Divide and Loss

Stallion Island, Manehattan, A place for ponies and many creatures. Except one kind; zebras. Zebras are rare creatures and are hardly seen in some parts of Equestria, and some ponies and other creatures are making it hard for them to live in some parts of Equestria. That includes one family that's having the hardest time. One blue unicorn stallion, a female zebra, and an unusual, but rare son that they have with them. A little zebra, about five years old, has a horn of a unicorn!

The blue unicorn stallion is named Thunder Hammer. He has brown eyes, a silver buzzcut, his cutie mark is a hammer with a lightning bolt, and a hard-working stallion that has a job as a security guard at a hotel in the city. He's stern, but kind to others, but to the point of bringing harm to his family. Thunder studies martial arts and can use many styles.

The female zebra is Graceful Blessing. She also has brown eyes, short black curly hair, and her cutie mark is a gold cross with angel wings. She's kind to many, as well. She had a job at a beauty salon, but she's been sick with lung cancer, so she stays home. She has also studied martial arts but has gotten a little weak to train because of cancer. So, she just stays home to be a housewife while Thunder works hard for Graceful and their son.

Oh, yes, their son; his name is Peace Poet. He has short black hair, brown eyes, and has brown stripes. His cutie mark has a sky-blue symbol that's almost shaped like a phoenix, with a notebook on the right wing and the number two pencil on the left wing. Peace is a smart zebra and can write rhymes of poetry. He listens and studies music, especially hip-hop, even though the language is vulgar in the lyrics. Peace is also learning martial arts from his parents and their masters whenever they practice. He does have three best friends that are really good to him in school, and Peace is happy about that.

Peace is about to head out to go to school, as his mother spoke...

"Honey, you be careful at school, OK? I know that sometimes...", she didn't finish, as her son said with a smile...

"I'll be alright, Mama. I know that some of the other ponies and creatures pick on me for what I look like, but I'll be OK. Like Pop said, "Don't do nothin' stupid unless the start somethin' first.", Peace said, as Graceful gave her son a hug and Thunder put a hoof on his shoulder with a small smile.

"That's right, son. I know you can take care of yourself, but like me, Mama, and the masters said, don't be reckless. Wait for the moment for anyone to slip up. We love you, boy.", Thunder gave Peace a hug, as the zebra was heading out the door going to school.

The school wasn't far, so Peace walked to school, as he sees three ponies waiting for him. One was a green unicorn colt with eyeglasses, brown eyes, brown buzzcut and tail, and a couple of turntables as a cutie mark. The other was an Earth filly with long golden blonde mane and tail, baby blue eyes, and a gold heart cutie mark. The third is a black Pegasus filly with a long white mane and tail, purple eyes, and a silver cross as a cutie mark. The green unicorn colt greets him first.

"Hey, Peace! How are ya doin' bro?", the colt asked.

"Well, if I'll survive this week, Hyper Active, then I'll be good.", Peace said bitterly to Hyper Active, but not towards him. The Earth filly spoke.

"Peace, I understand that you're having a hard time with other ponies and creatures that have problems with zebras. But we don't! You're the first zebra that has a unicorn horn and has magic. I'd say that's a blessing.", she said, trying to comfort Peace, as he showed a small smile.

"See, this is why your name's Golden Heart, cuz ya know how ta make anyone feel better, and it worked. Sorry for my attitude, Hype. I know you, Goldie, and Glorious Miracle are trying your best to comfort me, and I appreciate it.", Peace said apologetically, as the black Pegasus filly Glorious Miracle spoke.

"Amigo, we're with you, and so are our families. They also don't know why those ponies and others hate zebras. Zebras have every right to be here in Manehattan and other parts of Equestria! To me, those who hate them are just...", Peace stopped the Pegasus' rant, as it was his turn to calm her down.

"OK, Glori, I get it. Chill! And it's now just you three and my parents that look out for me. It's Coco Pommel, Charity Kindheart, and other ponies and creatures look out for me, too. The others are just entitled to their opinions and illusions of my own kind. One day, it'll bite them in the flank.", Peace said with a proud smile, not caring on what other think about zebras, especially one with a horn. As they got closer to Stallion Island Elementary School, they entered through the doors, as some ponies and other creatures looked at Peace with stink eyes and disgust. Peace didn't let that get to him and walked on with his friends. A silver pony bumped into Peace and said...

"Watch it, stripe! You need to watch where you're going, freak.", he said, as Hype was about to say something, but Peace beat him to it.

"Oh, I'm so sorry for bumpin' into ya, good sir. I guess my zebra eyes couldn't see, cuz your expensive jewelry is so bright and flashy. And forgive me for not bowin' in respect for your prince-like aura, since you're not much like a true Royal like Princess Celestia.", Peace said sarcastically, as the colt, which is a Pegasus, charged at Peace quickly, as the horned zebra, without using magic, swiftly moved out of the flying colts way, as the colt stopped himself from hitting the wall.

"Temper, temper, Sling Shot. You should really calm down when startin' a fight. I mean, come on, you bein' humiliated by a "stripe" like me. How's that gonna look for your rep?", Peace asked with a smirk, as the colt was about to charge again, as Hype step up in front of Peace to face Sling Shot.

"So, hiding behind your friends again, huh? I knew you were a coward, stripe!", Hype was about to say something, but Peace tapped his shoulder and shook his head "no".

"Don't waste your breath, Hype. He loves to start somethin' ta get a "freak" in trouble. Teachers are bought by his family, anyway. Let's just go.", with a frustrated sigh, Hype nodded and he, Peace, Goldie, and Glori kept walking down the hallway.

Later on in the day, Peace was way in the back of the classroom working on a math paper quietly, not saying a word. There were no zebras in the classroom and some of the fillies and colts were talking bad about him in front of Peace, except one Earth filly. She had short blue mane and tail, blue eyes, a flower in her mane, and a light tan coat. She looked back at Peace with a sad smile mixed with worry. She truly felt bad for Peace and the rest of the zebras in the school for how they're treated. Some of the ponies threw crumpled papers at Peace, and the teacher just sat there not saying anything to stop them. Then, the door quickly opened, as a frantic Glorious Miracle called for Peace.

"Amigo! Aunt Gracie is in the hospital!", she yelled, as Peace's head rose quickly, eyes widened, and got up from his desk and ran to the door. But the teacher, a red stallion, brown eyes, and grey mane and tail got up from his desk and pushed Peace hard to the wall. Peace look up at the teacher, as he pushed Glori out of the classroom, close the door and locked it. All of the students, except the filly, who had the look of shock and fear, laughed at what happened to Peace. Peace shook off the pain and ran to the door again, but the teacher then punched the horned zebra knocking him out! That was when the filly had enough, as she threw a heavy book at the teacher in the face. She went to and unconscious Peace, pulled him by the tail with her teeth, unlocked the door, opened it, and put Peace on Glori's back, as they both ran away!

Fifteen minutes later, they made it to the hospital. The nurse led the filles, now with Hype and Goldie, and a still unconscious Peace on a gurney to him mom's room. Inside the room was his father Thunder Hammer, police officer Copper Top, and a tall white Alicorn with a flowing mane and tail with a mixture of pink, light green, aqua blue, and more amazing colors in her mane and tail. They saw Peace on a gurney, and Thunder was irate!

"Who did this? Who did THIS to my SON?!?!", the angry father said, as the filly, who was Coco Pommel, explain what happened with a shaken voice, as Glori and the nurse comfort her from Thunder's raging voice. Realizing what he did, Thunder took a deep breath and spoke calmy to Coco.

"I'm sorry for scarin' you, honey. I didn't mean ta take it out on ya. Me, Gracie, and Peace, especially Peace, has been goin' through a rough time with who or what he is.", Thunder said, as Coco began to cry and said...

"I'm really sorry for not saving your son, sir. And I'm sorry about your wife. Sling Shot's parents have paid the teachers to treat all zebras differently than ponies and other creatures. I hope your wife will be OK, sir.", Coco said with sobs. The white Alicorn, known as Princess Celestia, walked toward Coco with a gentle smile spoke.

"Be calm, my little pony. You did save Peace Poet from getting harsher treatment. Apparently, the mayor is not doing what I thought was best for the zebras in Manehattan, but I was wrong. Things will improve--", they all heard heavy breathing from Graceful Blessing, as they all quickly went towards the bed, as she let out a hoarse voice.

"...Peace... Is Peace...?, she tried to talk, but was so weak and pale, as Thunder held his wife's hoof and said...

"Baby, baby, don't talk. Peace is here, but...well...", Thunder wanted to tell Gracie, but she smiled with tears coming from her eyes.

"I know...Torque Blade...did it... Honey, I'm...sorry... Tell Peace...that I...love...him...", and with her last words, Graceful Blessing breathe her last breath to her husband. She was gone. Everypony in the room, except for an unconscious Peace Poet, cried silently of the mares passing. All the doctors could say were "I'm sorry" and "Our sincere condolences", as both doctors were also teary eyed. Now, they all looked at Peace, sleeping peacefully, not knowing that his mother passed away.

Two hours later, the little horned zebra slowly opened his eyes, and looked around. He sees his dad Thunder, Hype, Glori, Goldie, Coco, doctors BlueCross and BlueShield, Copper Top, and to his surprise, Princess Celestia. They were all relieved that the colt is awake, as he has a bandage on his head and one wrapped around his foreleg. Peace eye pupils shrunk, as he started to shake in fear.

"Mama... Where's Mama?", he asked, as his Pop hugged the colt, and said with a shaken voice...

"I'm so sorry, son. I'm so, very sorry.", as he apologized to his son, Peace's eyes welled up with tears and he wailed, knowing that his loving Mama was gone. He was too late, he didn't see he one last time, he didn't say his goodbye to her, Peace was not there to see his mother alive. It was truly heartbreaking to see a zebra colt lose the one that brought him in the world. Thunder softly spoke, as Peace's wailing came to a halt.

"Mama said...that she loves you so much, son. And I love you, too.", he said, as he sobbed a little. But it wasn't just sadness and loss that Thunder felt, it was anger, hatred, and rage. Copper Top saw the pissed off look on his face and started to worry.

"Thunder, this teacher Torque Blade, who is he to you?", with a huff, Thunder breaks the hug from with a smile and said...

"Son, Pop's gonna be right back, OK? Everypony's gonna be with you to take you to see Mama, OK? Pop's gotta talk to Copper for a minute. I'll be right behind y'all.", Peace slowly nodded, as the doctors, his friends, and Princess Celestia went with him to the other room to see his Mama. They all stopped and let Peace go in the room first to let him say goodbye to his mother. Tears came to his eyes again, as he walked closer to his Mama's lifeless body. The bed was lowered to his level, as he looked at the one he loved, the one that brought him in the world and started sobbing.

"I'm so, so, so sorry, Mama. It's my fault that you're sick, my fault that you're weak, my fault that I exist, my fault that I wasn't there for you. You don't have ta suffer anymore, Mama. I'm gonna become stronger, the right way. Physically, mentally, and emotionally, I'll become stronger, for you, my Pop, and my sister in heaven. I love you, Mama. Always and forever.", Peace said in a shaken, but calm voice, as he gives his mother, Graceful Blessing, a final kiss goodbye. He walked out of the room, as his friends gave Peace each big hug and kisses on the cheek and forehead from the fillies and Celestia. Peace saw Thunder talking to Copper Top and listened in.

"Torque Blade was one of the best security guards in Manehattan, until he beat a mare nearly to death for entering a concert without a ticket. I went to the hospital to check on her and she lived. And I found the concert ticket in her purse the whole damn time. Top, I'm not gonna lie, when I went to the police station and showed the cops the evidence, I wanted ta kill the bastard that hurt the mare so bad. The cops arrested him on the spot, but they didn't keep him in jail long, cuz his brother got him out a week later. Torque was fired from his job, but his brother, Spit Shine, the schools principal, hired him as the teacher. Me and Gracie was always worried about Peace goin' to that school with them there, but his friends, Celestia bless them, is there for him every day. We taught Peace how ta defend himself, but only to protect his friends. He's a good boy; a kind kid, but Peace is really bottled up inside, Cop. That son of a bitch of a teacher robbed my son a last goodbye to his Mama, and there's not a fuckin' thing I can do about! I wanna do somethin', but I don't wanna break the law!", Thunder said with much frustration. Then, Princess Celestia came around the corner.

