(Sureyia 1st pov)

I swear by G’s true name, Yahweh, if I had a dollar for every time one of these kids asked, “Are we there yet?” I’d be a rich ass nigga.

It’s been well over a few hours since we’ve set out for the badlands. Thankfully, this time we haven’t had any more interruptions; the only thing is, kids will be kids.

I’ve had more than a few ask me about my powers, pull on and admire my cloak, ask to wear my mask, and even ask to ride on my shoulders.

And while I’ve had no problem with that, I still had a ton of them asking. Luckily, I’m used to this. After all, I had four kids that I basically helped raise, so I have a lot of patience.

So far, I have two little goblin boys on my shoulders, a little lamia girl coiled around my waist while clinging to my back, a specter girl floating near my head and constantly playing with my hair, and an ice wolf boy playing with and even gnawing on my tail.

Most of the adults in the group seem content with sitting back and watching my predicament with amused smiles on their faces.

Can’t blame them; I would probably do the same thing in their place, but still, I continued on my merry way.

However, there was one thing that I could not handle when it came to little kids, and that was the dreaded “Are we there yet?”

I was tempted to stab my ears out right now, but I suffered through it.

Eventually, we stopped for the time being and once again set up camp, which didn’t take long.

As soon as I had the huts set up, I began to pull out the leftovers and served up some dinner. After eating their fill, some of the group began to crawl into the huts to sleep, while some decided to pass the time with a little chitchat.

Meanwhile, I was sitting high on top of one of the tree branches. My eyes closed as I reflected on the past events so far.

“What are you doing up here?” I opened my eyes to see Arachne clinging to the side of the tree, staring at me quizzically.

“Just doing some thinking. I would’ve never thought anything like this would’ve ever happened to me. How are the folks back home going to believe it when I show them?”

“But never mind me, what are you doing here?” I asked.

“Well, I was just checking on you. I know talking about your past like that must’ve dug up some memories,” she said sympathetically.

“Yeah, it did hurt, but I’ve learned to move past it.”

We both went quiet until she did something rather unexpected. She moved alongside the tree until she climbed onto the branch I was laying on and decided to plop down right on my lap.

My eyes widened a bit as she leaned into my face with a seductive look.

“So, is it true?” she said with a smirk.

“Is what true?” I said, trying to keep myself in check.

“Don’t play coy with me,” she said with a grin, and she leaned even closer, pressing her breast against my chest.

“What your little friend said, do you like what you see?” She leaned back slightly, reached down, and pulled up her top, allowing her breast to slide out from under the fabric and bounce freely.

“I mean, I have to admit, you’ve got a nice body and you’re pretty handsome in the face,” she said as she leaned even closer and went as far as to lick the side of my cheek.

Before I knew it, my body reacted as my third leg began to wake up.

“Oh my,” she said, as she lightly grind against my crotch.

I was not going to take this. My hands shot up and grabbed her enormous breasts, making her gasp before I brought my head to her breast and gave one of her nipples a nice long lick. I even went as far as to pop it into my mouth before gently sucking and biting on it.

The reaction was immediate as her hands shot up to her mouth to keep her from moaning out loud.

After a few seconds, I pulled back before I leaned into her ear and gave it a gentle bite.

“Trust me, baby girl, you’re not ready for this yet. Don’t start something you can’t finish,” I accentuated my point by going below her abdomen to her butt, which was pretty nice and round, and giving it a light squeeze.

She nodded her head slowly before getting up and quickly scampering down the tree.

“Hehe, that was pretty smooth, Master,” I heard Shion say as she materialized on top of me in pretty much the same way.

“Yeah, but also dangerous. I could feel my demonic side telling me to take her right then and there.”

“Maybe you just need a little tension relief,” she said as she reached down and rubbed my still hard dick.

“As much as I would love to do this right now, we need to get everybody situated,” I said as I gently brushed her hand away, causing her to frown.

“Don’t worry, there will be plenty of time for that later,” I said as I lightly pinched her butt and turned in for the night.

(The next day )

I stood up and hopped down from my perch, stretching and receiving a few pops.

I looked and saw most of the camp was already awake, after a while I got there attention.

“Alright everyone, let’s move.”

And with that, we were off. We walked for about another hour before we reached a river. As we followed the stream, I began to think of plans and ideas.

I know for a fact that Celestia won’t be so reasonable about what happened with those guards.

So she will most likely try to come after me. Then there’s trying to rescue the other demimonsters from the slavers.

Fuck it, I’ll wing it as I go.

Suddenly, I realized that it felt warmer than before and I soon understood why. The grass plains were giving way to an almost deserted landscape.

I smiled as I soon realized we had reached our destination.

Now that we were here, I began planning on what our stronghold should have. I also decided that after we settled in, I would begin training the demimonsters.

They had tons of magical potential and they could definitely be a force to be reckoned with if given the proper time and guidance.

As we scanned the area, I noticed what looked like a small settlement in the distance. I decided that’s where we would head. As we got closer, I realized just how run-down the place was.

All of the stands and structures looked like they could fall apart at any moment. The people looked no better: starved, poor, and filthy.

“This place looks miserable as fuck,” I said.

