One that until recently, we had no clue existed.
PONYMON ADVENTURE
In a campsite not far from Ponyville, seven friends were busy setting up for a nice picnic.
Well, at least, six friends were setting up for a picnic. The seventh one was sitting in a tree snoozing.
She was a light blue Pegasus with an unruly rainbow colored mane and tail. On her flank was a rainbow colored lightning bolt. Needless to say, her name suited her.
"RAINBOW DASH! GIT YER FLANK DOWN HERE 'FORE I BUCK YOU OUT OF THAT TREE!" an orange pony with a blonde mane and brown Stetson called up, visibly annoyed at the blue Pegasus.
"In a moment AJ." Rainbow called down. "As soon as I finish my na-" She didn’t finish the sentence as Applejack turned around and kicked the tree, dislodging its guest.
"How about now?" the earth pony teased as Rainbow tried to get her bearings.
A few feet away, a small purple dragon with green spikes and a white unicorn with a perfectly styled purple mane were watching the scene with mild amusement as the two ponies began to argue.
"Well, I guess it’s an official gathering now that Applejack's knocked Rainbow out of a tree..." Spike said, trying to hold in his laughter.
"Y-yes darling, I can say it just isn't a picnic until they go at it at least once." Rarity said, starting to lose her calm composure as they started hoof wrestling.
"As funny as it is to watch those two fight," a purple unicorn with a lighter purple mane with a pink stripe in the middle of it interrupted." Could you guys please help? My magic has been acting up ever since all the strange activity started."
The three ponies and baby dragon sighed and went back to doing what they were doing before, except for Rainbow who went towards a pink pony and a yellow pegasus who were setting up around the table area.
"Hey Pinkie! Got anything I can do to help?" Rainbow asked the pink pony (obviously...).
"Nopie dopie! Fluttershy and I have it covered. In fact, while the author was distracting the audience and just putting in a bunch of filler, I got my party cannon and finished up what Twilight was trying to do!" Pinkie said as if nothing was wrong with what she just said.
"Er....right." Rainbow said with a bad poker face.
"Anyway, we should hurry before that Doozie my Pinkie Sense keeps picking up happens." she said as her back legs began twitching uncontrollably.
"Oh my!" Fluttershy exclaimed as the twitching moved up to her upper legs, making her float in the air in a slightly comical fashion. "I just hope it isn’t a hydra again..."
"Yeah, or another Chocolate flood in Neighpon..." Twilight noted with minor annoyance.
"Yeah," Spike sighed with a sigh as he thought of the aftermath and the stop in the pocky shop they had there. "That was awesome."
Everypony except Pinkie rolled their eyes. "Still, I don’t believe it’s not Discords doin all this stuff." Applejack said as she took a sip from her apple cider.
"But the princesses told us that he's still in that statue, and even with all the chaos that’s been going on, not even a crack has appeared." Spike replied, biting on an amethyst.
"Can we not talk about all the weird crap that’s been going on or Discord?" Twilight asked, visibly annoyed. "Let’s just enjoy this as much as we can before-"
Before we continue, there’s a law of the universe I should tell you about known as Murphy’s Law. The paraphrased version of which to avoid me talking utter nonsense being that if you say something bad is about to happen, it usually will within 3 to 4 seconds.
Today, it responded in 2.
A single snowflake floated gently onto Twilights muzzle, which caused her to look up.at the sky, and noticed it was becoming notably darker. And colder. In the middle of summer.
"Nevermind." she said as the snow began to fall faster. "Let’s get the Elements so we can rainbow the storm."
"You forget Egghead," Rainbow interrupted, flexing her wings. "I’m the Weather Captain! I can easily take care of a little snow storm!" as she said this, she began flying for the storm clouds.
Unfortunately for her, the statement she made fell into the Murphy trap. As if in challenge to the little pegasus, the 'little snowstorm began to get a bit larger and wilder, while flashing with lightning. Seeing this caused her to stop her ascent and forced her to head for the ground.
"Soooo, they're where we left em after we got back from Neighpon right?" she asked sheepishly.
All around the area, ponies began running (or flying in the pegasi case) for shelter as the small snowstorm became an unusually strong blizzard.
"Well, at least we know what the doozy was about." Rarity said in the shelter of the gazebo they had run under. Although her magic wasn’t up to its normal standard, Twilight was able to cast a small shield that kept most of the snow from coming under and Spike had lit a table on fire to keep them from freezing.
"S-s-s-sorry Rarity! Bu-bu-but that’s not the dooAH-CHOO!" Pinkie tried to say. Being herself, she just had tried to play in the snow before it got too serious. "Sniff...that’s not the doozy..."
By now, it had become impossible to see through the intense winds, which only served to puzzle the others. "Ok, if that’s not the doozy, then what is!?" Spike asked.
"DdddDont know.... But it’s one heck of a Doozy," Pinkie stammered out, taking a sip of chicken soup she had pulled from seemingly nowhere.
Soon, the Blizzard subsided, and the ponies ventured out to see if anything was horribly wrong, which luckily for them was not.
"Oh my gosh, I hope the animals are okay..." Fluttershy whispered more to herself than to the group.
"They should be fine." Twilight said as they started for Ponyville. "Remember, Celestia told us to be prepared for anything. Hopefully, Mayor Mare had an early winter wrap up in mind."
As they walked, they began hearing a high pitched sound.
"Great..." Rarity moaned. "First I have to walk through all this snow without my new boots, and now I’m beginning to hear things."
"Yer not the' only one." Applejack chimed in. "Minus the boots of course." she quickly added
"Is it just me, or is it getting louder?"
"Oh yeah! Now I hear it too! Wait! Ear flop, kneejerk, itchy back! And look! It’s a rainbow too!"
Sure enough, a beautiful array of rainbow lights had appeared in the sky. If not for the high pitched whining sound, it would be a sight to behold.
"It’s an Aurora!" Twilight said, entering full on egghead mode. "Those rarely ever appear this far out due to how difficult it is for the Crystal Ponies to send south!" Twilight said, remembering the adventure they had recently returned from.
"Which makes this weird. We weren’t told about any Aurora happening anytime soon. And it’s the middle of summer! Why would one be going on now?"
"Maybe it has something to do with the strange activity all around Equestria?" Spike chimed in.
"Not maybe." Applejack cut in. "Most definitely is more like it. Ah have a feelin that somethin along the lines of what happened everywhere else is about ta-"
"TWITCHA TWITCH! TWITCHA TWITCH!" As soon as Pinkie said 'twitcha', everypony began panicking.
You see, Pinkie had many senses like this. A random body part (or parts in the case of the doozy she had been feeling all day,) would do something, and then something would happen, like her Ear flop, Knee Jerk, and Itchy Back would mean a beautiful rainbow as about to appear. The sense that was happening now was her twitchy tail, which meant something was about to fall near them. Twilight had many bad encounters with that one.
This time what fell was unusual, even for a pinkie sense. A bright light shone through the Aurora in the sky before splitting into seven different rainbow colored lights that sped towards them before it disappeared.