"Thunder, I heard everything, and I know how you feel. I'll never forget when you won the Martial Arts Tournament four years ago, and your martial art styles are amazing. I do have a one question; would you like to join the Canterlot Royal Guard? Your skills and teachings would be useful if you're in the Guard. I won't force you to join. And if you refuse, I completely understand.", Celestia spoke, as Thunder was in thought.

"Wow! Don't get me wrong, Your Majesty, it's a dream come true ta be a Royal Guard. Gracie was one of the best when she was in the Guard as a Commander. She has better martial art skills than me, and even Peace has surpassed me in skill.", Thunder said with a smile, as he mentioned Peace. He was definitely proud of his son for training with him and Gracie. Copper Top had a thought of her own and show an evil grin.

"You know, Torque and his brother have been very shady, lately. And I think I know how to put them away for good, with your help, Thunder.", Copper said, as the blue unicorn was curious.

"How strong is Peace? And how skilled is he?", she asked the father of the zebra son.

"Well, Peace is a quick learner. Gracie and could hardly keep up with his speed and strength. And-- Ohhh... I got'cha, Cop. Say no more.", Thunder got what Copper was planning, as he looked at the princess with a grin of her own.

"I will be right at yours and Peace's side, Thunder. I'll bring Peace and his friends over.", Princess Celestia went to get Peace and his friends. Both Thunder and Copper hope the idea works. Peace sat on the floor and listened to his Pop.

"First off, son, I'm really sorry that you didn't get ta say goodbye to your Mama because of your teacher. Believe me, she was an angel to us both. Peace, I know ya studied hard in almost every martial art styles me and Mama taught ya. So, I wanna ask you, son. How do ya really feel about Torque Blade bein' your teacher?", as Thunder asked that question, Peace looked nervously about answering, as he looked at Princess Celestia and Copper Top. The princess gave Peace a sincere smile and said...

"It's OK, my little zebra. I know you're angry at Torque Blade. You can say what's honestly on your mind.", Celestia said with a motherly voice. Peace looked at Copper Top, as she, like the princess, also had a sincere smile.

"Peace, you have nothin' to worry about. Just let out your anger, kid. And don't worry, I won't arrest ya, either.", Copper said, as Peace pointed at an empty hospital room. They're thinking that Peace doesn't want to disrupt the hospital staff and patients, so they all went in the room and closed the door. No that every pony was inside, Peace took a deep breath and spoke.

"I truly hate Torque Blade, the principal Spit Shine, and some of the other teachers and students for lookin' at zebras differently. I... I always asked myself, "What did the zebras do wrong? Why is it only zebras that suffer the most? Why can't zebras find peace, friends, love, support? Just...why?!" I know it's not the right way ta think, everypony, but every time I see ponies and creatures givin' me and other zebras "those" looks, I wanna punch, kick, and throw them to the wall! But I don't wanna do that, cuz that's not how I was raised. Mama, Pop, and both of my martial arts teachers taught me ta be kind to others, but at that school, I just wanna let loose! I'm sorry for sayin' it that way, but that bully of a teacher robbed me of sayin' goodbye ta Mama. I'll be honest, I don't know how much of the bullyin' and harassment I can take!". Peace finished his rant and sobbed a little, as Thunder hugged his son to calm him down. Just then, Copper was on her walkie talkie and said...

"Did ya get that? OK, then let's get the plan rollin'. The captain said it was OK? Oh, he wanna see this happen, too. with pleasure, sir. I'll gladly tell 'em.", the police pony got off the radio with relief on her face and looked at Peace with a smile.

"Peace, I have a plan that you might like. I just spoke to my fellow officers, and they agree with my plan. But this is a one-time deal, buddy. Later this week, after we get a unicorn doctor ta heal ya, you'll get your wish. We'll let ya teach the teacher a lesson for what he did ta ya and for keepin' ya from sayin' goodbye to your mother. In other words, we want you, Peace Poet, ta embarrass him and the principal in front of every pony and creature.", Peace listened to what Copper said, as he had a smirk on his face.

"I'm gonna kill him. Not in "that" way, just his ego and pride. And I wanna do this after we bury Mama. And don't worry, Officer Copper, this will be the first and last time I'll do this. I may be the only zebra with a horn, but I try ta be smart like many adults.", Peace said with confidence. Hype Goldie, Glori, and Coco stood behind Peace with determination on their faces.

"We're with Peace on this too, Officer, Uncle Thunder, Your Highness. Peace is our friend, and we'll stand by him every step of the way! Our other friends Cheerilee and Coloratura are also supporting Peace." Goldie said, as Copper nodded in agreement. Then, Hype had an idea.

"Peace, you're a ryhmin' poet, a rapper, even. I've heard ya freestyle for a bit and Vinyl Scratch said if you want beats, her big brother Neon Lights will help you out. Uncle, Officer Copper, Your Highness, what do ya think?", Hype asked the adults, as Thunder Hammer smiled at the idea.

"Cop, Your Highness, my boy's really good at rhymin'. He's been listenin' ta old and new hip-hop songs, even rap battles, poems, and more. Peace has been studyin' all of that to rhyme and all he does is think up words. whether he speaks it or write it. Trust me, he makes me and Gracie feel better a hard day of work, even after what he's been through.", both Princess Celestial and Copper Top were both intrigued and curious by this and looked at Peace.

"I would love to see your skill, Peace Poet. Although, if you use foul language...", Peace shook his head and said...

"No need ta worry, Your Highness. Ya won't hear any cuss words outta me. I usually write and freestyle for fun, but after what happened today, I have a lot to say.", Peace said, as Copper Top nodded her head, as did Celestia, she said...

"We got'cha, kid. And I hope you'll show your other skills, too. Martial arts are part of our police programs.", Peace smiled at the support that's with him.

"OK, Peace will take off school for a week and come back on Monday. That'll be his final day at that school.", they all agreed, as Peace looked back at the room where his deceased mother is, as he thought...

"Mama, I know you don't like revenge, but just this one time, I wanna complete it for you, Pop, me, and all the zebras that were racially wronged. I hope you can forgive me, Mama. The principal and that scum of a teacher, along with the students who bullied me, I have three words for them: They. Will. Pay!", with a deep sigh, Peace now has a mission. And he must complete it on Monday.

The Zebracorn Enters Ponyville

A few years later...

A little town called Ponyville, filled with all races of ponies, donkeys, and a dragon. It looked quiet and peaceful...sometimes. That little town even had a castle that was almost as big as the town itself. It was called the Castle of Friendship, owned by the Princess of Friendship, Twilight Sparkle. But let's look at Ponyville Station, as a train was stopping there to drop off passengers. A pony-like being stepped off the train wearing a hooded cloak. He then went in the town of Ponyville to look for a restaurant to get something to eat. He sees a bakery called SugarCube Corner and headed there. He went inside and went to the counter, since there was no line, and met a pink Earth pony that smiled at him, and she asked...

"Hi! Welcome to SugarCube Corner! I'm Pinkie Pie, sir. How may I take your order?", she asked with a bubbly voice, as the figure answered with a smile of his own and said happily...

"Thank ya for the welcome, Ms. Pie. I'll have a Vanilla ice cream and a root beer, please. For here, of course.", he said nicely, as Pinkie said...

"Coming right up, sir! Oh, and what's your name? That way I'll write down who's order I'm bringing to.", she asked, and the figure answered politely.

"Peace Poet, Ms. Pie. How much would that be?", he asked, as Pinkie answered...

"That'll be fifteen bits, Peace Poet.", and Peace gave Pinkie the fifteen, plus five more bits. Pinkie was confused, as Peace answered.

"Those five bits are for the charity of the foal hospital here. Is that OK?", Peace asked, as Pinkie smiled sincerely.

"Of course! Thank you so much, Peace. Now, go have a seat and I'll bring your order.", Peace nodded, as he went to a table next to a window. He looked outside and saw three Diamond Dogs entering the bakery. One was a short French bulldog, the skinny one was a pit bull, and the taller muscular one is a bull mastiff. Peace's eyes narrowed, knowing that Diamond Dogs are up to no good. Even Dog Clans stay away from them. The ponies in the bakery were getting uncomfortable seeing the Diamond Dogs. Some got up to leave, but the big dog blocked the exit, as the ponies went back to their seats. Pinkie was about to go towards Peace's table with his order on the tray, but the skinny dog took the food, drinks Peace's root beer, and the short dog ate his ice cream. Peace saw that and got a little upset, which Pinkie had the same look he did.

"Hey, that order wasn't yours, Rover! And when are you really gonna pay for the last order? You owe us seven hundred bits! Plus, you're banned!", she yelled, as Rover and the other two laughed.

"Look, pony, I don't care what you say. We do what we Diamond Dogs want! And if you don't--"

"You're not gonna do nothin', mutt!", the Dogs, Pinkie, and the rest look to the source of the voice that yelled. It was an azure blue Pegasus mare with a rainbow-colored mane and tail. At the table with her is a butterscotch yellow Pegasus mare with a long pink mane and tail, and an orange Earth mare with blonde mane and tail and a Stetson hat. The only one that didn't look back was Peace, as he looked out the window again, and saw that every pony went inside.

"Hmmm... So, this happened before...", he thought, as he looked at the Diamond Dogs again. The taller dog spoke.

"Hey boss, you said if they give us trouble again, we'd trash this place again, right?", the buffed dog asked.

"That's right, Fido. And after that, we'll go to that white pony's boutique place and trash it, too! You up for it, Spot?", Rover asked the smaller dog Spot. The blue Pegasus was about to get up and fly towards them, but the orange mare stopped her bite grabbing her tail with her mouth.

"Now hold on there, Rainbow! I know how ya feel, but you'll just help them varmits ta wreck this place more.", the orange pony said with a southern accent.

"Plus, you fought with the Dogs months ago, and you almost broke your wing against them, especially with Fido.", said the yellow Pegasus with a soft voice. That when they heard this...

"Well then, I'll take 'em on. It'd be a shame if they wreck a great bakery.", it was Peace that spoke, as he got up from his seat and walking towards the Dogs. Rover laughed and asked...

"You wanna take us on, pony? YOU?! We are the Diamond Dogs, and--", Rover didn't finish his speech, as he was engulfed in a white magic field with the other two.

"Excuse me, everypony. Me and the mutts are gonna have a...chat.", Peace said the last word in a deep voice, as he took the Dogs outside of the store. The Dogs banged on the magical shield with their might, but to no avail. But Peace diminished the shield, as the Dogs fell on the ground. The K9 trio look at Peace and they were angry and embarrassed.

"You pony bastard! How dare you do that to us?!", Spot yelled, as Peace smirked at the Dogs.

I've met so many Dogs in my journey, but you three need a good rabies shot. Plus, y'all were rude to Ms. Pie and all the customers. And ya ate MY order! Many Dog Clans talked about Diamond Dogs bien' outcast, and they're still right.", Peace said with taunts, as Fido started to run towards him like a bull.

"I'M GONNA SMASH YOU APART AND HANG YOU WITH THAT CLOAK!!!!!", the large dog bellowed, as he went to Peace with a punch, but missed. Peace did NOT miss, though, as he elbowed Fido in the stomach. The muscle-bound pup fell on the ground passed out. Peace was now on his hind legs, as he looked at the other two Dogs that have shocked looks on his face. Other ponies were also in shock and amazed at the mysterious pony's reflexes. Peace saw the other two Dogs charging at him, as Rover and Spot rushed him together with punches and kicks. Peace was dodging them all with great speed. Peace did a lower swift kick on Spot's legs and punched Rover in the chest, as both fell to the ground. Peace was now on all fours and looked at both tired Dogs.

"And for your information, doggy...", he took off his hooded cloak and revealed his identity to everypony.

"I'm a zebracorn, ya douches! Now, get lost!", both Dogs got up quickly and picked up the unconscious Fido and ran away. Peace turned around and sees a lot of shocked faces. He went to get his cloak to put it back on, but a brown and white colt stopped him and spoke with a British accent.

"Sir, thank you for stopping the Diamond Dogs. You're very cool with the moves!", the colt said with a smile, as Peace smiled back.

"Thank ya for sayin' that, kid. My name's Peace Poet. What's yours?", Peace asked the colt nicely.

"Pipsqueak's the name. Nice to meet'cha!", Pipsqueak held out his hoof and Peace shook it in return.

