Quarry is a fresh investigator who has yet to earn his first badge. He goes to meet Honey, the deputy head of police, who informs him of a report that a serial killer is on the loose in Sugarcube Corner for his first mission.

He is jolted awake by Honey's warning about a probable serial killer and begins to look into the case. He recalls Pinkie Pie and decides to go to Sugarcube Corner to investigate the mystery.

Unfortunately, the murderer has some plans for him that he won't like.