Being in a somewhat open clearing, the ponies and baby dragon quickly ducked and covered their heads before the objects impacted just feet away from them.
"Is everypony okay?" Twilight asked as the steam from the impact holes cleared.
"Ahm fine."
"Same here twi..."
"My mane has seen better days, but I'm otherwise ok darling."
"Why does this always happen when I hang out with you guys..."
"Wowzers! That was fun! Let’s do it again!"
"Fluttershy?" Spike asked. "You okay?"
"Y-yes. I’m okay Spike. Just a little shaken up" Fluttershy said as she shakily got to her hooves.
"OK, that had to be the doozy." Twilight said as soon as everypony said they were okay.
"That wasn’t it either Twilight!" Pinkie said as she looked in the surprisingly small holes that the meteors made. Twilight decided to look at the hole near her to see what the meteors could have been, muttering something about murder and pink ponies. Just a few inches away from it, a violet shaft of light came up from the hole.
The other holes also began to make similar lights, although each one had a different color. Applejacks was orange, Rainbow's was blue, Rarity’s was white, Fluttershy's was yellow, Spikes was purple, and Pinkies was...pink. In the light was some kind of object.
"Ooooh, shiny..." Pinkie said as she looked the strange object.
"Wut are these?" Applejack asked.
"It kinda looks like a watch..." Spike said.
"Well, let me check them out with my magic before w-PINKIE NO!"
Twilight tried to stop her, but as Pinkie touched her light with a hoof, it immediately became a pink sphere then flew around her outstretched leg before attaching itself to form a strange device around her foreleg. Now that it wasn’t hidden in the glow, they noticed its design was almost like a slightly larger i-hoof Nano watch, only about 3 and a half inches long from top to bottom, with a light blue color around its screen, with yellow arrow looking designs on either sides.
"Hey guys! It’s not dangerous! Go ahead and grab your...um....thingy!"
Seeing that nothing bad happened yet, they went ahead and reached out to grab the strange device. They soon noticed that each one had a different coloring, and each one had its respective Cutie Mark on it with the arrow design, except for Spikes, which understandably had no Cutie Mark where the others were.
"Eh...could look a little cooler." Rainbow said while looking for a power button.
"I'd say they look expertly designed, they match our color scheme well." Rarity said while admiring said coloring. "It could lose the design surrounding the Cutie Mark, but otherwise, it’s perfect!"
"EEP!"
"Fluttershy, what’s wrong!" Applejack asked the shy Pegasus. She got her answer as her device started to make a beeping sound, catching the normally calm earth pony by surprise. "What in tarnatation is wrong with this thang!" she asked as she picked it back up.
Soon, everyponies was making the same beeping noise, confusing them even more. To make matters worse, it was getting louder with each beep.
"GAH! Twilight, do something to make them stop!" Spike asked the unicorn, covering his ear hole before remembering the device was around his wrist.
"I'm trying, but I can’t concentrate with all that beeping!" She said, her mane starting to show signs of stress. At that point, Pinkie gave a surprised yelp as her body went out of control, before it just stopped.
"Uh Guys....its here."
The beeping suddenly sped up dramatically, almost becoming a single high pitched tone, before the ground split open, and surprised the grounded ponies and baby dragon as they fell down the abyss, screaming in terror (or enjoyment in Pinkies case). Seeing their friends fall, Rainbow and Fluttershy rushed to try and grab them before two things happened.
One, an intense pressure pushed them down quickly before they could register what happened.
And two, as they passed the top of the crevice, the ground closed up, engulfing them in darkness.
“Uhh… how hard did I crash?” a dazed and confused Rainbow Dash said to no one in particular.
“I don’t know, you just came from nowhere and nearly smashed into that tree.”
“Spike, is that you? Tell me….was it awesome?”
“Uhh, no. And my name isn’t…”
“Whatever, OW! Wait, since when were you blue? Oh well, it’s probably the concussion I have talking.”
“Um, miss, you are a miss right?” the blue Spike asked.
“Spike, we’ve known each other a while, and you know I hate being called ‘miss’ anything. It makes me feel old.”
The blue spike had had enough. “MY NAMES NOT SPIKE! IT’S DEMI- VEEMON!”
It was at this point that Rainbow noticed a few things about her surroundings and the person she was talking to. For the most part, Spike had fingers, something he made a point of teasing the ponies of whenever they had to hold something. The little blue thing did not have fingers, more so stubby little hands. It also looked more like a rabbit of some kind than a baby dragon. And then the forest area she was in looked like something out of a Daring-Do Future book.
“WH-What? What is this place? Wait, you said your name is Demi-Veemon right?”
“Yeah! And may I tell you that you are the weirdest Pegasusmon I have ever seen.” It said with a cute smile.
“Pegasus what now?” Rainbow asked. “Well, I am a Pegasus pony, but my name is Rainbow Dash. You might have heard of me! I did the Sonic Rainboom!” She said with a fair amount of confidence.
“Sonic Rainboom? Is that your signature attack? That sounds cool, even if you forgot the mon in your name Rainbow Dashmon.”
“It’s just Rainbow Dash, you don’t add a mon in my name.”
Meanwhile, a certain purple unicorn and a pink earth pony were walking with two passengers on their back.
So let me get this straight, your names are Gummymon and Kokomon?” Twilight asked the light brown puppet thing on her back.
“Yup!” the green puppet creature replied from Pinkies back. “I’m Gummymon, the oldest, and she’s my little sister Kokomon!”
“I-it’s only by a few milliseconds…” Kokomon replied shakily.
“Hahaha! She’s just like Fluttershy!” Pinkie said while hopping up and down. Surprisingly, Gummymon didn’t seem fazed by her hopping, like her pet alligator gummy back home. “Hey Gummy 2, I can call you that right because I have a pet alligator back home named Gummy and saying Gummymon all the time would take a lot of time to type out, why haven’t we seen anything like you two in the Everfree Forest before?” Pinkie asked.
“Everfree Forest?” Kokomon didn’t seem to like the sound of it. “W-w-what’s the Everfree Forest?”
“It’s a Forest that doesn’t work like the rest of Equestria, the weather and animals take care of itself, it’s almost always dark in it, and it has lots of monsters.” Twilight explained, glad that they weren’t in the Everfree.
“Huh…that sounds like the Dark Ocean…except a lot dryer.” Gummymon replied. ‘Well, at least with the almost always dark with tons of monsters part.”
“Y-yeah.” Kokomon said. “Whoever heard of controlling the weather? I haven’t even heard of any Digimon Being able to do that.”
“Digi-what now?”
In another area of the forest, a similar conversation was at the same spot.
“It’s short for ‘Digital Monsters’, you of all people should know that.” A pink blob creature was saying to Spike.
“What are you talking about?” the baby dragon replied to the blob, who’s name was Koromon, “I’ve never seen or heard of a Digimon, and I live in a library with a bookaholic!
“Spike…” Rarity began.
“Hey, she is my sister, kind of…” Spike replied.
