Big Macintosh, despite appearances, knows quite a lot. He knows how to handle the farm's finances. He can recite pi to the fiftieth decimal place. He knows not to brag and to be honest. He's a big, red Colt Scout.

But when an event most unexpected brings out something from deep within Big Macintosh, he must deal with a secret not even he knew he had. A secret that makes him more than any ordinary stallion.