"Nice ta meet'cha too, Pipsqueak. Well, I gotta go. Look like I caused trouble here. I'll go back and get my saddlebags and--", as Peace was about to go back in the bakery, a blue Earth pony with a pink mane and tail said "wait!" He looked at her with confusion, as she spoke.

"My name is Cup Cake, one of the owners of SugarCube Corner. Not only did you save our business, but you save the customers, as well.", she said with a sincere smile, as the rest of the ponies smiled, too.

"We want to remake your order, sir. And don't worry, it's on the house.", as she said that, Pinkie gave Peace his bits back, but he said...

"Put the rest of it in for the charity.", he said, as Pinkie nodded and ran back to the bakery to remake his order, as he and the rest also went back in. As they sat back in the store full of relief and ease, the pony Rainbow and both of her friends went to Peace's table.

" Excuse me, sir. You don't mind if we join you, do you?", Rainbow asked politely, as Peace nodded. She sat beside him, as the other two sat across them. Each of them introduced themselves.

"I'm Rainbow Dash, the fastest flyer in Equestria!", the blue Pegasus said, as Peace shook her hoof.

"Howdy, partner. Name's Applejack, and it's nice ta meet'cha!", the orange Earth pony said, as Peace also shook her hoof.

"Um, I'm Fluttershy. It's nice to meet you.", the yellow Pegasus said in a soft voice, and Peace gently shook her hoof.

"I'm Peace Poet. Nice ta meet y'all, too.", he introduced himself, as they now noticed his horn on his forehead. Seeing this, Applejack nudged Rainbow for staring.

"Sorry about that, Peace. It's the first time we ever seen a zebra with a horn.", Applejack apologized, as Peace chuckled, but wasn't upset.

"No problem; every pony and creature don't see a zebracorn every day.", he said, as Fluttershy asked...

"A zebracorn? Oh my! I heard of a zebracorn that used to live in Manehattan when he was born. Then, he moved to Canterlot with Princess Celestia to be his personal tutor. If you don't mind me asking, um...", that was when Peace politely interrupted the yellow Pegasus.

"Yup, that's me. After I turned eighteen, I went ta travel the world. Saddle Arabia, Trottingham, Pone Kong, Vanhoover, Japony, and much more. Though, I did get some jobs while I traveled. And I've heard about the Elements of Harmony, as you three, along with the other three, are the Bearers.", Peace said with a smirk, as the three ponies looked at him in shock that he knows that. Then, it clicked to Rainbow...

"Well, the news spreads fast when you save the world many times with awesomeness.", Rainbow bragged, while the other two rolled their eyes with a smile. Pinkie then came to their table and gave Peace his order. She apologized to Peace for a long wait, but he said sincerely...

"No need ta apologize, Ms. Pie. I was worried about how you're doin' after the Diamond Dogs came in.", he said with a hint of worry.

"I'm OK, but I'm glad you stood up for everypony here to them. And you can call me Pinkie.", she said, as Peace sighs in relief. Then, Mrs. Cake came to the table with another Earth pony. A yellow stallion with orange mane and tail, as they both have smiles on their faces.

"Sir, I'm Carrot Cake, and this is my wife Cup Cake. We're owners and bakers of SugarCube Corner. Thank you so much for saving our business. You can have anything you want here on us, including your order.", Carrot Cake said with a sincere smile, as Peace held up his hoof and said...

"Oh no, sir. I couldn't take advantage of y'all like that. The ice cream and root beer are just enough..." and then, Peace's stomach growls, as he blushed a little.

"...and add a few chocolate chip cookies with it, if you don't mind.", Peace said timidly, as Cup Cake said with a chuckle...

"Of course, sir. We'll bring them right out. Pinkie, you can take a break for a bit.", Pinkie nodded, as the owners went back in the kitchen to make the cookies for Peace. Applejack asked Peace a question.

"Padon me for askin', but do ya know which Element we have?", Peace nodded and answered.

"Well, yours is Honesty, Applejack, cuz ya tell the truth. Rainbow's Element is Loyalty, cuz from what I heard, she don't leave nopony hangin'", Rainbow puffs out her chest proudly, while the other three rolled their eyes with a smile.

"Pinkie's Element is Laughter. Even in rough times, ya just need laughter ta feel better for others and yourself.", Pinkie puts a red clown nose on her nose, as they laughed with her.

"Fluttershy's Element is Kindness. Be kind to others and they'll be kind to you, whether they like it or not.", Fluttershy smiled cutely at Peace at what he said.

"A pony Unicorn named Rarity is Generosity, and the Princess of Friendship, Twilight Sparkle, is Magic. I think that's all the Elements of Harmony, unless I missed a few." Peace said, as Rainbow put on her sunglasses and said...

"Dude, you're spot on! Some ponies and creatures get that wrong sometimes, but you got them right. But the way you fought them Dogs, you must have some real skills to fight like that.", Rainbow said with sparkles in her eyes.

"I have ta thank my martial arts teachers for that. I studied karate, judo, akido, and much more. I practice every mornin' and afternoons ta stay in shape, as long as I don't overexert myself.", Peace said, as Applejack spoke.

"That's all of us too, SugarCube. I do my stretches before workin' at the farm. You should come by sometimes at Sweet Apple Acres, as long as SOMEPONY don't drink all the cider.", the orange pony said with her eyes squinting at Rainbow, as she looked away whistling. Mrs. and Mr. Cake came back with the cookies to the table, as Peace took one and said...

"Thank ya very much. And thank you two and Pinkie for the great hospitality.", he said, as he took a bite of the cookie and said "delicious!" He also drank the root beer and ate the ice cream.

"Very delicious! I've tasted sweets that are good, but this right here is amazin'! I've heard of this bakery from one pony, and she was right about its bein' the best!", Peace said happily, as the Cakes and Pinkie smiled with accomplishment on their minds. Then, Fluttershy asked Peace a question.

"Um, do you like animals? I know it's a silly question, but...", before she says anything further, Peace went in one of his bags and brought out a picture of a puppy and a kitten and she, along with the rest at the table, said "aww" looking at the photo.

"I rescued them in Trottingham, fed them, played with them, and gave them ta good ponies to put them in a good home. The little colt and filly were brother and sister were jumpin' for joy like Hearths Warmin'. The parents were gonna pay me, but I told them ta just take care of the little ones like part of the fam. Pets are not just pets, they're part of the family.", Peace said, as Fluttershy's eyes started to well up with tears and smiled.

"That's how I treat Winona, our dog. Treat her like family full of love. Of course, Rainbow Dash loves her tortoise, Tank.", Applejack said with a grin towards Rainbow, as the blue mare blushes. Then, Pinkie asked Peace a question.

"So, what bring you to Ponyville? This is a great town, but...", Pinkie asked timidly, but Peace answered.

"Well, I thought I'd like a change of scenery. All of the other cities and towns I've traveled to are amazin', but I've heard many great things about Ponyville. Though, I'm from Manehattan, I thought I'd come here ta stay and live. Unless some oppose ta that...", Peace said bitterly, as the mares knew where this was going. Fluttershy said...

"I have no problem with you living here, Mr. Poet. So far, you're nice and kind, unlike those Diamond Dogs. I know we just met, but I think you're good.", she said kindly with a smile.

"She's right, dude. I'm not feeling any bad vibes from ya. And if anypony gives you any beef, come to me and I'll help!", Rainbow said.

"I'm with Dash on this one; I can tell you're honest and truthful. You can come ta me too for help, partner.", Applejack said.

"I'll help, too! Plus, I'll make a "Welcome to Ponyville, Peace Poet" party!", Pinkie said, as she threw confetti in te air, as Peace laughed.

"I'm cool with that. I saw a house near the castle bein' for sale. I might by it. Although, I have ta by furniture, and more stuff for it, but...", Applejack held up her hoof to Peace and said...

"We'll all help ya, partner. If ya want, we'll take ya ta Carousel Boutique where Rarity works, owns, and lives at.", she said, as Peace nodded in agreement. They all got up and left the store, which Pinkie told the Cakes that she's helping Peace with her friends, as they told her to go ahead. As they were walking down the street, they see a purple bat colt with brown mane and tail, brown eyes, and red wings. Peace recognized the colt that was in SugarCube Corner.

"Hey, buddy! I'm glad you're OK from. What's your name?", Peace asked politely, as the bat colt answered.

"I'm Fruity Fangs, sir. You were awesome with the Diamond Dogs! They don't bother me, since I whacked them with my stick when they try to take my mangos." Fruity said, as he puffed out his chest with pride. Fluttershy spoke and said...

"I know you can take care of yourself, Fruity, but the Dog could've really hurt you or worse. Please be careful next time, OK?", Fluttershy said to Fruity, as she gave him headpats. Fruity looked at the clock and said...

"Well, it's nice meeting you, sir.", Fruity said, as he and Peace gave each other a hoof bump.

"Just call me Peace, Fruity, and it's nice ta meet you, too.", Fruity smiled and galloped towards an arcade and waved back at Peace and the girls, as they waved back. They resumed to go where Rarity works and saw the white building that had a sign said, "Carousel Boutique". As they went inside, Peace looked at the clothes on the racks, and they looked amazing! When Rainbow ringed the bell on the counter, a white Unicorn mare with sapphire blue eyes, purple mane and tail in a curl, and a cutie mark that has three diamonds. The mare spoke.

"Oh, hello, darlings! I heard that the Diamond Dogs were at SugarCube Corner again. Is everypony alright?", she asked with worry in her voice.

"We're fine, Rarity. Actually, this zebra saved us from the Dogs.", Fluttershy answered, as Rarity looked at Peace. Her eyes sparkled, as she came from behind the counter for a closer look at Peace. She cleared her throat and spoke to the zebracorn.

"Hello, good sir. Welcome to Carousel Boutique, where every garment is chic, unique, and magnifique. My name is Rarity, and I thank you for saving everypony and my friends from those nasty Dogs.", Rarity finished introducing herself, as it was Peace's turn.

"I'm Peace Poet, Ms. Rarity, and it's nice ta meet you, too. I just did what I thought was right. There are dogs that I like, but Diamond Dogs don't have a sparkle around their bodies or hearts.", Peace said, while Rarity chuckled.

"A pleasure to meet you, Peace Poet. My, that's a fabulous black cloak, and it has silver stitches in it. May I ask where you get this?", Rarity asked, as Peace answered.

"I got it from Ponykyo, Japony. It was expensive, but luckily, I had good jobs for a while ta get it. I was just travelin' the world for a few years to see the real world up close.", Peace said, as Rarity was amazed at how far he traveled, even Rainbow, Applejack, Fluttershy, and Pinkie had the same look the white Unicorn has.

"Oh, and before you ask, I'm originally from Stallion Island, Manehattan. My childhood... Was not pleasant.", Peace said bitterly, as to how he was treated back then. The mares can tell that he was treated badly. Pinkie broke the silence and said...

"Maybe some clothes can cheer you up, Peace! You might wanna go to the Grand Galloping Gala in Canterlot, or any events.", the mood brightened at what Pinkie said, which Applejack spoke.

"Say Rares, how 'bout gettin' Peace some clothes, huh? His robe is nice, but he could use some new stuff. That's one reason why we're here.", the orange Earth mare said, as Rarity caught on what she meant.

"I take it the cloak is your only clothing you have? Well, look no further, darling! I have plenty of what you need. I just need your measurements, so your clothes will fit you just right and comfortable.", Rarity went to the back, as the rest of the girls went with her. It was 20 minutes of getting the clothes Peace wanted. When he got measured, each of the girls were amazed by his body tone. Not too muscular, but he has been working out.

"I do hate to be rude, but you certainly have one of the best shape and physique of any pony!", Rarity said with a blush, as did Fluttershy and Pinkie that are blushing.

"Well, I gotta stay in shape and keep trainin' in martial arts. It's not easy stayin' in shape, though.", Peace said honestly.

"Yeah, Training is no joke, especially in the Wonderbolts. Pushups and pull ups with your wings aren't easy, but it makes ya feel better and stronger. Though, I don't wanna overexert myself.", Rainbow Dash said.

"I agree, Rainbow. Trainin' can't be tough sometimes, but don't overdo it to a degree that ya get disabled.", Applejack stated, as Peace nodded in agreement. As time went by, Peace got his clothes ordered, as Rarity wrote down the due date when the clothes will be ready. Peace reached in his bag for bits, but Rarity held out her hoof.

