After finishing playing music on the guitar, she in turn, disappears in a red flame, leaving only a feeling of emptiness inside

Night, she kept sitting next to me, waiting for me to talk to her first, but judging by the nervous tick of her hoof, she was losing patience

Gathering his thoughts, Night decides to ask a question "Boy, what is bothering you now?"

Coming out of my trance, I switch to her and then to my hands

"I have a mess in my head right now" I tell her "So many questions come, and I can't find the answers in any way"

"So speak out" she touching me "Ask me what you want to know, if possible, I will answer you"

Gathering my thoughts, I ask her questions "How is all this happening to me? Why do they hate me so much? What did I do wrong? I don't even understand the meaning of my existence if everyone who sees me wants me dead" in the end I start screaming at her with tears in my eyes

Night looked at me with a serious look in her eyes, after all these questions. But then, her expression softened and the only thing I felt was understanding

"Boy, come closer" she invites me with her wing so that I sit next to her "I'll tell you this, I used to ask myself the same questions, but unfortunately, I won't be able to answer all your questions, because I don't know how to answer my own"

"And how did you try to cope with it?" I ask her

She thought for a while, but then answered "I found my goal and went to it, removing all obstacles along the way" looked at the moon with a serious look

"Are you still going to her?"

"Yes, despite all the circumstances, I will go with her to the end and you will help me with this, and don't even argue" she said

• I'm not even arguing — I raise my hands, showing that I won't argue — But, will you help me with my goal?

"It depends on what you want" she looked at me suspiciously

After thinking a little, I answer her "I want two things, to learn to talk normally and find happiness in life"

"Is that all?" she was disappointed "I thought you would dream of more"

"It's easy for you to say" I turn away from her resentfully "I haven't talked to people all my life, and I haven't tasted anything tastier than a stolen apple" I point at her with my finger "And judging by your stories, you lived happily ever after, not knowing problems. So tell me, what else can I dream about, if not about this?"

Night rolls his eyes and says softly "You'll grow up, we'll see"

After sitting in silence for a while, I have a question "How long will I sleep?"

Night closed her eyes and didn't answer me for a long time. I sat in silence and waited for her to answer me, but after five minutes, I ask her a question again

"How long will I sleep?" I say it again, but there was no answer either

Thinking that she ignores me, I start poking her a little with my finger in the neck area

There was no response

After the third "poke", her right eye twitched. I was about to poke her again, when suddenly, with a loud clatter of her hooves, she interrupted me and looked at me with wild anger

"What kind of discord are you doing?" she growls at me

I was afraid of such a reaction, lowered my head and quietly answered her "I thought you were ignoring me"

"Can't you see that?" she hisses at me "I checked the time of day outside and your physical condition"

"Please forgive me" I started apologizing "I just got bored"

"Since you got bored, then I know what you're going to do now and believe me, you'll be sitting here for a long time" he finishes with a predatory smile

"Okay, okay, I understand, but please answer my question"

She languidly exhales air and answers "Because of the severe injuries that you have recently received, you will sleep for at least two more days"

"Just fine," I say sarcastically, "it's going to be my never to be forgotten voyage on this damn ship." The most unpleasant thing, I'm not even safe in my sleep

"Therefore, you will have to go into someone else's dream again. Although the last nightmare was perfect" remembering this, it makes me shudder "But one will not be enough, and therefore, while the sun has not yet risen, you must still work"

Not even getting up from my seat, I remember one moment "And when will we have more classes?" I ask her

"Classes will be in the morning when everyone wakes up, and now, go and work" she takes me with her magic and throws me out the nearest door

Finding myself in someone else's dream, I almost vomited again from the rapid change of scenery "It looks like I won't get used to this," I thought

Looking around, I realized that I was in a ship familiar to me, "Even if this is the only ship I've been in." Walking through the dark corridors, I heard a woman's voice carrying not far from me, not knowing the best direction, I went towards the voice

With each step, walking towards the voice, it seemed to me that the voice was quite familiar to me, but whose I do not remember. When I reached the large doors with the inscription "Dining Room", I realized my location, entering through them, a strange picture appeared to me. The entire dining room was empty except for two people, one of whom was Me and Yon?

