St. Freya High is a school set up in northern Canterlot, with the soul purpose of training ponies to combat the Honkai. This school is the home of Twilight Sparkle, an A-Rank Valkyrie. Despite being a higher classification than most of her peers, Twilight continues to live within the school to train her mind and body. She has become accustomed to the exams and the daily training she has to put her unicorn body through. She is comfortable with the life of a student; you can never learn too much.

She hasn't seen a new Valkyrie in years, not since the first eruption before she first enrolled. Then, one day, she is approached by her instructor Tempest Shadow. In a week, she'll have six new friendly faces that Principal and founder Celestia wants her to befriend to conquer the Honkai.

Twilight isn't happy about the idea of making friends. But, unfortunately, she doesn't have a say in the matter. The day of the arrivals, she takes a breath, and prepares herself. She might not have a choice but to stick around these ponies. In this world full of destruction, deceit, and death... having an ally might save her life.