"No, no, darling, I insist. A new friend of my friends is a friend of mine. Your wardrobe will be ready in a few weeks, so it'll take time." she said with Generosity, as Peace smiled at her and said...

"Take your time, Rarity. I'm in no rush ta get my clothes.", Peace said sincerely, as Rarity admired his patience.

"Wonderful! Now, as much as I want to go with you all, I have a business to run. Be sure to say hi to Twilight, Spike, and Starlight for me!", Rarity said, as Peace and the girls said their goodbyes and went to the exit. But Peace turned around and said...

"Thank you, Rarity, for helpin' me with the clothes.", and Peace went out the door and closed it.

"My pleasure, darling Peace Poet.", Rarity said with a smile. Peace and the girls were at the front door of the Castle of Friendship. Pinkie knocked on the door with her looped bang (don't question it, it's Pinkie). The door opened and they all see a light lavender Unicorn mare with a purple mane and tail with a mint green streak. She spoke and greeted the girls.

"Rainbow, Pinkie, Fluttershy, Applejack, hi! How are you?", she greeted happily.

"Oh, we're doing fine, Starlight. We were showing our new friend a tour of Ponyville, but we figured we came to see you, Twilight, and Spike first.", the Unicorn sees the Zebracorn and looks at him with amazement. Then shook herself, as she introduced herself.

"Oh, excuse me. I'm Starlight Glimmer. Pupil and friend of Princess Twilight Sparkle.", then it was Peace's turn.

"I'm Peace Poet, and it's nice ta meet'cha, too.", he said, as Peace and Starlight shook hooves. They all went inside, as Peace looked inside the castle in awe. It looks amazing too him with all sorts of crystals, pictures on the walls, stained glass windows, and more. They all entered a room with a round table, and it had seven seats, which one was a throne. There were two figures sitting in their seats; one purple and green baby dragon and a lavender Alicorn with navy blue mane and tail with a pink streak. Starlight spoke to break the silence.

"Twilight, we have guest.", the Alicorn looked up and saw the girls first and greeted them.

"Hi, girls! How are you--", she stopped and just looked shocked. The dragon was worried.

"Twi, are you--", he stopped, as well. They were both looking at the zebracorn, as Peace was starting to get a little nervous. They both got up from their seats, as the Alicorn spoke at Fluttershy's timid level.

"Peace Poet...?", she asked in a whisper.

"Is that really you?", then, the dragon asked, as Peace chuckled nervously.

"Yeah, it's me.", he confirmed, and tears welled up in both of the dragon's and Alicorn's eyes, and both smiled. The dragon ran to Peace and gave him a hug, as Peace hugged him back.

"I...I missed you so much, bro.", the dragon said with his voice breaking.

"Missed you too, Spike.", they both broke the hug, as Peace looked at Twilight. Tears flowing from her eyes with a wrinkled smile, Peace opened his arms, as she ran towards him and hugged him.

"I missed you, Peace, so much.", she said, also with a breaking voice. As they broke the bug, Peace kneeled to the princess and bowed his head.

"Greetin's, Princess Twilight Sparkle.", she chuckled, as she said...

"Please rise, Peace. No need to be formal. Just Twilight, Twily, or Twi will do. That's what you used to call me back then when you lived in Celestia's castle.", she said, as that comment shocked the others.

"Whoa, whoa, whoa! You lived in Celestia's castle?! I thought you were kidding!", Rainbow said half-yelled. Peace just nodded in confirmation.

"Even I knew he was tellin' the truth, Rainbow. Plus, he's been honest.", Applejack said with a smug, as Dash stuck her tongue out at her. Peace did get up, as Twilight showed him around the castle. The Cutie Map, the kitchen, bedrooms, balconies, and much more Twilight, Starlight, and Spike showed Peace in the castle, as he said...

"It took me half a year ta find every room in Celestia's castle when I moved there. Luckily, I know every room now. But Twilight, your castle is beautiful! It's like the Crystal Empire, just smaller.", Peace stated honestly, as Twilight smiled.

"Thank you, Peace. Me, Spike, and Starlight took almost a month to find all the room in here, too. Even Spike had a hard time not eating the castle.", Twilight said, as she squinted her eyes at Spike.

"Oh, come on! I only ate a little bit of it, and then it got stale for a week. Even some crystals taste different.", Spike protested, as Peace chuckled.

"It's true for dragons that crystals can get stale from time to time. They'll still glitter, but the taste will be different after a long time. It really depends on what gem a dragon likes.", all were astounded by Peace's knowledge of dragons, and even Spike was amazed! Pinkie gasped and asked...

"Have you met many dragons on your journey?", the party pony asked.

"There were some that I met in Manehattan in school. And no, they were not friendly ta me. Other ponies, yeah, but not zebras.", Peace said in a bitter tone, as Twilight took a few steps forward and bowed to him. Peace was confused, as Twilight spoke regally

"And the ponies in Celestia's castle were just as bad as the ones in your school, and I'm ashamed of myself that I didn't stop them. This may not be a good excuse, but I didn't know how to make friends back then, except Spike was my first friend and assistant to help me eat and sleep while studying under Princess Celestia. When me and Spike came to Ponyville, we met five great ponies that became my friends, and I thank Celestia for sending me to this place, as I go on amazing adventures with the girls.", the girls smiled, as tears welled up in their eyes. Twilight continued.

"Then I met Starlight Glimmer that also had a similar situation, but more complicated...", Starlight cringed a bit, as the Princess of Friendship continued.

Then there's another pony that had problems making friends back then, but she's doing well now in another world.", Twilight said remembering another pony, as Peace spoke.

"Sunset Shimmer, right? I already know about the "mirror" at the castle. I never went through it, but I heard about it. Celestia told me not ta go near it, and I haven't. Whatever's on the other side of the mirror, I'll let either you or Celestia show me one day.", he said, as Twilight and Spike was surprised that Peace known about the mirror, but Twilight smile sadly, as she continued her thoughts.

"Either way, I should've helped you when you were in trouble from the ponies that are prejudice against zebras. And for that, I'm truly and sincerely sorry, and I hope that...", a hoof gently lifted her chin to raise Twilight's head, as she looked at Peace. The zebracorn smiled with sincerity on his face, as Twilight had tears in her eyes.

"Twilight, it's OK; there was nothin' you or anypony could've done back then. Plus, I've dealt with ponies like that all the time. It was hard for me not ta retaliate, but I've learned that ponies like them are not worth my time. You've done nothin' wrong back then, Twilight. If ya did intervene, it would've been really bad or worse. So, don't worry about what happened back then and focus on the present.", Peace's words calmed Twilight with his soothing and caring voice, as Twilight hugged him tight, as he hugged back for a moment. The girls smiled, seeing that Twilight's worries were lifted from her shoulders. Then, she looked at Spike and Starlight and asked...

"How would you two like to help me and the girls show Peace more of the tour of Ponyville?", she asked, and both nodded, as they all headed to the exit. Rainbow asked Peace...

"So, what type of house would ya like here?", she asked.

"Well, just a normal house. Maybe a fixer upper.", Peace said, as Twilight asked...

"You come to stay and live here in Ponyville? Well, while we take a tour, we'll show you some homes around that maybe you'll like.", Peace nodded in agreement.

"I like that. Y'all lead the way!", he said, as Peace Poet, Princess Twilight Sparkle, Spike, Starlight Glimmer, Fluttershy, Rainbow Dash, Applejack, and Pinkie Pie exit the Castle of Friendship and went on more of a tour of Ponyville to show The Zebracorn.

A Canterlot Reunion

Princess Twilight Sparkle, Spike, and the rest of the girls, with Rarity tagging along closing her store for the day, showed Peace Poet around Ponyville. The town has great stores and houses, which they stopped by City Hall to see Mayor Mare for a house. Peace got one that's on top of a hill, which is a large antique house with plenty of space inside, including a basement and attic for extra stuff to get, and it has a large front and backyards. Plus, it has a great view of the town, Canterlot Castle, mountains, Cloudsdale. and beyond. Peace did pay for the house, as it was the right price. They went to look at it, and it was in good shape on the outside.

"One pony sold the house just a couple of days ago, so it's been taken care of.", Starlight said, as Peace opened the door. It was silver and gray on the inside. The stairs were white, the floor was marble, the living room, bedrooms, and dens still had furniture in the house.

"Well, whoever this pony was, paid a lot ta make this home look like a mansion. Mayor Mare even said this house got a basement, too! Let's go down to the basement and see what they did.", Peace said, as he opened the door, and they all went down to the basement. Rainbow found the light switch and they saw a pool table, a drinking bar, a couple of couches, recliners, and a 100-inch TV on the wall. Then, Peace had an idea with a smirk on his face, and finally recognized whose house this used to belong to.

"I've been here before; yeah, I had ta...", Peace looked for a clue, which had Twilight and the rest confused. Then, Peace found a piece of paper and saw the name of the former owner of the house they're in and smiled nostalgically.

"Sun Streak used ta own this house. I used to come here once or twice, cuz Midnight wanted me and Pop ta hang out and chill. I was about 14 when I was comin' here.", Peace said, still smiling thinking about his friend and mom.

"Wait, you know Sun Streak, leader of the Cloudsdale Weather Team and her daughter Midnight Arrow, which is the Lieutenant of the Canterlot Royal Guard?!", Rainbow asked in shock and excitement, as she had stars in her eyes. What Peace heard about Midnight had him intrigued and proud.

"Damn! She made Lieutenant, huh? I knew she'd make it. She musta worked real hard ta get where she is. Wonder how she and the rest of the fam are doin'? Hmmm...", Peace asked while smiling, except his smile is somber, as he misses his friends while he's been away. Spike spoke and said...

"Well, from what I heard, Midnight and her family are at Canterlot today for lunch with Princesses Celestia and Luna.", Peace thought about stopping at Canterlot next, and he said...

"You know what? Let's go! Canterlot was gonna be my next stop after this. Y'all wanna come with? I mean, if ya have work ta do, I won't force ya to come with.", Peace asked sincerely, not wanting to force his new friends to join him to go to Canterlot.

"As much as I wanna join y'all, I gotta get back to the farm ta help Granny and Big Mac deliver some apples. Apologies, Peace.", Applejack apologized, but Peace nodded in understanding.

"Sorry, darling, but I must go back to the shop to make more orders.", Rarity said.

"Unfortunately, I have to train some newbies at the Wonderbolt Academy. Sorry, bro.", Dash said.

Um, I'm sorry, but I have to go help Dr. Fauna with Harry. He sprained his paw playing with Angel, my bunny.", Fluttershy said.

"I do have delivery to Canterlot, but the customer said he was coming to Ponyville to get it. I'm sorry.", Pinkie said, as her mane and tail deflated a bit and looked down in shame. Peace lifted her head gently and looked at her with a smile.

"Like I said, I won't force y'all, and I understand. I'm just goin' there for a little visit and see how everypony's doin'.", Peace said, as Pinkie's mane and tail poofed back to normal with a smiling squee, as Spike wrote a letter to Princess Celestia, but Peace told Spike to not mention him in the letter, as Peace wants it to be a surprise. Less than two minutes later, a Royal Coach with Pegasus Guards came in front of the house, as Twilight, Spike, Peace, and Starlight all entered the coach and ascend to the cloud, as they waved goodbye to the rest of the crew.

Seven minutes later, they arrived and landed in front of Canterlot Castle with two Guards in front of the giant doors. The Guards opened the coach door and let everyone off. Then, a middle aged, but young looking, Unicorn mare with shoulder length light brown mane, blue eyes, brown coat, wearing a blue business suit, as she welcomed the guest.

"Welcome back to the castle, Princess Twilight Sparkle, Spike, and...", the Royal Advisor looked at the Zebracorn with a gasp, as she recognized Peace and he greeted her with smile.

"Peace Poet... Is that you...?", tears flowed from her eyes, as Peace answered along with a nod.

"Yeah, it's me, Flowing Leaf.", without hesitation, she ran to hug Peace, as he embraced her in return. Afterhalf a minute, they broke the embrace and looked at each other. Flowing Leaf had a wrinkled smile on her face while sobbing and laughing softly.