“You have a sister? I thought Gummymon and Kokomon were the only digimon to get siblings.” A yellow fox kit said from Rarity’s back.
“Well, I would think she would be more like a mother than a sister since she hatched him,’ Rarity said to the fox kit. “But, Spike says that it was Princess Celestia who raised him and Twilight was like a sister before he moved to Ponyville.
“You know Viximon, Gummymon and Kokomon aren’t the only sibling digimon! Prince Apollomon and Princess Dianamon are siblings." Koromon said to the young fox Digimon
“True, but Gummymon and Kokomon are the only ones we know in pers-.”
At that moment, everything turned way too quiet. Koromon and Viximon suddenly jumped in front of Spike and Rarity in a defensive position.
“V-Viximon? What’s wrong dear?”
As if in answer, an earthshattering roar pierced the air.
“That’s what wrong.”
There were six smells he was unfamiliar with, followed with six more he knew well. It appeared they hadn’t learned their lesson the last time, and this time, they brought friends. He would eat well today, starting with the one who was close to him.
It was time the small children learned not to play in Allomon’s forest.
“W-w-w-w-what was that Tokomon?” Fluttershy said in the tree branch to the small white creature on her back.
“Uh oh, looks like old grumpzilla’s up and about.” Tokomon replied.
“Grumpzilla? Who’s that?” she asked.
Well, let’s just say that we should hurry out of here before-“
The same roar echoed through the forest again, this time, accompanied by two screams of terror.
“Applejack!”
“Wanyamon! C’mon Fluttershy, we gotta go save em!” Tokomon said to the Pegasus.
“Fluttershy stopped shaking and looked towards the location of the scream with a look of confidence on her face. “R-right!”
Meanwhile, Applejack was trying to catch her breath under a small alcove. Next to her, a small blue mix between a cat and a dog was cautiously keeping a lookout.
“Okay Wanyamon, what in tarnation was that?” Applejack whispered loudly.
“That was Allomon. He normally lives a bit further in, but it looks like he took this area for himself recently.” Wanyamon replied.
“Well great, We’re stuck hidin from an overgrown lizard in some forest I don’t even know about, an all mah friends are probably…Oh hayseeds.”
Wanyamon turned around slowly to see what applejack was looking at, just in time to see a large set of teeth move near his position.
“Crap! BUBBLE BLAST!” as he said it, a stream of bubbles came from his mouth towards the approaching rows of dagger like teeth. Applejack was about to ask what shooting bubbles would do when the owner of the teeth let out a pained roar as several bubbles popped inside its mouth. Now that it was distracted, Wanyamon darted from the hiding spot, and Applejack followed, after giving it a swift kick to the knee, though whether or not she actually did damage didn’t matter to her, considering that it was at least twice as tall as Celestia was, and looked like a dragon wearing buffalo attire. If it were any other time, she might have stopped for a moment to laugh at how ridiculous it looked, but she knew better, especially as it turned towards them and gave chase.
“Just what were those bubbles anyway, cuz I think he didn’t like it one bit!” Applejack said as she maneuvered through the trees, slowing down only to pick up Wanyamon.
“They were made of acid. I thought it would at least make him leave us alone for a little while.” As he finished his explanation, Allomon’s head tilted back a bit. “TURN RIGHT! TURN RIGHT!”
AJ had hardly turned before he moved his head forward. “DINO FLAME!” A torrent of flames blazed down the direction Aj had been running only seconds prior. Feeling the heat from the flames, she was glad she moved in time. She then noticed a small shadow above the dinosaur’s head.
“Hey ugly!” a familiar voice called from above the Dino’s head. It had scarcely looked up when a rainbow blur slammed into its face. “Next time you try to barbecue my friends, I’ll hit ya even harder!” Rainbow said as she floated next the orange earth pony.
“Rainbow! Where’d you come from?”
“Sorry to interrupt,” Demi Veemon interrupted, “but we have an angry dino to deal with!”
Allomon had had enough. It was one thing to get hit with the bubbles, but to get hit by a thing that weren’t Digimon to begin with, that was the last straw. “That’s it small fry, you’re all toast!”
“Wait did that thing just-“
“DINO CRUSHER!” As it said that, it leaped into the air towards the group, intent on squishing them like the bugs they were. What it did not expect was a large purple bubble to appear above the Digimon and ponies. It barely had time to blink before it was flung back like a ping pong ball towards the hillside.
“Girls! Run now!”
Wasting no time, the Pegasus, earth pony, and Digimon ran towards Twilight and Pinkie.
“Pinkie, Twi! Good to see ya! Who’s the two digi-watsits on y’all, and Rainbow for that matter?”
“Applejack, I don’t think this is the time for introductions.”
‘Yah, I’ll hold a party later, but we have a grumpy grumperson to worry about right now.”
Allomon rose up and roared in anger. It never had it this bad with the small group of in-training level digimon before. Maybe it was the weird Unimon’s and Pegasusmon’s that were with them, as Unimon’s were Champions and Pegasusmon’s were Armor level like him, but that couldn’t be as none of them had attacked save for the small orange one with the hat.
“DYNAMITE HEAD!”
“Here he comes y’all!”
Allomon ran towards them, picking up speed. He would need to pick them off his feet and head, but at least they would be ready to eat.
“KNOCKOUT STONE!”
A glowing purple rock hit just behind where his ear would be, releasing some kind of spore-like substance. His vision blurred for a moment, but it was enough for him to veer to the right and run into a nearby tree, knocking it down.
“Sorry we’re late, but as my new Unimon-“
“Rarity.”
“Rarity says 'a woman is always fashionably late.'” Viximon said to her friends. Next to her were Rarity, Spike, and Koromon. Along the way, they had met Fluttershy and Tokomon (And had to carry Fluttershy a little ways due to surprising her as they rounded a corner.)
“Well, being fashionably late almost got us killed, but good to see you anyway.” Demi Veemon said. It then looked at Koromon and Spike. “Hey! You met an Agumon! I bet he can help us beat-“
“IM NOT A DIGIMON!”
“Ha ha ha, too bad for you pipsqueaks… you might have lived just a bit longer.”
“Um, did the big scary dinosaur just talk…?” Pinkie asked.
“Let me answer that…DINO FLAME!”
Twilight quickly jumped in front of the others (much to Kokomon’s distress) and made a shield. Unfortunately, her magic still seemed to be acting up, as she could still feel the intense heat, as well as smell something burning.
“Guys! We gotta help her!” Demi Veemon called out. All seven of the baby digimon ran around the barrier that Twilight had made, which looked paler than before, a few cracks starting to appear in it.
“All together now!”
“BUBBLE BLAST!” Seven sets of bubbles came at the blue dinosaur, surprising it enough to cut off its gout of flame. “He’s distracted! Let’s get him guys!” Before they could go off to attack Allomon, a purple aura appeared around them and moved them back to the ponies’ side.
“A-Are you crazy! You’ll all be smashed flat by that oversized lizard.”
