TRYING TO SETTLE PART 2

(Sureiyā 1st pov)

After leaving City Hall, I stopped by my house to change my clothes. I kept the black pants but switched to a black sleeveless vest. I added two armbands around my left arm and one around my right. This time, I decided to leave my mask behind. Overall, I was feeling pretty good at the moment.

As I walked down the road, I noticed the happy, smiling faces of the residents. “You’ve really managed to turn this place around Master,” Shion said with delight. She was right; this place was definitely doing a complete one-eighty from what it once was.

As I continued walking, I noticed a familiar green-skinned goblin approaching. “Hey, what’s up, Gobuko?” I greeted her. But the look on her face told me something was wrong—she seemed upset, maybe even a little down.

She kept her eyes on the ground, but the sadness was clear on her face.

“Hey, what’s wrong?” I asked, though she didn’t answer right away. Still, I had a pretty good idea why she might be upset.

Finally, she looked up at me and spoke. “Sureiya, can I ask you something in private?”

“Yeah, sure,” I replied as we made our way back to my house. It wasn’t anything fancy, just a simple stone-and-brick building with my chimera symbol carved into the door. Inside, it was well-furnished with the essentials—a bathroom, kitchen, and bedroom. I had even added a bookshelf to store some of the books I collected from the Castle of the Two Sisters. The living room had two couches and a coffee table, just enough for my needs.

As we entered the living room and sat down on the couch, I asked, “Would you like anything to drink?”

“No, thank you. I’m fine,” she replied.

“Well, you’re not acting like you’re fine, so spill it. What’s the problem?”

She looked down, hesitating before finally asking, “Umm, I was wondering… are you in a relationship?”

There it is, I thought to myself. I should’ve seen this coming. Maybe letting my demonic, lustful urges take control wasn’t the best idea.

“No, I’m not,” I said. “Although, there are a few beautiful girls who’ve caught my eye.”

Hearing this, her head shot up, and she looked at me. “Wait, really?” she asked.

“Well, yeah,” I replied, smirking as I put my arm around her shoulders and pulled her close. “One of them’s sitting right next to me.”

I swear it was like watching a tomato turn from green to red—Gobuko blushed so hard. She started stuttering, struggling to form a coherent sentence.

“Yo, chill, Shawty. Breathe,” I said, trying to calm her down. She finally managed to compose herself, though she still wore that adorable blush.

“Me?” she asked shyly.

“Yeah, you,” I said, winking at her.

“Gobuko, you might be a goblin, but you’re still a beautiful girl. You’re kind, sweet, and very caring. Not to mention, straight-up adorable when you do your little quirky things,” I teased, watching her blush even harder.

“It’s not funny,” she protested.

“Oh, but it definitely is,” I grinned, wiggling my fingers in front of her with a devilish smirk.

“No!” she said, wide-eyed, trying to back away.

“Yes,” I said, getting closer.

“Don’t you dare,” she warned, getting up to run. But I simply formed my tail from my back and wrapped it around her waist, pulling her back to me.

“Sureiya, you better not,” she said.

I smiled as I brought my fingers to her chin, gently scratching. She tried to resist, but eventually, she gave me the reaction I was looking for.

Purrr,,,,purrr,,,, purrr

I discovered this little quirk of hers and have been taking full advantage of it ever since. It’s beyond adorable, and she’s usually weak against it.

When I finally stopped, she swatted me with a pouty look. “What? Don’t look at me like that—it’s not my fault you go into a purring fit every time I scratch your chin.”

“Still, it’s embarrassing,” she muttered.

“Too bad, I like it anyway,” I replied. “And I think I know why you asked if I was dating anyone earlier. Just so you know, it was Miia who was in the bath with me. I could sense you and the others outside the door the whole time.”

“Oh, I see. How did you even end up in that situation?” she asked, genuinely curious.

“She tried to cook.” Upon hearing that, she grimaced. “If she’s anything like her mother, I can assume it didn’t go well.”

“Very much so. I swear, it was somehow both raw and burnt at the same time, and I swear to the gods above, it was alive somehow.”

“Oof,” she winced at the thought.

“Yeah, but I’ve decided I’ll teach her how to actually cook.”

“Anyway, I guess she realized it wasn’t a great attempt, and it hurt her feelings, so I was trying to cheer her up. I took her to the bathhouse to help her relax and forget about it, but my demon side got the best of me, and I got a little too hands-on.”

“Did you go all the way?” she asked, blushing at the thought.

“No, I pulled back before it could go that far.”

My answer seemed to bring her some relief, so I decided to tease her a bit. “Tell me, were you hoping to get some hands-on experience?” I said, walking up to her and wrapping my arms around her waist, pulling her close. “I mean, I definitely wouldn’t mind.”

And just like that, she was back to blushing like a ripe tomato. “Honestly, with you being this close and looking as beautiful as you are, it’s really taking a lot for me not to take you to my bedroom,” I said, leaning in to kiss the side of her neck.

“Sureiya…” she stuttered, whimpering a bit at the sensation of my lips on her neck. “Tell me, Gobuko, do you think you could handle someone like me? I might be too rough on you.”