My comment earned the attention of some of the residents who either didn’t care or didn’t appreciate what I said.

“Well, what do we have here?” Looking to the voice that spoke, I saw an anthropomorphic cat. He had orange fur, green eyes, and a tuft of blue hair on his head. He wore a red coat that seemed to be missing a few buttons. He also had what looked like purple bandages wrapping around his tail.

“How are you doing? The name’s Capper. Nice to meet ya.”

“Likewise, the name’s Sureiya.”

“Well, that’s a fancy name. So what brings you folks here to Klugetown?” he asked.

I decided to just let the cat out of the bag. No pun intended.

“Nothing much, just running away from the angry princess of Equestria.”

I swear the moment I spoke, it was like a pin dropped. Everything stopped, everyone stopped, and all eyes were on us.

“What do you mean?” he asked, obviously a bit nervously.

“Let’s just say I’m possibly on the princess’s shit list for brutally beating a couple of her guards who unfairly tried to arrest my friends,” I said, gesturing to the demimonsters behind me.

“And you came here of all places?” he asked, wide-eyed.

“Yup, figured it best to get somewhere out of their range for the time being.”

“Well, there’s no way you’re staying here,” an anthropomorphic turtle man said.

“Actually, we are. You don’t really have to worry about the princesses for the time being.”

“And what the hell do you think you’re gonna do when they show up? You’re not dragging us into this.”

“Easy now. Look, these folks here have had it hard and I promise them a better life. Now, we’re not saying that this is a permanent stay, but for now, until I can get some more things figured out, this is where we’re going to settle.”

“Like hell you are!” the grouchy turtle man screamed as more and more residents seemed to get riled up.

On instinct, and without missing a beat, I flooded the entire area with my bloodlust. The reaction was immediate as most of them backed down, dropped to their knees, and some outright passed out.

“Do you really think any of you can stop me?” I then turned my attention back to Capper. “Now look, I need you to answer a question. Is there anyone in charge here?”

“Well, not really. We all just kind of do our own thing.”

“Soka~ (I see). Well, as of today, that’s changing.”

“Now, wait a damn minute! You can’t just come here and start taking over! Who the hell do you think you are?” I looked and saw it was a Minotaur.

“I wouldn’t really call it taking over, more like putting my foot down on this place and shaping it up. If anything, it could most definitely improve your life.”

He then turned his attention to my group and got a sultry smile.

“Well, maybe if you were to share some of those beauties you’ve got with you, we’d be
more open to discuss.”

I didn’t need to look back to see how uncomfortable the women of my group were nor how hostile and defensive the men were becoming.

“Hmmm, here’s a counter offer,” I said as I wrapped my tail around his throat, spread my wings, and took off into the air. Once I was about 50 feet up, I let go and watched him begin to fall.

I simply stayed there, watching him plummet until he was nearly to the ground, at which point I quickly zipped down and caught him right by his ankle.

“How about you shut the fuck up and never make a comment like that again, got it?”

“Y-y-yes,” he said.

“Good boy,” I said, as I dropped him to the ground. “Now, anyone else?” They all seemed to either back away or shake their heads.

“Good. Now spread the word around this town and have everyone gather outside. I’m going to do a little remodeling.”

With that, they all walked off.

“Not you, you stay,” I said to Capper.

“Wait, why me?” he asked quizzically.

“Because I can tell you have a problem.”

“I don’t have a problem with you, honest,” he said in a panic.

“Calm down, that’s not what I mean. I mean I know you’ve been through some things and you’re still struggling. Just know I’m open to talk about it when you’re ready. You might have some greed in your heart, but it’s not out of malicious intent. You’ve lost a lot, and trust me when I say I can feel your pain.”

He looked at me, wide-eyed, as he looked down, his ears folded against his head.

“I think I will. Thanks.”

He then walked off to join the rest of the crowd.

The town or city was much bigger and more populated than I thought. It took around three hours for everyone to gather their stuff and be outside the city.

“All right, let’s do this.”

With that, I poured a good chunk of my neutral energy into my hands before slamming them to the ground. Using the alchemy technique and overhaul at the same time allowed me to, within a matter of minutes, tear the place down before rebuilding it higher and much better. The walls were stronger, the buildings much more solid, and I even raised a wall for added protection.

When I was done, I looked back and nearly laughed my ass off at the looks on their faces.

After regaining my breath, I clapped my hands loud enough for the entire crowd to hear me.

“All right, listen here. We’re gonna go in here, organize, and get things in much better condition than they were before. I will help you sort out your homes and all of your belongings personally. By the next day, everyone should be back in business.

“I know you weren’t expecting such a big and drastic change, but trust me when I say it’s better to roll with the punches. I promise you, though, just like I’ve promised the people I brought with me, I will make you the same promise: I will change your life for the better. Trust and believe in that.”

“Well, you definitely have my support,” Capper said as he walked up to me. A few of the other residents began to nod their approval as well.

And soon the entire crowd seemed to come to an agreement.

“Good, let’s get to work, people.”

After this, a few individuals were assigned to be part of the council I’m putting together.

“We have much to do to turn this place around.”

And with that, they went in and began to work.

Oi, oi, oi, what a pain, but hell, it is what it is.