“Viximon, while I appreciate you distracting that big brute for us, you don’t need to go toe to toe!”
“Trust me on this Koromon, its not a good idea to attack a fire breathing lizard head on.”
“Same here Demi Veemon. I do have to admit, that was pretty cool, but it would be a lot cooler to live!”
“Tokomon, that was very brave, but its like everypony else says, we cant beat him.”
“Now Wanyamon, and all you other Digimon, we’ve just met, but we like yall, and don’t want ya to become little piles of ash just fer us.”
“Girls wait!” Pinkie gave a serious look at Gummymon. “Do you think you can beat it?”
“Do I think we can-I know we can! C’mon Pinkie, just give us the chance to do it!”
“Do you Pinkie promise?”
“we don’t have fingers…”
“No! It’s a special promise that cant be broken. EVER. Do you promise?
“yeah! No doubt!”
“Cross your heart and hope to fly, stick a cupcake in your eye?” she asked, doing all the motions.
“Cross my heart and hope to fly, stick digi-noir in my eye!” the Digimon said.
“Whats Digi-noir?”
“I'll give ya some when we survive!” Gummymon said, floating towards Allomon. The other Digimon followed suit, preparing to give it the fight of their lives.
A sudden flash of life from the devices on the ponies wrist caught Twilights attention.
“Huh? Hey the devices are…” she then felt something. It was similar to the spark of friendship, but different. Then she noticed, the Digimon began changing shape, going from simplistic to something more.
“Kokomon Digivolve to…Lopmon!”
“Gummymon Digivolve to…Terriermon!”
“Demi Veemon Digivolve to…Veemon!”
“Wanyamon Digivolve to…Gaomon!”
“Tokomon Digivolve to…Patamon!”
“Koromon Digivolve to…Agumon!”
“Viximon Digivolve to…Renamon!”
The seven Digimon now had vastly different looks.
Kokomon had changed to a brown rabbit with pink stripes. Gummymon had gone throught a similar change, but was white with green stripes.
Demi Veemon was bigger, and had more developed limbs, as well as a yellow V on his forehead.
Wanyamon was vastly different now, and looked like a blue dog with red boxing gloves and a red headband.
Tokomon had become orange on his top half, and his eyes had become more expressive, as well as getting a pair of batwings where his ears were.
Like Wanyamon, Koromon had become vastly different from what he was, and now looked almost like Allomon, but was about Spikes size with red bands on his claws.
Viximon had also changed, becoming taller than the other digimon, almost as tall as Princess Luna, and had purple sleeves on her hands with a yin yang mark on them.
“Let us handle it!” Gaomon said while pounding her gloves together.
“I take it you guys don’t spit out acid bubble no more?” Aj asked.
“Does this look like a bubble to you? PEPPER BREATH!”
A small ball of flames shot out of Agumon’s mouth and hit Allomon on his underside, making it give out a grunt of pain.
“I can still shoot bubbles…kind of. AIR SHOT!” Patamon inhaled, and then let out a dome of air at the scorch mark Agumon had made, causing Allomon to back up.
“Let’s do it Lopmon!” Terriermon called to his twin.
“Ok!”
“DOUBLE TYPHOON!” The twin digimon grabbed each other’s ears and then spun around, whipping up a small tornado and then slammed into the blue dinosaur.
“So we’re going physical? V-HEADBUTT!” Taking advantage of Allomon’s position, Veemon head butted him pushing him back a little bit more; however, Allomon grabbed him before he could hop back out of range. ”Uh...little help guys?”
“Sure thang, ROLLING UPPER!” Gaomon used Veemon’s body as a stepping stone to give a fierce uppercut to the underside of Allomon’s head, causing it to lift a little in the air.
“My turn. DIAMOND STORM!” An indeterminable amount of ice shards formed in front of Renamon’s body, then began rushing at Allomon, raising him up a bit more.
The Allomon was spent, as the Ice shards stopped, his unconscious body crashed onto the forest floor with a thunderous thud.
“That was Awesome you guys!” Rainbow called out to the Digimon.
“What happened though? First you guys were all small and cute, now you’re all bigger and cooler looking. Except Patamon, he still looks kinda cute.” Spike asked.
“We Digivolved.” Agumon said.
“Yeah, we went from Baby to Child level.” Lopmaon said, floating over to Twilight’s back using her ears.
“Fascinating! Spike, please tell me you packed my quills and parchment!”
“Twilight, Celestia got you a laptop for your birthday…”
“Oh, right.” Twilight said sheepishly as she pulled it out.
As she began typing, Allomon opened one eye. “grrr… I AM NOT DONE YET!” suddenly, Allomon rose up, prepared to finish off the ponies and Digimon.
"FLAME FIST!" A large gout of flames hit Allomon in the chest, knocking what was left of his energy out.
"Twiley!"
Twilight looked back to see a large blue dionsaur like man with red flame inspired armor standing next to-"Shining Armor? what are you doing here!"
Shining walked towards the group and nuzzled his little sister. "I was about to ask you the same thing. but seeing those Digivices on your legs, I can guess why."
"Digivices?"
Hello Everypony! my name is Twilight Sparkle, and Since we seem to be stuck in a strange world with new creatures, i feel i should record those i find intersting. and why not do the one we met first, Allomon, as well as a few of ours.
Allomon-Armor type Digimon. Evolved from Hawkmon using Digimental of Courage.REALLY fast, because like an allosaur, its incredibly fast.

“Shining Armor! What are you doing here!?” Twilight asked the white Unicorn stallion.
“Are we there yet?” Spike asked Agumon.
Meanwhile in the clearing, Allomon finally came to. “Urrg, what happened…? I remember that those brats from Folder Primary Village were trespassing with some strange creatures…!”

“I’m very sorry miss. I didn’t mean to surprise you.” The strange Digimon, now sporting a large read lump on his head, said while bowing towards the group.
“So Mr. Jijimon, do you have a way to get us back to Equestria?” Twilight asked the elderly Digimon.
“Well you guys, if you’re gonna be here, you might as well get to us a lot better.” Terry told the ponies.

As the ponies and baby dragon got to know their Digimon better, Allomon and Tyrannomon were getting close to Primary Valley.
“So, Which ones will you get?” Tyrannomon asked his brother.
“I figure I’ll kill the Gaomon since he had the gall to hit me as an In-Training level, and then I’ll take out the orange pony that was with him.”
“Then I get the rest?”
“Nah, we’ll find a way to split them evenly. If we have to, we can just cut a pony down the middle.” Allomon said, chuckling at his joke.
Tyrannomon joined in the small laughter, smashing a marker showing the way to the village down with his tail as he passed it. Just behind it, a Motimon was cowering behind a small bush.
‘I have to warn Jijimon and the others.’ He thought frantically. Luckily, they were taking a longer route to Primary, which would give him time to get there before them.
“What I wouldn’t give to have evolved by now…”
“Are you absolutely sure!?” Jijimon asked the young Motimon after he had made it back to the village.
“I’m absolutely positive! You don’t see two big Digimon like that and imagine it.”