"Wow! You really are a Royal Advisor for Celestia and Luna, huh? I'm really glad.", Peace said with relief.

"It's all thanks to you and my son Hype for telling Princess Celestia about me. My last job was...was...", Flowing was about to shake fearfully, as Peace calmed her down.

"I know, I know, but let's not think about your last job. No need ta bring back horrible memories. I'm sorry about what happened back then, but Mama and Pop saved you and you fam from "that". Me and Hype promised that you'd never see that happenin' to you ever again.", Peace said, as Flowing calmed down and wiped away her tears. She smiled at him, as Twilight and Spike smiled silently seeing that Peace was still the same being they remembered.

"Oh! I'm so sorry, Princess Twilight. Come right in.", Flowing apologized to Twilight for the delay, as the Princess of Friendship waved and smiled sincerely, as they all went in the castle. In the hallways, the Royal Guards all bowed to Twilight and Spike. Some of them recognized Peace with a smile and welcoming him back to Canterlot. The Guards hoof bumped and hugged him as a welcome back, and Peace returned all that back. As Flowing Leaf brought them to the guest room, they see Princesses Celestia and Luna, Peace's father Thunder Hammer, Midnight Arrow, Hyper Active, Golden Heart, and Glorious Miracle sitting and chatting away. Flowing cleared her voice and said...

"You Highnesses, we have more guest.", They all looked to see Twilight and Spike in front of Peace.

"Twilight, Spike, what a wonderful--", Princess Celestia's greeting was interrupted by a smiling zebracorn behind the purple Alicorn and dragon. It was dead silent, as everyone was looking at Peace, as he spoke.

"Um, hi... I'm back.", he said, as he was tackled by a dark blue missile that was Midnight, that gave him a hug first.

"Welcome back, my friend.", Midnight said with tears rolling down her cheeks with a smile.

It's good ta be back, my friend.", Peace said, as they broke the embrace. Then, they saw Thunder and Celestia walking towards Peace and Midnight, as the blue Pegasus moved back from Peace. Thunder was the first to hug his son.

"My boy, my strong and sweet boy. I hope you've been well.", Thunder said, as he let Peace go.

"I have, and I hope you have too, Pop.", Peace said, as his father nodded. Celestia finally went in to give Peace a hug, as did Glorious Miracle, Golden Heart, and Hyper Active. Then, Peace looked at Princess Luna, as she smiled at him warmly, as did he.

"Peace Poet, it is nice to finally meet you, my nephew.", Luna said, as she hugged Peace.

"You, as well, Auntie Luna.", Peace said, as Luna made a little squeal and hugged him tighter but released him. Golden Heart spoke...

"Wow, you've really have changed, Peace. I knew you were calm here, but you look a lot calmer now.", she said, as she and her friends looked at his physique. Peace has a little muscle, but still on the slim side.

"Bro, you must've been trainin' on your journey a lot! You look a lot stronger, too.", Hyper Active said.

"Yeah, I've been trainin', and learned a lot more martial art skills, too. I even stay at Horshaolin Temple for two years.", when Peace said that Glorious Miracle asked...

"Amigo, was the training hard for you there? I heard that the Horshaolin Temple was strict.", she said.

"Yeah, the teachers were very strict, but kind and helpful. Not only did I learn from the teachers, but I also sparred with them. And in two hard months, I beat one of them.", gasp was heard from all the ponies and dragon in the room, as Luna broke the silence.

"So, who is this master that you've beaten?", the Alicorn of the Night asked, as Peace gave her the answer.

"The master whom I have a lot of respect for... Zen Hoof.", another gasp was heard, and this time, from Celestia, Luna, and Thunder.

"But how?... It took me and my sister fifteen years to beat our master Starswirl the Bearded!", Celestia said half yelled while in shock. She circled around Peace to get a better look at him.

"Peace, your physical features are not like Rockhoof or anypony with a muscular physique.", Flowing Leaf said, as she too looked at Peace.

"I know, but I wanna stay a little slim ta move quicker. Plus, I do know how ta do the teleportation magic; you can get there quickly. But what Zen Hoof taught me...", Peace vanished and reappeared beside Spike behind everypony.

"Makes great efforts of hard trainin' paid off good.", Peace said, as Spike and everypony else were in shock of Peace's new abilities. Midnight's eyes widen at Peace for how much he has changed on his journey since he left.

"Peace, just how many martial art skills have you mastered?", the dark blue Pegasus asked.

"Almost all of them; there are still a few I have ta learn.", Peace said honestly, as Midnight smirked.

"Then you have to spar with me one day, so I can see how you fair.", Midnight stated, as Peace grinned and nodded. Glori then asked...

"Have you been to Manehattan on your journey, amigo? I know that going back there has been...", she didn't finish, as Peace shook his head.

"I haven't been there yet, but maybe one day...", he said with a sad smile remembering what happened back then, as did the rest in the room. Then, Peace looked at his childhood friends.

"So, what's new for y'all three?", Peace asked, as Goldie spoke.

"Well, as you know in your letter I wrote to you, me and Hype are engaged. And we live in Las Pegasus, as Hype is a DJ there for many shows, and I sing with him on stage. We're doing great, but it hasn't been the same without you, Peace. HOOF-STARR isn't the same without you.", she said sadly, as Hype put her arm around her.

"Look, bro, I know you've been searchin' for yourself, but we were wondering for old times' sake. Would'ja be our front zebra again? We miss you rhymin' your flank off on stage.", Hype asked, hoping that Peace would return. But Peace had a smile of determination on his face.

"No need ta ask, bruh. One, I made a lot, I repeat, a LOT of rhymes I wrote down on my journey from what I've seen in many places. Two, I've seen y'all perform on stage, and you two are doin' great without me. One time, I watched on the screen in Trottingham, y'all played one of our songs when we were in our teens those years ago. I thought ta myself, "Peace, one day when ya go back, you're gonna help your group reach ta new heights." So, to answer your question, I'll be glad ta come back. And since I heard that Glori's the manager, I'm definitely in, son!", Peace said, as both Glori and Goldie gave the Zebracorn a big hug cheering. Hype joined in to give Peace a bro hug, as HOOF-STARR is back as a whole again. As the group broke the hug, Peace asked a question to Celestia and Luna.

"So, where's your "beloved" nephew?", Peace asked with a hint of sarcasm. This made Luna huff in disgust and Celestia sighed sadly.

"Blueblood's away on business in Saddle Arabia. He's been gone for a week now. Needless to say, he's been abusing his power since you left years ago.", the Sun Princess said looking disappointed.

"His mother forced us to look after Blueblood, and his stepfather, bless his soul, has moved to Vanhoover since the divorce.", Luna said bitterly. Peace liked Blueblood's father, just as Thunder Hammer liked him as a brother.

"'Bout time he divorced her. She spoiled Blueblood rotten. I didn't like her, either, cuz she disrespected Mama for being a poor zebra. And let's just say that I still have a grudge against her about that.", Peace said with venom in a low voice. Everyone understood Peace's loathing of Blueblood's family, except the father. As he cleared his throat, he asked...

"Would y'all like ta come ta my new home to look at it? I thought I'd show it to ya. And don't worry, Midnight, I'll take good care of it the best I can.", Peace asked, as every pony and dragon all agreed, Midnight said...

"We accept, Peace. Welcome back.", she said, as Celestia and Luna ordered their Guards to bring the carriages to go to Ponyville and see Peace's new home.

Well, this took a while to make, but it's done. Sorry for the long wait, but I hope you like the chapter. The ponies and dragon will go to Peace's house in the next chapter. Will they approve of The Zebracorn's new home? Find out in the next chapter.

A Rhyme in Ponyville's Time

It's been three days since Peace Poet, a zebracorn, has started living in Ponyville. And he has a job as a carriage and cart mechanic with his boss Axle Grease, a grayish brown Pegasus stallion with a sliver buzz-cut. Peace did show the house to Princesses Celestia and Luna, along with the rest that came with him that day, along with Hyper Active's mother, Flowing Leaf. Princess Twilight Sparkle and her friends helped Peace with more stuff for the house, as he promised that he'll pay each of them back. Each of them had Rarity's generosity and said not to worry about the payment. Hyper Active, Golden Heart, and Glorious Miracle all went back to Las Pegasus, as Hype promised Peace that he'll make more beats for him to rap to on their next visit. Midnight Arrow went on a trip for a week but told Peace that she'll be back to hang with him soon. Today, Peace was finishing up a broken wooden wheel of Granny Smith's delivery wagon, as she and Applejack are at his new job, The Shaggin' Wagon Shop.

"There ya go, Granny, AJ. It's good as new.", Peace said, as he just finished fixing the wagon wheel. Granny went to her purse to get her bag, but Peace stopped her.

"Don't worry, Granny, I got it covered.", Peace assured her, as he gave Axel Grease, his boss, the bits for the repairs. Axle was amazed at Peace's generosity, and gave Peace a smile, as he went in the office. Granny Smith smiled, as Big Mac came out from the office.

"Peace, tank ya kindly fer payin'. But are ya sure? We Apples sell many apples in all of Equestria and beyond.", Granny asked with worry, but Peace gave her and Big Mac a smile and said...

"Not ta worry; I've been workin' a few jobs while on my travels. Think of it as a thank you for the apples y'all gave me for comin' ta Ponyville.", Peace said, as Granny nodded sincerely, and she and Big Mac smiled. They both took their wagon back to Sweet Apple Acres to get ready for another apple delivery. Axle Grease came out of his office and spoke to Peace.

"Sure does take me back in Manehattan with that much kindness, son. You're doin' great work here, Peace. Thunder would be proud of what'cha doin' here.", Axle said to Peace.

"Well, I didn't know ya had a shop here, Axle. When Twilight told me about it, I just told her that you're one of Pop's great friends that help me and the fam out.", Peace said, as Axle gave him a sad smile.

"Yeah, I just felt bad the Grace passed away. I was visitin' my sister in Cloudsdale. Again, Peace, I'm sorry I couldn't make it ta the funeral, but I sent you and Thunder bits and condolences.", Axle said sadly, as Peace pat his back and said...

"It's all good, Axle. Not everypony could make it ta Mama's funeral. And I know your sister was sick from school that day while both your parents were workin' at the Crystal Empire, which is a long way.", Peace said with a sad smile, thinking about Axle's little sister.

"Yeah, and she thought a lot about ya, too. It's a shame you both went ta different schools. Pearl Shine's now lives in Hoov'aii in the Navy. She's a strong Pegasus like Rainbow Dash.", Axle said proudly, as he and Peace looked at a picture of Pearl in her Wonderbolt uniform. She has lavender eyes, a white coat, and short black hair and long tail.

"Last time I saw her was in Canterlot a day before I left. She still writes ta me this day to see how I'm doin'. She even told me that she hopes you're not workin' me too hard, which I told her you're not.", Peace said and chuckled, as Axle smiled and rolled his eyes at what his sister said.

"Well, anyways, are ya still goin' ta DJ PON3's radio station for an interview? I heard you're back with your friends in the group HOOF-STARR.", Axle asked with a hint of hope.

"Yeah, I'm back with them. Been far too long for rhymin' with beats while travelin' the world. Well, I'm gonna go there now. See ya tomorrow!", Peace said, as he said goodbye to Axle heading to the radio station WPNY. As he got there, Peace met one of his friends he's known in Canterlot as a teen zebracorn, Vinyl Scratch, aka, DJ PON3.

"Peace! It's been so long since Canterlot, man. How ya been, bro?", Vinyl asked happily.

"Glad ta see ya too, Vy. You've been makin' some good beats yourself. Even got Octavia on some of your songs, which is really good.", Peace said, as Vinyl got her record with instrumental beats from the shelf with her magic. She asked Peace some questions about an upcoming HOOF-STARR album, as he gave her an honest answer.

"It'll be in a month or two, as Hype's busy makin' beats for other artists that's been around for a while and upcomin'. I got me a little studio booth in my house, and Hype sent me some of his beats ta put my rhymes on for my spare time.", Peace said, as Vinyl nodded.

Cool! Peace, I know you've been all over the world beyond Equestria and definitely wrote a lot of rhymes for the HOOF-STARR album and maybe your solo album... You are gonna make your solo album, are ya?", Vinyl asked with hope, as Peace answered.

