The Rainbow Stallion
Wet
Previous ChapterNext ChapterIt began to rain, I knew it because from the barely audible raindrops and thunders in the distance, I always liked rain, it somewhat made me feel relaxed. Applejack began to dose off, I was still wide awake, I couldn't even think about sleeping after those events, I still needed to apologize to Fluttershy, I feel ashamed now for hitting her, a mare especially, I couldn't even think of hurting another pony, but I just lost it then. Guess I can't keep my cool all the time.
The raindrops and thunders became louder and faster, it looked like a storm was already here, as I said before, I love rain. Sometimes it even drove me into a calm nap, but not today, my senses were still on alert.
The purple unicorn and Fluttetshy didn't come down for a long while, I've been waiting for hours here with Applejack. I decided to get myself comfortable. I placed a cushion in front of me and lay my chin on it, and placed my right hoof on it too.
The library seemed lifeless, the only light source was the lighting outside and the fireplace inside. I turned to see Applejack deep asleep.
I shifted and lay on my back, hooves sticking up in the air, I streched, the bones delightfully popping.
It was probably past midnight, it was just a guess, I didn't know exactly. There wasn't a clock nearby, well there probably was but I couldn't see it right now.
I closed my eyes, and opened them a second later, the corners of my vision began to turn red, I blinked a couple of times to clear it off, but the red became stronger with every second. A bright flash and a loud boom made me jump from the cushions, my tail shot up and spazzed, so did the rest of my body. I probably jumped a couple of hooves (feet?) in the air. As I descended back to the cushions, I was shaking furiously, I was so freaked out by that boom. I curled up to a ball and placed a cushion ontop of me. Loud noises always scared the buck out of me. Thankfully Applejack didn't wake up from the loud noise, I sighed and relaxed.
There was a doorknock, I removed the cushion from myself and stood up, I walked towards the door and turned the doorknob, outside, stood a very soaked stallion, with a white coat and a blue mixed with green mane which covered his eyes, he was trembling in the cold. I knew what I was supposed to do in these situations. I fully opened the door and gestured for him to come in, I never wanted to leave a pony out, especially in the rain.
After he entered the library, I shut the door again, the stallion made his way up to the fireplace, he was rougly my size, maybe a few inches taller, also his body was more muscle toned than mine, mine looked like a mare's, and I was not happy about it!
I made my way up to him and placed a few cushions for him to sit on, he gladly did, I recovered a blanket from a couch and placed it over him. He stopped trembling and smiled up at me then stood up and faced me, our faces inches away.
The next thing he did almost made me pass out.