“Wait, so that dino we beat earlier is coming with his brother! I should throw a party!” Pinkie said excitedly.
“Uh Pinkie, last time we saw Allomon, we were beating it pretty badly.” Terry told his partner.
“And if he’s anything like Shining Armor, this Tyrannomon won’t be too happy with us.” Twilight told the pink pony.
“So what do we do?” Rainbow asked the party.
“We should get everyone to the Hiding Cliff.” Jijimon told them.
“Alright, let’s get a move on before they get here.”
Despite a quick bout of panic from the low level Digimon, the escape plan was moving smoothly, mostly thanks to Applejack’s herding and Twilights organization skills.
“C’mon y’all, keep it steady now!”
“You’re pretty good at this Aj. Where’d ya learn all this from?” Gaomon asked as she helped a Botamon.
“Ah live on a farm back in Equestria. We do a lot of things, and one of ‘em is herding.” Aj beamed.
“She saved Ponyville from a stampede one day!” Rainbow said while flying overhead.
“Really… that’s pretty cool.” Gaomon said incredibly impressed.
“One question though, what’s a stampede?”
Several minutes later, a scream was heard from the back of the village.
“Looks like big uglies are here, let’s go Veemon!” Rainbow said taking off towards the screams original location.
“Right!”
“Y’all heard the mare!” with a Yeehaw, Aj took off after Rainbow and Veemon, followed by Rarity, Spike, and Fluttershy. By the time they caught up with her, Dash and Veemon were already facing Allomon and Tyrannomon.
“So, you ready for round two big guys?” Veemon taunted the two dinosaurs.
“If you thought you beat me last time, you must have forgotten about the help you had from Flamedramon.” Allomon growled.
“Besides, Allomon’s an Armor Level, and I’m a Champion level, what can a group of Rookies and Ponies do to us?” Tyrannomon taunted.
“This! V-Headbutt!” Just before connecting with the red monster, Tyrannomon simply sidestepped
“Pitiful…WILD BUSTER!” using his claw, he smashed the blue dragon to the ground.
“Veemon!”
“Don’t worry none Rainbow, he’ll be just fine. But it’s my turn now you big bully!” Gaomon declared.
“Well c’mon then puppy!”
“Grr….WILD HOWLING!” Gaomon let loose a powerful bark, hoping to catch Tyrannomon off guard. Unfortunately, she forgot about Allomon.
“DINO CRUSHER!”
Stopping, Gaomon barely dodged the sudden attack from Allomon.
“Forget about me already? I’m honestly hurt.”
“Whoa nelly…We’re gonna need backup…” Gaomon said, getting up to go help Veemon against the red dinosaur again.
“I think you’re right Gaomon…” Renamon agreed. “Fluttershy, Patamon, you two should go get the others.”
“Yeah right let me at em!” Patamon began. “I’ll-hgufrblm!” Unfortunately, what he was going to say was cut off by Fluttershy grabbing him in a hug.
“Um, ok. I mean, it’s not like we could do anything to them” Fluttershy admitted, glad to be able to get away from the fight. “Let’s go Patamon.”
“Grr...Fine…but when we get back, I’m gonna turn the tide, just you guys watch!”
As they flew off, Allomon attempted to intercept them, But Renamon and Agumon jumped in front of him.
“Oh no you don’t! SPITFIRE BLAST!”
“DIAMOND STORM!”
With both of their attacks moving at him, Allomon had no choice to jump away from his prey and turn to face the two rookies facing him.
“Yeah! You show em Agumon!” Spike cheered.
“Don’t cheer yet Spikey Wikey, Allomon’s not down yet.”
As Agumon and Renamon took on the blue dinosaur, Gaomon and Veemon weren’t faring well against Tyrannomon, mostly due to the fact that they really didn’t have any ranged attacks, while Tyrannomon had his fire breath.
“Darn! If only they could hit from a good distance, they could probably knock him out in no time!” Rainbow complained.
“No use bellyachin, we should try to help them.” Aj said as she tipped her hat up.
“Alright! I’ll distract him, you, Gaomon and Veemon should gang up on him once I have his attention.”
As they made the plan, Veemon slid right in front of them after receiving another punch from Tyrannomon.
“Please tell me you guys have something in mind?” he asked.
“Yeah! Just do as AJ says!” with a battle cry, Rainbow took off towards Tyrannomon.
Seeing the blue pony headed his way, he shot a gout of flames at the Pegasus. Seeing that he was doing exactly what she wanted, she went vertical so he wouldn’t see her friends mustering for his back.
Meanwhile, Renamon and Agumon were barely holding their own against Allomon. While they did have ranged and close attacks to take him on, he was a lot faster than they were, and most of their attacks were missing.
“Will you hold still!?” Agumon cried out in frustration as another attack missed.
“Will you? DINO CRUSHER!”
Just before he hit Agumon, a blue aura surrounded Allomon, holding him in the air.
“W-What is this!”
“Magic darling,” Rarity replied “and I suggest that you and Renamon take your shot now that I have him, because I can’t hold him for long.”
“Alright! Ready Renamon?”
“Let’s do this! DIAMOND STORM!”
“SPITFIRE BLAST!”
“And…hang on a moment… “
“SPIKE JUST BLAST HIM!”
Hearing his crush shout at him, Spike immediately shot out a small burst of dragon fire. As Rarity let Allomon go from her magic, he met all three attacks at once in the chest. Meanwhile, Tyrannomon was watching what was going on as he tried to blast the blue Pegasus out of the sky. He knew what she was planning, but he wanted her three friends to get close to him. As he saw his brother get sent flying a few feet away from him, he decided he was done playing with the small fry. Turning around, the would be ambushers and decoy saw that the plan didn’t work and that they were about to get fried. Or so they thought. In an instant they saw a brief lavender flash, and then saw a confused Tyrannomon turn around to their new position.
“Whew, nice timin Twi…”Applejack thanked her unicorn friend.
“Huff, don’t thank me yet…that took a lot out of me…” Twilight panted.
‘Great…more small fry.’ Tyrannomon thought to himself. “Allomon get up! We’re gonna take them out in one fell swoop!”
Rising to his feet, Allomon shakily looked at his brother, knowing what he wanted to do. “Fine…but don’t blame me if there’s nothing left of them after this.”
“Are they doing what I think they might me doing?” Terry asked Lopmon. “’Because if they are, I’m suing!”
“DINO FLAME HURRICANE!” the two dinosaur’s grabbed each other’s tails and began spinning, and soon a flaming cyclone had formed where they stood.
“Hang on guys!” Rainbow called out, grabbing Veemon before he could go into the vortex. Applejack quickly made a lasso and threw it at a nearby tree, with Gaomon holding her tail for dear life. Everyone else tried various ways to keep from going into the spinning wall of fiery death.
“Let me try something!” grabbing Twilights back, she turned around to face the wall of flames. “BUNNY BLIZZARD!” as the ice shard made its way to the tornado, it melted, and then evaporated before it even made a difference.
“Shoot!”
