Arrival

"You got Rift readings?" Asked Ianto as Marcus frantically typed at the Hub's mainframe screen, "We've got massive temporal splinters, they're all converging here, their opening a- no!, Brace yourselves!" said Marcus as he and Ianto held on to whatever they could find as an earthquake hit the Hub, "What's going on?" Asked Twilight as she struggled to get to the the pair. "We've got a temporal splinter within the Rift-" said Marcus as he was cut off as he and the pair disappeared.

"Where am I? Aghhh my head" exclaimed Marcus as he tried to grab onto a railing, he looked around, he wasn't in The Hub or Cardiff for that matter. He was in Twilight's library" "Oh great, Ponyville" he muttered realizing that Ianto was with him, he got up, looking around, he saw a cream colored earth pony with Ianto's hairstyle, with a coffee cup cutie mark, he trotted over to Gwen who was also unconscious, Twilight and Jack were fully awake, looking at Marcus's laptop, "What've we got?" Asked Marcus, "The Rift opened a trans-dimensional crack in the Universe, it sucked us through, into Equestria. Twilight replied. "What about Gwen and Ianto?" Jack asked, "Their uncon-" Marcus jumped as he heard a loud scream coming from the bathroom, the three trotted into the bathroom, seeing Gwen trembling at the sight of her hooves, "What's happened to me? Jack? Marcus! I'm going to kill you!" She yelled as she laid eyes on the pair, Marcus frantically scanned her, with his sonic screwdriver, "Umm Gwen, you've traveled to another Universe, populated by sentient Equine. Is that gonna calm you down?" Said Marcus.

The three heard a knock on the door, "Who is it?" Exclaimed Twilight, "It's me Twilight!" Yelled Pinkie Pie as she bounced into the Library, "Where have you been? I've looking for you all day!" "Fluttershy's been wanting to know where you are." She said, as Fluttershy poked her head through the doorway, "Oh umm, hello" Fluttershy blushed as she walked in towards her, Marcus noticed that Ianto had woken up, he rubbed his head with his hoof, "What's happened?" He asked as he got up, "You'll be alright, just stay calm, we've crossed dimensions, your... well a pony" said Marcus, "It could be worse" he said looking into a mirror, "Your clothes and body size change with the trans temporal shift" Marcus explained.

"There are different sentient species here, Unicorns, Pegasai, Dragons. The list goes on..." He continued, Marcus turned towards Gwen "Where am I anyway?" She asked, "Your in a small town called Ponyville" replied Jack who flew down from the stairwell, "You've been here before?" Asked Ianto, "Once or twice" Jack replied. "Omigosh I haven't seen you guys here before!" Exclaimed Pinkie who looked at the Gwen and Ianto, "We're from ermm Cartiff, yes Cartiff" said Ianto.

"Ooh city folk I see, I gotta go Twilight" she said as she walked out with Fluttershy following after her. "Who the hell was that?" Asked Gwen rubbing her head, "She's, a friend of Twi- ah Tori's" said Jack, "Tori and I are going for a walk" said Marcus as he and Twilight walked out the door, "I don't know what happened with the Rift" said Marcus as he and Twilight walked through the town, finding a park bench the pair sat down, talking about life on Earth and Equestria, "I-I, Marcus, I want to try and go out for a date tonight, without you getting shot, The Lunar Festival's on tonight the Princess will be coming to Ponyville." said Twilight, "I'll go, I need some time from Torchwood" Marcus replied.

Later that night…

The streets of Ponyville were lit up, full of pony's of different colors, a large procession of ponies came through as Princess Luna's convoy came through in a dark blue cart, drawn by bat like Pegasai, Twilight and Marcus had a front row seat, a strange looking Pegasus positioned himself near the pair. The group of ponies didn't take notice of him, the Pegasus leapt out of the crowd brandishing a knife towards the Princess, Marcus leapt in front of the pony blocking his attack with a swipe of his sword, knocking the blade from his mouth, "So much for a night out" Twilight muttered. "Princess I suggest you get out of here, I'll take care of him" said Marcus, he trotted towards him, "You know assassinating a royal won't get you anywhere in life mate" said Marcus as he knocked him out. He trotted towards Twilight as he adjusted his suit. "You ok Marcus?" She asked, "I'm ok, I just saved the princess you know" he replied, "Your never far away from the action aren't you?" Twilight continued as she kissed him, "Thank you" Marcus replied as he and Twilight went into a deep kiss, unknown to the pair a small Pegasus holding a camera snapped a photo of them....

The next day…

"Marcus, listen to this, "Mysterious Unicorn stops assassination attempt on Princess Luna" was that you?" Asked Gwen, "Who else has a black belt in 20 martial arts and wields swords?" Replied Marcus as he drank a cup of coffee, "Who ever is responsible for saving the Princess, is required to see the Royal sisters ASAP" Gwen continued, Marcus spat out his coffee in surprise, "I have to see the princess's!?!". "You'll have to go, they'll probably give you a medal or something, or an award of some sort" said Ianto. "I guess I'll go then" replied Marcus…

Canterlot

"…Your bravery for saving Princess Luna has earned you the highest civilian Medal of Honor, The Crimson Cross" said Princess Celestia as she put the medal around Marcus's neck, "Thank you Princess" Marcus said as he stepped to the side, a brown stallion walked behind Marcus's ear whispering something, he stepped off the stage and trotted towards a door.

"Princess Luna, I've heard I have a reputation for the paranormal?" Said Marcus as he entered her bedchambers, "My sister and I have seen your talent for investigating the unknown, I've been thinking of making an elite team of ponies, investigating these happenings" she said, "Well your in luck, I have a bunch of friends who excel in this subject" Marcus replied, "Then what will we call this organization?"Luna asked, "Torchwood, Torchwood Institute" Marcus replied…
