead of white. It was just me, the slender pony, Blitz, and the unconscious Lyric. The slender pony just stood there, starring right at Blitz, who was still starring back into the slender pony's non-existent face. The slender pony suddenly stopped looking at Blitz, and slowly and creepily turned its head at me. Now my eyes were locked onto that horrifying face. Blitz suddenly took a step forward, his clop blasted loudly and echoed through out the area. The slender pony suddenly turned back at him, and within a blink of an eye, a mystical forced blasted Blitz backwards into a wall, so hard that he got knocked out from the blow. Just leaving me...and it. Not saying a word, I began to slowly step backwards, until I stepped into some type of depression in the ground. I instantly lost my footing and fell backwards, hitting a wall. The slender pony put down Lyric, and slowly made its way toward me with it's tentacles whipping in the air. It inched closer and closer, having me fall deeper and deeper into cold, hard, fear. I wanted to pass out right there and not witness any horrifying events that would kill me, but my brain refused and remained conscious. With suddenly a flash of a bright, red light, everything was gone. Moonlight message(dat 5 month break) everything was gone... My eyes popped wide open. The first image I saw was the bright full moon in the dark, cartoon, night sky. I stared, and studied that moon for quite a while. My mind was blank. Not a thought went through my mind, but for the moon. It remained like that, for a good while. It was then, that it hit me. I was asleep, and that slender figure was in my own nightmare. I let out a grudge and rolled over on my side. Right next to me was my sleeping pony friend, Blitz. The moonlight highlighted his long, brown mane with maroon streaks, and his orange fur coat. Hell if I know what he is dreaming about. The open field we laid in was highlighted by the moon, along with the distance mountains in the starry horizon. Just a typical, natural, grassy field. Something rare that you'd find in a big metropolis city. There was a slight breeze that made sounds when it blew over the field, reminding me that I'm not completely alone. I rolled over back to my original position, and just laid there, staring at the moon. It's like the moon was telling me a message. It just stayed there, brightly shinning down upon the landscape. I couldn't try to break free from its grip. It just sucked me in, in to deep thought about every questionable event that happened to me. God, why does my ass happen to be chased around by some horrifying figure. I'm pretty sure most people will completely lose their mental sanity and go off the deep end by now if they have to constantly go through the mental horror show. As if its lack of face was disturbing enough...it had a suit to go along with it. That's just icing on the cake. I don't know how I haven't just collapsed and break down at this point. Guess it's just not my thing to do that. I can keep my sanity pretty stable, as I know I'll look back upon these events, and cringe each and every time if I did something stupid. I let out a yawn. I was tired and wouldn't mind returning back to my friend's house for a sheltered sleep. But at the same time, I didn't want to move as I didn't have the energy for it. At this point, I have other things to worry about. Like in the unlikely even that I somehow find out how I can escape this place back to where I originally was...I wouldn't know how to explain it. Police, FBI, friends, family, people who I know, all will question about my extended disappearance. School...I'll have to figure out that one. I plan to get a good education so at least I'll hold a job that others can be proud of. But at the same time, I kinda don't want to leave this magical world. I don't want to return home, carry on a normal life, go through countless sleepless months with school, graduate, get some job in a desk office, work for the other 75% of my life, and retire, like the average Joe. Having to work from 9 to 5 just to get a paycheck, doing the same daily routine every weekday, having limited amount of time for hobbies/interests on weekends...all just a redundant life style. In the real world, people judge you by every possible feature. How tall you are, how fat you are, your views on politics/religion/entertainment, and your looks. Here, people...er ponies, don't judge really on your physical features. They don't need a "degree" that they spend a heap load of money on just to hold a job to support themselves. They have their own special talent, that they don't need a paper that says they do. They can just physically preform it and be happy with their lives. Of course their career choices are very narrowed down by their special talent, but it's naturally chosen. No person/object can tell them what they're good at. It's all right there in the form of a symbol on their flank. Ha...rambling on in my mind about this unrelated stuff. I guess the moon zapped me into a deep thought phrase. Just before I was about to fall back into another deep thought episode, my pony friend started to wake up. He fluttered his eyes a bit as he woke up, smacking his lips a couple of times and yawning. He sat up and gave his wings a good stretch. He focused his blue eyes on me, being highlighted by the moonlight. "...." "...." I looked back at him. "....so" he said. "....that was a nice nap" Before I was about to simply agree, I remembered the horrible dream. "....uh...yeah, nice nap" I said, just to agree and not get into a long discussion about it. It was hard trying not to kill over and fall asleep, my eyes were basically burning out of sleepiness. "...need a lift back to my place?" Blitz asked. "that would be nice..." I replied. Blitz let out a slight smile "alright." and he positioned himself to take off. I tried to climb on his back, but my mind was scrambled from being tried, and I keep trying to climb on his back...but kept falling off. After a couple more attempts, I finally managed to sit on his back correctly, and we both took off. It must be a lot of fun having wings like a Pegasus. Having the free ability to fly where ever you want, at your leisure. It must be tough for plain, earth ponies to adjust to life without having the aid of wings or a magical unicorn horn. Having jealousy shoot up on every corner and a mind set of being good-for-nothing all the time. I guess the same principles of genetics still apply. On the way, the cool wind rushing through my hair was keeping me awake, alert, and still alive. I wonder what we were doing before we both took a nap. I completely forgot, something about his friend and pizza. Ah well. Nothing of immediate concern. Looking down at the passing fields was pretty cool. All dark, hardly lit, leaves occasionally rustle every once in a while, it was to experience. After we both go back to Blitz's little house, we both immediately crashed. He passed out on his bed, I passed out on the couch. It never felt so good to close your eyes after being tired, sinking into the couch, final floods of thoughts racing through your mind, just basically falling into a daze. It was nice, cool, quite...I could feel myself mentally drifting away...from....everything...................................... The QuestionMultiverse. A hypothetical set of universes that can any scenario can be real. Can also be considered parallel worlds or alternative realities. Any scenario thought of, can be a real reality somewhere else. Fantasy wise, it can be a dream come true. People can live their dreams the way they imagined. Wither they are the most powerful person, a popular musician, being with the person of their dreams, it can all be reality in a parallel world. Multiverse also states that the scenarios can be fiction or non-fiction. Keyword: fiction. Any alternate reality can exist. Now, given the scenario of My Little Pony. A children's cartoon from the 80's that had recently been revived and a fan-base that has extended far out across the internet. You have fan-fictions deriving from the show. Some contain ponies falling in love with each-other, some contain ponies baking friends into pastries. To some people out there, entering a universe like Equestria is their break to their unsatisfied lives. Some people may not live the best, constantly engulfed in sadness and/or pain. At this point some might give up everything to permanently enter. Let's take this scenario and put it in a real setting.
"There goes $90""1...2...3...1.2.3.4!" I hit the distortion pedal with my foot.
Sleep. such...a...wonderful...w.woooooooord-...*snore*
That's the princess?I slowly began to open one eye.