“Lopmon, let’s use the bunny typhoon!” Terry suggested.
“That’s perfect!” Rainbow called from above them, flapping furiously as she tried to fly away from the attack. “I can’t get close enough to counter their rotation, but you guys might be able to!”
“Hang on! It might not work! If anything, we could be drawn closer to the – Yikes!” dropping low to the ground, she narrowly dodged a signpost that had come up from the ground. “To the flames, and you saw what happen to her first attack! If super cooled ice won’t work, then what do you think will happen to anything else that gets close!”
“In case ya haven’t notices, we’re losin’ ground here!” “AJ yelled.
“We’ll be barbecued ‘fore we even think of anything!” Gaomon noted.
Seeing he friends argue, Pinkie rushed to them and raised her hooves up. “We won’t solve anything like that! We’ve got to- uh oh I forgot physics hate me…AHHH!” she didn’t finish as physics took hold of her and she began flying towards the tornado. Twilight and Rainbow Dash tried grabbing her, but they wasn’t prepared for how fast she was moving and were also grabbed by fates cruel winds. One by one, the ponies and their digimon partners were dragged closer to the tornado of flames.
“Twilight don’t let go!”
“I won’t Pinkie! Just…hold…onnngh….” Twilight’s magical exhaustion finally caught hold of her and she passed out, losing her grip on Pinkie and Dash.
As the two ponies flew towards their doom, their partners looked at each other.
“What now Terry!? “
“We gotta Digivolve! It’s the only way!”
“You’re right! We can’t let our partners die like this!” Lopmon agreed as both her brother and herself began glowing.
As the two digimon began glowing, the devices on Pinkie and Twilights arms screen began to flash the words 'Evolution'.
“TERRIERMON DIGIVOLVE TO!”
“LOPMON DIGIVOLVE TO!”
The light around them intensified to a blinding level for a brief moment before fading to reveal two new forms, one looked like a larger Terriermon wearing heavy denim jeans, a bullet strap, and what could only be described as guns where his hands were, holding both Twilight and Pinkie Pie under his arms.
“T-Terry, is that you? Omigosh, you evolved again!” Pinkie exclaimed. “But…what are you now?”
“I’m Gargomon now.”
“Terry…you evolved?” Twilight, her body deciding that now was a good time to come to, asked. Then suddenly becoming alert, she noticed that her partner wasn’t on her back. “Wait where’s Lopmon!”
“Right here twilight, and I’m not Lopmon anymore…” another Digimon said a few feet away. “DROWNING AQUARIUS!” as the former Lopmon said this, a torrent of water came from a small staff that had a snowflake protrusion on the top of it, smashing into the fiery vortex and throwing Allomon off balance, stopping it. “I am Sorcermon.”
Taking a look at her partner, she saw that unlike Terry, who had changed relatively little, she had gone through a more substantial change. She was now vaguely human shaped, wearing a white suit with a white cape that covered most of her face. A white hat that reminded her of Trixie somewhat was on its head, and it had bright yellow hair.
“That’s impossible…” Allomon said. “You only just became Rookies! How can you guys be Champion level already?”
“We got power from our Partners.” Gargomon said simply. "And when you guys threatened them, we could feel that we could evolve.”
“But we are Digimon! The Supreme Fighting Beings! What you said goes against everything Lord-“as Tyrannomon protested, Gargomon leaped from his position just under the red dinosaur monster’s girth.
“You talk too much, ya know that? DUMDUM UPPER!” pointing its right arm up he began firing bullets at Tyrannomon’s lower jaw, knocking the Digimon onto its back.
“Grr...You little punks! It doesn’t matter how many times you evolve, we’ll still destroy you! DINO BLAZER!” blasting his flame at Gargomon, he failed to notice Sorcermon leap up until she was behind him.
“Too slow, CRYSTAL BARRAGE!” gathering ice energy in her staff, Sorcermon pointed it at Allomon, blasting him towards his brother. Seeing the blue armor digimon coming his way, Gargomon leaped out of the way to his sister’s side as Allomon crashed into Tyrannomon.
“Ready to give up? Don’t answer that, you are but you don’t know that.”
“Now to send you guys away from Primary Valley…” grabbing her staff with both hands, it began glowing brightly. “BLIZZARD ILLUSION!” From its tip, a mighty blizzard began to blow. Focusing her attention towards the two dino’s, she directed it to blow them towards the horizon.
"Yeah! And don't come back!" Veemon shouted at the two skyborne Digimon.
With the two evil digimon gone, Sorcermon and Gargomon began to glow again, shrinking back into their Rookie forms.
“Aww, I thought I got to keep being a Champion.” Terry whined, only to receive a surprise hug from Pinkie.
“Silly Terry, you’re still my Champion! When we get back to the Village, I’m gonna throw you and Dawn a ‘We Digivolved and kicked Dino butt’ party!
“Dawn?” Lopmon asked. “Are you talking about me?”
Walking up to her partner, Twilight picked her up and put her on her back. “I don’t know… do you like it? I was thinking if calling you Velvet.” she admitted.
“What about Velvet Dawn, darling?” Rarity asked, trotting up with the rest of the group.
“Nah, you need something 20% cooler than that, because as Sorcermon, you were awesome!”
“No, I like that name.” Velvet Dawn said, smiling at how natural it seemed to have a name other than her species name.
“That’s great! But now I need a name for Agumon. Hmm let’s see, I can’t call you Spike because that’s my name…” As Spike pondered a name for his partner, everypony else began thinking of names as well.
Just above them, out of their line of sight, a figure had been watching the fight below, taking note of what was going on.
“So these are the new Digi-Destined… don’t look like much, I could take em apart in moments…if they weren’t Celestia’s attack ponies.” The figure said to itself. “No matter. They won’t be a threat to me in the long run. They will all meet their end.” With a flourish, the figure turned away, revealing a light blue back hoof.

Error Evolution? Whats that? Oh well, she looks so cool like this! She's a master of ice magic and can heal too! I sure wish a Sorcermon would help us with Winter Wrap Up. Cleaning up the snow would take no time!

"So...why are we doing this instead of staying at primary village again?" Terry asked Twilight.
"Well, Jijimon told us to look for Babamon Becasue she has'nt contacted him in a while." Twilight replied.
"Not only that, but our partners are also the Digidestined. If they were to stay at the village until the Legendary 4 could help, they wouldn’t be doing their duty to the Digital World" Velvet added.
"Yeah...I’m still tryin to come to grips with it." Spike said.
"Well, we'll be with you guys the entire way, so you don’t have much to worry about."Agumon told the baby dragon.
"Well, almost nothing." Fluttershy whispered. "What if we run into Allomon and Tyrannomon again?” she asked.
"Yeah, and?!" Rainbow said from a cloud she was riding with Veemon. "If those two come back we can just have Terry and Velvet Digivolve again, at least until Veemon here evolves."
"I bet I’ll be the coolest one out of us all! Maybe I’ll even skip a few levels and just go to Ultimate!" Veemon exclaimed, before almost falling from the cloud.
