I've been thinking a lot recently, there's little else to do in such an empty place.
Life begins and ends, everything does, sometimes small things begin and end independently and sometimes large endings occur, events that truly change everything.

Births happen everyday, usually they're not important... My birth was different, the beginning of my life began the end of all else, an event larger than any other we've ever known.

My name is Florentina, or I guess I should be calling myself 'Princess Florentina', I did steal this crown after all.
It seems my life will be coming to an end soon, in the meantime, I'll just spend a little time reflecting...

This story will explain the origins of Florentina, The Pestilence and serves as a prequel to Applebloom and the Floating Windmill.