"Of course! I'm even gonna put one of my songs on the new HOOF-STARR album, as well. Sapphire Shores, Coloratura, Songbird Serenade, and many more are gonna be on both albums. So I appreciate your hard work.", Peace complemented, making Vinyl blush.

"Sure thing, bro! You, Hype, Goldie, Gloria, me, Tavi, we go way back when we use to hang out and you and Hype freestyle for us during school breaks. Speaking of freestyle...", when Vinyl made that suggestion, Peace smirked.

"Ya know I'm ready for one, By. No need ta ask.", Peace put on some headphones on his ears, as Vinyl put the record on the turntable. As it was live, she said...

"OK, what up to all the ponies, zebras, dragons, griffons, kirins, and many more out there! I have a little somethin' for y'all. I hope y'all are ready.", after that, Peace started his freestyle.

"Oh my gosh! Who would've guessed?
That I'd beblessed by DJ PON3 and the rest?
Ponyville, the best little town in Equestria
Not far from Princesses Luna and Celestia

Do I have bars? Ya better believe it
Poem so hot, the Wonderbolts go supersonic ta heat seek it
Rainbow Dash and Spitfire would be the first
To seek in seconds, leavin' Wind Rider behind while he curses

Shoutout ta the Wonderbolts for bein' cool
Showin' me around Cloudsdale where Pegasi rule
Rumble gave me the best brownie fudge
And brother Thunderlane thunder kicked disgraced dragon Sludge

Ember, Spike, and Smolder are the truest dragons
Made Sludge tap out in wrestlin', with his tail still saggin'
To Sludge, he's a wanna-be dragon that can't break marble
He can't even perform a Drago Claw like Garble..."

Peace stops his freestyle for a moment, as he said...

"I wanna do a rhyme about what I've been through on here.", Vinyl nodded and puts on a different beat, as Peace continued his freestyle.

"Zebras know the struggles in Manehattan
And to those who put me through hell knows what happen
I fought, struggled, and beaten the odds
Y'all hatin' on me for havin' magical mods

"Stripes need ta know their place!"
Think y'all are above those of a different race?
Puttin' those down when they're weak
But when they do better than you without violence, their confidence peaked

As I speak for not just zebras, but for many
That were bullied by the ones that don't have any common sense
Being high and mighty with minds like a dense fog
I've seen those that are looked down by family pet dogs

Look, I worked hard to be who I am
To those who don't understand, I don't give a damn
If ya had remorse, it's severely difficult to forgive
Y'all don't know how hard me and Pops lived

But thanks to Princess Celestia and her crew
I've seen Equestria with a lot of better views
Though, some views are still tainted by hate and prejudice
Other views are calm and full of bliss

Yeah, I'm a zebracorn
From Stallion Island, Manehattan, where I was born
To Graceful Blessing and Thunder Hammer, the ponies who gave me life
I'm doin' my best to make y'all proud in a positive strife!"

Peace was done with his freestyle, and Vinyl was amazed at his performance. She looked at her phone and saw that Peace's freestyle was getting more than one hundred thousand views and counting on PonyTube.

"Bruh! Your rhymes were fire, man! Even other rap groups are liking that freestyle. I'm glad ta hear you rhyme again, Peace.", Vinyl said, as Peace bowed to her.

"It's been a while since I've been on the mic, and I thank ya for havin' me on here. Ta all the HOOF-STARR fans, we're back, y'all!", Peace exclaimed, as Vinyl signs off the air and they both took off their headphones. Vinyl gave Peace a hug.

"You and HOOF-STARR are gonna take Equestria and the whole world by storm. I'm rootin' for ya.", Vinyl said, as she let Peace go.

"Yeah, and you're still takin' it by storm, too. I hope you'll continue ta do so. Thanks again for havin' me, Vy. See ya later.", he said, as Peace exits the radio station. Peace had this thought.

"Vy said that Octavia was in Trottingham making background music for a play. I hope she's doin' well.", as he finished his thought, Peace was tackled by a pink missile that's Pinkie Pie.

"You. Were. AWESOME!!!! We heard you on the radio!", Pinkie said excitedly, as Peace looked up while lying on the ground. He sees Pinkie, then Twilight, Spike, Rarity, Rainbow, Fluttershy, Applejack, and Starlight. They all had happy and proud smiles on their faces.

"Well, I guess y'all want an autograph?", they all had papers and parchment for Peace to sign, as he laughed.

Back in Canterlot, Princesses Celetia and Luna were also smiling proudly at Peace's performance, but no one was more prouder than Thunder Hammer. The father of the zebracorn said...

"I'm glad to hear ya doin' that again, son."

Poetic Retaliation With Justice

A few days after Graceful Blessing, Peace Poet's mother and Thunder Hammer's wife, passed away of cancer. The funeral was amazing; Princess Celestia, the Canterlot Royal Guard, and some of the Manehattan Police Department, along with Copper Top, who knew Peace's family like family. Hyper Active, Golden Heart, Glorious Miracle, Coco Pommel, Coloratura, Cheerilee, and many more students/friends of Peace from Stallion Island Elementary School came to pay respects and be there for their friend for comfort and support. Peace was happy for everypony's support and respect to him and his family. He did cry at the funeral, but Peace stayed calm and strong for those at the funeral. Thunder has been looking at Peace since after Gracie died and is worried for his son's well-being. All he can do is hope that Peace goes on the right path in his life.

Days go by, as it was Monday. The day Peace returned to school, but the thing is, he nor his friends were there. One of the school staff announced that all of the teachers, students, parents, and the principal to be at the auditorium at lunchtime. All ponies and creatures were present in the auditorium, as the lights began to dim, and the spotlight was on the podium on the stage. One pony did go up on stage walking towards the podium, and it was Charity Kindheart. She straightened her eyeglasses while her eyes were closed not looking at the crowd. Then, the police ponies marched in with a very stern Copper Top going on stage standing beside Charity from the right side, as Thunder came on stage from the left stood beside her, as well. Two cops were standing guard at each stairway of the stage, as the rest were standing in front. The whistle blew from the back, as everyone look to see four more cops at each doorway. With a flash of light, Princess Celestia appeared on stage, as she gave a nod to one of the police ponies to whistle twice, as Charity Kindheart spoke on the microphone.

"This school used to be fun, friendly, and respectful, but those times are gone. My husband, Honest Nature, was this school's principal until he died of a mysterious death. I found out that he was poisoned, and the ones that poisoned him are here right now. You've took my best friend, my husband, away from me for senseless personal gain. Plus, you're doing something far worse than how you've been treating all the zebras, including one that lost his mother last week. This zebra colt will now perform a poetic song for you. And I must say to all in this auditorium, I'm disgusted, appalled, and very disappointed in all of you for what this school turned into.", Charity Kindheart quickly left the stage and hugged Peace before he went to the podium. He used his magic to take the mic from the podium and began his speech.

"Why do zebras deserve hate?
Why do zebras look like molded food on your plate?
Smash them with your hooves and claws
Paws, hands, and more for your prejudice cause
Most of y'all don't have a shred of shame nor remorse
You stayed on the racial course
To be big and bad, thinkin' you're Sombra or Discord
Y'all bully zebras cuz ya can and you're bored?!
Y'all can't find somethin' else ta do?
Than push a zebra to get hurt or sick to make your wishes come true
I know you ponies, griffons, dragons, centaurs
Dogs, cats, birds, and even minitours
Have many beautiful colors, true
But why extinct zebras from your view?
Yes, we're black and white, brown and white
But there's no need to put us down and banish from your sight
To me, two or more of y'all are murderers
Many zebra had suicidal thoughts, thanks to you marauders
Zebras are strong and smart
And they have what y'all don't, a heart
So, the parents in this very room
Y'all just put your kids in dangerous doom
As the principal and his teacher brother
Paid y'all to harm all zebras ta be rich for one another..."

Most of the auditorium has been listening to Peace's poetic speech, and that last part was when all of the kids looked at each of their parents. The parents either turned their heads from their kids, looked down in shame, or denied it whenever a son or daughter asked them if it was true or not. Many kids, including Sling Shot, had faces of shock, guilt, and shame. But Peace was not done with his speech just yet, as he continued.

"Ta think that this school used to be lovin', carin', and peaceful for all
All that began to crumble and fall
Cuz of two stallions wantin' revenge
On zebra doctors for not savin' their sick mama with a syringe
Their dad's on stage tonight
Horrified for their beliefs of the zebra hate hype
Do y'all wanna know what he told the police and the princess
Lock them up and throw away the key to life access
I heard their mama had cancer, too
My condolences to the dad and his sister-in-law, true
But to Principal Spit Shine and Teacher Torque Blade
Me and Pop will never forgive you both for the incident y'all made
You both kept me from seein' my Mama one last time
And from what the police told me, that's a crime
Assaultin' and abusin' a foal, along with many more zebra foals and more
You both are just evil to the core
Non-remorseful in your heart and bones
By the way, your daddy said that you're both disowned
And ya know what else that's really not cool
Y'all were sellin' drugs while kids are in school
One last thing before y'all go in the jail pool
For y'all ta hate zebras for a stupid, nonsensical, and absentminded reason, are truly FOOLS!!!!"

Peace dropped the mic from the air, as all were silent in the auditorium. On stage, Thunder, Copper, Celestia, Charity, the rest of Peace's friends were amazed by Peace's poetic speech, as were the Guards and the police ponies. In the audience, many parents and kids, whether pony or creature, had tears coming down from their eyes, having guilt, shame, and regret on their minds, including Sling Shot, who was just as bad as the teacher and principal. Speaking of, two officers were bringing both Spit Shine and Torque Blade on stage. Copper Top walked towards Torque Blade with a stern look on her face.

"Torque Blade and Spit Shine, you're both under arrest for assault, child abuse, power harassment, extortion of drug delivering while children are in school, and murder of ten to twenty zebras, young and old.", she told them both the charges, but Spit Shine was not going to go away quietly.

"You striped horned brat! Your kind deserves to die after what happened to our mom! He could've saved her from the cancer she had! You stripes don't need to exist in Equestria or anywhere!", said the cyan and purple maned Earth pony with venom in his voice. That was when an angry Sling Shot spoke, but his anger was towards the teacher and principal.

"That was the reason you hate the zebras, because a zebra doctor couldn't save your mom from a disease that's hardly curable?! Look, I can understand that you two love your mother very much, but the reason for hating the whole zebra race is completely stupid and insane! You can get rid of for a while, but it'll come back in full force unexpectedly. When I first came here, I was told that zebras were bad and criminals, but like Peace Poet and the rest of the zebras, they're all nice, smart, and friendly.", Peace had a small smile on his face when Sling Shot said that, as he continued.

"Not just me, but every pony and creature has been bullying, harassing, abusing, and hurting all the zebras in school, and pretty much all of Stallion Island because of your hate towards zebras. We've traumatized the zebras for what we did, and you two should be ashamed for the misguided discrimination towards the zebras that just want to fit in.", Sling Shot stood up and galloped on the stage, just a few feet in front of Peace. Sling had the look of guilt and shame on his face, and even tears were welling up in his eyes.

"Peace, I can understand if you hate me for what I said and did to you, and I'll understand if you will never forgive me, but please allow me to say this. I am deeply, truly sorry for your loss, and I'm deeply, truly sorry for how I've been treating you. I know saying this will never bring your mother back, but I just want to genuinely apologize to you, your family, and your friends.", Sling Shot said, sobbing quietly. But Peace spoke and said...

"You're right about not forgivin' ya, especially for what ya did ta me, my friends, what you said about my fam, and all the zebras...", Sling looked down at the floor, but...

"But in time, I'll forgive you, the rest of the students, teachers, and others for not knowin' the reason of the hate towards zebras. That apology you said is a good start, but it's not just me ya need ta apologize to.", Sling looked up, as Peace pointed on the left side of the auditorium to see only zebras on that side. Some of the zebras have bruises, cuts, black eyes from the abuse and bullying from the ponies and creatures. Some were scared, angry, and confused onto why zebras deserved the prejudice behavior towards them. The right side of the auditorium felt more guilt when they looked at the zebras. A Pegasus filly got up from her chair and stuck out her right hoof for the zebra filly, who is shaking the fear. The zebra filly looked at her, as the Pegasus filly has a sincere apologetic smile on her face. Slowly with hesitation, the zebra filly took the hoof, as the Pegasus filly said...

