Equestria: World War II (1939-1941)

It was now almost 5:00pm in Equestria. Celestia and Luna were getting ready to give their address to the whole world about the Discord situation. After their address, Cadance would also make an address in the Crystal Empire, stating their reactions to the revelation, and what steps they would be taking to prevent Discord from infiltrating their society. The Princesses' address would be broadcast live to the whole world, on television and radio. Everyone would be watching it, even soldiers on the frontlines.

The hunt for the Destroyer of Discord was still on, but it had been temporarily halted now that the whole world knew that Discord was out, and further steps were being taken to ensure that the hunt was kept secret, as they didn't want Discord to figure out that the Destroyer was on Earth, and that it was being hunted for. The Princesses couldn't help wondering if Discord was the one who had sent the classified documents to the ENA, by secretly stealing them from the castle. But chaos magic detectors had been installed all over, even in the archives, and they hadn't detected Discord, so it was more likely that there was a mole in the Equestrian government.

As the Princesses got ready to make the address, the new technology assistant let them know that they would be going live in five minutes, and that they got be ready before that. The Princesses nodded and continued to prepare their address, thinking of what they would say to a world that had now found out that they had unleashed a horror like Discord upon them. They carefully wrote the address, to make sure that they didn't accidentally put the world into more panic than it already was.

The surveillance on the ENA and HNA by the S.M.I.L.E. and S.I.S. had also stepped up, now that such a thing had occurred. They wanted to make sure there had been no further correspondence between the two organisations, and to make sure that they weren't planning something else together. In fact, they were now planning to send a mole from S.I.S. into the ENA, and a S.M.I.L.E. mole into the ENA, to get more intel on their activities, and what they were planning next.

As they got ready for the address, they were a little stressed. Not surprising, considering the whole world had found out that a spirit of chaos was on their planet, and it had come from the peaceful land that Equestria was supposed to be. They all wanted answers? The Princesses would give them to the public. As they thought about, Spark said, "Your Highnesses, we're going live in 60 seconds. Get ready."

"Thank you, Spark. We're pretty much ready over here." said Celestia, feeling ready to give her statement to the whole world. A minute later, the broadcast began, on both radio and television, and Celestia began reading her statement. The camera panned across the grand throne room of Canterlot Castle, showing the majestic architecture and ornate decorations. The princesses, Celestia and Luna, sat regally on their thrones, their expressions grave and serious. The air was thick with tension as they began their address to the world.

"My dear citizens of Equestria," Celestia's voice echoed across the globe, "and citizens of the world beyond our borders, we gather before you today to address a matter of utmost gravity. As you are now aware, a spirit of chaos has been unleashed upon our world. Discord, once thought to be contained, has broken free and is now wreaking havoc across the land." The camera cut to a shot of the Princesses' faces, their eyes filled with concern and determination. "We understand that this news has caused great fear and uncertainty among our people. But we want to assure you that we are doing everything in our power to contain this threat and restore order to our world. We have mobilized our military forces, and our agents are working tirelessly to track down Discord and put an end to its destructive path."

Luna spoke up next, her voice filled with a sense of urgency. "We urge all citizens to remain calm and vigilant. We will not tolerate any acts of violence or aggression towards one another. We must stand united against this common enemy and work together to rebuild and protect our world."

Celestia continued, her voice firm but measured. "We will also be taking steps to increase security measures throughout Equestria, including installing chaos magic detectors in major cities and towns. We will work closely with our allies and partners to share intelligence and coordinate our efforts against this threat."

As the Princesses concluded their address, the camera panned out to show the throne room in all its glory. The audience was left with a sense of hope and determination, knowing that their leaders were working tirelessly to protect them from the chaos that had descended upon their world. As the cameras switched off, now that the broadcast was over, the Princesses knew that replays of this statement would be played world over. Hopefully, this would calm people and ponies all over.

In a dark dingy basement in a large rural house, somewhere well away from any cities, the HNA was gathered. They had just heard the Princesses' statement live on the radio, and they were making a new plan. Since they had no plans to work with the ENA or ANY humans for that matter, they needed a new way to send Equestria and the Crystal Empire back to their home planet. Those barbaric humans did not deserve to mingle with the peace-loving Equestrians. Why, they had caused their countries to get involved in this horrid war, and already, 15 ponies had died fighting on the frontlines with the humans.

The humans had no place in the peace-loving land that Equestria was, and the head of the HNA, former Chancellor Neighsay, had been fired from his position in the Equestrian Educational Association for saying exactly that. They had wanted to have human students study with ponies, and vice versa. But no, just because he had said the right things, Neighsay had been kicked out of the EEA, for telling the truth. Well, they were going to regret it, though the HNA members, as they waited for Neighsay, and their member who had helped them expose the truth on the Equestrians covering up Discord's escape to the public.

There were now a total of 70 members in the HNA, and since the truth on Discord had been exposed to the world, a total of 20 new members had joined the HNA. However, they were nowhere as large as the ENA, which now had upwards of 16,000 members. Suddenly, one of the doormen at the room declared, "All rise for the honorable Supreme Leader of the HNA, former Chancellor Neighsay!"

All of the HNA members stood up, as Neighsay entered the room, along with another pony. This pony was wearing an HNA uniform, but under it was a suit, the kind worn by an Equestrian diplomat. They instantly recognized this pony. He was Slick Shady, a high-ranking diplomat who had recently been working with the HNA. In the public eye, Shady was seen as a pony who quite enjoyed working with humans, and he had even been photographed with the American President. However, in reality, he hated humans, and this was the side of him that the public did not see or know, except for the HNA.

It was thanks to his government clearance that the HNA had secured Nobel-808 to carry out the bombing in Fillydelphia, and the documents about Discord, which they had sent to the ENA, to purposely turn humans against ponies. However, now with the Princesses' address, that plan had not worked as well as they thought it had, as a lot of people still seemed to be siding with the Equestrians. However, that was when Neighsay began speaking. "Greetings, my followers and fellow human-haters. Today, we gather to celebrate our, um, partial success , thanks to our distinguished member, Slick Shady!" said Neighsay, and all of the HNA members began cheering. But Neighsay interrupted them by speaking again.

"My friends, this is not a time for celebration. It is time to get to work on our ultimate plan. We need to go back to Equis, and soon. The war is heating up. And for that, our friend here, Shady, has gotten someone. Guards, bring them here!" said Neighsay, as his guards dragged four ponies into the room. They were scientists, going by the lab coats they were wearing, but seemed to have been badly beaten up, presumably as they had been kidnapped.

"Humans Not Allowed, these ponies you see before you are some of our leading scientists, who have decades of experience studying magic, and currently, they were researching about portals to other worlds." said Slick Shady, in a cunning voice. "We have given them a surprise recruitment into the HNA, and they are going to create the portal that will send us home."

"Thank you, Shady, for bringing them here. Soon, we shall be back on our home planet, where we truly belong, without any pesky humans around!" said Neighsay, to a really loud cheer by all of the HNA members. As they continued cheering, they hoped that soon, they would be back home on Equis.
