The gentle hum of the car engine made Diamond Tiara’s ear flap. She stared out the window, biting her cheek, deep in thought. How did I get into this again..? She thought back.

“So what else do ya do fer fun, Dia?” The yellow mare asked. “‘Part from the usual?”

“I don’t know, I suppose I’m mostly… in my room?” She chuckled, unsure exactly how to answer a question like that.

“Pff, c’mon, you gotta do more than that.” Scootaloo sneered. “Like us, y’know,

we go out on the town, get into mischief, maybe tap a mare or two~”

Tiara raised an eyebrow. “...‘Tap’ a mare?”

Apple Bloom smirked. “Yeah, like… Have fun with ‘em. Make ‘em feel good?”

Tiara stared. She understood the euphemism Bloom presented, but the fact it was addressed so nonchalantly had thrown her off her tracks. “Yeah, I- I getcha…” She started. “...How- or …where do you.. Do that stuff?”

Sweetie Belle tittered. “Scootaloo knows a few places!”

Scootaloo grinned, looking away modestly. “Oh, c’mon… I just know like… 4 or 5… in town..” She chuckled, returning her focus to the group.

Apple Bloom snickered in return. “So, are ya game?” She asked, giving a sly smile to Diamond Tiara.

“What?” She had to snap herself out of her trance.

“Like, are ya up fer it? Y’wanna visit one’a these places?”

Tiara considered everything from the past few minutes deeply. She had curiosities, ones that had mostly been kept to herself… But the thought of actually achieving something so intimate and private, just like that…?

“Sure."

And so here she was, in the backseat of Scoot’s car with her friends, pulling up in front of a seemingly innocent building. It was wellkept, the doorway swept of debris, the windows clean of smudges. Surely this couldn’t be it…

“Alright, we’re here!” Scootaloo chirped, completely disrupting Diamond’s expectations. “Ready for some fun?” She snorted, hopping out of the car.

Tiara would’ve felt completely at ease- if it weren’t for Scoot’s quip. Regardless, she, along with the others, got out of the car, and approached the building.

“So this place is like.. Safe, right?” She asked, hesitant to enter.

“Well, ah’ve never been on th’ receiving end, but… Yeah. Adults bein’ adults. Jus’ feelin’ good.” Bloom smiled in reassurance, despite the bluntness of her own sentence. Tiara just nodded as they made their way through the door.

The lounge area had a similar feeling attached to that of the outside. Organised, clean, comfortable, warm, and… oddly accepting. A mare, no doubt a receptionist, sat at a desk nearby, sorting through papers, and cross referencing some unknown information with what was on the computer in front of her. Just behind her was a hallway, with a sign next to it that read “Amenities.”

Everything felt so… normal, here. Sex had always been something she’d considered private. She imagined that any place to house or normalise such a thing would likely be… thoughtless. And yet, this place… It looked like a functioning business that cared deeply for its image, and its customers.

“Oh, hello again, Sundown!” The receptionist smiled at Scootaloo.

Sweetie Belle giggled, giving Tiara’s shoulder a nudge. “She goes by that here. Keeps the mystery going.”

“Heya, Shuffler!” Scootaloo smiled. “Got a group today, any idea on a wait time?”

“Oh, lucky for you, we just finished setting up Room 3!” The receptionist replied. “Ready for our next customers!” She smiled.

“Oh, hoho.. Awesome, thanks!” Scootaloo chuckled, turning back. “Hey, Tiara, you wanna go first? We’ll catch up in a sec.”

Tiara hesitated. Here was Scootaloo, bringing her to a completely unfamiliar location, and telling her to go first… And yet, there wasn’t any doubt. She was unsure, but somehow… She walked through the hallway, past the “Amenities” sign. She wasn’t sure what was driving her… Maybe it was just… the uncertainty. The unknowing of what to expect. The anxiety… The excitement.

The hallway opened into the middle of another hallway, with doorways spaced a distance apart either side. She began walking, looking carefully at the doors, until she found the door numbered “3.”

She took a breath, twisted the nob, and pushed open the door.
