It was just another day at magnum creek the Yukon. The gold mining season for the magnum crew had ended early and all had left but one. Darek smith owned magnum creek and the mine and had come off his best season ever with almost 10,000 ounces recovered with his small crew of nine. Darek who was 23 years old was in his third season.
Darek made his way to his large two story log house. Built in the 1950's by his grandfather it was a nice looking structure. Darek made his way in and turned on the tv as he made dinner. The tv said a huge snow storm was on its way. Darek who had winterized his equipment was in no way worried. Darek had his dinner turned off the tv and went to sleep. That night the winter storm blow with the fury of a cat 4 hurricane.
Darek woke up only to find almost 4 feet of snow on the ground. Darek looked and saw that the temp was only 36 degrees. Thinking quickly Darek went over to his Komatsu d455 superdozer to clear the yard and the road to the highway. Darek got in his bulldozer and started her up. the 670 horsepower engine purred as Darek made his way trough the yard plowing the snow. Darek soon finished and plowed the road. upon finishing he drove back to his equipment yard. Darek got out of his dozer and walked to his house only to see the front door open. Darek pulled out his 357 magnum revolver to see who or what was inside. As Darek made his way into the kitchen something hit him in the head knocking him out.
Darek woke up only to see a white roof. Darek shot up in an instant to see that he was in a hospital room.
'What the hell" Darek said.
Just then the door to his room opened and a anthro pony walked in. Darek who was a little bit of a brony managed to calm himself down so he could figure out what was going on.
"How are you feeling mr" the pony began.
"Smith" Darek said "Darek smith".
"Ok mr smith well you are well enough that we can sent you home" the pony said.
"Great I can't wait to get home" Darek said.
Suddenly the door opened and two ponys wearing gold came in.
"excuse me ms redheart but we need to talk to this human" the pony said almost venously.
"Ok I'll be right outside" the pony named redheart said as she left the room.
"Ok human why where you in that house" one of the pony's asked.
"Because i own that house" Darek replied.
"No you don't" replied the pony "a human like you can never own such a house".
Now Darek was angry first they accuse him which he was not happy about but then they insult him ok still not bad but to insult the house his grandfather built that was to far.
"Yes I do own that house and that property it has been in my family for 150 years. plus that house was built by my grandfather so insulting that house is insulting me and them is fighting words" Darek said with a scrawl.
"Oh really like you can fight use" the brown pony said.
Darek got out of bed standing to his full height of 6 feet 4 inches tall well the pony's where almost 5 inches taller then him. Both started to laugh at him until he rolled his shirt up unfortatly Darek showed an old tattoo. both pony's stopped laughing and stared at the tattoo quickly being scare. As if on cue a purple alicorn walked in and looked at the human.
"I'm so sorry about this" the purple pony said " we didn't know you owned the land.
"its ok but how did you find out" asked Darek.
"I went through some papers i found and it showed a name as the owner plus this thing on you had your photo plus the name" the purple pony said.
"Oh well thank you my name is Darek by the way" Darek said.
"Twilight" twilight answered.
Darek watch as twilight left with the guard and the nurse came back. after one left minute check Darek walked out of the hospital and back to his claim. Darek soon arrived and went inside heading for the basement. Upon entering the basement he walked over to a room with a huge safe door. Darek put in the combo and the door opened to revel a huge volume of gold. Darek was surprised as he only expected to see maybe 3 to 4,000 ounces but this must have been close to 3 or 4 tons of gold. Just then the door bell rand. Darek closed the safe and went upstairs to open the door. Once he opened the door he saw a pony standing there with 5 others plus what looked like a dragon. This can't be good Darek thought.
"Hello again" twilight said.
"I see you brought your friends you can come in" Darek said.
Darek stepped aside as the pony's and the dragon walked in and introduced themselves.
"So how do you own so much land" asked rainbow dash.
"Well over 100 years ago an ancestor of mine bought it from the government and that's about" But Darek never got to finish his sentence as a guard burst through the door out of breath.
"Princess twilight there has been a disaster" the guard said.
"What happened" twilight asked.
"Well the cloudsdale weather machine sent a huge snow storm to ponyville and now its under 10 feet of snow" the guard said getting a gasp from the pony's.
"What do we do the pony snow removal team can't clear that much snow" said applejack.
"Leave that to me" Darek said as he got up and walked out of his house.
Darek made his way over to a large building with the word's dozer depot on it. Darek went in and opened the door. The pony's gasped at what they saw. Huge objects made of metal. Darek walked over to one with the word Komatsu on its front. Darek started the dozer and drove it out and all the pony's saw on its side it read d475.
"What is that" asked twilight.
" this is a Komatsu d475 superdozer with a 14 foot by 27 foot blade made to move earth but it can move snow so watch out" Darek said as he put the dozer in gear and dropped the blade before starting to plow the road to ponyville.
Darek drove down the road with the pony's fallowing him surprised that the machine was moving so much snow. Darek laughed at there expressions. Darek soon made it to town and plowed all the streets to make it easier to move around. But just as Darek was finishing up a strange glow over took his machine and it spluttered before it stopped. Darek looked at his control panel and saw nothing. Darek got down from his machine only to be meet with two towering pony's.
"Aw shit not again" Darek said
