In 1017, after over six years of ceaseless war between Equestria and the Changelings, The Great War is nearing its end. The Equestria stands at the gates of Vesalipolis, the capital of the Changeling Lands. With its capture would mean an end to the war that has cost the lives of millions on both sides. 

Sweet Talker, a pilot within the Equestrian Air Force, has been left with his fighter squadron, the 111th or Triple-one in a bid to end the prolonged stalemate within Vesalipolis.

Triple-one is sent to defend a bombing raid on the city. This raid might be the one way to finish off the defenders of the city and render it capable of capture by Equestrian forces. Sweet Talker knows that this mission will be his last. One way, or another. 

This story is a part of the Equestria at War Alternate Universe, which is an acclaimed Hearts of Iron 4 mod set in a WWII-esque era within the MLP universe. Don’t worry though, if you’ve never played it, you’ll still be able to understand what’s going on.
