Serene: Now explain your rationale for visiting my office, Princess Cadance. I usually get patients who commit horrendous acts and disclose the information privately without informing Princess Celestia, for my work here is similar to a confession booth you would find in places called churches.

Cadance: I.., uh.., [the interview pauses for a moment before continuing] Sorry, this is the first time I've come alone without informing my friends, boyfriend, and Princess Celestia about my business. Not even the Royal Guards know I'm here.

Serene: If you're feeling uncertain about your presence, know that everything we discuss won't be for the public; not even the Princess of the Sun would obtain this information. Your secret is safe with me.

Cadance: [there's a brief pause to the interview, a sign of regret and uncertainty] Alright, if what you say is -

Serene: [A slight interruption occurs] True, my obligation will not permit me to speak, share, and violate your rights as a Pony longing to exert paramount information that would alter your appearance and ruin your reputation.

Cadance: [A short-term sigh gets recorded] So I guess I'm ready to begin the interview or, in this case, my confession for the sins I bear.

Serene: [She prepares to jot the confession in a written document in case audio feeds become damaged or tampered with by altering magic spells.] Go on.

Cadance: It started after Princess Celestia adopted me when I was a filly; I would spend years under Celestia's occupation, learning and practicing magic no standard Unicorn could perform, even when they're in their teens. I found out there was hatred between a young couple while raising a foal, barking at each other to get a divorce. During that time, I knew what a divorce meant for the youngling with uncertainty and trauma, so with the power bestowed on me, I used a dark spell mixed with hypnotism to force the two bickering parents into instantly loving each other and renewing their relationship.

Serene: [Drops her booklet after writing the details explained by Cadance. There's a pause with slow breathing from the revelation] I just had a horrific thought, and I need you to verify to continue this interview, Cadance. Did you achieve your Alicorn status by performing forbidden dark magic?

Cadance: Yes. [No hesitation]

Serene: Why? [Her tone is harsh rather than calm by accident]

Cadance: Well, at that time, I didn't think talking to resolve the issue would work, and the child was crying for attention or to stop the parents from arguing and making peace. So, I strolled by, using the spell for the first time, and when Princess Celestia saw me stopping a family from parting, she was dumbfounded, and I made her believe the spell was my natural talent. Thinking how easily the spell worked on two loving Ponies, I made it my mission before Celestia instructed me to resolve hate with love; with that said, any bickering, arguing, threats of divorce, or breakups, I was there to force love and dissipate the hatred.

Serene: [A long sigh released, which made her wonder about her marriage with the stallion possibly tainted or forced when she argued over a matter she doesn't remember] You know it's wrong to compel something without anyone's consent, right?

Cadance: At that time, I didn't care about anypony's consent when hatred continued to build up.

Serene: You're not answering the question, Cadance.

Cadance: My answer to your question is, I don't care. I love everypony, and everyone needs love to live their lives, not hatred to deter and ruin relationships!

Serene: [writing the details on her booklet while examining Cadance's behavior from calm to hostile] So, did you hypnotize Shining Armor into becoming your very special some - [There's a pause after an anger snort from Princess Cadance, validating her statement before finishing the question]

Cadance: No comment!

Serene: Enough said.

Cadance: Life became easy with hatred departing from everyone's minds, and watching couples living, happily made Equestria safer to live in than watching what hatred would bring after seeing the lengths during my childhood.

Serene: So, where did the hatred go? There's always a cost for using forbidden dark magic.

Cadance: Elsewhere, but I gradually noticed the more I used the forbidden dark spell, the more mental strain I got, and I didn't mind at first; however - [A short pause interrupts her speech]

Serene: What do you mean by, however, Cadance?

Cadance: Hatred became an entity, and I was generating it with my continual usage of the spell when forcing love with more couples in Canterlot and elsewhere in Equestria.

Serene: Where did it go?

Cadance: I needed a volunteer to transfer hatred so it doesn't become sentient, so I chose someone to receive nothing but hatred with an unruly personality, fitting without acknowledgment.

Serene: Who did you select?

Cadance: [A shrewd, scowled smirk expresses on her face] The Prince.

Serene: [A loud shriek gets recorded] Blueblood?!

Cadance: Princess Celestia preferred mares as the authority figure, so transferring hatred to Blueblood would qualify him as unworthy to rule Equestria, paving the way for me to become the Princess of Love in Equestria, ruling the nation with everlasting love and peace.

Serene: [A long pause with slow breathing gets recorded] Princess, do you know what you've done?

Cadance: Who cares that I ruined Prince Blueblood's opportunity to become Prince of Equestria when Princess Celestia wasn't giving him kingship when she retires? It's obviously going to be me, so why not speed the process when I perfect my figure as a rising Alicorn?

Serene: His followers would care unless.., [She writes her statement on a separate document rather than express her feelings with the Princess, which could force her to forget with a hypnotic love spell]

Cadance: Only gold-diggers would fall for Prince Blueblood now while everyone else is already resenting him; not even Princess Celestia acknowledges his existence since she has started to find interest in Twilight more than her own nephew.

Serene: For a Princess to represent love, what you're doing is evil.

Cadance: Well, this stays between us! No one else would know about my transition to becoming the Princess of Love and the downfall of Blueblood before it began!

Serene: [A long unsettling sigh emits from the recording before the bell rings] Okay, Princess. This session is up. [She writes a document detailing the next session to continue this interview] I expect you to return next week.

Cadance: I expect you to maintain your relationship with your husband. Don't make me catch you! [A magic aura echoes from her horn, poofing from the room]