"Want to make up for what we all did to you, and I'm sorry. We all just followed what the principal said, and we all regret what we did to you all. You don't have to forgive us now, but please accept not just my apology, our apology for treating you different from others.", the zebra mom gently pulled her daughter away with a soft, but stern, look. The Pegasus filly understood how the mom felt, as it would take a lot of time to forgive those who hurt all zebras, child and adult.

Sling Shot knows it would take a long time for the zebras to heal, but he also understood. He looked at Peace, his friends, his father, Princess Celestia, and the police ponies and let out a deep sigh and smiled.

"I hope we can be friends one day, Peace.", Sling said with hope.

"One day, but not now. The trust bridge is destroyed, and it'll take a long time ta put it back together.", Peace said, as Sling understood. But Peace wasn't finished.

"I can forgive you and the rest of the ponies and creatures for what happened in the up comin' future. But...", Peace then turned to Spit Shine and Torque Blade, as his eyes narrowed angrily with a frown.

"You two, I will NEVER forgive you both for what you put me and the zebras through. I'll give your dad condolences for the loss of your mom, but you shamed her for what you did. You can keep on hatin' us "stripes" all y'all wanna, but you two can never be as great as Mama was. Torque Blade, when ya knocked me out, I noticed one thing about you and the principal, you're both are not strong willed like Mama, Pop, or your dad. I have my hate towards y'all right now, but not cuz you're ponies, you're just SCUM!!!", Peace spat out the last part, as both brothers tried to get out of both officers holds.

"You stripes should never exist in Equestria or anywhere! If I weren't in these cuffs...", just as Spit Shine was about to finish, Peace was stretching his neck, legs, and back getting ready to fight. Then, Sling shot noticed something on each of Peace's legs. They looked like wrist bands, as Celestia and Thunder took them off by magic and put them down on the floor of the stage. Celestia and Thunder walked towards the brothers and stood in front of them, as the princess gave the police ponies an order.

"Release them.", the white Alicorn ordered, as the officers uncuffed both ponies. Both Spit Shine and Torque Blade were tensed up before Celestia and Thunder.

"You two have a LOT of nerve to abuse a colt. You both will be banished in Tartarus for this!", Celestia said bitterly, as Thunder looking very angry got in both of their faces.

"You two assholes cost my son a goodbye to his Mama and my wife. I wanna break both of your bodies, but that'll be against the law, since I obey the law.", Thunder said with venom in his voice. Spit Shine had a smug look on his face.

"Heh, you were always weak compared to us. We never liked you or your stripe wife. What do you have to say about that, stripe lover?", then, a smug look came from Thunder, as well. He said with a smirk...

"Have a good, paralyzed life, both of ya.", Thunder and Celestia stood back, as the brother see Peace glaring at them. Torque Blade held back his brother and said...

"Don't worry, bro. He's weak like his daddy. And this time, I'll put him out permanently!", he pounces at Peace with a left hook, but Peace dodges it. Then, a right jab, the zebra colt dodges it again. Getting frustrated, Torque used his fast punches, but his hooves couldn't touch Peace, as the little zebra colt dodging and ducking so fast. Thunder, his friends, Copper and the rest of the officers were amazed at Peace's speed. With a loud roar, Torque Blade retracted his right arm for a hard punch, but Peace caught his hoof with only his left front hoof, as he, along with Torque, is standing on his hind legs. Torque leapt back a bit looking stunned at the colts' movements. Spit Shine had his own look of shock and disbelief on how fast Peace moves.

"I-I don't understand... Torque's trained in martial arts like his dad and mom, and the kid's ducking his punches like he can see air!", Spit thought, as he sees his brother panting a bit and sweating, while Peace stood like a statue. The horned zebra colt took a deep breath and exhaled slowly. Peace then looked at Torque with narrowed eyes. As the colt stared at him, he only said two words in a cold voice...

"My turn.", and as Torque blinked his eyes for a milli-second, he just could block Peace right hoof punch on his right front leg. As that happened, everypony heard a pop and crack, as Torque wailed in agony. Peace Poet, a 5-year-old horned zebra colt, just broke Torque Blade's right front leg! The teacher fell on the floor screaming in pain, as Peace was back on all fours. The zebra colt then glared at Spit Shine, as the principal was now trembling in fear.

"I'd do more to him, but I'll be as bad as him, if I did. That was for Mama and the rest of the zebras you've abused and more. You two tainted this school for too long, and it's time to stop! None of this is gonna bring your mama back, and what I did ta ya won't bring my Mama back. So, do yourselves a favor and do what ya said to all the zebras, get out of my sight!", Peace put his hooves together and bowed to the brothers as a farewell. But as soon as turned around to walk away, with only three good legs, Torque Blade got up and charged towards Peace, but the colt leapt to air and landed on the left side of Torque and thrust kicked his side, flying over the crowd, hits the wall, and falls on the floor. One of the officers galloped to where Torque is and yelled...

"He's out cold, boss! He's still breathing!", the officer was a Unicorn and lifted him with his magic while bringing a comatose Torque Blade back to the stage. Everypony on stage were in shock of Peace's skills and agility. His father thought...

"Gracie, I know you're watchin' from heaven, and I know you're probably proud of how Peace is as a colt as martial artist. I hope this'll make ya rest in peace, baby. But our son has worked so hard to get ta where he is; has great friends lookin' out for him, and there's more to come, baby. More ta come...", Thunder thought with tears flowing from his eyes and smiling. Peace looked at his Pop, as Thunder nodded proudly. Peace walked towards a scared Spit Shine with narrowed eyes.

"You wanna take his place? If not, then it's over. You will not harm any zebra ever again, and I know that you'll be thinkin' about me for the rest of your life. You and Torque are goin' ta Tartarus for life for what you did ta me and all zebras here. But if anyone's stupid enough to release you or help y'all escape, ya better hope it's Celestia, her Royal Guards, police, or anyone that'll stop ya. If they don't, I will. And ya better believe it!", Peace warned Spit, as the principal stood petrified with fear. Copper Top told the officers to take the brothers away with the Guard following behind them. Each officer and Guard shook Peace's hoof and gave him a headpat. They also told him "good job" and more praise. Thunder Hammer, Princess Celestia, Charity Kindheart, Copper Top, Hyper Active, Golden Heart, Glorious Miracle, Coco Pommel, Cheerilee, Coloratura, and even Sling Shot all stood on their hooves and clapped for Peace. The audience joined in with cheers. Peace was amazed with the applause he's getting, as the doctors BlueCross and BlueShield just came in and also clapped, knowing what Peace, his family, his friends, and all the zebras were going through. Then, a dark blue Pegasus looked like she's in middle school walked on stage in front of Peace and introduced herself.

"Peace Poet, my name is Midnight Arrow. I was your mom's student, as she was my martial arts teacher.", she held out her hoof, as Peace shook it with a smile.

"Mama said that there was a promisin' student under her. I'm glad ta meet'cha, Midnight. She told me all about you.", Peace said happily.

"Gracie-sensei told me about you, too. And that was some great skills you've shown here.", then the smile faded, as she bowed to Peace and said...

"I'm very, truly sorry for you loss and how you and the zebras have been treated. I've should've been here for you sooner and known what's been happening.", Midnight said with frustration, but Peace calmed her down and said...

"You couldn't have known, and it's not your fault. Mama and Pop told me that you're trainin' for the Wonderbolts one day. Let me say this; don't beat yourself up for what happened. Not everypony can be on time. But I'm really glad you thought about me and the fam. That alone shows how much you care, and I thank you for that.", Midnight smiled with tears welling up in her eyes after Peace said that. She saw Thunder and went to him with a hug. But then, Thunder spoke to Peace.

"No son, she's not goin' to the Wonderbolts. Midnight's tryin' out for the Canterlot Royal Guard, which I'm gonna be.", as Thunder said that Peace's eyes lit up with a big smile on his face.

"Pop, that's great! But wait, that would mean that..", Princess Celestia stepped in front of Peace with a caring smile.

"Peace Poet, you and you father will be living with me in my castle in Canterlot, and I'll be your personal tutor for your education. How does that sound to you, my little zebracorn?", not horned zebra, a zebracorn. Peace liked the sound of it. and with Celestia being his personal tutor, it was a heavy burden lifted off his back. Celestia continues.

"Although, I won't be teaching you much while I rule Equestria, but there are other tutors who will teach you.", hearing this, Peace understands, and said...

"Your Highness, I'll try my very best not ta be a burden to you and many others in your castle. And I'll try my best to learn as many things as I can.", the zebracorn colt said, as he bowed to the princess. Midnight Arrow was happy for Peace, as she spoke to him.

"I hope to see you in Canterlot when I become one of the Guard.", she said, as Peace said...

"I have no doubt that you'll be one of the best in the Guard, just like Pop's gonna be.", Thunder smiled at Peace with his kind words.

"I'll try my best, son. Things are gonna be positive in our lives, now. Do ya remember our talk, son? A few days ago?", Thunder asked, as Peace nodded without hesitation.

"Yeah Pop, I remember. There's education for school and the other education.", letting out a deep sigh, Princess Celestia knew what they were talking about, but didn't want to interrupt nor interfere what the father and son planned. Sling Shot walk towards Peace and said...

"Peace, my ride is here. I want to apologize again for what happened to you, your family, and all the zebras. I hope you'll stay on the right path of forgiveness, and I know that after everything, it's very hard to forgive.", all Peace did was bowing in respect, as Sling bowed back, as he went off stage. Hype and his friends went to Peace and Glori spoke.

"Amigo, Tio, are you really moving to Canterlot?", she asked sadly, as the rest of Peace's friends also has sad looks on their faces. Peace took a deep breath, as he also had a sad look of his own.

"Yeah, but I'll always think about y'all while I'm there. Y'all helped me and took up for me from every pony and creature who hated me and the rest of the zebras. I just wished that I fought back, but I'd be as bad as them if I did.", Peace looked down on the floor, as he felt a hoof on his chin to slowly lift his head up, as he looked at Goldie's tear-filled eyes, as she said...

"We were happy to help you, and still do, Peace. You've shown us and everyone else that you had strong will power to hold back. I'd do it all over again, without hesitation.", she said with her voice cracking a little.

"She's right, bro. You're not just rhymes or strong, you're special to us, man. You and me, bros for life.", Hype said, also with tear-filled eyes. Cheerilee came over and spoke to Peace, as well.

"I wanna be a better teacher than Torque Blade, so I can treat every pony and creature with respect and equality. And you said that I'll be one of the best teachers in Equestrian history. I hope to make you, your dad, and you mom proud, Peace.", the magenta Earth filly said, as Peace nodded and said...

"I know you'll be one of the best teachers in Equestrian history, Cheerilee. Just like bein' a cheerleader here in school. Ya know how ta cheer a pony up and I hope you'll continue to do so.", the zebracorn colt said, as tears began to flow from Cheerilee's eyes. Coco Pommel and Coloratura also came to Peace, and both spoke to him.

"I'm very sorry for what you and all the zebras went through here. I wished I would've done something about. But I was too scared, cuz the teachers would...", Coco couldn't finish, as she sobbed a little, as Coloratura patted her back.

"I was the same as her, Peace. Every time we both wanted to stop the ponies and creatures from hurting you and the zebras, they would go for us next. we both weren't there for you, and for that, I'm sorry.", she looked down at the floor, as Peace said...

"Rara, Coco, there were times when I thought that you two, even Hype, Goldie, and Glori, would stop bein' friends with me cuz I'm a zebra, or a zebracorn. There were time that I think that y'all would see me as a freak, a monster, a stripe, and much worst. I wouldn't blame y'all for distancing from me for what I am, but ya didn't. That shows me that you're more loyal than everyone in school. Coco, ya wanna be one of the best designers. Rara, ya wanna be one of the best performers. Hype, ya wanna be one of the best DJ's. Goldie, ya wanna be one of the best singers. Glori, ya wanna be one of the best rockers. Cheerilee, ya wanna be one of the best teachers. I wanna see y'all shine one day; shine as bright as the galaxy. I know y'all can make it. Me, I wanna shine in my own right. I wanna shine for the good of Equestria.", Peace finished his speech, as Charity Kindheart walked up to him, and said...

"Well, I really hope that we'll see you again, Peace Poet. Your presence here is as positive as Princess Celestia's Sun and Princess Luna's Moon...", Celestia smile sadly at hearing Luna's name, after what happened between them years ago, as Charity continued.