Creeping slowly so as not to attract too much attention, I was able to make sure that Yon was sitting at the table and feeding my double with a spoon

"Eat, eat, you'll be healthy and strong" brings a new spoonful of food "Poor, no one understands you, only I understand your peculiarity" and wipes my double with a napkin

Seeing such a picture, I felt uneasy and therefore, I slowly headed for the exit. But unexpectedly for me, a blue fog passes in front of me, from which a cart with unstable kitchen utensils appeared. Not having time to stop in time, I crash into her and a large mountain of dishes began to fall in my direction

I closed my eyes and stretched my arms out in front to protect myself from the blow, but to my surprise, there was no blow

Slowly opening my eyes, I noticed that my hands were glowing with a blue glow, and the dishes were frozen in the same color. Moving my hands side to side, the dishes began to move in the direction of my hands

"Wow," I thought, examining my hands

"And let's try it like this" and I do, a click of the fingers of my right hand, after my click, the cart with dishes evaporates in a blue-red fog

I was about to rejoice at my victory, when suddenly Yon asks from afar "Is there someone here?"

I was lucky that I was standing next to the door and with a quick movement I find myself behind them

Thinking about what had happened, I heard a quiet step coming in my direction. Without thinking for a long time, I clap my hands three times so that Night will pull me out of here, but the answer to me was silence

"Come on," I think and clap again, but again nothing happened

I'm in a wild panic trying to get through to Night, so she pulled me out, but she didn't hear me, and the footsteps were getting louder and louder

Thinking that this is the end, I decide to get out of this dream on my own

"So Feel, calm down and concentrate on the exit," I think to myself

Calming down a bit, I stretch my right hand out in front, waiting for a click, and hold my right hand, with my left. Thinking only about the exit, I close my eyes and make a click, frozen in this position, I slowly open my eyes and see a black hole with a blue outline

"I did it, I did it," I rejoice, but at the same moment, the door behind me began to open and without thinking for a long time, I jump into it

"Hey, who's there?" the last thing I heard

Next I see is the cosmic sky that my face is falling against

"Damn, it hurts" I get up and swear "I didn't think the sky was so hard" I rub my nose

Then Night comes up to me and looks at with his cunning smile

"Tell me, what were you trying to achieve?" I ask her with resentment

"Well, I don't know" fake she wonders "I just wanted to have fun, wasn't it funny?" then her mane approaches me and grabs my cheek "Who is offended here?"

"Tell me, did you know?" my eyebrow rises

"Maybe," she replies, "But wasn't it an good practice, wasn't it? Only in a critical situation, a mortal can show his potential"

"Why didn't you pull me out when I called you?"

Then her gaze becomes stricter "Do you want me to help you all the time? Be more independent and learn to choose what you want!"

I didn't find the words to somehow object to her, if you think about it, her methods are not perfect, but very effective

"Listen to Night" I call her "Did you say that I should be independent?" she nods "That I have to make my own decisions" she nods "Then I decide who to do nightmares in a dream and who not!"

She wanted to nod, but immediately stopped

"Don't bend the stick, kid" her face becomes gloomy "You allow yourself too much"

I plug my ears with my fingers and tell her "I can't hear anything, I made a decision here myself, and you have to accept it"

Having a little quarrel with herself, she languidly exhales air and wearily says "Okay, yours has taken" I take my fingers out of my ears and listen to her attentively "But on one condition, you have to wake people up with your nightmares. Do you understand me?"

I reluctantly agree with her

The following days, during the day Night taught me magic, and at night I woke people up with my nightmares and did not notice, how four whole days had passed since I fell asleep

"Are you sure you want to wake up?" she asks me

Over the past few days, Night has looked much better than usual, her fur has become darker, her look is more expressive, and her mood has rarely fallen lately. It seemed that the "Magic of Nightmares" was doing her good

"Yes, I'm sure" I answer seriously "While we were sitting here, I had a few questions for the locals"

"Okay, you know it" she waves it off "But just in case, I say, you can expect an unusual reaction from people"

Not really understanding her warnings, I activate my magic to wake up. Recently, Night began to save her magic and therefore, all the responsibility fell on me "but I think she just got lazy"

The next second I wake up, already in the familiar medical chamber and fortunately fully clothed

Removing the blanket from me, I was about to get to my feet, but when I was able to stand on the floor, my legs could not stand me and with a loud thud, I fall to the floor

Lying on the cold floor, I examine my feet and realize "Looks like i been lying still for too long"

At the same moment, Yon bursts into the rooms with her brother and looks around shouting "Who is there?" when she sees me, she immediately pounces on me and shouts loudly "What luck, you woke up, and we were worried"

Yut comes up behind her and looks around nervously "Um, hello"

I look at him with a misunderstanding, and then I turn to Yon and try to ask with my look "What's going on here?"