"Well I don’t know about you all, but I just hope that the Garuru village has a bath. I can feel the dirt trying to get stuck in my fur."
"I really don’t see how, considering that I’ve been carrying you since we left the primary village..." Renamon told her partner.
"And you should be proud, especially since you're only a Child." Rarity complemented.
Sighing, Renamon thought back to what Jijimon had told them after Terry and Velvet had devolved back to normal.
"Well well, it seems that you are a very special group of young mares." Jijimon had said.
"Yeah well, you know..." Rainbow grinned. "This is nothing compared to what we do back in Equestria...it’s still pretty cool though!"
"Ya know Rainbow, a little humility doesn’t hurt once in a while." Applejack told the pegasus.
"Jijimon, what did you mean, special group?" Renamon asked. "I mean, they did tell us that they were the Elements of Harmony in their world, but..."
"Elements of Harmony? These six?" Jijimon asked.
"And I'm Twilights number one assistant." Spike added.
"Well that just confirms it. Lopmon..."
"Velvet Dawn now sir." Velvet corrected the old Digimon.
"Ah, a name! Very nice, but anyway Velvet, do you remember the tale that has been passed down for years?"
"Yes sir! It was from long before the Legendary Four came to the Digital World. It said that in a time where Darkness threatens two worlds, and if it wasn’t stopped, both would face eternal darkness."
"That sounds similar to the tale of Nightmare Moon..." Twilight said.
"Ok. So anyway, both would suffer many catastrophes before ten lights known as the Digidestined would come to bring Harmony back to both."
"So in other words," Gaomon said, "You six and the Legendary Four are meant to save the world!"
"Not quite Gaomon." Jijimon told the blue dog. "The Legendary four are excellent ponies, But none of them is one of the lights told of in the story."
"So we have to find at least three other ponies to help." Applejack reasoned. "But seein' how we're all here in this world, Ah don’t see how we can do it."
"Maybe not, but I believe my wife could help you all with that."
"Wait what!" Spike exclaimed. "You mean all this time, we could have been asking her for help!?"
"Sorry, but you did say that Shining Armor wanted you guys to stay here..."
"That doesn’t matter now." Twilight said, stepping forward. "We have a duty to Equestria as the Elements to keep it safe."
"Yay! Looks like it’s time for a super big adventure!" Pinkie was beginning to bounce from the excitement.
"Well...um...I guess since the worlds are depending on us. And there must be so many cute Digimon we could meet too..."
"That’s the spirit Fluttershy!" Patamon said.
"Well, I’m with Pinkie here!" Rainbow said with a flick of her mane. "Besides, if Spitfire sees that I saved this world too, I would definitely be in the Wonderbolts."
"Your world is a nice change of pace from the farm. Ah guess Sweet Apple Acres will be fine without me for a bit."
"Well...so long as I don’t get dirty too often, I suppose this is in my best interest." Rarity agreed. "Not to mention I may get a few more ideas for dress designs."
"Wonderful. Now I have a favor to ask. My wife Babamon went to the Garuru Village a few days ago, but I haven’t heard from her."
"So ya want us to go check on her, right?" Gaomon asked.
"Yes, in a sense. But if something is amiss, you can take care of it. One last thing, Velvet?"
"Yes Jijimon?"
"You said that you evolved to Sorcermon, am I correct?"
"Um...yes...what wrong."
"Many things actually. For one, your species normally don’t evolve to Sorcermon, so you may have Error Evolved."
"E-Error Evolved?" Fluttershy stammered.
"It may be nothing, but please, keep an eye on her Miss Sparkle. I wish you all good luck on your journey."
Renamon's gaze had drifted to the brown rabbit now. 'I hope it is nothing like Jijimon said.' Renamon thought.
"So if you don’t mind me asking, could you tell us what's the deal with Error Evolving?" Rainbow asked her partner. "It doesn’t sound too bad."
"Well, Error Evolving is a pretty recent event, but it rarely ever happens. Sometimes, Digimon evolve to the wrong thing, and at first it was just a minor problem." He began
"But then, a few months afterward, one Error Evolved Digimon went berserk, and it took a lot of Digimon just to stop it." Agumon continued. "So now we have to be careful if a Digimon does Error Evolve."
"Well, lucky for us I didn’t feel like I was about to lose control." Velvet said, thinking about what would have happened if she did go wild while they were fighting Tyrannomon and Allomon. "But maybe it’s different for us since we evolved to protect our partners."
"Now that you mention it...I did feel a weensy minsy teensy weensy bit of a tug when Terry evolved to Gargomon." Pinkie said.
"Well, if it helps keep us safe...I don’t mind sharing some of my energy...as long as you don’t become really scary Patamon." Fluttershy squeaked out.
"But Fluttershy look at him!" Pinkie said, popping up next to the flying mammal Digimon and holding him to the pegasus' face. "How can something so cute become super duper terrifying?"
"Well I guess not Patamon."
"Please put me down."
As the group laughed at the pink mare's antics, a pair of yellow eyes began to eye them from a bush. The creature they belonged to flashed a toothy grin. It had just found its way into its boss’s good graces.
As the group walked along the trail, Renamon sensed a presence.
"Hold up. Something’s following us."
The Ponies and Digimon immediately went on guard, scanning the area for trouble.
"Um...does anypony feel like there's more than one something...?” Fluttershy asked.
"Maybe because it is. “A voice said from a bush close to her.
"Oh thank....EAAH!" Stepping out from the foliage were three fiery looking cats, each one with murder in their eyes.
"Well well, looks like we got some lost little ponies..." one with a scar across one of his eyes snickered.
"Mmm, let me get the little lizard. I bet he's nice and juicy."
"Hey! You want them, you gotta get through us first!" Veemon said, pounding his fist together.
"Oh my! A little Child level Digimon wants to fight! What ever shall we do?" one pantomimed with a damsel of distress voice. "Ha! Like you'd be a challenge runt! You’d barely do for a toothpick"
"Ok that does it! No one gets away with cha...no um...well, no one gets away with making fun of me! V HEADBUTT!"
The three Digimon jumped away from Veemon's attack, causing him to strike a tree instead.
"You got guts kid, let’s see what they look like! WILD NAIL!" the first one's claw was engulfed in flames as it slashed at Veemon.
Before the attack could connect, Veemon was pulled away in a magenta aura. "What were you thinking!? You can’t win three on one, you'll have to strategize." Twilight reprimanded.
"Ok, how about this, Digimon attack!" Veemon cried.
"I; have to let you down Rarity, you’ll only slow me down." Before she could protest, Renamon dropped Rarity, and then jumped in the air. "Dodge this! DIAMOND STORM!"
Sending the attack flying at her opponents, they barely registered a blue blur coming at them as they dodged.
"GAO RUSH!" the barrage of punches connected, sending one flying into another.
"Augh! Get off me weakling!" the Digimon told its companion.
"BUNNY BLAST!"
"BUNNY BLIZZARD!"
"PEPPER BREATH!"