"I know that what the ponies and creatures did to you here and outside of school was horrible, and they all regret for what they did. They will be punished for what they did you and the zebras. There are other schools that will take some of the students in, but some will be expelled for hurting you mentally, physically, emotionally.", as Charity finished speaking to Peace, she went to the podium, picked up the microphone and spoke to the crowd.

"What you all did to Peace Poet and all the zebras is very unforgivable, horrible, and shameful. Your behavior was beyond unacceptable! Princess Celestia and I will speak to you students and parents in the gym after this. To the zebras, I want you all to go to the Stallion Island Ferry, because you'll be going to Apple Theater for a free show. I'll be there with you all after the show.", the zebras smiled with tears of joy, as other ponies and creatures sighed sadly, knowing that they're getting what they deserved. Charity continued.

"However, Peace Poet will be getting his education in Canterlot, as Princess Celestia will be his personal tutor. If any of you want to apologize and say your goodbyes, now will be a good time. Peace Poet, along with his father, Thunder Hammer, will be leaving shortly after. That is all. Every pony and creature are dismissed!", with that being said by Charity, every pony and creature, student and parent, all apologized to Peace, Thunder, and all the zebras before leaving the auditorium. Charity was about to leave, but went back to hug Peace and told him...

"Write to me whenever you can, so we can stay in touch. I'll miss you, my Poetic Warrior. Take care of yourself, you and your dad both. And live happy.", Charity Kindheart broke the hug and looked at Peace smiling sadly, while he nods. Then, she said goodbye to everypony else and walked out. Glori gave Peace a hug too, along with a kiss on the cheek.

"Adios, mi amigo. Write to me and everypony else too, OK?", Peace nodded, as he moved some of Glori's long hair from her face to wipe a tear.

"Si, mi amiga. I'll write to you and everypony that loves me for who I am every day. Adios.", Glori hesitantly broke the hug, as Goldie hugged Peace and kissed him on the cheek, as well.

"We'll make you proud, Peace. Just promise that you'll make us proud on having a better life.", Peace nodded again, as she hesitantly broke the hug, as well. Hype and Peace gave each other a hoof bump.

"Bros for life, brother. No matter what.", Hype said, and then, they went in for a bro hug.

"Bros for life, brother.", Peace said, as they broke the hug. Both Coco and Rara hugged Peace and each gave him a kiss on each cheek, as Cheerilee did the same. The fillies and colt hugged Thunder, as well. Copper Top shook Thunder's hoof.

"Good luck to you both, and may you have a smooth road ahead.", Thunder nodded, as Copper went to Peace and shake his hoof.

"Don't break any laws, young one...unless you have a good reason to. Take care, both of you.", Peace also nodded, as Copper Top and some of the police ponies walked out, along with the foals. Peace sees one zebra filly, as he jumped off the stage with worry on his face.

"Um, I'm sorry that I...", the zebra filly just hugged Peace and said...

"Thank you for saving us.", she broke the hug, smiled at Peace, and ran out of the auditorium. Peace doesn't know many of the zebras in the school, but he knows, just like him, his Pop, and his Mama, they were struggling to get by with the harassment and more. Peace won't forget nor forgive what those on what they put him, his family, and the zebras through. Princess Celestia and Thunder came of stage to where Peace is standing.

"I-I get a bunch of thank you's from Mama, Pop, my friends, but that one from that zebra filly is special.", Thunder patted Peace's head and said...

"You've accomplished somethin', son. That's what bein' good is. If you keep bein' good, you'll accomplish more.", Peace smiled at what his Pop said, as Celestia spoke.

"Having loyal friends like yours is an extension of your family. And I hope that you'll make more friends in Canterlot to extend your family...hopefully me.", the white Alicorn said with hope in her eyes, as Peace looked at her with tears flowing from his own.

"You're my Mama's and Pop's best friend. Mama used ta be with the Guard as the commander, and I'm still proud of her for bein' strong for me and Pop. Now, I'm proud of Pop for bein' with the Guard, and I hope that me and him will be as strong as Mama was. And you're my personal tutor, and I hope I won't let you or Pop down, Princess Celestia...Auntie.", she choked up after Peace said that last part, and gave him a hug and kissed his forehead. The three of them walked out of the auditorium together. The only good memories Peace will remember in Stallion Island, Manehattan will be with all that are there for him, cherish him, love, respect, and true to the zebracorn. He will never forget what he, his family, friends and all of the zebras been through. Some of the ponies and creatures apologized, but he won't forget nor forgive them for what they did. And now, Peace Poet's life will be different from the one he's about to leave behind.

*Thirteen years later*

In Canterlot at the Royal Castle, there was Princess Celestia and now retired commander of the Canterlot Royal guard, Thunder Hammer, sat in the dining room for a private celebration. And for that celebration is for an eighteen-year-old zebracorn that's a little muscular and handsome, has graduated from all the education from Princess Celestia herself and many others. Peace Poet has grown into a fine zebracorn stallion, and is happier than what happened to him, his family, his friends, which he kept in touch with, and the zebras many years ago. Some ponies came to celebrate in Peace's honor. Princess Celestia stood up from her seat and spoke.

"It was a long, hard, and difficult road for one zebracorn, but he has more educational experience than he had thirteen years ago. His mother, Graceful Blessing, a strong-willed and caring mother, and former commander of the Royal Guard, she, along with now retired commander Thunder Hammer, a strong and proud father, raised this amazing, strong, smart, and wonderful young stallion, Peace Poet. There were many challenges Peace faced years ago in Stallion Island, Manehattan and here in Canterlot, but Peace overcame the challenges and hit them head on. He's made new friends here, and still kept in touch with his old friends, which are not here, sadly. But his friends are here in spirit, as they sent Peace some gifts of his graduation. Peace Poet, not only did you do well in education, but you also worked hard on jobs, training in martial arts, helping other ponies and creatures, writing poems for your books, and making countless donations to many charities. You are truly a hard worker for all, and I hope you'll continue to do so in the future. May your future be as bright as the day you set your hoof in the castle. And you will always be a friend to everypony here in Canterlot.", many clapped their hooves to Peace on passing on his education, especially a new Royal Guard recruit, Midnight Arrow, who is, along with the rest of the Royal Guard, are proud of Peace. Peace got up from his seat and made a speech.

"It was a longtime struggle for me and Pop
But thanks to Princess Celestia and the Royal Guard, we're on the positive top
There is some prejudice in the world today
And it still won't stand in my way
After this, I start my journey to travel
Learnin' more things from the hardtop to the gravel
To Princess Celestia and her amazin' crew
This is my poem to you, I thank you
Thank you for takin' care of me and Pop
My learnings from you will never stop
My Mama would be so proud
If she were here, she would shout loud
"My boys, my boys, you are strong
Amazin' and true to prove many wrong"
Thank y'all for giving me and Pop a chance to live
My gift was this celebration, as I have some to give
The jobs I did earned me many bits
Along with friendships, respect, and more great hits
Some that didn't make it today, I say I understand
But we're all not sinkin' in quicksand
My best friends have their own successes
We still keep in touch, as we give each other God Blesses
This is the end of my rhyme
But we all still have plenty of time
To shine, even after we pass
As we all make our memories last."

Every pony clapped their hooves at Peace's poetic speech. Thunder went to hug his son, as he asked...

"You miss her, don't ya?", the father was referring to Graceful Blessing, as Peace answered...

"Yeah, but I know she's in our hearts and watchin' us. Hearin' so many of the former members of the Royal Guard saying that Mama was the first zebra in Equestrian history ta be a commander of the Canterlot Royal Guard. That's true honor right there. And you stopped and fought in five wars, Pop. That's a great achievement!", Peace said proudly, as Thunder rubbed his hoof behind his back.

"Well, I tried my best to be strong and be a good leader for the Guard. But even the leader has ta listen to what the follower wants, thinks, and more. Sergeant Straight Arrow, Midnight Arrow's dad, taught me a lot about how to lead.", Thunder said, as Midnight walked up to both stallions with a smile.

"Dad is a great teacher to learn from. He even taught me and Peace about everything. He makes me prouder of him every day. After all these years, I still can't beat him in arm wrestling!", Midnight said with an angry pout, as Thunder and Peace laughed. Celestia spoke with a sigh.

"Cadence and Shining Armor said that they're really sorry that they couldn't make it here today, since are on assignment. And Blueblood... Well, you know how he is.", that last part Celestia said was with a flat tone, but Peace understood that.

"Yeah, I know the prissy prince don't like me, but I'm over him, anyway. And I understand that Cady and Shinin' went to Vanhoover, and Shinin and Straight Arrow's the bodyguards for Cady. And my foalhood friends also have important stuff they're doin'; Hype's a DJ, Goldie and Rara are singers, Glori's tryin' out for the Wonderbolts, Coco's the fashion designer's assistant, and Cheerilee's a substitute teacher 'til she becomes a full-time one. Charity Kindheart's makin' stage plays, and Copper Top's a captain of Manehattan PD. I'm proud of all of them for achieving their goals. I make poetry books for fun and bits, but now, it's time for me ta travel the world.", Peace said with determination, as his saddle bags are packed.

"Peace, where will you go first? You must have one destination.", Celestia asked.

"I'm goin' ta Hoof Kong to the Horshaolin Temple for more lessons with Zen Hoof, Mama's master and teacher. I'll stay there for a few years and travel some more ta learn more stuff in the world. Don't worry, I'll write ta all of y'all everyday.", Peace smiled, as Celestia teared up and gave him a hug.

"Don't be a stranger, Peace Poet. You'll always be welcomed here, nephew.", she gave him a kiss on the cheek and hesitantly released Peace. Midnight also gave Peace a hug.

"Be well on your travels, Peace. Stay strong, healthy, and kind.", the blue Pegasus released him, as tears start flowing down her cheeks. Then, Thunder hoof bumped Peace, and said...

"I know you'll make me, your Mama, your friends, and every pony here proud, son. Be the strongest zebracorn you can be. I love you, Peace.", the stallions finally hugged for a moment and let go.

"Love you too, Pop. I love all of y'all. Thank y'all for carin' for me, lovin' me, teachin' me, guidin' me, and helpin' me see what life's has in store for me. I'll never forget ya and will write y'all everyday. This is not "so long' nor a "farewell", it's "see ya later". So, see y'all later.", Peace puts his saddle bags on his back with his magic and headed to the door. But he stopped at the doorway and looked back.

"Pop, teach the young Guard ponies some wisdom and manners. You and Midnight help keep them straight.", Peace said with a smile and tears flowing down his cheeks and exited the dining room. Thunder and Midnight went to a worried, but sadden, Princess Celestia to comfort her.

"He'll be alright, Your Highness. Peace'll make new friends and enemies on the road, whether it's smooth or rough, he'll make it.", he said, as Celestia sobbed a little.

"Yes, I know. But I do hope that he won't do the same thing that happened to my sister. I really hope Peace Poet's road is straight without potholes.", as she said that, Celestia went to the window with Thunder and Midnight looking down at Peace getting in one of the Royal Carriages, as on of the Guard ponies closed the door and saluted Peace, as he saluted back. Peace looked up and waved at the window, as Princess Celestia, father Thunder Hammer, and Midnight Arrow waved back, watching the zebracorn start his journey of learning and more beyond Canterlot. As they were about to exit the room, Midnight asked...

"What about the Former teacher and principal, Torque Blade and Spit Shine? Are they still in Tartarus?", and that made both Thunder and Celestia huff in disgust.

"They passed away two years ago. Peace don't have ta worry about those racist bastards ever again.", Thunder said bitterly.

"Though, there will be ponies like them out there, even some in Canterlot. I just hope that Peace will stay the zebracorn he is.", Celestia said with worry, as every pony left the dining room. In the carriage, Peace was looking at two pictures; one with his foalhood friends, and one with his dad and mom. He looked up at the clear blue sky and said...

"Well, Mama, wish me luck.", as he closed his eyes and took a nap, Peace Poet's new life and journey has just begun.

Well, justice was served. And if you're wondering about where it took place in Canterlot, it was about two years before Twilight and Spike went to Ponyville. Plus, I wanna thank y'all for enjoying this story. I know some of y'all have doubts about it and some are interested in it. I'll keep doing my best to make this story a good one.