Yon looks at me with a question and doesn't understand what I'm trying to ask. After a while, she hits herself on the forehead and runs away, promising to come back

Only Yut, Scales and I were left in the room, an awkward silence hung between us and between all of us, only Yut could talk, but he was scared of something and constantly looked around

After some time, Yon returns and she brought something with her

"Here you go" she holds out a black diary "This is so that you can write to us about what you are thinking"

Nodding for this fit, I take it and immediately write my question on it "What is he scared of?"

After reading the question, she shrugs it off "Don't worry, just lately, many of our people have been sleeping badly and having nightmares" she approaches me and says quietly "Someone started a rumor that you are a ghost" after that she quietly began to laugh "I don't believe in ghosts, but all this seems funny"

"It's not funny" Yut shouts "How can you know that they don't exist?"

"I just know it" she replies sarcastically and switches to me "Because of all this turmoil, our mother can not calm all people in any way and constantly receives written complaints about it"

Listening to this conversation, I think I began to understand what Night wanted to warn me about

"Come on, now we'll give you a tour of our ship" Yon takes me by the hand "You've overslept too much, and there's a lot to see here"

And the whole company of us (Me, Yon, Yut and Scales) left the office and headed in an unknown direction to me

Passing through the dark corridors of the ship, we not infrequently encountered other people, passing by them, and they, in turn, cast at me uneven glances, ranging from fear to anger

"Don't pay attention to them" says Yon "Consider them all just didn't get enough sleep"

Hearing her words, I felt guilty for their lack of sleep

"I warned you" Night started talking in my head "Especially since you chose your own goals for nightmares and what a coincidence, you did it with those who thought badly of you, and they turned out to be most of the crew"

"I didn't think it would affect them that much," I say to Night, "I just wanted them to feel what I felt."

"Not my problem," she says, "deal with it yourself."

While I was talking to Night, I didn't notice how we reached a certain door

"Now, we are back at the training ground" says Yon "At the moment, we have to introduce you to Pharynx, he is responsible for the protection and training of our people"

"Last time, he was not at the training ground" adds Yut "As far as I know, then he was dealing with his brother, I do not know the details, but be careful with him"

I look at them with a misunderstanding and Yon decides to explain, simultaneously opening the door

"The fact is that he is very strict and demanding of results" here she turns to a whisper "He does not like weaklings and therefore hold on"

And at that moment, I heard a loud male voice

"WHY ARE WE RELAXING" he shouts "YOU ARE NOT IN KINDERGARTEN, NO ONE WILL WIPE YOUR TEARS HERE, YOU ARE THE SUPPORT OF OUR FAMILY, SO SHOW WHAT YOU ARE WORTH"

We approach him quietly, Yon and Yut synchronously stand up and synchronously say "Let me disturb you"

"WHAT DO YOU WANT" he shouts, turning to us "I HEARD THE VOICE OF LAZINESS HERE?"

Noticing us, his gaze became stricter, and even more so, noticing me, it seemed to me that he had something crunched. His appearance showed all his rigor, but he was dressed in some form unfamiliar to me, decorated with ribbons and medals shone brightly on his chest. It was not difficult to distinguish him from the others, his hair was of minimal size and had a dark scarlet color, as if they were made of his blood, and his eyes were gloomy and their color was pale purple. Also, if you look closely, you will see large black dents on your hands

"Who do I see" he spoke more quietly "Yes, this is our 'mute ghost', I was waiting for you and thought when he deigned to come to me" here he takes me by the jacket and lifting it up, brings it to his face " I don't like you, you are the very personification of the shame of our kind, but nothing, I 'll knock out all the nonsense that you have and start right now" and he throws me aside