“But I guess that can’t be helped. Being this close to you has me all excited,” I added, reaching down to give her ass a squeeze. Her ass , much like Rumi’s, was just as plump and luscious, seeming to melt around my hand.

Honestly, her figure is the kind Cardi B wishes she had naturally. Most of the girls are like that.

Before anything else could happen, a knock echoed from the door. I instantly recognized who was behind it, so I called out, “Doors open.”

As the door creaked open, Miia, Rumi, Boosette, and Rachnera entered the room. Their eyes immediately fell on me, holding Gobuko in my arms. The air in the room thickened as their expressions shifted—anger and envy clearly visible.

“Well, looks like you two are having a good time,” Rachnera said, her voice dripping with irritation.

“Yeah, real cozy,” Rumi added, equally annoyed.

Boosette stayed silent, but the envious blush on her face said more than words could. Miia, however, stepped or rather, slithered forward with a sharp edge to her tone. “You know, you really shouldn’t be hugging up like that in front of everyone,” she muttered, eyes narrowing. “You’re going to make people jealous… or at least some people.”

Gobuko, said nothing but shot Miia a knowing glance, her eyes practically saying, You’re one to talk.

I knew I had to stop this before it escalated, so I calmly walked to the door, shut it, and locked it behind me. “Alright, girls,” I said, turning to face them. “Let’s sit down and discuss this like civilized adults.”

We all settled into the living room, tension still hanging in the air. I took a moment, gathering my thoughts before finally speaking. “You know,” I began with a wry smile, “I’m honestly flattered. It’s not every day a guy finds himself surrounded by so many beautiful women, all showing interest in him.”

My words had the desired effect—they all blushed deeply, clearly embarrassed that I had so easily called out their feelings.

“If I’m being completely honest,” I continued, “each of you is incredible in your own way. And I’d be lying if I said I didn’t feel the same toward all of you.”

Their faces softened, but before they could get too comfortable, I added, “However, where I’m from, relationships are strictly monogamous. The idea of being with more than one person is… well, it’s considered taboo.”

The mood shifted as their expressions fell. The disappointment was evident, but I wasn’t done yet. “But,” I said, catching their attention once more, “this isn’t my old world. I’m well aware of the gender imbalance here, and I know that polygamous relationships are more common.”

I paused, looking each of them in the eye. “So, if your feelings are genuine… I’d be more than happy to give it a shot.”

My response made their eyes light up, and before I could even react, they all rushed me, engulfing me in a flurry of warm embraces. If it weren’t for my supernatural strength, I’m pretty sure they would’ve tipped me and the couch over. But instead, I smiled, unfurling my wings and wrapping them gently around the girls, pulling them closer into a cocoon of comfort and warmth.

Shion soon emerged from my body, grinning mischievously as she joined the hug. Thankfully, this time she was wearing something—though just a sweater that barely reached her knees. “Oh my, I can’t wait. This is going to be so much fun,” she purred, her voice dripping with lust and mischief.

“Shion, behave,” I warned, already knowing how playful she could get.

“I’m just saying, Master,” she teased in a low, sultry tone, “I can only imagine the fun that’s ahead.” Her husky voice sent shivers down my spine, making me groan in exasperation while the other girls blushed.

I sighed inwardly, Well, I brought this on myself. Still, part of me couldn’t help but think that maybe everything would turn out just fine.

After we finally disentangled from the hug, I glanced outside and noticed it was getting dark, the sun and moon trading places in the sky. “Hey girls, what do you say tomorrow we go out and try some of the new food places they’re opening nearby?”

Their eyes sparkled with excitement, and Mia was the first to speak up. “Are you… asking us on a date?” she stammered, blushing deeply.

I chuckled softly. “Well, yeah, I guess I am. So, what do you say? Are you up for it?”

They all nodded eagerly, their enthusiasm lighting up the room. “Perfect,” I said. “Tomorrow at noon, then. Sound good?”

With another round of enthusiastic nods, our plans were set. As they started to head out, I found myself sinking into the couch with a deep breath.

“You’ve got this, Master,” Shion reassured me, her voice soft for once.

“Yeah, thanks.” I sat there, lost in thought, reflecting on everything that had led me here. “I died, got reincarnated as a supernatural chimera of sorts, and now, I’m about to go on a date with six beautiful girls.”

“Six?” Shion raised an eyebrow, amused by my words. Before she could say anything more, I pulled her into a sudden kiss. Her lips were warm, soft, and when I broke away, I stared into her glowing red eyes.

“You didn’t think I’d leave you out, did you? You may be a part of me, Shion, but as far as I’m concerned, this extends to you too. I care deeply for you—more than I can express with words.”

Her expression softened, and she cupped my cheek with both hands. “I’m truly glad I chose you as my Master,” she whispered, tears of happiness welling up in her eyes.

“Yeah… I am too,” I replied, my heart swelling with emotion. For once, my strange luck is actually paying off in a way that makes me truly happy, and I just know more strange things are bound to happen to my black ass, but hey, it is what it is.