"BOOM BUBBLE"
The next barrage of attacks came from Terry, Velvet, Agumon and Patamon, each one teamed up with another Digimon to take down the other two cat like Digimon.
"So, ya wanna give now, or continue getting your butts kicked?" Spike asked.
The three Digimon growled angrily, but then began to grin. "How about the part where the pack tears you all apart?"
"What pack?" Rainbow asked. As if in answer, four more of the Digimon jumped out from the bushes, leaping to their companions.
"I think it’s that one Rainbow." Pinkie said. "Um Terry, now would be a good time to evolve."
"Yea, it’s Gargomon time! TERRIERMON EVOLVE...."
Nothing happened. "Eheh... let’s try again! TERRIERMON EVOLVE...uh oh."
"Let me try! Lopmon Evolve ...uh guys, we can’t evolve."
"Pfft ha ha ha ha! Get a load of this! The widdle wabbits thought they could evolve on command. What a riot!" one of the new Digimon snickered.
"What’s next? Gonna try and get big. Go ahead, it means more for u-"
"HOWLING BUSTER!" A ball of blue flames suddenly engulfed the Digimon that was talking, leaving only its egg.
More soon followed, causing the small pack to turn tail and run.
"Yeah you better run!" Rainbow called after the fleeing Digimon.
"A loud mouth shouldn’t suit you here, pony." a voice said from behind them. Turning around, the group saw their saviors, a group of three wolf like Digimon covered in light gray-blue stripes.
"Hey, those are Garurumon!" Gaomon told the ponies. "Man it’s good to see-"
"RENAMON HOW COULD YOU!' an ear piercing shriek rang through the air.
"I told you I’d have to drop you, so it’s not my fault you fell in the mud." Renamon shot at her partner.
"When you tell a lady you're about to put them down, you put them down, not DROP THEM IN THE DIRT LIKE AN OLD BAG OF APPLES!! No offense Applejack." Rarity, her back and mane now covered in mud, yelled at the yellow fox.
"Ahem. You should worry about your coat later pony, those Lynxmon will be back soon with more from their pack." The bigger Garurumon of the group told them.
"Wait, there's more!?" Spike cried.
"Yes. A lot more. You should be glad that it was just a scouting party and not a hunting one."
"Great, now we have a pack of overgrown flaming cats to worry about! I can barely handle one that not on fire and a lot smaller!"Rainbow yelled.
"In any case, why are you all here? I take it from the Devices on your legs that you are the Chosen Ones?" A female sounding one asked.
"Yes. I'm Twilight Sparkle, my friends and I were sent here from-"
"Yeah yeah, we didn’t ask for introductions, we asked why you were here. The Garuru Village doesn’t need any help."
"We weren’t coming to help you!" Rainbow interjected, before being pulled back by Applejack.
"Whoa there partner, why don’t you let the big folk talk things over." Aj told the blue Pegasus. "We don’t mean no disrespect, but we just comin to see if y'all seen Babamon around."
"Sorry, we haven’t seen her."
The group all sighed. It seemed this mission wouldn’t be as easy as they thought.
Why don’t you all come with us?" a Garurumon asked them. "It’s getting late, and it wouldn’t be a good idea for you all to be travelling back to Primary Village in the dark."
"Thank you. We can figure out what to do in the morning." Twilight said.
As they followed the Garurumon, Rarity and Renamon continued their 'discussion'.
"You should be more careful! What if they don’t have a bath!? I might be covered in this muck until we get back home to Equestria!"
"I don’t see the big problem. Its only dirt, it won’t kill you, unlike most of the things here."
"That the thing. What if this dirt won’t wash off! I’ll be spotted for the rest of my life! Do you know how hard it is to work with brown spots with my hair color!? It’s nearly impossible, and it wouldn’t work for me!"
"Ugh, you’re so....ARGH!" with a growl, Renamon leaped up to the tree tops, following the group from there.
"Humph. The nerve of her. And I had just thought of a name for her before she dropped me." Rarity fumed.
"Rarity, y'all shouldn’t be like that. Ah mean, she did help keep us from becoming someponies lunch." Applejack told the white mare.
"I know, but still, she could be just a bit more sympathetic. It’s not easy having my color scheme."
"Ya don’t say..." Aj deadpanned.
As Renamon reached the front of the group, Rainbow decided to ask her something. "So what’s up with the marks on your gloves?"
"..."
"Are they supposed to be some kind of super here symbol or something?"
"...it’s Yin and Yang."
"Yin and Yang?"
"It's a symbol of spiritual balance, of har-"
"Boring, going to talk to the Garurumon now." with that, Rainbow flew up to the wolf Digimon, leaving a slightly ticked Renamon to fume at the nerve of some ponies.
As they arrived, a group of Garurumon met them at the village gates.
"So this is the village?" Rarity asked, looking around at the buildings. "It could use some work."
"Rarity... you shouldn’t do anything to antagonize our hosts." Renamon warned.
"I wasn’t antagonizing, I was making constructive criticism."
"Whatever. Just try to keep that big mouth of yours shut."
Biting back some choice words, Rarity trotted past the fox with her nose in the air.
Moments later, they had made it to a slightly more decorated hut.
"I'm sorry, but Babamon has not been to this village." a scarred Garurumon with slightly darker stripes said sadly."We knew she was coming, but we've had no word of her since we sent for her.
"Oh, I see. Do you have any idea what may have happened to her?" Twilight asked
"We have no idea. Unfortunately, we've been too busy trying to keep the Lynxmon away from our village to fully investigate." he said.
"That’s another thing. Lynxmon don’t normally make large packs, but from what your scout party said, they have a large pack somewhere close by." Gaomon noted.
"That is true. It may have something to do with the Armor Empire."
"Armor Empire?" Twilight was confused. "My brother has an empire here?"
The Garurumon Elder gave a slightly puzzled look; Velvet quickly explained that Shining Armor was Twilights brother. "Oh no, this has nothing to do with your brother or his Digimon partner."
"The Armor Empire is led by an unknown Armor Digimon, and it seeks to have Armor Digimon as the rulers of the Digital World."
"This is all that we know, in any case, you are welcome to stay here, just as the Gabumon for whatever you need."
"Thank goodness, now I can get this muck off of me!"
Renamon gave a small snort of disapproval.
"Is there something you want to say, Renamon?" Rarity glared.
"Yes...elder Garurumon, is it possible to change your partner?"
"Hmm...No, I have never heard of such a thing. Usually, Partners complement each other." he sighed.
"What? You mean to tell me this little stuck up horse complements me!?
"Well, at least I’m not some..."
"She couldn’t get her hooves dirty if her life depended on it."
"Renamon..."Rarity warned.
"To be frank, this girl does not deserve to be-"
"Renamon, anata gōman jāku o damare!" Rarity yelled.
The room fell silent after that, before Rarity began to speak again. "Don’t think you can just insult me however you please. A lady doesn’t argue, but don’t make me start with you fox...ketsubetsu." and with that, Rarity trotted away to take a bath.