Then Yon immediately caught herself "Well, stop it" Pharynx turns to her "Don't overdo it, he just woke up recently and is just recovering"

Pharynx comes up to her tight and drills her with a look

Yon, weighing on his arm, began to smile "Even though you have more strength and a higher position, but" her smile turns into a more predatory one "I can already see how you will report to our mother for beating our recruit"

Pharynx dissatisfied tsked and began to let her go to the ground

"And how long will his 'superiority' be restored?" he asks hissing

Looking at me, Yon answers "1 day, give us a day to recover and you can safely take him to training" Her voice becomes stricter "But do not forget, if he falls unconscious again, you will not be able to get rid of your loyalty"

She comes up to me, helps me up and we walk away together

"STAND STILL" he stops us "Why do you need so many people, let only one accompany the beginner" he points his finger at Yut "You stay and you will train"

I don't know why, but he didn't resist much and goes to training

Yon didn't pay much attention to this and together we headed for the exit

When we were outside the door, I take the diary and write in it the question "Why did he stay there so easily?"

After reading it, she replies "You can't argue with him, but he will remember it to you. And now, come on, I'll show you our 'farm'"

Nodding in response, we headed in an unknown direction for me

But Yon decided not to go in silence and asks me a question "Tell me, or rather write, what is wrong with your dog?"

Not understanding the question, I ask her, "But more precisely?"

"Well, look" she points with her finger "Do you see her now?" I nod "And I see her, but for reasons unknown to me, no one notices her anymore. So that's what's wrong with her?"

I write to her, "I don't know myself, consider it her breed feature"

After reading it, she looks at Scales with bewilderment "She is some kind of very strange dog. Also, it seems to me or she understands what we're talking about" after that, Scales ear twitched "When you were unconscious, I sat with her periodically, I don't know how, but I say anything, she understood me half a word"

At that moment we reached a dead end and just when I thought we were lost, Yon boldly headed on

"Why froze, we have already arrived" and at this moment, she enters the wall and disappears from my sight

I was shocked by what I saw and then Night spoke up

I snap out of my stupor and nod at her advice. The next moment, I do not confidently approach the wall with my arm outstretched forward, but before I could touch it, a hand grabs me and pulls me to myself, the next moment, I found myself behind the wall, in a new room

"And now, let me introduce you, our farm is solemnly" presented by Yon

Looking around, I was completely shocked by what I saw. There were dozens of large incubators everywhere, pipes were connected to them, in each incubator there was green slime, and sleeping people were swimming in it

I slowly approach one of the nearest ones and was about to touch them, but someone else's hand stopped me

"Don't touch it" a quiet and frightened male voice spoke "Be careful, or else you may be punished"

"And - this is Yon coming up to us" A local watchman, his name is Thorax

Looking at this guy, I felt sorry for him, he looked smaller and weaker compared to his brothers, I didn't see his hair, they were covered with a blue scarf, and his eyes were bright blue

"You are this, I'm sorry for stopping you so abruptly" he stammers apologizes "It's just that I was assigned a task so that no one would touch this, even me"

After accepting his apology, I switched back to these capsules, I don't know why, but they do bring not pleasant memories, from which it becomes very painful for me all over my body

With these words, Yon returns to us with a glass of water

I nod at her answer. Holding a glass of cool water in my hands, I abruptly drain it to the bottom, looking into the empty bottom, a question arises in my mind, I pick up a diary and write in it "Does she know?" and show it to Thorax

After reading it, he answers me with a smile "Yes, he knows and the glory of our mother, she and her brother sat down to my advice, look" Yon shows me "She is a pretty cheerful girl and this, almost without the essence of love"

After not sitting like that for a long time, Yon decides to talk "Okay, we're off, we need to look somewhere else"

"OK, go" Thorax says goodbye "If anything, come in, I don't mind your company"

"Absolutely" says Yon, takes my hand and together we leave

After passing through the wall of illusion, we walked in silence and only Night decided to speak

"Listen, if think about it like that, then that kid says the thing" says Night "We don't have any future here and therefore, I recommend going to escape"

"Even if I agree, where will I go? There is only water around us!"

"They said something about Manehatten!" recalls Night "I think this will be our destination"

"We'll wait and see," I tell her
