Last Hope
Chapter 2
Previous ChapterIt was dark and gloomy. A pegasus, a unicorn, and an earth pony were roaming the Everfree, trying to find mystical creatures to train on. Even though the Everfree Forest is sought to be one of the most horrifying, creepy, and eerie places in Equestria, they still were roaming it. And, to top things of, they split up. They had no fear of being eaten, destroyed, or worst case scenario, raped.
Mirad, the pegasus pony wasn't flying. He was simply training to run faster and be more agile than he already was. He always flew away from trouble, but it caught up to him one day. Turns out he has the worst fear of it happening again, just this time while he's fighting something bigger..
Blitz, the unicorn pony, was training on an Ursa Minor, trying to put it asleep with a spell he had learned from Twilight weeks before. He could never find the spare time to do it, but it seemed now was a good time. Even being in the Everfree it is. He would never let his buds down whenever they did this.
Dusk, the earth pony, was focusing mainly on attacking. She felt it was better if she were to overcome obstacles with a bare kick and a loose hoof. The reason this had come to mind was from a horrible childhood accident, where she was lost in Everfree, and had came up to an unknown creature. She has a natural instinct to fight back after the first blow, at least in the time we're in now she does. It tried to black her out, but she tried to suck, and it ended up poking her eye out. The strike was so terrible, they couldn't give her a new eye. Now she wears an eye patch over it.
In the middle of their training session, the three ponies heard the ginormous boom from Canterlot Castle, or at least it's ruins. They did hear the first one, but it was too faint, they they paid no attention to it. "What was that!?" Blitz cried out, screaming from a spot in the forest. "I have no idea!" Mirad yelled. "Should we meet back at the entrance of this place!?"
"Yes!" cried Dusk. They all scrambled to the entrance of Everfree, right around where Fluttershy lived. They scurried to her door like mice and banged on it with their hooves. "Fluttershy," cried Mirad, almost out of breath. "We need you!!"
The door opened from continuous banging, and it open to reveal only animals. They searched her house, and Fluttershy was nowhere to be seen. "That's odd, shouldn't she be tending to her animals by now?," Dusk said. "Yeah, this IS their feeding time after all..." said Mirad.
Blitz was looking upstairs for Fluttershy. He noticed that the room was a mess. "She's not up here at all," he said, "but something seems odd about the way her room is..." Mirad and Dusk worked their way up to her room and noticed the complete mess that it was. "You're right, Blitz," Mirad said, "This isn't right at all..."
"Maybe she just was in a hurry?" said Dusk. "No, that's not right. She never leaves the room a mess, even when she is in a hurry. I've been here so many times I know her that well." Mirad said. They still searched on the room, and they had found nothing. When they got outside, they noticed that Canterlot Castle was destroyed.
"What's going on at the castle?!" Dusk exclaimed. "This ain't right, fellas. We need to get up to that castle immediately!"
Mirad grabbed Blitz's front legs and carried him up into the air. Blitz used his magic to grab Dusk off the ground so she could tag along. The trio set off for Canterlot to start a huge adventure. One they wouldn't even expect.
